We love this place! Being a tap house, they have a wide variety of food with vegetarian options. My husband loves their Brew Crew board and is working to be part of it. Lots of TVs for sports and the food is really good. We find ourselves at this place often! Thank you, Brass Tap!

I think it s unfair that a group of people try to tank a restaurant s reviews. Sure I think they may have been rude, but for everyone to get together to tank reviews is crazy. Anyway, I m just someone who read the reviews before going However, my experience was great.. The food was fresh and hot and we had great service. I would recommend giving them a try.

So my daughter who recently had her first baby, went into this establishment yesterday with a couple girlfriends to celebrate her birthday. Due to being a new mom she is on a very particular diet since she breast feeds as well. This was a first time out at all in 3 months. The ladies, if you can call them that that were bartending, decided not only was she an inconvenience, but that they would make fun of her diet to her face !!! In what world is this okay ? What business but especially in Texas would allow this. The phone number listed on Google is not a business phone and lists a completely different number on the voicemail than the number listed. I will be letting everyone know how this business chooses to let there staff treat PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! It is completely unacceptable! If you dont want to be treated poorly for giving your hard earned money for drinks or food, do not support this business. You should be ashamed of yourselves! Thats okay word will get out, I intend on making sure of it! Social media content regarding this too follow!

I visit this bar every Sunday for brunch, and it never disappoints! The flapjacks are absolutely amazing and a must-try. They also have an incredible selection of non-alcoholic beers, which is a nice touch. Julia and the other girls provide outstanding service every time. They are always so wonderful and attentive, making each visit a delightful experience. Highly recommend this place!

Love this place! Im a huge craft beer fan so I frequent this place a lot. Every time Im there, the bartender Julia never fails to help me out. I just want to call out how sweet, thoughtful, helpful and patient she is. She makes me laugh and really knows how to connect with the customers. I feel sorry for her and the other bartenders/servers that have to deal with some incredibly RUDE high maintenance people--as I have witnessed this on a few occasions now.. smh I mean for god sakes, its a bar not a Michelin-star restaurant. Ive seen Julia handle situations so professionally with the most annoying and difficult customers Ive seen, when to be honest the customer should have been asked to leave. This girl deserves props for real. If you go to the Brass Tap, make sure Julia is your bartender because she literally takes care of you!!!!

went with my friend who is breastfeeding and has dietary restrictions, we let them know the situation. when our waitress went to the bar to ask about ingredients my boyfriend heard the bartenders and waitresses laughing and saying why would they come to a bar when they have these restrictions that was extremely rude and unprofessional. the bar tender also pushed the bathroom door so hard and it hit my friends hand and gave her a bruise. would not recommend this brass tap at all. we left before we even got drinks because of the terrible interaction. i have had great experiences with the sachse location and would only recommend that one.

My husband and I love to come to Brass Tap every Thursday night for Singo Bingo and completely enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the service. On Thursday August 29, 2024 our family had a completely different experience. Our server is a new girl, Maddie, and she so lacked in service skills that I thought we were going to have to serve ourselves. She got upset that we needed a 4 top and the only one available still had 2 used glasses on it. We told her we would gladly wait for her to clean it but she took the 2 dirty glasses and slammed them down on the next table(unprofessional in my opinion) She wasnt very knowledgeable about the beer menu and when we said Oh, Sam, our usual guy always has suggestions. Her reply.....Well obviously hes not here so I dont know what to say HUH ??? It took a while actually for her to even come to our table to check on refills, how our food was, or to clean them after we ate. We did this ourself eventually. It wasnt an enjoyable time and my adult kids were kinda upset that she was like that. Again, we enjoy the atmosphere, the food is pretty tasty, but last night just really left us with negative thoughts.

Great selection of draft beers and spirits. I cant stay away from the nachos which are the best you will find around. Not only are they extremely flavorful, but the portion is enough for 2. I have tried a great deal of the food here and Im never disappointed. Stop in if you are anywhere close and you will leave happy.

One of the best bars ever. They have so many craft beers - we even joke with the servers that they can t keep up with them. Ha. And their bar food is wonderful, with Impossible vegetarian meat selections: (Tacos, nachos, burgers, etc) - all delicious! The servers are so much fun too - especially during their Music Bingo events, which I love. We laughed so much we were almost in tears. Lots of great memories being made here. I hope they always keep these fun event nights. Vegetarian options: Lots of tasty vegetarian options, including Impossible tacos, nachos and burgers. (And the usual salads and sides that vegetarians can eat too.)

We stopped in at 11am for a burger. The guys working there were super friendly and it was a really cool place. I thought I was going to a great hamburger place, but turns out it is a bar that makes a great burger. They had so many great beers on tap it was a shame I got hungry so early and didnt choose to partake of one. I didnt leave disappointed. My burger was really good and it was part of a lunch special with fries that made it a bargain too. I would absolutely choose it again!

I recently visited The Brass Tap, a great spot for delicious bar food. I had the Fish and Chips, and they were fantastic both the fish and fries were crispy and well-seasoned. My wife had the Fried Shrimp, which were also perfectly seasoned and fried. The atmosphere was excellent, with a welcoming vibe that made our visit enjoyable. Our server was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. Overall, The Brass Tap is a top spot for tasty, well-prepared food. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Trivia was fun, but only on one TV, and we were farthest from it in a very crowded room, so it was difficult to be fast. But good fun nonetheless. We will try again and will sit closer to that TV. I had very high expectations from reading the reviews and a recommendation by a friend. The atmosphere is great. Plentiful beer! Allan & I each ordered a glass of Freakshow Cab. It was delicious. Allans All American Pub Burger was ok; he commented halfway through his platter that his food was cold. My Fish & Chips basket came with crinkle fries , 3 generous panko-crusted fish pieces, and a small cup of coleslaw. The coleslaw was very good. The tartar sauce was unusual! It looked like ranch dressing, but it didnt taste like ranch. And it didnt taste like tartar sauce either. The fish was heavy on the oil, and I couldnt pick it up without it breaking. And I think someone went salt shaker happy because both my fries & fish were super, super, salty. Allan & I have been wanting to check out the Brass Tap, and we finally made it! Great beer joint! However, we continue on with our quest to find the best hamburger and fish & chips!

Its a cool place to eat. They have pretty much anything you are in the mood for. Craft beer is very good. They also have spirits. The food was delicious. The service was great. Our server was on the ball and checked on us without being overbearing. Restrooms were ok. Not the best. I still gave it 5*s as people dont always use the restrooms. Yall definitely need to give it a try.

I love going here! They have a great crispy chicken sandwich you can get tossed in any of the sauces. Alyssa is super nice, and is great with beer recommendations TVs are usually tuned to sports, and its a little cavernous, but the AC is always cold

Visiting with a friend, Im a little confused whether this establishment is going for the feel of a suburban sports bar, that of a pub in the UK, a hybrid of those and/or something else entirely. In any event, our waiter was polite and got both my and my friends orders correct. Their chips with the Nashville Hot seasoning were quite tasty; however, Im not so sure about the breading on the fish in the fish & chips basket. As my friend shared her meal with me, I can honestly say that her burger and fries were quite delicious but on the small size by Texas standards. Just the same, unless I was intending to grab a pint or two with a pal, Im not entirely certain Id feel compelled to come back. In gist, it was by no means bad but there are quite a few other establishments within walking distance of this location that Id prefer to eat if I didnt want to grab alcoholic beverages. Food alone, Id probably rate 3.5/5. The people with whom I interacted deserve 5/5, in my opinion. My mistake was probably not getting anything on tap. ;-P
