Im a Panera Bread connoisseur and this Allen location is just meh. Food qualitys average. Our cookie & tea orders were fine. What I dont care for at all is the physical layout and general atmosphere of this location. Its dark & kinda dank. Seems like an older location with poor ventilation. It does have a unique layout with a 1.5-storey. It has an enclosed elevator for those with disabilities, which likely adds to the small & crowded feel this location has. The outlets need updating & expanded. Customer service is meh. Friendly enough but lacking the general eager friendliness of other Paneras like the 1 in Murphy TX.

This location is inconvenient. There isnt anything rapid about rapid pickup as it is called. There is no convenient parking, so you have to search for parking. You cant just run in. This is especially inconvenient if you have children with you. It would be ideal if this location could reserve a parking spot right out front. Also, more order was delayed 7 mins beyond the expected time. Not a huge problem though, and I do appreciate that the app notifies you of the delay.

Let s start with the good. Georgia, the lovely lady at the front counter helping me improvise. She was great. The bagels, the ones I had to settle for, fresh as expected at Panera. Now for the bad. I placed a 2 dozen bagel rapid pick up online order the day before. The next morning, enroute to the location, I received my order ready confirmation, I walked in only to be told 75% of my bagels were not even baked, and that Georgia just got my order ticket. Why did I get my order ready confirmation? Clearly Panera has a flaw in their ordering process. I discussed the matter with the manager, Mike, all I got was an apology with an excuse that their bagels were sold out as soon as they opened. Why did they let their bagels sell out when they had pending orders waiting from the night before??!! Panera s rapid order definitely does not appear to be reliable, other customers were also experiencing similar issues while I was there, if not with bagels, then with fruit cups. Will consider Einstein Bagels next time, sorry Panera. Very poor customer experience.

I keep trying Panerai bread. It is just not my Forte. I think their food tastes bad. Th Flavorless. Even the vegetables dont taste like they do not have minerals in them to me. Just bland all the way around. I go because I love the people who want to go there and I keep trying something new. Service is always terrible. But it is clean and family friendly which is why it gets five stars for atmosphere. I try to be fair! If you are a Panera Bread fan I mean no offense.

Horrible food, horrible place, horrible customer service! If I could give them a ZERO stars I would! Every single time we go there, they are out of their ingredients for the food we order, they always get our orders wrong and it tastes disgusting! On top of that, when Ive specifically ask for a pick too with a salad and soup, they always give me a full baguette sandwiche with a awful green mustard on it as my meal! Corporate food chains are going nuts with portion / price ratio. I do not recommend anyone to eat here and please dont support this kind of businesses. We stayed at the hotel in the area . I needed to order couple of meals for my kids, who are 3.5 and 1.5 I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with kids meal portion size. Chiken soup and an small apple is 7.30$ before tax. The cup was so so small it wasnt even enough to feed my 1.5 years old ! 6 spoons of broth and 3 noodles. Im not joking. It was more like a doll portion not a human child portion. Thankfully I ordered something from adult menu for my daughter, otherwise they wouldnt have anything too eat. Adult portions are extremely small as well. Its already not even funny. I paid for an idea of a meal not an actual meal.

Fast and friendly service, fresh food at fair prices. Parking here isnt too bad, and when the kiosk is working, you can be in and out pretty quickly. Highlight is the sip club, which lets you get unlimited coffee, lemonade, and fountain drinks for just a few dollars a month. Sign up for the trial, at least. Its cool. And on Tuesdays, they have a deal where you get something like 13 bagels for 10 bucks. It includes cream cheese spread, so you can bring the hero and bring in breakfast for your office. Or job site. Or class? You get the idea. Anyway, Panera is pretty good. This maybe controversial, but I like it better than Subway.

Do not order delivery at Allen location. My order got screwed up twice on delivery. When I called to complain my order was lost, Panera blamed me. Saying I picked Doordash. I picked delivery. We were not happy with our order through Door dash. The quality was not as it usually is (which is great). I spoke with a wonderful manager that actually listened to the issue. Probably the highest amount of money I ve ever spent on low quality food. $11.59 for a chicken sandwich that I found out is the sizing of a normal half-sandwich. Asked an employee about the sizing and that s what she told me. Got a cookie for $2.89 that was hard as a rock. It legitimately took effort to bite into the thing. I was advised I could warm it up in a microwave to see if that softened it. If you want to spend too much money on small portions and bakery items that are hard as a rock, this is the spot for you.

We were grabbing coffee but it ran out so I asked the employees at the cashier if there was any more coffee. One girl immediately left to find coffee while this tall guy just stared at me like I was giving him a 20 item order. I got here at 8:30 and had multiple employees tell me that its to-go only and they just stood around the back joking and left the dining area a wreck with tons of trash and dirty floors. I dont understand why they shut the dining room down so early, if it isnt to get it cleaned faster and get the employees out the door at 9.

The burger was not as advertised via image and was literally just chicken and they didn t originally put the buffalo sauce The pizza bacon was burnt and lacked taste. The cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs were the only kicks

Went there to get a bagel and coffee from the kiosk, kiosk said they were out of all bagels so I went up to the counter and they did have some, so I ordered from there. Got my coffee, they didnt have any lids, so I had to ask them. Got my bagel and they also forgot to give me the butter that i asked for, but I had left by that time so I didnt care. Just a strange experience from this place today, and they didnt seem that busy either.

This is great location surrounded by many stores. The soups are excellent and their bread bowl is unique. The pick 2 combo has many options and allows mix-and-match of soups, salads and sandwiches. Our most recent trip was specifically for their French Onion Soup and it was wonderful. A great meal for a cold day.

2 girls who i saw at the counter when i walked in i asked her one questions about the menu and she clocked out and ran away from me, then the next girl i asked a question about a sandwich and my boyfriend was looking at her and she asked him what he was staring at in a very rude way and then ran off as well? 3rd girl was sweet, but food was over priced and not that good.

Its one of favorite restaurant for sandwiches and soups. My personal favorite is French Onion Soup and Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt. There other sandwiches are good too, also Ten Vegetables soup is good as well ! This place has escalator in dining for accessibility between floors!

Website doesn t work most of the time and no one helps you inside. You have to jump through hurdles just to place an order and the food is wrong half the time. The 2 stars is for good delivery via DoorDash. Seems this location is geared more towards a drive thru experience rather then in person interaction so why not just make it that?

1 star is being gracious. It took 45mins for my order just to be wrong. I understand low staffing but when the 2 managers are line cooks and the order is still messed up that s a problem. I ordered a Greek salad with imaginary olives and croutons. My chips also look like they ve been ashed on. The inside of the location looks like it hasn t been cleaned in weeks. This location needs Gordon Ramsay or to simply close.

Well for starters no one welcomes you when you walk in, actually no one ever addressed me at all. I decided to do the ordering on machine since no one was at front counter, I received a pager to let me know when food is ready. I waited about 15 min until pager went off turned my pager in and food still wasnt ready for about another 30 min. Worst service Ive ever had at a Panera need some of the cedar hill staff to come here and help out or train
