Nothing bad to say. I got the 10 inch pepperoni pizza. Good size pizza for someone with a good appetite. The crust is definitely the best part. Cooked to absolute perfection. Each bite the perfect amount of crispiness. The sauce, cheese, and pepperoni were good quality too. Service from the bartender was excellent and fast. Restroom was clean. Highly recommended.

The first time me and my wife visit this place the pizza was great I loved it so did my wife that was about 5 months ago. Now we visit this place yesterday and the menu have change so have the pizza not for the best, we ordered a pizza and a steak, the pizza was hard, dense and cold in comparison to what it was before this is a step back. The steak was flavorless, cold, grey, no crust on it and overcook anyway it s disappointing to know how this place have let us down this time. I hope yall improve in the future, I know how good the pizza in this place can be

They were closed for a minute and are back...even better. Check out their Whiskey Wednesday at 7pm. Small restaurant but big on taste Fernando, the co-owner, is from Venezuela but his family is from Portugal His pizza crust requires 2 days to make before it supports your pizza toppings. It is his own recipe and boy is it good...real good The lasagna recipe comes from Portugal as well. Different than your standard marinara red sauce. Very meaty plus it has ham. And they let you add pizza toppings to your lasagna. I added ricotta and spinach Stop by @Roma-TX and enjoy a unique and delicious experience. You will be glad you did.

We went Sunday for Lunch, we were a large party. The food was tasty, the tequenos were some of the best. I had the chimichurri steak and was so tender and well seasoned. The prices were very good as well. The service had some hiccups but we understood because it was packed. We will return for sure.

Hubby indulged me and found a restaurant that serves margarita pizza. It s our first time here and I not only had the margarita pizza but asked for red onion and black olives as additional toppings. Hubby had the Alfredo pizza. The service was very slow. It took over 30 minutes with only one other couple in the whole restaurant to get our two 10 inch pizzas. Hubby came out piping hot and mine came out.lukewarm. The Margarita pie came with several whole basil leaves, which I then had to take and cut up into smaller chunks so that I could have more basil coverage on the whole pizza. Hubby liked his Alfredo pie. I would say that mine was OK. I think I would ve liked the better if it had the onion on it.

My boyfriend wanted pizza but with fresh toppings. We stopped at other places but were closed due to holiday. I found this place on Google, and let me tell you, I am glad we did. It will be our new to go to place by the house. The service was great and the owner was very friendly and suggested lots of choices. We ordered the fireballs first and they were so delicious my boyfriend was so sad we ate them all, he even told me next time we will get two orders . We shared a pizza next. The pizza was exactly what he was looking for. It is like a NY style pizza, hands down. We got tarimisu after, and it was fresh and warm, not frozen like other places we have tried. We will definitely be going back again, really soon. I would suggest trying this place out!

Our first time at Roma TX and will definitely NOT be our last. Hands down!!! The crispiest and lightest crust we ve ever had. My husband said hours later that he didn t have that full, miserable feeling he normally does after inhaling half a pizza. We had the Carnivore pizza and the meats and toppings were good enough to stand on their own we can rarely say that about toppings. It was spicy and flavorful and simply perfection. Can t wait to return and try the short rib ravioli and the brisket pizza. Top-notch service and wonderful food. And the whiskey was awesome, too, of course.

We had an outstanding experience tonight at Roma-TX! I had the margherita pizza, and my husband had the pepperoni. We both very much enjoyed our pies; my margherita pizza was one of the best I ve ever had (and I ve been to many of the best pizzerias in NYC!). The crust, tomato sauce, and mozzarella were all extremely fresh. The service was great, too. If you re debating coming to this restaurant, don t hesitate another second - you won t regret it!

This place has changed. Price has gone way up and quality has gone way down. Ordered a 16 cheese pizza and it was almost $30. My husband picked up the order and we didnt realize that $4 was added for extra cheese until he got home even though we didnt ask for anything extra. We also ordered a Carnivore. Both pizzas were mediocre, not like how we remembered it to be before they revamped. I would have probably given this place another shot had it not been for the bogus charge which leaves me with a bad taste.

To be completely honest, it is the best pizza I tried. The prosciutto one is the one that told me in the menu Im the one the pizza dough is made with a nice process that Kevin (the owner, such a gentleman) can explain better is made for a magician (Fernando the chef) and the tequeños is something you have to order for an appetizer. Visited on a whim with friends, we WERE NOT disappointed. The layout of the place is confined, and not the best. But that didnt matter with the pizzas we ate. I and 4 other friends enjoyed pepperoni, alfredo, and New Yorker pizzas. We had the meatballs and croissant mozzarella sticks. Alright... so the pizza... its no joke. Its some of the best Ive had in a while. The server (possibly owner?) Described the 48-hour double rising process for their dough. You could taste the quality. Aromatic, crispy, and airy, in just the right way. The sauce that was used was perfect in composition ingredients wise. The alfredo sauce was some of the highest quality Ive encountered. It tasted like it was made only a few hours ago. I had a delicious imported sparkling lemonade drink. Overall, it was a slamming dinner. we WILL return. Our rambunctious group was handled with patience and understanding. I am pleased!

The pizzas were so fresh, the tomato sauce was extremely flavorful and had a good amount of tangy-ness, the pesto was creamy and rich, and the crust was absolutely perfect We will definitely we back My partner loved the emphasis the owner has on Whiskeys and Bourbons, so many really good options for a drink. Went to vote on November 7th and got done late so we were looking for something to eat. My wife and I settled on pizza but wanted something we hadnt tried before. We found Roma pizzeria and decided to give it a spin. We placed our order from the car and went to pick it up. We rolled up and went inside to wait for our order. What a find! The atmosphere was so welcoming and comfortable. We were greeted by an incredibly friendly and helpful employee who turned it to be the owners daughter. While waiting she talked to us about the weekly events they have like Bourbon tasting on Wednesdays and a new craft beer tasting event on Thursdays. This would be a great place to come hang out for drinks and some pizza. We scooped up our food and headed home. We got a margherita pizza and something called Fireballs, Italian meatballs with mozzarella, sauce and jalapenos! Holy cow they were amazing! The pizza was also incredible. Savory, just enough spice and super fresh ingredients. The dough was perfect and even the Texas toast that comes with the meal was crave able. Do yourself, your family, friends and even the coworker you cant stand a favor and get yourself some of this food! Great find and this is certain to be our go to pizza place. Having collectively nearly devoured both a Diablo and a Carnivore earlier tonight as well as having bubbly beverages all around, the only way I could imagine Roma TX Pizzeria being better would be if they offered a gluten-friendly option! (Since I have it on good authority thats being considered, if thats something youd appreciate as well, please let them know.) Edit/Update: The pizzas we received during our return visit (for pick-up) were nowhere near as delightful those we received during our initial experience. Sadly, inconsistencies have forced us back to our old regular pizza place as well as a new pizzeria less than a mile north of here.

Maybe this place is Hit or Miss... I must have been there on a miss day... First off, it was 12:30 afternoon, only ones in the place... and they had their oven off... at lunch time... had to wait an hour for a pizza... in a pizza joint... at lunch time... doesnt sound like a good start, not to have a lunch crowd or lunch to-go orders. I got the impression this place is really just a bar/hangout and pizza is a side hustle and something youd order/eat after youve been drinking too much. Very bland, I had to ask for salt just to get some taste out of it...The crust was like another person said, like a stale pre-made crust. Honestly, Ive had better store bought FROZEN pizzas than this one... Highly disappointing, considering the reviews on this site and their photos... Service was bad... I would have ordered another beer, but was never asked... and we were the only ones in the joint... Needless to say, we will NOT be back... the search goes on for a good pizza place in the Allen/McKinney areas...

Where to begin? Everything was absolutely wonderful! The pizza was phenomenal and was everything I was looking for in a pizza. Excellent flavors, perfect amount of crust, sauce, and cheese. The staff were kind and when I shared that I am a pizza enthusiast and would like to learn how they make theirs, they were accommodating and showed me the whole process behind the scenes. Back to the pizza. They had every type of pizza that a pizza place should have without muddling the true taste of a pizza. 5/5. Would visit again. Overall pretty good pizza. I definitely would choose it over the majority of the pizza places if Im going for a Neapolitan Style pizza. Little thicker but overall really good. Went there a couple weeks ago. Food isnt anywhere near as good as the videos look. Meatballs were good but the cheese sticks werent even cheese sticks. They were like kolaches but with cheese instead of the hotdogs. Very bland. Our main courses came out staggered, my pizza came first, then 5 minutes later my wifes, then 5 minutes later 1 of my kids, then like 10 minutes later, the rest of my kids food came out. Pizza was bland and not good. We were the only table in the whole restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday night and the waitress never came over to check on us, no drink refills, no bussing our appetizers, NOTHING.......I felt robbed when I gave my card and paid $98 bucks for our food. Wont be back.

Updated* Ordered a pepperoni pizza 16. Pizza was good, nice light char on top edge of crust(which Is a plus), flavorful, hot, and ready before they said it would be. Bottom could have used more color. A little floppy because of it.. Would have liked to see less grease, but I did order pepperoni only.. so not points loss for that. Score- 7.5 The Margherita was ok. The main issue was the sauce was very very light especially compared to the other 2 pizzas weve tried now. Taste was good. But the sauce really hurt the pie. Score- 6.3 Overall we were happy and will probably try it again.. but just not quite sure yet. Add a Supreme pizza option to the menu, seriously.

We went here tonight for dinner and it was fantastic. The pizza was amazing, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing I can see Roma-TX becoming our go to pizza place because of their 10inch pizza. Everyone in our family can get they want and no one is stuck eating some they dont. I had the carnivore and the meat was extremely flavorful, the ham had a nice smokey flavor to it. My wife had the Alfredo and their Alfredo sauce was great. If you havent tried this place in a while give it a go I think you will be impressed.

Roma TX will be fabulous once it is completely open. They just recently changed names. I believe I visited during a somewhat soft opening. I was greeted by the owners. Both were very personable. I ordered and Alfredo Pizza, Brisket Tacos and a Pepperoni Pizza. All were delicious, however the Alfredo with Bacon and Black Olives was my favorite. Over all, I enjoyed my visit and will return again:)

Cheese was great, crust was a little burnt, but the workers were super friendly and patient. I was expecting a sit-down restaurant as well, but its literally just a counter to order the food at, a cooler filled with Dr. pepper products (not my jam, but Im not gonna judge), and like 4 chairs to sit in while you wait for your order. Plenty of room for a couple of tables, and that would go a long way towards bumping this review up to 5 stars. Nothing fancy, just a couple of 2-4 person tables.
