Have been there twice while passing thru the area, and the food has been phenomenal both times. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Buddy) on our most recent visit. After chatting a bit, we convinced him to play his accordion for us. What an incredibly special experience being hosted by a fascinating gentleman.

When you re here, you re family.. what a warm and inviting home to have dinner in. The entire team treated my party and myself with Hospitality and Love. Thats right, I said it- Love. The food was made with love, I could taste it. The atmosphere is so inviting we didn t want to leave. The food is phenomenal- this chef has decades of training and experience and it shows on the dinner table. I can t wait to bring my family to this spot when they come to visit for the holidays. 10/10 would recommend d to a friend!

Wouldnt know how good the food is. We had reservations for our Anniversary/Valentines Day, We were not greeted for 15 minutes, finally sat, and no waitrer/waitress for another 20 minutes at least. Not even greeted. No water, no anything! We left and went elsewhere (downtown Mckinney), and had an exceptional experience and celebrated. Total waste of time and awful experience!! We will never be back or recommend it to anyone! I cant believe the number of good reviews. This was the most awful experience we have ever had at a restaurant.

Such a cozy place for dinner with friends! Heard it has amazing rotisserie chicken, and it was great! We loved the chicken and everything we ordered - thanks to our waiter who made awesome recommendations. I had made a reservation but when we arrived the host I believe made an error and put us at another patrons table and then the owner came over to us and said why did we only have 2 people and I said we only had 2 people from the get go and he appeared rather gruff as he said it. It was difficult to find at night because its located on a residential side-street. Parking is cramped. Waiter was grouchy and very unpleasant. He shook his finger in my face. Food was OK. Nothing special. I asked for salad with dressing on the side. The salad came with lots of salad dressing with an additional little bottle on the side. Several her guests at the table seemedto enjoy the chicken option. Vegetarian options: Very limited. Parking: Small parking area. Lot divided into two sections. Walkway bricks created uneven surfaces. Wheelchair accessibility: My friend who uses a walker had a very difficult time going in on the uneven brick surfaceThen we saw the ramp on the opposite side of the parking lots.

It s been 2-3years since I was last here. They are still as good. Had the hummus, dolmas, tabbouleh salad w salmon, lentil soup, which, of course, came with their pita bread. There were two of us. Of course this is enough for two or three meals apiece for us, but this type of food becomes great leftovers. The only thing I would saying needs to be tweaked is there to tzatziki sauce. It still tasted too much like greek yogurt and not enough like tzatziki.

Service was extremely slow. The initial wait was over 10 mins before the server appeared to take our orders. We ordered kebab plates and falafel. The kebabs came with rice and no other condiments and were extremely dry. The falafels were okay but not worth the price. Finally we ordered turkish coffee only to find out that it appeared to be just regular brewed coffee with no hint of the richness or thickness that is so unique to turkish coffee. If you want to pay a high price for lack lustre ambience and average food you may give it a try.

If you are a minority, BEWARE of this place. My wife and I went for a date night and once seated, nobody looked at us, said hi, took our drink orders, nothing. We saw multiple people come in and get immediate service upon being seated. We finally just left because we were so shocked at the disregard for us. We will never be back and want to warn others. The food is quite tasty. I would give it a 4. But the reason I give it a 1 is cos the terrible service we got. The senior gentlemen that was serving us was very rude. The hummus was good but a small portion for $10. The pita was really chewy, it was really difficult to eat so I didnt eat it. The gyro was good but had to peel off a layer of tortilla; it was hard to eat as well. The rice was cooked and seasoned well. The baklava was sweet and crunchy!

Was very excited to try this place after reading all those good reviews. Not sure what are these people thinking saying the food is amazing here. We ordered dolmas, baba, fatoush salad, half chicken, beef kabab and the soup. Honestly only chicken was kind of ok. Everything else so bland, no Lebanese spices at all. We ve had a lot of Lebanese food and honestly never as bad as this. The service was good and atmosphere is like sitting in somebody s house. Also they charge $3 a person cork fee.

Divine. A taste of Lebanon and all the things we miss about its cuisine when living in that part of the world once upon a time. Hedarys is a secret hidden gem in a quiet and unassuming place in Allen. The pita flatbreads are freshly baked accompanied with a flavoursome olive oil infused with Zataar herbs. Try the Baba Ganoosh, Humus to start with. I loved my Sujouk with Faatoush salad. My husband had the Kafta while my toddlers each had a chicken Shish kebab that my 4 year old was still raving on about all the way home! The food was made with love. It was not fussy, they used healthy ingredients and fresh produce. The most authentic meal my husband and i have had since we moved here. Thank you Hedarys!

Several years ago I worked in Fort Worth, at least once a week, we ate at Hedary s on Camp Bowie, and loved it. That location closed over 10 years ago, and I have tried several restaurants that serve Mediterranean food, but have been disappointed at each restaurant! On a fluke, I Googled Hedary s and was delighted to see that one of Mr Hedary s sons has opened a restaurant in Allen, TX. It would take us an hour to get there, but we went for it, and couldn t have been happier! This restaurant is unbelievable! It s in an old house, so there are tables in at least 3 different rooms (they probably have more) but I only saw 3). There were 6 of us and we made our reservation for 5:00, and so glad we did, they filled up quickly. We were all seated together in a front room. There was another table that would seat 4 more in that room. We loved the ambiance, we had the feeling of dining with the Hedary s in their home!! We also loved that we could actually carry on a conversation with everyone at our table without shouting! We ordered just about everything on the menu! We had lamb, beef, and chicken dishes, all cooked to perfection! I highly recommend the Mezzo plate to get a sample of just about everything on the menu! It s just a small tasting, not a meal. We had incredible service, incredible food, incredible ambiance ..and I ve said nothing about walking past Hedary s vegetable garden on the way in, or the wonderful patio .

Mixed kebab consisted of over cooked small kebabs. Service was terrible. A couple of kids who were more interested in clearing the table actually attending to the customers. We will not be going back.

The ambience and service at this place definitely scores higher than the food imo. The baba ganoush was good. The signature fish Frarej was a little sour. So was the Tabouli salad. Although everything tasted fresh. Ill surely visit again. Maybe try falafels and hummus this time.

I love this place so much which is nestled in the heart of Allen downtown in a charming quaint Victorian house . The food is absolutely delicious and the falafel entree is the best I have ever had . The hot pitas with hummus are delectable . Mr . Buddy who runs the restaurant is such a kind loving person and always is warm and welcoming . I can t say enough great things about Hedarys ! You should go and check it out!

Our $100 delivery order was missing $30 worth of food. The rest of the order had missing or wrong sides. Kids didnt get their fries and adults didnt get their appetizers. Instead, we just got a bunch of rice. I tried calling them but nobody picked up the phone. You cant treat to-go orders same way you do dine-in because once order is delivered it cant be fixed or sent back to the kitchen. I understand - mistakes happen, but getting half of the order wrong? How does that happen? How do you pack a $100 order into one small bag and go - yup, that looks about right! Or do you just not care?

Best place for authentic homemade Lebanese cuisine! The atmosphere is like your at someone s home and the family is cooking a delicious home cooked meal just for you! Hedarys never disappointments because their food is incredible and their service is excellent. We feel George and his staff are friendly, fun, and attentive toward us customers. My wife taught waiter & waitress traing for the Texas Restaurant Assn, where she toured the state to work with restaurant owners who were members of the TRA. I mention this because my wife knows when a restaurant has all the qualities I have mentioned here. Hedarys has it all. We plan on returning again & again. Thank you, Forrest & Cindy Ward

WORST SERVICE EVER GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Horrible service and ridiculous wait. Ordered from door dash and its been an hour and our 3 meals arent ready. They said theres an issue with their gyro plate and its going to still be awhile so I kindly asked if I could get something in its place so we didnt have to wait and the response was NO!.
