This place finally closed. Its no wonder! The quality food has been lacking for years and Ive experienced on several occasions my order either not right or substituted items without being informed. The management at this location has great communication skills. Unlike somewhere else that simply ignored me and acted like I wasnt even there anymore when I explain that Im not supposed to confirm that I picked up the order before I actually have, because my time for delivery starts then and I get in trouble if I am late in completing the delivery, the manager working at this store explained her reasoning for it in a totally understandable way and seem to respect my explanation as well. While I will not be able to continue doing that, I do understand the reasoning behind it.

One star is one too many. This location continues to fail its customers. Out of sides, or out of chicken. Rarely gets an order right. Live very close to this location and will drive way out of the way to other Popeyes locations. Or just skip Popeyes all together. The entire town of Amarillo is aware of this locations lackluster performance and chooses not to waste money there. (Obviously not everyone but still). Avoid avoid avoid!!!

We mobile ordered 30 minutes ahead because we had a somewhat large order for a gathering. We arrived a couple minutes ahead of scheduled pick up time. We were told it would be another 15 minutes. 30 minutes later we went up to check on the status of our order. They hadnt even printed it and told us it would be another 15 minutes. The lady did at least offer to give us a drink while we waited but we ended up waiting a total of over 45 minutes for food that was ordered 30 minutes in advance and at least six orders that were placed after ours (higher order numbers) were completed before we received our food. On another different occasion I arrived 10 minutes after open to be told that a chicken sandwich would be another 30 minutes. I dont think I have ever had a good experience at this popeyes regardless of how slow it is. I will not be returning to this particular location if I can help it unless I have at least an hour to spare. It may just be shortstaffed (I counted 5 team members visible to me) post covid but this is consistently rediculous and can not be counted on for service in a reliable time-frame. Food is good and orders are usually correct even though they take FOREVER.

I like the food but every time I go there it never fails its always a long wait for anything. In fact, my daughter was playing on her phone from the moment we pulled in the drive-thru watched a whole mini episode of something on her phone looked up and said We are still here?!?! Just for an example. This time the food was actually on point and tasted great. Usually the shrimp are over cooked and never full shrimp only like little crispy crumbs.

Very bad service, racists, Im from Spain and the lady who served me served me very poorly. She did it on purpose, I had to go order my food because otherwise I wouldnt have eaten all night. I went to this place because I had been there before and had eaten very well, but There is not the same staff, we know that customer service is difficult but if you are going to serve azy better stay at home otherwise dirty tables vat eat there but after all that I better ordered my food for yebar I ended up eating in a park with my family my Im glad I wont go to this place again

This place is a hot mess, always out of something. The line is so slow,couldnt redeem my coupon for lack of items. At least the cashier was somewhat nice I think she needs help though!
