Its really hard for me to write this review, because my expectation was so high. Morgan Falls has a wonderful establishment, beautiful land and greenery that is why my husband and I decided to have our wedding there on March 24, 2024. Walking into Morgan Falls started off great. We gave the owner a budget that we were willing to spend for our wedding. We were told that everything would be able to be executed within our budget All-inclusive because thats what we wanted. Now going into this we had no idea that we were going to have to contact all of our vendors. Of course, this happened after we signed our contract, and we received an email saying that there is a manual that would be given to us on how to conduct our wedding. I knew right then and there that this was going to be a hard road for me and my husband because we had no idea how much work a wedding can be. Throughout this process we thought that we were going to have help from Morgan Falls owner Kristina Cox. We were told by November we should start to hear from our vendors in getting the process going and that she had reached out to everyone, notifying them about our contract with Morgan Falls. Being who I am, I like to give people time, so I waited a week into November before I had some concerns, that I hadnt heard from any of the vendors. I reached out to Kristina, and I told her that none of the vendors had contacted me, and she didnt understand why that was, she said she had notified everybody and that I should start hearing from them. So, I told her to please give me everyone contact so I can reach out to them myself, instead of her saying no thats OK I will reiterate that they should start the process, she proceeded to give me their contact information. I should have taken that as a red flag because customer service is so important, I would never allow my client to do my job. I finally reached out to all my vendors, and no one knew who we were. They knew of Morgan Falls of course because of the business with them previously throughout the years. Moving forward our first appointment was with our cake vendor at the end of our consultation she summed up the payment and it was very large. When I told her we had a contract with Morgan Falls she was in disbelief. That she proceeded to contact the owner which was not available. Her reasoning was that she was out of town and had no phone service. Thank God my husband and I had our contract on hand so with that we could show her proof otherwise I dont think she would have moved forward with our cake service. Moving forward to our vendor for catering was a disaster. She had two caterers that we were able to pick from. When we met with the first caterer it started off pleasant. Then we told him that we had a contract with Morgan Falls the whole vibe of the conversation changed. We exchange information of what we wanted and what was reiterated to us from Morgan Falls. Again, this vendor had no idea about our contract and that we were looking for catering with Morgan Fall. After having a conversation with him we knew that he did not want to move forward. By now I am deeply concerned so I reached out to Kristina once again to ask why no one knows who we are, and she proceeded to give me a back story about how they used to do all inclusive packages until COVID hit and it changed everything. I understand that COVID changed a lot of things, but we are talking about the present not the past, so I felt like the accountability of what was going on was not taken seriously. People duck responsibility for reasons ranging from simple laziness or a fear of failure, through to a sense of feeling overwhelmed by the scale of a problem or a situation. Whatever the reason, if people fail to take responsibility, theyll fail in their jobs, theyll fail their teams, and theyll fail to grow as individuals. All of this makes it important to address the issue. This continued from September to December until we decided to hire a day of coordinator. So please think twice before having an event with Morgan Falls.

Mrs. Kristina Cox is the hardest working woman in the event business, hands down! Morgan Falls was the PERFECT venue for my wedding, they think of everything. The service they delivered the day of the wedding and the year of planning before could not have been better. I have so many wonderful things to say I ll break it up. Planning: They have a special planner to help with room layout and keep you on track with all the little details to remember. All of the replies are INCREDIBLY PROMPT and professional. They truly let you plan YOUR wedding your way with amazing support along the way. Their pricing is fair, transparent, and allows you customize. Facilities: The whole property is perfectly laid out with even the smallest details considered. I 100% recommend an in-person tour or coming to an open house to see for yourself! The on-site accommodations are PERFECT for the bridal party to stay together and get glammed up. I stayed with my bridesmaids and had a BLAST! I loved being able to choose from the ballroom, climate control tent, or patio with twinkle lights. I used all 3 and the ceremony space. The ceremony space is TURF so it s beautifully green and no sinking in to grass with your shoes. Services and Amenities: The best and most genuine I ve ever seen. The whole Morgan Falls team worked together seamlessly to make all my bride dreams come true. Their years of experience show, through with well they move through the background, keeping me a carefree bride. I wish I could give more details about how great the service was, but I was too busy being a bride and having an amazing time. My wedding was magical, memorable, and beautiful thanks to the Morgan Falls team!

Attended a birthday party absolutely beautiful the set up was so nice. It was absolutely just so much room for the amount of gas that was attending the venue for the double birthday party. You had a stage four in attainment where you had the live band playing there was room for Dj on the side. There was also rooms for the indoors table setting decoration was amazing there was Huge staircase where you could actually overlook the balcony up at the top. You also had the outdoors where you had your table setting, and your caterers can set up to serve your guests food. It was a great venue for either a wedding reception a birthday party an anniversary or just a wonderful family reunion. It s a great spot with a lot of room. The courtyard was very beautiful. There s a waterfall in the back of the place that I really got to say that this is a great venue. It was a little far out but it wasn t that bad. It was about a 40 minute drive from the center of galleria of Houston but that wasn t too bad. Traffic was pretty light and it was easy to get there, so we actually made it there and made it back in less or time so I say I give this little location definitely a five.

Beautiful place my Mom and I walk are dogs past it, be ware theres a little boy who let us know that it was private property and we cant stand in driveway to let cars pass cause his parents own it!!! Lol! I assured him we werent going to do anything. Too cute!!

We were fortunate enough to book with Morgans Falls for a corporate filming event. The owners and operators of this facility are beyond amazing. I cannot express how accommodating, kind, flexible, and patient they were with. Not once did we ever feel like an inconvenience when having to request a new accommodation. Genuinely grateful to Kristina and her team. If you are a corporation and need a place to host any events (we booked a full week!) I d HIGHLY suggest you book with Morgan Falls; it is our only go-to, from now on!

The Christmas show on the 10th of December was unorganized and very disappointing. All the venders that were there were very upset because NO ONE was there. THE WORSE SHOW OUT OF 16 YEARS OF DOING SHOWS. Unorganized and no advertisement. Just a little sign in the front. At the last minute, the night before the show, theys sent out an email asking venders to please envite people. I WAS SHOCKED!!! YOU DONT DO THAT. ADVERTISE THE SHOW!!!! Facebook is not the only way to advertise the show. They didnt apologize or offer any of our money back. Will not do this one again. Not one sale!!!!!!!!!

They were very helpful in every stage of wedding preparation and worked extremely well with all of our vendors. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Our Big Day was perfect.

Kristina Cox is extremely unprofessional couldnt get anything right or explain anything right! She responds late weeks late! I couldnt even sign the contract because her computer was messing up and signed for me. She sent everything late she didnt even get my guest count right and then the month before my wedding she had my guest count wrong and wanted me to pay $3,000 extra. Completely scammed me out of my money I couldnt have my wedding unless I paid her that money and then I had to cancel all of my family members who were coming because she got the guest count wrong. And when I confronted her about her mistake she gas-lighted! She gaslighted me how Im unprofessional is that! Im telling you all this so that yall do not make the same mistakes as I did! I dont understand how she had this many good reviews. Find better venues please

I do feel I need to offer my honest review after my experience. The venue is beautiful. Walking into MF, the venue sells itself with the outdoor greenery. Truly made for a lovely ceremony backdrop and wedding photos To keep things short, I had a vision for a wedding at MF and felt like a Contract and not a customer/bride. The day overall was chaotic. 1) The venue is not set up for 300 people. I had 230 people or so attend and the ceremony probably can only seat 150 comfortably. Cars from the Valet were parked in every nook/patch of grass available, & bartenders struggled to keep up with the guests. 2)Next, make sure a mask/no mask policy is mentioned in your contract. We were initially sent a mask policy requirement one month before the event. This was extremely stressful. 3) Even if it is discussed and pitched to you, make sure decoration time is noted in your contract! Their website says the venue is yours for the day but my florist/DOC were denied entry until 2.5 hours before the ceremony to decorate although there were no prior events. 4) Although we paid for extended time, MF attempted to shut down the reception early. Luckily my DOC was there to help communicate and pull up the emails and invoice from their selected bartender showing this and the event was reopen...confusing to me and my guests. It was mentioned if we were not out on time, they would lock the door with all our belongings behind us. 5) Many guests complained from unprofessional staff, making many of the ladies so uncomfortable they could not leave from their tables. :( These are a few of the main things and hoping this helps future brides. Overall, if you have a vision of basic inclusions...make sure it is clearly written in the contract.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! From start to finish, Morgan Falls made our wedding dreams come true!!!! This venue is immaculate. My guests were so impressed about the landscaping and structure. Guests basked in the picturesque scenery that was breath taking. I loved the way Kristina and the whole staff were so intentional and attentive to our needs and requests. I would suggest if you hadnt looked into or have done a tour you should. It is such a best kept secret and you will not be disappointed. I would recommend Morgan Falls to any bride and groom, or anyone searching for a venue for a special event. Thank you Morgan Falls for making our dream day a reality!!

We planned to use Morgan Falls for a bridal shower. But just before our event, everything was shut down due to the pandemic. We tried to get out money back, Morgan Falls refused. Once the venue reopened, we were given a couple of dates in July, for a Sunday afternoon. Our destination wedding cruise was planned for August 8, which was canceled too. We contacted Morgan Falls to see if we could have a small ceremony instead. Kristina told us we could have the ceremony but normally it would be considered an elopement which required an additional $2000. We were told if we did not pay the extra amount, we could not have music, food, or anything else. Just the ceremony and appetizers. We were not allowed to use the bridal room for the bride to change in. The bride was required to come in ready in this July heat. We could not use the ground or go upstairs, for any reason. The couple was allowed to invite a maximum of 50 people. Under the circumstances, we certainly did not want to give them any more money in case things shut down again and we could not get a refund. Then her husband Henry called, telling us we were costing him money and was extremely rude. He said we were required to have security, a bartender, etc. If he would have just been considerate, we could have certainly worked out something. We know Alvin, Friendswood and Houston Police officers, that would have done this for the couple for nothing. We have many friends that are volunteers at the HLSR and are TABC certified. Finally, Henry agrees and says we would be required to provide everything, we still could use only the venue itself and he expected a 5-star review. We purchased sparklers because they said we had to provide everything. Then they tell us we must purchase directly from them. Considering they own the event planning service Celebrate & Communicate, makes sense why the say we were costing them money. The couple did not deserve to be treated like this. We were given 2 hours before the day before to set up. Kristina Cox calls and says we have just a few minutes longer and if we go over, she will deduct that amount of time from the day of the ceremony. Then to see they posted a video on their Facebook page, making it appear they had set up for this wedding. They provided the venue, everything else you see in the video, the family provided. Including decorations, flowers, food, paper goods and utensils, alcohol, and water. It is not like this place is scheduled every day; they should have been more accommodating so we would refer people. Brides need to be aware!

*****This is a 10 star rating but only 5 stars are permitted******** There are no words to express how amazing this venue is or how beautiful and well kept it is. From my first contact with them to a few moments before the wedding, they were responsive and understanding of the various issues that occur in planning a wedding. They put much care and consideration into our wedding and I was worry free. The floor plan is perfect. The layout of the facility is versatile. It was perfect for our small and intimate wedding. We had an outdoor wedding with an indoor reception that was exclusive to our event. We picked the Elopement Package on a Friday afternoon There are a variety of packages prices and sight unseen, that is what attracted my Groom ;) We wanted a simple wedding but received an elegant affair that we will forever cherish. Thank you soooooooooo much for our priceless memories!

I was hired for a wedding here at Morgan Falls Events and it was very nice. The venue staff very helpful attentive that the event which was a wedding flowed smoothly. Kristina the coordinator was very helpful in determining the timeline for the wedding and of they were any changes she would let me know right away. The location is beautiful perfect for the weddings looking for a beautiful scenery background for the ceremony and pictures.

If I could review this place no stars, I would. My best friend, Karla, had her wedding at this venue and from the same week she booked it, she was already unsure if she had made a good decision. She paid the venue ($14,000) in a year and what was promised to her was completely different than what was actually delivered. She had been promised flowers, video, photos, food for 150 people, etc. Flowers: it s only a $300 credit. Basically only covering her bouquet and her maid of honor. That s it! Video and photos: you need to print out your own photos because their sent via email and the video is literally just a highlight 8 minute video. Not the full video! The photographer was excellent, don t get me wrong. But Kristina said there was a lot more that would be given. Food: people had gotten there while it was still time for food but the servers didn t want to serve them! Oh and speaking of servers, we caught them sitting and eating in the bridal suite where all of our personal belongings were. Food was cold, drinks watered down, and no one was given seconds! Even though she paid for 150 and only about 80 showed up. Guest didn t complain to Karla that night because it was her and her husband special day. She didn t start hearing of everything that went wrong until three days later. I knew about some things and tried to fix things but at the end of the day, it was a horrible experience. If you re thinking about this venue, please ask questions. Be completely thorough in what you want and what she can deliver. But honestly, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible place. I had my wedding here on October 12th this year. I have never been more stressed out in my life and my mother had to be my coordinator because the person we paid to be the coordinator did not do her job. While I got dressed my mother wasnt even able to see me in my dress until I was walking down the aisle. My cake was wrong and from the vendor kristina chose. I always felt like I was being hated bc I am white and I thought I was assuming until I had guests calling me saying that they didnt feel welcome bc of kristina giving dirty looks to my white guests. I never recommend this place and I never will Not even to my worst enemy. Horrible place and ran by a horrible person

We are neighbors to this event center. This is a residential neighborhood! When they host an event our windows & pictures rattle the entire time. The amout of noise they pump out would be illegal for me our my neighbors to do, but they are a business & are allowed to be loud! Many of us work on the weekends, their disruptive noise is inconsiderate.

I just had my wedding at Morgan Falls this past Saturday and all I have to say is that the venue is beautiful and Cherie is amazing! Cherie goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. I would recommend Morgan Falls to everyone for that special event, you will love it as much as my hubby and I did!!
