The staff were kind. We ordered carne asda Tacos and chicken tacos. The carne asada was actually shredded beef. Not at all what I asked for and there was no flavor. The flour tortillas are soggy and slimy. The corn tortilla is too oily. We also ordered a quesadilla, it was so greasy, no flavor and soggy. We spent $50 here. What a waste. My husband is out buying something else for us to eat because this is that bad.

Food was horrible. Spent $27.00 for two meals that where not eatable. Matter of fact I would not let my dog eat this food. I order Enchiladis and I was given 3 small tacos that had cheese on top of them. The meat was burnt. The beans tasted like old beans from a can and the rice had a nasty taste. After taking three bites I felt so sick. The other meal was supposed to be a torta. All that it had on it was meat. And that was it. I will say the fry where ok.

Amazing al pastor tacos, crazy how you can get 10 for $14 in this economy. Some of the best tacos ive had, most authentic tasting with good flavor and good price. Ive been to many taquerias including salsa verde, but none have compared to the value and taste here. The salsas were amazing!! I drowned my tacos in them, everything here is made fresh, I could taste the quality of the al pastor meat and the churros. I highly recommend getting the churro cajeta, (churros filled with dulce de leche caramel like filling, amazing experience)

They highly recommended this place to us and I dare say that indeed, the food is magnificent and the service was excellent. I recommend ordering the steak quesadilla and the chips with cheese, if you come to eat here, although the pastor is also delicious. Without a doubt we will return.

Great little place to get some good Mexican food. We got the quesadilla de pastor and barbacoa torta and both were huge and had an amazing taste. Chips are made fresh but salsa could be a little bit better, taste too much like tomato and not enough spice but the bottle salsa they make is spicy and has an amazing flavor too.

Ordered from here twice and both times through Uber eats. First time was fine but this last time was not enjoyable. The barbacoa tacos were over salted, the chorizo and potato tacos were simply ok, the fajita tacos has a bizarre texture? I was expecting fajita steak and instead it was more shredded beef. That beef was incredibly dry and basically had to choke down. The horchata was bland and watered down. Tastes more of cinnamon then anything and wasn t sweet. Only saving grace was the rice and beans. Basically didn t touch the tacos and only ate the rice/beans. Won t be returning after this last meal .

I found them on Google and decided to go based on their good reviews.. While placing my order, the girl seemed annoyed. No personality, no nothing. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, hoping the food was going to be good. I ordered the 3 taco plate, a torta, a can drink, and Mexican coke, which was $5.00. I also ordered chips and salsa ($5.50), and I was fine with the price. We waited for it, and it took them about 10 to 15, and there were no other customers. She brought us our food and when I asked her about the chips and salsa. She said they were coming. I told her I wanted a refund for the chips since I wanted my chips before, not with my food, and she got upset. The three Taco plate included charro beans I never received them. She never brought the drinks. I had to get up and get them myself. The food was not too bad, but steak is more like a birra texture. . Never going back

My wife and I were on the road and hungry - I swear an angel guided us into this spot. The portions, the quality of the food, and the friendliness here was so top notch. I got a taco plate and the spicy quesadillas. My god man I am so sad that I finished my meal and can t wait to come back and do this all over again. I wish I took pictures of the food but when it came out I was so ravenously hungry that I eradicated every morsel of food from my plate. You could have been convinced I cleaned that plate with soap and a sponge tbh. 10/10 great food.

Found this spot this second time by accident and so glad I did, I had forgotten the name of the restaurant. My kids love the food, as well. My oldest was ecstatic when we ordered from them the first time saying Finally, real tacos! They had his favorite, lengue.. Although they missed his specific order, this time, he still enjoyed dinner. I like that they are open later than other spots, have the type of tacos were more used to, and more meat options. Still 5 stars, just gotta remember to check our order, next time. Well be back!

We went to this place today for the first time and it was very good! Allen has a lot of chains and sub-par Tex-Mex offerings, so it was nice to go to a place where they serve some of the more authentic dishes. The only reason I rated the atmosphere at 3 is because it was really hot in there, but the place was clean and well run so dont let that discourage you. The lengua was excellent, as were the carnitas. The salsas they provided had good flavor. Service was prompt (10 minutes for food that is clearly being made fresh and delicious) but the place was out of several protein options, so thats the only reason I gave it 4/5. The woman running the register was very kind and friendly and professional. All in all, were definitely going to be going back here, as I want to try their tripa and we like to support local smaller businesses vs. big chains.

I ordered a taco plate with no beans and double rice and I got beans, instead of the double rice, no plastic ware in the bag, no salsa available after I asked for it and when I realized I didnt have any plastic ware and tried to go back in the door was locked.

Delicious food and very friendly staff :) it s within walking distance of the Allen library so my younger brother and I come here often. They re very kind and the owner always recognizes us when we come in. The lengua (beef tongue) tacos are my favorite and so are the enchiladas. You can also get a side of green or red sauce with everything. I highly recommend the green! We sometimes get the churros too. They re always hot and delicious. Very generous portion sizes and affordable.

Having just left Taquerias Cervantez about thirty minutes ago, though, I feel compelled to post a review. This place is great. Based on its reputation, I was already expecting it to be good, and it exceeded those expectations. Enchiladas? Very good. Tortas? Excellent. Quesadillas? Superb. Rice, beans, housemade salsas all terrific. Come give this place a try; it s exactly the kind of place we need to thrive here in Allen.

Well... firstly Im not from the Dallas area, Im from El Paso, Texas so its been a struggle to find a place that reminds us from home but omg this place is AMAZING, the tostadas are fresh like Im saying freshly made in house! The salsa Verde is to die for! The enchiladas verdes, torta de pastor, tacos de tripita y de bistek were soooo good, well definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu! Ive been to a ton of taco shops and the thing that stands out here is their green sauce. It alone is enough to keep me coming back. I ordered the fajita, bistek, and pastor. All were pretty good. Looking forward to going back and trying the rest.

Extremely good food ? Ask for the Huevos Rancheros. Instead of a classic plate of easy-over eggs with a layer of hopefully scrumptious salsa, I got scrambled eggs with I guess cilantro and still-frozen cheese + no salsa. When I complain, Im told (in Spanish) this is the way we make Huevos Rancheros here, Senor. Complaint #1: Very poor value, even at these reasonable prices. Complaint #2: This chef would be laughed out of my Mexicana Grandmas kitchen.

Today our office ordered from here for lunch. One of our employees suggested it, and it was a hit. The chips taste homemade, and the queso was tasty and creamy. The 2 salsas had delicious flavor. Creamy green was not too spicy, and then the red was yummy fire. We had street tacos, pastor and fajita. The borracho beans came with chicharron on top and were so full of flavor. They gave us a side of grilled jalepenos and onions which was a nice treat. Great prices too for the amount of food we got. I called and talked to someone named Juan who was so very nice and confirmed that they do breakfast all day. I am excited to have a great little place to grab food from quickly on the way home for my family of 6. We will definitely be back! :)

This taqueria is so good! It was so nice having comfort food in Allen. The food was piping hot with freshness, very clean and sanitary, and theyre bilinguals just in case anyone gets nervous in Spanish establishments. I would definitely recommend and come again!
