Tower burger is one of my all time favorite restaurants, which is why I m disappointed in the quality of the food today. I placed an online order and when I looked and tasted the food it was just disappointing. Tower melt bread wasn t even toasted, it was just plain white and patty lacked flavor, it didn t taste like anything. Fries tasted weird as well as If the oil hadn t been changed for a while. It s disappointing to see that the quality of the food has gone down.

String onion fries werent fresh, French fries not fresh, and they tasted as if they were microwave. I dont know whats going on. I felt like staff careless, the main entrance smells. It was not busy, staff couldnt refill ice, Ketchup, etc. Last but not least, we got a hidden hair surprise wrapped into an onion fries. We understand things happen but we couldnt enjoy our meals. Hopefully, next time, this place will get better.

The restaurant has great specials on Tuesday and Wednesday. The service sometimes isn t the greatest they need to hire more help. One time the gave our order to someone else that person took it home for leftovers. The it took another 45 minutes to get our food.

It is the first time I come with my family and of course I would return, the cashier is a very friendly young woman who explains the menu to you; You place your order and pay. The food looks quality... the vegetables, bread, meat... uffff the meat tastes delicious! The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Dietary restrictions: I cant eat bread and they served my burger in a bowl with a bed of lettuce. Delicious!!!

Tower burger used to be one of the best in the Valley. We went in today, never again. We got the last clean table in the restaurant. Except for a few tables with customers, the rest were unattended and not cleared off. When we left an hour later those tables still sat with trays and glasses. The disposal counter was also stacked high with dirty trays. The burgers were soooo salty and dried out from being overcooked. The fries were saturated with grease and soggy. When the cook rang the bell, the waitress was slow to deliver orders to customers. I wouldnt even give review categories even one star. Disgusting

This place USED to be a staple in our restaurant rotation, it was 5 stars across the board. My sister & I went a couple months ago, and they were out of wing sauces, ranch, lids for the cups, napkins, and tea. The food was good, but the service was TERRIBLE. I chalked it up to just some management issues, got over it. Today my brother, my daughter, and I went. The cashier was very friendly. No sweet tea again, she told us they werent able to brew anymore because they didnt have something, couldnt hear her. The food came, my burger was perfect. My brother got the Tower Burger and holy hell was that thing disgusting. The buns tasted the way paint varnish smells. He couldnt take more than 2 bites, so he went up to the counter to try to get ahold of one of the staff. No one acknowledged him. I could hear him saying Excuse me from the other side of the restaurant & the cook standing literally in front of the window did not even nod in his direction! I walked over, I had to bang on the counter so hed look up at me. I told him the issue. He repeated it to the cashier who was back there & another cook. The 2nd cook then walked towards me, looked at me, then looked at the cashier and said Find out what she wants so I told him I just wanted new buns for the burger. He blew me off, the cashier came out & finally the issue was resolved. The cooks told her that the reason it tasted bad is bc they used oil to toast the buns, but my burger was fine. Short story long, I need to find a new place to get a patty melt.

1/3 burger thinnest (why not have a smaller bun rather than stretch EVERYTHING out to fit a gargantuan bun?), driest piece of shoe leather I have ever tried to eat, fries were soggy & greasy, and what burns me up is NOT A SINGLE CLEAN TABLE in the whole place and they were not busy at all (2:30 in the afternoon). I cleaned my own table with an antibacterial wipe that I keep on hand and we were stuck to the nasty floor. I m attaching the front and back of the wipe I used to wipe the table. This place used to be clean, food used to be good and the ppl used to be nice. The folks working here don t care about anything. There can t be any management worth anything working here or they are completely unsupervised. This is going to be another sad statistic of a nice place that swirls down the drain. Parking: There is only 1 way in, every other door is an exit, so if you have to go back to your car for anything, you have to get WAY TOO CLOSE to any ppl in line to order.

Edit: This used to be one of our favorite places in the RGV, but I think we just had our last meal there. They used to have a $2 burger special on Tuesdays and .25 wings on Wednesdays, and we were known to hit both days for the great deal. They have raised their prices, which is understandable considering this economy, so I dont fault them for that. The service has always been a bit slow, but, again, with the specials, the staff is busy. Today, however, with very few customers in the place, we waited 44 minutes for two burgers and fries! I had to ask twice about our food, and when it finally came out, there was no explanation or even an apology offered for the wait. So disappointed in the service and the quality, and we probably wont be back. One more thing, the floor is so sticky that your shoes stick to it as you walk across it. There are a lot of really good burger places in the RGV. Add another to the list! The burgers are generous and tasty, and when you add fresh cut fries and a drink, you get a filling meal and, in my case, leftovers for later. They also serve wings with a number of different sauces, and I cant even tell you which sauce is my favorite! Each one was better than the last. This place is now on our to go to list whenever were in the area!

We ordered a burger with fries with a drink each for two people. I could barely hear the cashier, the burgers had no flavor, the fries were wimpy no crispness, I even asked for packets of ketchup as the bottles on the table looked nasty, dirty and like they hadn t been cleaned or changed out in awhile. The mats at the drink station was wet and dirty and left our shoes all sticky and bathrooms were dirty. I ve been here before but this visit was a great disappointment from last visit. I hope things get better.

Come here a lot. Today was awful. -Ran out of unsweet tea. -Fries were cold and greasy. -No knives, was told they were all dirty! -Burger was so cold the cheese wouldnt melt. -Took 40 minutes to get our cold burgers. -Another 10 minutes to get our cold fries. -Had to scavenger salt, pepper, mayo, etc. from several different tables as no tables had everything. Wednesday wing special is no longer worth going for. We have lived here for 1 year and it has changed 3 times. Now, they are down to only 8 wings per person at .50 each. You get a nursing home medicine size cup now that has ranch; to dip 8 wings lol and have to pay for more sauce; pathetic. Fries are soggy, drinks are over $2 each soon it will be only 4 wings per person at .75 each. What a joke. They have lost our business and our families business. Busy work day stopped for dinner. The veggies tasted old as if they sat on their own juice for a long time, I complained about the bacon it wasn t toasted it was HARD to were you couldn t eat it. They exchanged it for even a worse slice didn t eat , the cook clearly over burned it on purpose, by the time I realize my burger had a hair so I just stopped eating at this point. I didn t complain because they were just not gonna believe me since I had already ate a couple of bites. We also got the hot Cheetos hot dog which was soggy and bland. The drink machine was broken and the drinks that it did dispense were flat. The cookies were dry and over priced . Ps. We were greeted with there s no wings if you re here for that (i guess they had a special). Never again specially for a $68 bill. everything is sticky or dirty. The drinks have a horrible sewer taste. The tea was the same thing it was not the soda machine more like the water system. We did let the waiter know but they said they had no other options. The food was decent but it was hard to eat with a nasty soda or tea to wash down the good food. Wont be coming back until the drink selection is upgraded. I ve gone several times and ordered more than 12 wings plus plain wings and this time I went and the cashier tells me for the plain wings is regular price, they have to have sauce which is really absurd but ok whatever. Came here with my husband and we ordered the tower burger with fries. It was one of the best burgers Ive had. The bread was light and fluffy, the patty was well seasoned and juicy but not super greasy and the sauce was delicious. The tomato and lettuce were such a great freshness to the burger and it had yummy cheese along with fried onions and a fried egg. The fries are cooked fresh and super yummy! I highly recommend this place! Wheelchair accessibility: They have tables that are accessible if youre in a wheel chair. The entrance and exit are completely separated which assist with avoiding anyone blocking the space needed to leave comfortably.

First time coming here. I asked the cashier what she recommended from the menu she told me that the bacon cheese was good so i ordered it alongside with some loaded fries they did not disappoint. I ordered the burger to be medium rare and that is exactly what i got the meat was so juicy unlike anything Ive ever had from a fast food place plus the hamburger bun was the best thing about my meal so toasty yet so soft on the inside . The wait time for your food is a little longer than expected but a 10 out 10 for taste and look of the wings. I will definitely be going again to try the burgers and other flavors of wings. I would recommend this food joint to anyone. One piece of advise from one chef to another is beard guards. Seeing my food being handled by a full 7 inch beard over my food is a little unsettling or just shave your face. But other than that the wings were great . Parking: Lots of places to park. Absolutely devastated and hurt by what just happened. While waiting outside for my family to arrive so we can walk in and eat together I was told I had to leave and couldnt be there waiting. Im new to the city and had walked there to the restaurant very excited to eat and try the place out only to get kicked out of the premises. Very disappointing and very hurt by this.

Sad place. Bad service & food. The kids working there have no inkling of what theyre doing. Just went by about 30 min ago. Never again. Burnt burger, bread was warmed up several times as it was stale/hard. The cashier was rude. They gave the order to someone before me. Even thos he got there way after us

The burgers had good flavor and presentation, I didnt like the potatoes because the color and flavor screamed of burnt oil (reused), since it was early and the most correct thing is that the oil was new. Regarding the issue of service, the young woman who served us not only showed that she did not want to work but that she did not know what she was doing, she brought us the hamburgers without cheese when asked and paid for what she brought us the slices of cold cheese so that We put it on ourselves, a colleague noticed and helped us by taking the plates and apologized, she gave us back the plates with the complete hamburgers, she was very good but the one who charged us and delivered the orders was very bad.

This place was one of those hidden gems, but after being used and shown off, it dwindled to nothing less than just another regualr burger joint with no thrive to it. Its lost its touch as the years have passed, with no show of it coming back up to what it was sadly. I wish to see this place flourish to what it formally was at the start.

Upon arrival, the inside smelled like burnt oil. There was no ice tea. I asked for fresh fries, they were not. They were soggy and reheated. The burger meat was thin and was not good when I was eating my burger, I threw most of it away, as well as the fries. I went to bathroom to rinse my mouth, noticed bathroom was not clean. I told the cook and he came out and cleaned it quickly. The young lady at the counter and serving, spent her time in the kitchen area while we were there. This is not what I would expect from Tower Burger.

Ordered to go from inside since this was my first visit. Needed to explore the menu. Took a bit longer than expected, but the burger was large & cooked as ordered. The bun was chewy-maybe brioche, which stood up to this large burger. Bun was toasted which is always a plus in my book! My recommendation would only be more cheese & an option of a steak sauce. All & all a great burger & anyplace which gives you the option of homemade onion straws is A+.
