They have the best breakfast tacos! Unfortunately, drive through wait times are notoriously long when you order food items. Staff is friendly, but be prepared for a long wait. There are taco restaurants that turn out food faster, so Im not sure if its a lack of prep in their process or if they are making tacos from scratch. Rustys tacos sells similar bacon breakfast tacos and they are very efficient with turn time. Id go more often if they could improve their wait times.

This place is great, the coffee is really good, the customer service is amazing. All of the employees are super nice. The atmosphere is perfect, good seating and furniture, smells good, and they play good music. They go out of their way to take care of customers. I spilled my coffee and they helped me clean it up and made me a new coffee for free :).

Armor Coffee Co. is a fantastic spot with great drinks and food! The serving staff is lovely, and the aesthetics are amazing. There are comfy couches, small tables, booths, and a large community table. It s the perfect place to grab lunch and get some work done in a cozy, welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

I love watching Jenn so I just had to make time to stop by the coffee shop while in the area! And the street it is on is appropriately named. I order an iced chai latte and the cured bacon taco. Neither one disappointed nor did the prices! The latte was a little sweet for me but it tasted wonderful. The taco was absolutely amazing. One little taco filled me up for a few hours. I could have sworn I heard her voice while I was there but never looked around. I would have totally fangirled though. Next time I have time to stop, I will hit up the brewery.

I ve been coming to Armor coffee for almost 2-3 years now and I usually get my coffee atleast 1-2 a week and I ve never had such a disappointing experience until today. The girl who took my order at the drive thru was super rude, first of all no greeting, in fact she didn t say a single word while taking my payment and when she handed my coffee I said Thankyou to her, she didn t say a single word but instead she slammed the window on me. If you hate working customer service so much then why bother. She ruined my whole day. I just hope next time I get my coffee from here she s not there!!

I ve been here 6 times because I tried to support a local business and customer service for all 6 was 0/10. All to go Vietnamese inspired coffee which is ok. I just need the caffeine. The girls behind the counter are not efficient and it looks like it hurts when they smile. 4 out of the 6 time I had to ask after 10min if my coffee is coming. The last stray was today when I went there after church to get coffee and the cashier forgot to place a sticker on the cup for my coffee. After sitting there for 15min I asked one of the girls if my coffee is coming out, she looked at me like I killed her dog. I just walked out and gave them free $7 which is ok because I m never coming back and I m telling all my friends to stop going there. Just go to Starbucks or dunkin and get your coffee because even if they don t smile at you, you will be guaranteed your coffee in under 5min.

I came in this afternoon to get some coffee and get some work done inside. I was there for about two and a half hours, and it seemed to be quite busy. The girl behind the counter who took my order seemed very curt, and just seemed to wonder off into the back after I paid. it seemed like there was only one other girl who was actually working to make all of the drinks (both for inside and the drive through), so it took longer than expected to get my drink. that being said, my drink was wonderful!

Coffee was very good as well as breakfast tacos. However, the demeanor and customer service I experienced from the young woman taking my order was not. She came off very stand offish for some reason. I have no idea why as I was polite and just asked simple questions I.e. How many shots are in y all s americano , etc. She avoided eye I contact and was very short with her replies. I noticed she was very kind to the people who ordered before me so I didn t understand. I kept being kind and saying thank you, yes ma am, etc. I obviously didn t leave a tip because why should I if I m being spoken to like that, she flipped the device around and rolled her eyes when she saw that I didn t leave one. I wasn t aware they could see that or looked at that, but she also did not say thank you , have a good day or anything when I completed my order. Then as I waited on my order I noticed the pattern. Anytime a woman ordered she was smiling and helpful, and to all men she was dismissive. I don t know this young ladies story, and there could be something to it, which is understandable. However, I am not sure why she is working as the first face representing the company by taking orders. I will most likely try again since I really enjoyed the coffee and general atmosphere, but this is an issue in my mind and hopefully my experience is different next time.

Great Sunday Coffee stop. Pretzel with cheese dip is good if your in the mood. Sometimes grab the red velvet cake pop. They introduced us to the Butter beer latte. A lot better than the other non coffee version. Learned to make at home with caramel and butter toffee syrup but it is always great to get the original creation from Armor. Plus they have a veteran discount.

Drinks and food are both great, and service is wonderful! The shop itself is small, so better for a meeting with friends vs. working alone from a coffeeshop like I do. If you are sensitive to smells, note that you can smell the cigar shop next door; I dont see this mentioned in other reviews so it could very well be a me thing, and using the drive-through, getting your order to go, or using the outdoor seating resolves this AND gets you a good drink and snack.

2024: A few visits later, I have an update. I have taken a few out of towners here for coffee and they felt it was one of the few places around town to get a good cup of coffee. We all agreed that it s not for the type of person who likes to dress up their coffee into something else but for those that want coffee and a flavorful one. 2022: I made a quick visit even though it s out of the way and felt a basic small coffee is average. $3 and not in my neighborhood won t get me to repeat. It would take me less total time to go there than Starbucks nearby. It looks like a great place to hang out at though. Might change to four stars bc of environment.

This place is in a league of its own. It s underground in its own special way. Like it s consistently busy whenever I go in, but people just don t talk about it very much (needs more hype for sureeee). I recently had the pleasure of visiting this coffee shop and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The coffee was exceptional - rich, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. Ive always enjoyed my visits to Armor. For a while, there was a regular rotation of new employees, which created some inconsistency in quality. However, Hannah, who I remember as one of the new staffers, has developed well into her leadership role, bringing together a great crew. In particular, it is always a pleasure to see Ashley C behind the counter when I visit. Her cheerful smile is warm and welcoming, and her knowledge of the menu is unmatched. When I see Ashley C working, I know I will have a great cup of coffee, served promptly, along with whatever pastry I choose for the day. Great job to Hannah for bringing Ashley C onto the team. I have been coming here for a couple years now, and I have to say this is my favorite coffee shop. First off, lets talk about the AMAZING staff. They are truly super stars and always give 10/10 customer service. I have never had a bad interaction, always leave with a smile, and my son loves to chit chat when they have time. Secondly, the food is really good and they have a bit of everything. I love the pesto sauce they use for the egg bites and egg white sandwich, when I really have a sweet tooth the waffles hit every time (the seasonal flavors are always so good!), and the pastries always taste fresh. Of course, we cant forget the coffee. I love their seasonal line ups, I feel like they are well thought out and fitting for the season. I enjoy that the drinks are never too sweet, it doesnt feel like Im drinking a sugar bomb but they still have really good flavor. Bonus points: If you are a mom and dine in, they have coloring pages and crayons, AND if you are lucky they play Bluey on the TV. Overall, if you are looking for a coffee shop that hits all the marks, Armor Coffee is the place to be.

I have always enjoyed armor coffee and their niche items over big chains. My last experience has forever lost me as a customer. Management is childish and unprofessional. I expressed to the manager on shift I believe Megan was her name who called her self the gm which I don t believe is true. When paying for my order at the window the girl handed the machine back and said I had to do a signature. The way she had it tilted I only saw the signature line and she pulled it back quickly and touched buttons on the machine. I was given no receipt. When I saw the total go through on my phone I noticed it was higher than the price of my items. I called in later and spoke to the manager who did not once apologize and instead was extremely rude and defensive. And made the remark in a smart tone okay to my concerns. I told her that was rude and terrible customer service for a manager to have that tone even if the machines auto add tip it s the way she went about handling the call that has lost my business. Again no apology, rudeness, and and no attempt to correct the situation. The cashier earlier claimed to refund the tip which was not as of now. And I don t mind tipping what I do mind is shady practices, bad management, and poor customer service. Especially as some one who frequents there. And for this particular order we were in line a very long time at the window waiting and they weren t busy they were talking. The coffee was not good. I asked for Carmel and white chocolate to be added to my latte which I m sure they did not. They can have the tip but they lost the customer.

We were visiting family so we thought we d try it. In short, we found the food quality and taste doesn t match the coffee. The tiramisu and butter cookie coffees were amazing. The black coffee was good-but-not-great. The Belgian waffles were also good-but-not-great. The staff and the atmosphere were excellent so that also helped make up for the meh food. If you re passing through or live near Allen, this is a great place for FLAVORED coffee drinks. Hands down fantastic drinks. If you get food, it s because you re there and hungry enough to try it out. The quality of the food was good but, again, it was just fine. I d argue the drinks are better than Starbucks if for no other reason, because they re different. If you come for a drink, you won t leave upset. Really great little spot. And props to the veteran ownership. Didn t ask if they do military discount but they might. Worth asking!

Coffee is definitely more on the acidic side. I got a vanilla latte. Didn t taste any vanilla. Unfortunately I was super disappointed by their fresh baked muffins. After visiting this establishment on a monthly basis for about a year for their delicious coffee, I finally decided to give their food a try. The patty tasted like it was overloaded with salt and preservatives, and the egg was so overcooked it was brown. I love this place for their coffee, and love that it has a drive-thru and food menu, but neither my husband nor I could take more than a few bites of our sandwiches. It was borderline inedible. For reference, I dont have health issues (no high blood pressure, diabetes, or CAD), but felt like after I took a couple of bites, I might have to go get my blood pressure checked because of all the salt.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Texas, and I lived in Austin for two years. (Austin coffee is overrated which is surprising given the amount of hipsters in the town.) Everything is good at Armor and the people are friendly. Meeting room reservation is helpful, too. Beats working out of a co-working space. Delicious food. As a former sailor I like supporting veteran establishments, even if theyre owned by an army guy.

I ve lived in several cities across DFW and been an absolute caffeine addict the entire time. I ve tried every coffee shop under the sun 100 times over hoping for good food, good coffee and rarely lucky enough to find both. But dear god.. I just had Armor for the first time and I am shook. I mean seriously I m sitting here wondering how this place is making money selling food that literally tastes like it was made on the grill 30 seconds ago for a price lower than the Starbucks microwave food. I tried three different food items that all tasted restaurant grade and their signature cookie somethin late that was sweet and strong and I mean it when I say this place is 10/10. I usually judge a place on their black coffee or their nitro brew so I ll have to see how they measure up there but I guarantee you will not find better taste/price food at another coffee shop in DFW, don t even waste your time. Keep doin what you re doin, Armor.

When you first walk in you think your walking in to high quality coffee shop the tables, Mercedes, everything looks super nice but instead it reflects the saying of dont juge a book by its cover. I ordered a latte and cappuccino. I love coffee in every form pour over, Expresso, latte, black or with milk, you name it. the one thing I cant stand is if the roast is bad and this roast was awful burnt, bitter, so low quality. It tastes like it came straight from Starbucks most burnt beans. They also had one of those new steamer that was completely hands off it takes the creative out of the bristas. I can say there employees where polite though. Furthermore Im just disappointed in the coffee. If you guys can fix your supply chain and quality issues I would be inclined to come back and try it again

I ordered a pick up order which included a small Tropical Smoothie and a Vegetarian breakfast in a bowl! Both were AMAZInG (even though my eggs seemed a tad bit watery). I loved the pickled onions, and the toasted cheese was a new experience for me. My order was ready before the time stated and it was easy to pick up through the drive thru. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian taco, breakfast bowl, protein energy balls and more Parking: Free parking around and theres a parking garage behind the location. There is a drive through as well.

I love this place. However, I have used the drive through twice now and been handed the wrong coffee both times. I would suggest the person working the window clarify by repeating the order back. I did not check the slip either time and was well down the road before I realized my gingerbread latte with oat milk was a peppermint latte with whole milk

I had a honey vanilla oat milk latte. It was overpowered by the milk but it was drinkable. I just didn t taste any of the flavors they said they would put in it. I also got a blueberry scone. Which the scone wasn t bad, definitely less dry than most. The reason I m giving this a 2 though is because of the service. It took 22 minutes to get my drink. This is even longer than it takes me to make my own lattes at home and tastes about the same. I am a bit bummed because i go out for a coffee because it usually tastes better and is faster than me doing it at home. My expectations were professional barista but this seemed more like a restaurant that happened to serve coffee. Unfortunately this may be the best coffee in this area outside of Starbucks which sounds like a great opening for a competitor to come in and improve quality. I literally loved the atmosphere and went at 7 pm after a hectic day wanted to enjoy my coffee latte and asked in a cup but she said we wont serve after 7 . What is that , wont they serve the things the same till the shop closes. I am a small influencer wanted to take some cool pictures of the latte and post them in my insta and post a good review but It really made me regret coming here giving a tip for what i didnt like. Im so glad I found this place !!! Delicious coffee ! Beautiful setting and convenient location. Ohhh and it has a drive through !!! Yessss! I tried the cortado and didn t disappoint also took a seasonal one to go already forgot the name : ( lol but that s me it was some pecan flavor and it wasn t sweet but full of flavor you taste the coffee not the sweetener and I loved that!!! I ll be coming more often to try their stuff also I saw some cool merch but didn t have proper time to see it closely, I will next time ! They have pastries as well. Let me first state that Armor Coffee definitely has good prices. I write this review pursuing my mission to get baristas and owners to understand the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. Armor is joined by about 90% of places that offer both on their menu - they might as well take cappuccino off the menu. A cappuccino is 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, and 1/3 foamed milk. I understand there is a remake policy here at Armor Coffee, but what s the point? The barista either hasn t been trained how to make foam or doesn t take pride in their ability to do so.

I love Armor! I wish they d expand towards me. Their food from the menu is amazing and drink flavors rock. Occasional inconsistencies in how drinks taste but still love them. If you re looking for a place to work or meet a friend the atmosphere is great, but not quiet if you have meetings. Almost always I find room to sit, but the place is regularly busy.

Food and coffee were very good. However, the service was well below par. I purchased coffee in my own Yeti cup and ordered breakfast tacos. They brought my coffee to the private room, but later just dropped the food on the counter up front and said they called my name. No way to hear anything from private rooms and they knew I was in private room because thats where they brought coffee. I finally checked on food after about 15-20 minutes and found it on the counter - cold. I told them to keep it. Someone later brought replacement food. It would have been understandable if I was sitting in the main area and could hear my name called or if they were busy. But seeing staff just standing around and not caring that no one picked up the cold food and not investigating was a sad commentary on the quality of the staff. Very disappointing - especially since I liked what I was finally served and the coffee was good.

Great drip coffee, the breakfast sandwich seemed to be made fresh, it was delicious! The service was great, prices were amazing and they give military discounts.
