When I popped in shortly before close with one of my little guys, I ordered a green tea latte while he had a banana smoothie with mango popping pearls. Each of them was quite a treat while we dove into our books for a few minutes and soaked on the ambiance, making sure not to overstay our welcome.

Were still here and I am compelled to write a review about this fantastic place. I am in a state of bliss post-chocolate cream cronut. This is really how pastry should be. This is the real deal. Between both of us, we tried a chocolate cream cronut, a strawberry cream croffle, an iced hazelnut latte, and an iced Thai tea with tapioca boba. Outstanding, absolutely outstanding. The service we received was pleasant. The vibe in here is an eclectic mix of Rocky mountain lodge and coffee house. Its giving you really need to check Caffe Promenade out ASAP. 10/10 will definitely visit again. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps and plenty of space for a wheelchair to pull up to a table.

Cafe Promenade has a special place in my heart. It was the first local coffee spot I found that was closest to my residence that I tried after moving to Allen. The owners are cool and down to earth. I go there mainly for their coffee but occasionally grab a bite or two, to go. My personal favorite coffee beverage is their Dalgona Candy Latte, with 2 extra shots (3 total). Their breakfast sandwich always hit the spot, I usually order the croissant breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and American cheese. Their bulgogi sandwich is the star of the show, but only available after 10AM and only on weekdays. Cafe Promenade has a rewards program, but I think its fairly weak. You get $1.00 off your order after every 10th drink, lol. They need to revamp their rewards program to the likes of Dutch Bros or Starbucks.

The were open early and thats always a plus. I was here for about three hours starting from just after 6:00 and using Caffe Promenade as my first office of the day. A great coffee and a delicious donut as I powered away at the keyboard. The place is comfortable, a little eclectic and quite busy with people coming and going to get their coffee in the morning. The drive through was busy the entire time I was here! Dietary restrictions: All sorts of allergens are present here. Parking: Easy parking for the Sprinter van. Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access.

I live one min walk from this store and has never been until now. Tried their Thai milk tea for starter, price is definitely high at 5.5 a small cup. I cannot believe how much they watered it down by adding excessive ice, and on top of the ice, the taste is the worst i have had anywhere. This place needs to learn how to make milk tea. I am glad i never came to this place in the past few years and will never come again.

We are from Arkansas and discovered this gem on google. Let me tell you, we ended up coming back several times. To be specific we went 3x within 24 hrs. Everything was absolutely incredible!! Loved the Thai Iced Tea w Tapioca. Perfectly sweetened for my family (not as sweet as your usual) Had green tea with tropical flavor options for my younger son. I love that the mochi donuts are not greasy or overly sweet. Matcha is my favorite, not very sweet at all, think of a cruller. If youre looking for a sweeter option, the chocolate covered or vanilla were my boys faves.

You have to try the chai here; its got just the right amount of spicy kick contracting the sweet warmth. I really like all the food, too! Mochi donuts, cookies, baked goods, chicken salad, and everything else on the menu is, looks, or sounds good! The vibe is also super awesome. Theres also a drive-thru in case you are in a hurry. I heard about this place from a family member and I was very excited to try it out. I went to the drive-thru, unsure of what I wanted to get. The lady there was super nice and helped me as I decided what I wanted. I got mochi donuts, croffle, and iced coffee. The mochi donuts and croffle were amazing but the coffee tasted absolutely disgusting. The water kept separating from the drink and it tasted really bad. I had to throw it out. Overall, everything was amazing except for the coffee! I would still recommend to go there for everything else.

If you re looking for good craft coffee this is not the place. Shots were not pulled for an iced Americano but rather poured from a bottle of premade espresso. Charged extra to have almond milk added. They added less than an ounce and then had to ask two more times and each time they added just a bit more. Never got enough to turn the drink a light tan. Stingy won t earn new customers. $12 out the door. Mediocre and bitter. Place itself had an ok vibe.

As much as I hoped otherwise, its a suburban strip mall coffee shop. Just passing through town and in need of coffee, its always a roll of the dice. Coffee isnt terrible, but not properly trained baristas, cheap cups, cheap sugar... All the hallmarks of the difference between a place for serious coffee ppl and another Starbucks-lite. I usually come here for their mochi donuts and croffle. Today I decided to do drive thru and also get a breakfast sandwich. And to my surprise, the croissant was so tiny! Just look at the photo and compare the size of the egg with the croissant. I also think they can do a better job with the take-out/drive thru packaging. Went in this morning before a meeting. Got a strawberry cream cheese croffle and a dalgona latte The croffle was delicious. Lowkey reminded me of a Liege waffle because of the sweet sort of crust around it The dalgona latte was absolutely delicious. You can either get it with coffee, or without. I don t particularly like coffee, but my meeting was going to be crazy boring so I went with that :) at first it s just a normal latte, but as the dalgona on top melts in it s fantastic. I genuinely considered walking back in and asking for more dalgona. Where do you even get dalgona pre-made around here? I feel like i m going to have to start paying the employees here under the table to just buy bags of it on its own.

The best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere! The murals and design was very creative. Thought it would be a great place for a business meeting, but that was not the case. The people working there were so loud talking to each other when taking drive thru orders etc. that we could hardly carry on a conversation because they were so loud. We tried the Croffles and they were okay, but nothing I would go back for again and I certainly would not go back for a business meeting. Maybe it was just a fluke that day, but was disappointed . My family and I have been patrons of Caffe Promenade ever since we came to Allen years ago. They always had the best donuts and kolaches, hands down. Today I found out that they have stop selling donuts, and started selling Croffles. After trying a couple, they should change the name of these things to Awfuls. This is a huge step down for a place I held in such high regard. Its a shame I will never be going back, this used to be such a terrific place. Caffe Promenade will not be able to stay in business selling inferior products, I hope a better donut shop takes its place soon.

Updating this review Aug 2021. They no longer serve donuts. Or cinnamon rolls. They now offer mochi style donuts, which are rubbery and just not what I (or any donut lover) is looking for. Previously their cake donuts, glazed and chocolate, and cinnamon rolls were fantastic here. They were so tasty that they would regularly sell out before close. Why would you stop serving that? Why you wouldnt try to slowly integrate these newer items in with your bestsellers instead of just immediately alienating your customer base? This is such a bad move... the current selection was limited and unappetizing. Then you find out its just the same generic thing they serve as Continental Breakfast at Motels. Its complimentary at motels but here two iced coffees and two muffins will set you back 15 dollars! Im so bummed, I would go out of my way to get breakfast items here... but now there is no such incentive. Review From 2020 - The iced vanilla latte and cinnamon roll were absolutely delicious. Unique flavors and it wasnt the usual donut shop ingredients. Friendly, upbeat service. Drive-thru is a great concept. Highly recommend!

The coffee and food there is fine, but the owner tried to hire me for 2 weeks of unpaid training and said if I lasted 6 months I would be reimbursed for that time. Like, seriously? That is not right. It was a few years ago, so I hope they change, but if not, that is truly evil.

Just walking up to this coffee house you get the feeling that youre not welcome. Signs all over the door stating what is NOT allowed and not a single sign saying come on in. The owners should re-evaluate their porch appeal. No loitering and no public restrooms at coffee house? You might as well be a coffee shack for drive-through only.

Favorite cafe ever! Best donuts ever! Their icings are so yummy and I don t think I would think to say that about another donut shop. But the strawberry and chocolate ones are my FAV! Okay but mostly, their hot chocolate is THE BEST EVER! You have to try it Blended! Or more commonly called Frozen Hot Chocolate! I have never tried a hot chocolate recipe that is like this one! They better never close cause I need this in my life. I also love their Peach or Mango Snows in the summer! They also have yummy cake and cheesecake (when available). The inside is BEAUTIFUL. This place is amazing. They have the best donuts ever: the bread is fluffy and dense, not overcooked or greasy with lots of air pockets. The chocolate is rich and delicious, and the cream filling in the chocolate eclair is smooth and perfect. (Have I encouraged you to get a donut yet? ;)) Seriously, this is hands down the best donut shop around, and I have tried several. The ambiance is also warm and inviting. The staff is always pleasant, and it is very clean. They are also taking very good measures during this trying time: The staff wear masks, and their drive-thru window remains open for orders. They also have a tray they use to extend food to you from the window for no touch acceptance. I can clearly see that Caffe Promenade is run be people who truly care, not only about the quality of their donuts and beverages, but also for the safety of their staff and their customers.

Large americano had 4 shots but I couldn t taste any coffee. It didn t have any Crema. I asked barista to remake my americano but put half filled water and now I can taste the coffee and it has Crema. If I go back, I d definitely ask for large americano with extra 2 shot of espresso and make sure the cup is only half filled.

Absolutely LOVE this place! My favorite drink is the hot chocolate with Caramel syrup. If you let them know you don t want it super hot they can make it the perfect temperature for you to enjoy immediately rather than waiting for it to cool down. They have pretty much everything Starbucks has but shorter lines and nice decor! I like to come here when I want to catch up with friends but not be in a loud crowded place like Starbucks. I have been coming here for years! I would come hang out here when I was in college trying to study or take a test and when I wanted to just hang out with a couple friends! They have free WiFi, comfy chairs and tables with plenty of laptop/book/paperwork space. They sell muffins, croissants and kolaches too. Donuts, coffee and breakfast items galore!
