We live in Santa Fe, but will make the drive to Alvin just for this park. My sons enjoy the playground and the lake with a walking path around it. Its a very well maintained park. Bathrooms are always clean and stocked.

When I think of a county Park, I dont think of much. However, this park is a treat. From its well-maintained soccer fields, ample pavilions for rent, beautiful lakes, and pleasant trail for walking and running, it really is a great place to take a break from everyday life for you and your family.

Nice place to fish, at least at the small back lake. The large main lake would awesome to fish from, but needs to have the water aerators, fountains or whatever they are removed. All they are doing is clouding up the water and choking the fish out.

Toilets: The restrooms are open to the weather, but well-maintained and also there are sinks for cleanup Dog-friendliness: Very nice amenities. Be cautious with your dog around the lake area because there are reports of alligators that may think your dog looks tasty. They should be on a leash for their safety. Picnic area: Very nice picnic area the lake with all of its wildlife. The birds singing makes it very peaceful. There are nice pavilions open sided that allow you to have groups there with picnic tables and trash facilities. Also, there is water faucets available for cleanup. We enjoyed having an outdoor church service there this Sunday.

Our pastors rented the pavilion for a church service. It was really nice and just the right size for our group. We are going to have a potluck dinner November 12,2023. It will be at the pavilion again. The kids have guided play time in the playground. It is very nice and the pavilion is close in case of a problem with the kids.

This was my first time using a pavilion at this park. Though I was just helping out with my groups event, the park staff were very friendly and attentive. They checked on us several times to make sure we were happy with the area and even came out to clear it of some ants that popped up during the storm the night before. Also, I was fully prepared to find a swampy flooded mess when we got there in the morning. It was lovely. You can tell the grass got a good soak, but there were absolutely no muddy spots near our pavilion (Coppinger) or surrounding areas. Playground: My kiddo loved the GIANT slides! Picnic area: Spacious pavilion with a ton of seating!

Older park. They are doing some work and the disc golf course is better than it used to be... (less water hazard holes ;) but there are better courses within 10 miles. Definitely worth visiting if you have kids. The pond had tons of ducks and the covered areas and playground look fun.

No body with wheelchairs allowed. Speed bumps are so large and frequent that a wheel chair accessible minivan will be damaged trying to cross them. Last I checked that was illegal

I played the nine hole Disc golf course . Number one through four , it s tees are nowhere to be found. From 7 to 8 is a really long walk. Someone didn t think about this course very well , they need tee post markers, simply a post marking where the tea is on every hole even the alternates

This is a great park. Walking path, fishing, pavilions and playground. EDIT: Renovation is complete! Newly expanded walking/hiking/biking trails, one and playground. Oh, yea disk golf too. They planted many Pecan and Sycamore trees. The place looks great and when those young trees grow up shade and pecans for everyone, . Playground: Newly added tower section adds to the swings, tunnel and various playscapes already in place. Toilets: Like most public parks, available during typical daylight hrs. Dog-friendliness: Its a park, for everyone Picnic area: Covered pavilions with tables, tables under trees and plenty of grassy spots.

We all love the Resoft County Park! There is so much to do, very nice variety of playgrounds and swings of different sizes, even a tunnel to walk through. Such a diverse ecosystem full of wildlife. And there are plenty of pavilions, restrooms, benches, and parking spots. A beautiful place to go fishing or walk trails. Playground: Love the variety of playgrounds, swings, and misc. Stuff for the kids. There are 4 playground areas, one is very tall with 3 levels to it, and there are 2 playground areas for smaller children, a tunnel to walk through, and a rock pit.

Alvin, Tx secret treasure! Beautiful park grounds, gr8 for photo op, nice vast area for walking the pooch, they even have poop bags for dogo available nice touch. Playground for the kiddos is kept well, clean, safe & ample space for kids to enjoy. Staff is friendly, inviting, helpful to direct where restroom facilities & even offered assistance in anything we should need as their guests their. We felt VERY much welcomed. Kudos to Isaac Marin kind/respectful young man gave us a bit of history of the man made body of water there,..nice!

Love this part have had easter, diaper/gender reveal here, also birthdays its great for anything anyone and dogs. Also started pokemon go again and working out and having a park just second awalk by walking beats clear lake and hours walk away. Playground: Redone a few years back and the kids love it. Their employees dont know their own rules and when told of the rule she said well the judge makes the rules except its not written on their sign. Not only has a park ranger and a few police officers let me fly my paramotor out but every other employee has said it was ok. Except this grumpy rude woman in a golf cart who rolls up and doesnt even offer a greeting says hope you dont think your flying that in here cause its illegal. Park is in shambles but only decent location close by. Never coming back. Its a park lady. Theres NOBODY EVEN HERE at sun up. You should retire instead of grump around.

I want to start off with the park ranger and staff are amazing at handling creepos here. There was an incident here where a 22 year old was trying to get little 5 year Olds to sit on their lap and get 13 years olds alone in the tree line near the pond. Parents watch your babies very close here. If you see something even a little off trust your instincts. Alvin has too much of Houston bleeding into it.

If you like bird watching and photography, youll enjoy this nice little park near Alvin. Resoft park features covered pavilions, a lake with piers, walking trails and a large play ground for kids.
