Came for the R&B Brunch. Barely any music was played. The buffet was terrible. Plates were dirty. Gnats all over the food. The waiter took FOREVER to come to the table. We were never offered water. When we asked another waitress for water she told us it was $7. This place is a joke. CHARGING FOR WATER

I will never patronize such a unprofessional place again. Accused one of the people we were with of trying to run out on her tab. She stepped out on the patio to take a call. The unprofessional bartender knew she was with us because we all came in together. Instead of her asking she runs and gets the owner and the police. The owner was unprofessional as well. The owner stated that other people have ran out on tabs so she assumed that what was happening. I advised the owner , we are not other people so dont treat us like other people. She was very condescending. The tab was $50 for 8 party wings, 2 sides, and a soda. That in itself was ridiculous. Both owners even if they were truly the owners were very unprofessional. They need to train thier staff on how to treat patrons. There are plenty of places in Dallas to eat and drink. Keep treating your customers like criminals and your establishment will not be open for long! We will never patronize or recommend this place.

DJs Steak House Waz pretty cool I really liked the Atmosphere and I like the outdoors patio. The Mango drink was pretty good as well. The music on point. I would recommend it for any occasion I think my friends from out of town would enjoy it . Its also child friendly @ the appropriate times. Check it out for yourself, I think youll like it. I would just skip this place for now. I believe that once they are more organized and fully staffed, it could be better. Please look at your receipt before you give the waiter your card they will overcharge. The host at the front is kind and accommodating. Do not order the steak.

This place is a VIBE! The live music, the food, the space is intimate. We celebrated my friends birthday there and had a blast. More definitely will be back to just hang out. As I m still sitting in the restaurant waiting for my server I have to say they have thee worst service I ve ever experienced. I ve been here 3x and it doesn t get better. It is a constant waiting game. My water never got refilled. My man asked for limes with his water and they brought one lime wrapped in a paper napkin! My first visit which was My birthday dinner the waitress completely forgot about us,came back to the table and said oh shoot, I forgot all about y all with no remorse. For the most part the food is good which is why I gave it 3 tries but never again!

Wonderful outing. Great ambiance. Drinks are pricey but on point. The food was exceptional. The service was subpar. The tip is billed in the tab, so It appears (my) waitress had no reason to provide an above par experience. Had to request water, wrong food brought out after waiting 30 plus minutes. She simply had an attitude. Im giving it a 4 star until I revisit.

Waited over an hour to receive food after it was ordered. Ordered fried fish. greens and cornbread. Fish was unseasoned and overpriced. The waiter was nice but terrible at serving. Music was so loud inside restaurant, could not hear our conversation with my guest. Terrible atmosphere. Several guests entering the restaurant smelled like Marijuana. First and last time visiting.

This was our first and last time we will be visiting DJ s Steakhouse. We love supporting black owned businesses but due to our experience I had to write a review. We arrived and no one was there to great us. The DJ had to go find someone to assist. My husband heard an advertisement on FM 94.5 that lamb chops would be special prices all day today . We were told by our waitress the special had ended . We ordered the turkey leg soul food $39.00, Oxtails and dirty rice $40.00 and two cocktails $17 and $15.00 . ( photos of menu attached with pricing) you will see the Menu pricing is different than the receipt . Total for 2 people $148.70 We were charged an 18% Gratuity And then the Gratuity was Taxed! ( RECEIPT ATTACHED)! Ridiculous! Note: In small print at the bottom of the menu it states basically this is the cash price. If you pay with credit card you will pay an up charge . The food came out in about 5 minutes . The presentation was nice except for the withered greens to fill the plate. ( shown in photo). The greens were fresh not caned but lacked flavor. The Turkey leg was frozen then warmed it was not fresh . You can tell it has been re-warmed . The yams were hot and tasted like they were canned . The oxtails were cooked well and they were tender but lacked flavor and tasked as if they were re-warmed and not fresh. The service was not good at all. We sat for about 15 minutes and not even offered water. One of the waitresses asked if we had been greeted, then went to get another young lady. This lady only spoke to my husband until he directed her to speak with me directly. Lastly, I asked for a To-Go box, we weee brought a tin pan and a sheet of foil. This was an overall unpleasant experience and we will not be back.

Overall the food was really good. The greens are delicious. The yams are good. The jazzy wings are perfect. The peach cobbler, though, is a complete miss. Im not sure if canned peaches are used or what the deal is, but there was no moisture or syrup, just dry peaches and a crispy crust. The alcoholic drinks were really good The only serious problem I had was the customer service. It took a long time for a server to come up to the front and seat us, and from there, it got worse. Our waitress was definitely MIA when it came to taking our order and checking on us throughout. Patrons beware: there is an automatic 15 percent gratuity added to parties 5 and under. It was a very unpleasant surprise, especially when the service was so bad. But in fairness, at least its printed in the fine print section at the bottom of the menu. My tip? If possible, order your food to go.

Today My husband and I went to DJ s Steakhouse for the first time for Sunday s Brunch . Our waiter Elijah was awesome , he was very attentive in making sure we had first class service, I ordered Lamp Chops with Mac & Cheese, My husband order Smother Pork Chops with Garlic Mash Potatoes , we also had the Jazzy Wings . The vibe was excellent.The Manager greeting at the door was friendly and upbeat he set the tone.The decor of the restaurant was amazing, tvs everywhere and the tables looked very classy. Our server, his name was Kai was excellent, he checked on us often to make sure everything was perfect. Now its time to talk about the the food my wife ordered catfish and I had the catfish and shrimp. The portions was big, to me thats extremely important. Our overall experience was a five star. We will tell our friends to come here and we will definitely be back.

I was excited to spend some time with close friends and celebrate. I also love to experience new places to see what is available because I have so many allergies. We arrived at 330pm because our reservation was at 330pm. Thankfully some people had arrived early. We had a party of about 15 people and the restaurant was not that busy. However, we did not get our food until 430pm. The appetizers we ordered for the main dish took just as long. The part that got me the most was the difference in what the waiter said and what I received. He told us the wings lemon pepper wings come with 6 wings. I wanted 8 so we ordered 2 servings at $12 each. The waiter comes with 2 plates but only 4 on each one. We did get that fixed but the wings were so salty I just took off the skin. I can live with that but the bill? So first of all instead of charging $24 for the 2 wings we were charge $24.96. No biggy right? But how did we get charged for 2 subsides and a side of collard greens? So we complained but the waiter kept stumbling over his words. I told him look take off the subsides and the collard greens. He comes back with the second receipt and said we had to sub the fries for the greens so we charged you for it. The fries dont count. UUUHHHMm. Ok I was ready to go at this point. Yall got me but never again. So we spent $47.60 on 12 wings and a cheese burger! DJs has so much potential but the nickel and diming and addons for you customers along with the LOOOOONNNNNNG wait time.... thats a no for me.

Last nights visit to DJs began with some trepidation, largely due to a series of communication mishaps. With the reservation system being down due to all of the storms in DFW and a few unanswered phone calls, I was nervous about how our party of ten, which included two children, would be received. However, any initial apprehensions quickly dissipated, thanks to the hospitality we experienced upon arrival as a large group without a reservation. Upon arrival, we learned that DJs had implemented a policy restricting service to patrons under the age of 14 except for Sundays. As a family with two children in tow, celebrating birthdays, this was concerning, especially since one of the children had dined here before. However, the manager, Alexander, approached me with such grace and understanding that my worries were swiftly alleviated. He explained the rationale behind the policy change and ensured that we were comfortable with the arrangement before choosing to turn us away. Alexander s considerate and professional demeanor instantly calmed me as Im sure he saw that I was upset. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that the staff were dedicated to providing a top-notch experience. The ambiance was elegant and inviting and the music was great. The waitstaff were attentive and accommodating, the manager even assisted! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Highlights included the lamb chops, greens, and jazzy shrimp. Throughout the evening, Alexanders presence was a comforting constant. He checked in on us regularly, making sure we were enjoying our meal, joking with the family, and addressing any needs we might have had. By the end of the night, he felt less like a manager and more like a cherished friend, genuinely invested in our experience. In conclusion, despite a rocky start due to communication issues, DJs exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional food, stellar service, and Alexander s remarkable hospitality turned what could have been a stressful evening into a memorable birthday celebration for my both my dad and stepmother. I wholeheartedly recommend DJs and look forward to returning soon. Alexander and team earned these five stars last night!

First and last time going to DJ s Steakhouse! We got there shortly after they opened(5:25) and we were told they were out of wings so they gave us wingettes. The waiter totally forgot to bring what I ordered twice. When the check came it was $30 too high, so they said they gave us the wrong menu. I came here 5/11/2024 with my spouse. Our reservations was for 8:45pm we arrived 8:45pm. Our booth was a nice size. It took the waiter about 10mins to take our order which was not bad, however once he came around we ordered everything right then. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, once it did entrees was brought out but only my sides ( I ordered oxtails w/white rice, candid yams & collars greens) my yams was cold considering it took over a hr for our food to arrive they would be steaming hot . WRONG. The waiter barely came to the table, when he did he just said sorry it s taking so long mind you it s getting late and the tables are starting to depart so not sure why it s taking so long. Our waiter kept forgetting line he was high or something. Overall my first experience was a 2/10 10 being the best. The food was a 3 1/2 out of 10 . My oxtails had only fat barely any meat I would have went to KISS where I know I m going to get some meat on my oxtails.

I booked my birthday dinner here with a few of my closest friends. I had read mixed reviews about food and service. But, I wanted to patronize this establishment. I m so glad I followed my own mind and made the reservations!!!! Everyone was so impressed with the food, staff, and service. The manager, each waiter that passed, and especially our own waitress were so engaged and dedicated to making sure our experience was top tier. Everyone loved their dinner order (chicken & waffles, bone in ribeye, stuffed turkey leg, grilled and blackened salmon, stuffed chicken) and each item was cooked to perfection! I loved the Spinach Dip appetizer. It became a meal because I couldnt stop eating it. The crab cakes were also delicious. Djs is more than just a black owned restaurant it is a staple in the Addison area. They have a very diverse menu and lack nothing in flavor . They have a colorful bar menu and a full service bar . Visited DJs this past Friday with a friend to try out their Happy Hour seen posted on their IG. We were seated immediately by the host in a round booth (it was just us 2 so a table wouldve been better) with a window behind us (should have the curtains closed for a more intimate vibe). We asked our server about their happy hour which she barely had knowledge of & just gave us an idk maybe this or that speech. We even showed her the flyer on their IG & got the same response followed by let me ask my manager. Eventually we just ordered 2 drinks, catfish bites (literally 4 small pieces) & their shrimp creole turkey leg (very tender BUT lacked flavor in the seasoning of the dirty rice). Throughout the visit, we noticed the expectations of not only us but the business as well was very off. They ask for a certain attire but 90% of the patrons were dressed very down, they present themselves as an upscale steakhouse but the decor gives we still figuring it out . Also, what steakhouse do you know has a DJ? The music was so loud we could barely hear each other. I mean to each their own, I just think there is room for improvement Alex. Reasons for knocking off 2 stars: 1) Every employee should know the specials, events & menu changes at all times. There should be a sense of consistency vs just saying IDK I m just the host or passing the buck to off to someone else. 2) The ambience of the restaurant gives very boujee ghetto in no way shape of form does it give upscale steakhouse like one would expect. The flower wall? TAKE IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY! The decor was just off & they should close the booth curtains vs having the patio & everyone else looking at your backside.

The very worst, poor dining experience from beginning to end. No free parking near restaurant, valet is $10. Valet person did not park car nor bring car after dining. Trainee server said we could sit anywhere, we chose the corner back booth. We started sitting down (everyone in our party was over 60 years old with a disability except one person). She stopped us and said to sit in one of the other side booths because the corner was for parties of 6, not 4, although it was not reserved and we had a reservation for 2 special occasions. Further, our party could not fit into 2 of the side big booths because the table legs were too big and too close to the seating. One of our guests is 64 with MS. I dont recall any other parties sitting in those side booths for the next 3 hrs. We had to wait 5 minutes for the trainee server to receive permission to sit at the original booth we chose. Menus were dirty and soiled, and outdated, we later found out. Several signature drinks were not available, and basic bar items like prosecco and khalua were not available either. I ordered a regular dirty Bombay gin martini with olive. It was not made with Bombay, and they used elderflower instead of vermouth - yuck. The olive juice was brought out first with the olives in a little plastic container/ramekin. Each drink was brought out separately with significant time in between. Half the service was solo with a trainee who knew nothing about the menu or could answer any of our questions as first-time visitors. The trainee spilled water all over the guest of honor and the table of apps. We ended up cleaning it up ourselves and telling the the other servers how to help because they just stood there like deer in headlights asking what should they do. The general manager lectured our table on the reasons for auto-gratuity, including the good ol pandemic from four years ago excuse. The general manager and trainee misplaced one of our guests credit cards. Collard greens were good, the dressing was not desirable and easily forgettable, lamb chops were salty, and stuffed turkey is not stuffed - they just slap toppings on top. The receipt comes with free entry to Vinettis. Ah, so thats the audience youre trying to attract? Im probably forgetting more about this traumatic, expensive experience but Im just trying to release and forget it at this point. The dining experience was a true insult to what a true steakhouse experience should be like. I support black-owned businesses but I will never return to this restaurant. I would be surprised if it lasts another 2 years. Vegetarian options: A few side items may be vegetarian but not clearly labeled as to whether the kitchen is strict about it, i.e. usage of utensils and broth. I doubt it at this place. Parking: No free parking unless you park down the block/plaza

Flew to Dallas/Fort Worth for the weekend and was told I had to try this black-owned steakhouse. My first impression was thrown off by all of the parking spots close to the restaurant being reserved for valet parking, however, the attendant doesnt park your vehicle he only moves the cone and collects your $10. Inside the restaurant, I ordered an Old Fashion since it was the only whisky drink on the menu, and received a portion much smaller than expected. The window sill behind us was caked with thick dust. The GM said that he cleaned the other side of the restaurant but the other guy must have missed the dust, as thick as it was you could tell that it hadnt been cleaned in a while, which made me feel that the entire place was filthy. My party wanted to stay so I ordered the entrée sized crab cakes which looked more like an appetizer. The food was good, but the place was dirty, the valet was not truly valet, the drink was too small for the price and I dont feel that I got what I paid for. I wont return the next time Im in town. Very disappointing

They advertised one thing and of course it s another when it comes to happy hour. No one took our order for about 20 minutes and the entree took an additional 30 minutes . They were starting to fill up and several staff members start clocking or table hoping that we would move because they had a line! We had only been there for 1 hour 3O mins and was told that there is a time limit on the tables! lol we stayed as long as we did due to not being serviced! NEVER AGAIN

First timer at this place and it didnt disappoint. No reservation walked in and was seated right away, out waitress Stephanie was pleasant/attentive and offered her recommendations since it was our first time here. We had spinich dip and some pork chop bites for appetizers. Main course, i had the 10 oz ribeye, mac and cheese and fries. Wifey had the lamb chops and mashed potatoes. We both had drinks. Vibe of the place was nice, music was nice soul/jazz/r&b type music as we watched lebron james go his 40,000th career points. The GM spoke with us briefly about our visit. No complaints. Casual date night. $200 check. Tipped on top of the gratuity. Would do it all over again. Great experience! Great night!

We truly enjoyed our dining experience. Great food, excellent service (Erica, our waitress, was the best), great ambiance/vibe, and nice music that complimented the whole dinner experience, but still allowed us to enjoy good conversation with each other without screaming over it to hear each other. The music thing was a big deal for me because I ve visited a few black owned restaurants recently that made me feel like I was in a club instead of a restaurant. I don t mind some nice music playing in the background, but not when it s so loud I can t hear what the other folks are saying at my table. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great date night spot, celebrating a special occasion, or just want to go out for a nice meal at a restaurant with a great vibe. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I went here last night for a date night. The physical vibe inside is nice, but thats pretty much where it stopped for us. We were greeted by a dry face and tone when we walked in from the hostess. We were seated and sat without any acknowledgement or waiting staff for at least 15 min. We were watching waiters pass by our table and until I stopped one and asked who our waiter was Im certain we would have never been acknowledged. The server I stopped just ended up servicing us because they werent sure who was supposed to be working our table. The crab cake was mushy, the food was subpar and not well seasoned. The cocktail was the only thing that we had that was good, the service was very mediocre and underwhelming. We honestly couldnt wait to leave. It was very much just OK and it wont be a place for us to return to for a date night.

DJ s did not disappoint! We came out for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday and the food was amazing! Our server Derrick gave great service Everything was cooked fresh and tasted fresh. Our party ordered an array of options. Fried Catfish for the birthday girl, we ordered the stuffed turkey leg w/dressing and a side of collard greens & Mac & cheese, had a taste of the oxtails my mother ordered which I thought was very good, even their burgers are good but the star of the dinner was the fried stuffed pork chops! And u can get them grilled.I didn t order but 2 other friends ordered had to taste was absolutely seasoned and fried to perfection and the stuffed parmesan cheese inside OMG! So good. Even the drinks were good! The chef came out and introduced herself I believe her name is Ariel she asked how things were and how the food was. Really liked that the staff was very attentive to our party. Derrick even went as far as bringing out a slice of cake w/a candle so we could sing happy birthday to our friend! The atmosphere very cozy and inviting, upscale vibe and everyone was dressed to impress even the servers. And as for music a little ol school r&b complimented the vibe. Everyone agreed the food was delicious and we all had a great time. Only negative thing was the parking (which is limited near the restaurant) and they charge $10 for valet Also all the entrees are a bit pricey but you get very large portions had so much food left over for another s nights dinner lol so mainly because of the food and service I would highly recommend for a night out w/friends, family or a romantic evening. Parking: All of the spaces near the restaurant was valet only so get there early u may have to park a little further down in the lot if u don t want to pay valet

Food was great but the service was horrible. It took an hour to receive the food and our server barely checked on us, didn t refill our drinks or anything she just disappeared. I spoke with the manager and she did a great job with service recovery but the server came to the table and became confrontational with us right in front of the manager. How did she get $36.00 gratuity? She deserved one dollar. If you ever get a server name Daysha, I might be spelling her name wrong, change sections. Although this is one of my favorite restaurants, the Addison location has made two birthdays a disaster. After making a 8:30 pm reservation, but arriving at 8:20 pm to meet proper dining standards, your hostess overlooked my party, sat several couples and gave a we are busy response after I explained we have been waiting for 50 min outside in the heat and other parties after our check were seated. While speaking with a manager, she gave the same story of businesses. After sharing my arrival time, and all the guests (two parties) who were seated before us, a table was available immediately. Please see the attached pics of all the empty tables which was shocking because it contradicted your employees excuse. I am a local small business owner. If you need more quality staff, please let me know. I own a staffing company. What you have isn t givin!!

So I want to leave an honest review, not to harm but to hopefully help this black owned business. As far as the restaurant itself..I t was nice and clean with great ambiance. Great music and comfortable seating. Very cute and cozy. Our waiter was nice and patient. The food..lambchops were amazing! Seasoned perfectly. Mashed potatoes were a little cold. Oxtails were very good, large and meaty and the gravy was perfect. Dressing on the other hand was completely off. Under seasoned with too much sage or poultry seasoning. Almost tasted like taco seasoning. Definitely need a different recipe. The turkey leg filled with greens came out with no parmesan cream sauce so was brought out separately once I brought it to waiter attention. Was very tasty, greens and cream sauce was bomb. So heres what turned me completely off. When our ticket came out, all the prices that were listed on the menu was increased by $1 here .50 there. Every item had added cents. Initially I thought it was the sales tax itemized but sales tax was listed separately on top of individual prices. Along with gratuity added for a party of 3. When I asked the waiter about the individual increased prices listed on receipt, she said that the price on receipt was the actual price and wasnt on menu because the odd prices wouldnt look appealing. (Wait what?!) So you are advertising a false price? Youre playing a tricky game DJ. We call it finessing in Cali. This is screaming lawsuit, Im sorry. I paid the bill, but this is a big mistake. You dont always know who you are servicing and who knows who. I would love to see you thrive as a black owned business, but you HAVE to change this system. Last night took my wife here for Dinner and Drinks around 9pm. Had a reservation was greeted by a nice smile from the host that took us to our table immediately. The server was prompt to come over and get our drink order they brought water on the way so we didn t have to ask only for lemons. Informed us a special they had on Don Julio shots which we both enjoy and also had a nice Don Julio Lemon Drop. appetizer: The portions here are pretty big so you don t really need it. Got the crab cake which is a single cake, pretty flavorful but lacked something and the powered Parmesan cheese added something I didn t really enjoy, and push it over the edge with the salt. Original I wanted this shrimp, but they didn t have it. My Meal: Fried Shrimp, Baked Mac & Cheese and Yams Casserole. Shrimp was fried to perfection. Perfect Batter. Seasoning a small bit too salty but not overly. Hot, good size and great flavor. Mac & Cheese and Yams were my favorite. They hit those both 10/10. Portion size great I fasted all day so finishing my meal i did, but not super easy..I m a big eater so I was plenty full. I had to travel today so leftovers would been a waste. Originally I ordered the fried lobster but they didn t have that. Wife s Meal: Stuffed Turkey Leg & Collard Greens. It s your grannies recipe. Flavorful, not bitter, huge portion, taste great 10/10 a little on the salty side but just a tad. My wife was full in three bites. The things I feel the place could do better for a Black owned establishment that has amazing food. Pay a little more attention to detail. - Lighting needs to change a little, it s a little too bright and the color of the light isn t nice. - Bathroom needs to be refreshed, was a little dirty and needs to he brighten up specially the women s, women love nice bathrooms so they can take pics. - Has carpet, carpet, carpet. Oh wow! This food overall was fantastic. It took everything in my soul to eat the Jazzy Wings like I had a little home training. I would recommend if ordering an appetizer for the table to order two. The chicken breast was moist and tender. Would definitely recommend. Now, the alcoholic beverages is truly alcoholic beverages. We were wanting to come to DJs Steakhouse for a while as a family. We immediately loved the automosphere when we arrived. The dark hues and the beautiful rose wall was a classy touch, along with the musician (supper club vibe). Our waitress Kay was very professional at explaining all the dishes, and understanding our substitutions, while making us all laugh throughout the evening. The food was DELICIOUS, specifically the steaks (NO STEAK SAUCE needed), the stuffed turkey leg with shrimp, mac & cheese (very cheesy), chicken wings, cabbage & greens (seasoned well). The crab cakes and stuffed shrimp were ok, they needed a bit more seasoning and larger pieces of crab. Most of the sides were al la carte, the mac and cheese was the only option that seemed liked it could serve 2 individuals, so we ordered all sides ours seperately. The drinks were very tasty and they did not hold back on the spirits. We finished our meal with peach cobbler, that was ok, we were expecting more of a cobbler with full crust, but it was more like a thin piece pie dough on top of peaches. Overall our dinner, service, and meal were top notch! Hats off to the chef and staff who made our evening worth the drive.

Thursday Happy Hour: I made it around 5:20 and the hostess was a nice young lady who greeted me. I sat at the bar with another person from my party, while we waited for the rest of the party. I asked the lady behind the bar for their happy hour menu. As she goes to grab the menu the comment she made was RUDE and unprofessional. Then proceeds to toss the menu to me. The rest of my party made it and the hostess sat us down at the table. She handed us menus and said the waitress would be with us. 10 minutes went by and the hostess brings us waters. We asked when the waitress would be coming over she said she is behind the bar getting some things together and will be over. Come to find out the lady behind the bar is the Assistant General Manager. We proceeded to wait for at least 45 minutes and ended up leaving. Went on Fathers Day around 5:30pm and made reservation 2 weeks prior. Pros: Great Neo-Soul hits from the 90s, Mac and Cheese (Amazing!), Sweet Tea. Cons: Lack of flavor/seasoning on every dish, service was horrible, prices ($160 tab for 4 dishes, 2 drinks, included $20 gratuity). Our experience: Waitress was very dry and clearly ready to go home. Expected way more for the price. Had to find another waitress (Kay) who was very helpful and got us water refills amd a working pen to sign the bill. Our waitress knew she was already getting her tip as gratuity so she made no efforts to serve us. They ran out of food and served us the wrong food (stuffed fried chicken comes with mashed potatoes & they gave us rice). Food: Overall, had to add salt, pepper and hot sauce to make the food decent. Definitely NOT worth the price or hype. If you are looking for a date night for drinks and music this would be a place but if you are looking for good food with the family, this spot isnt worth it. They were out of Greens, Chicken and Waffles & Turkey Legs. I ordered for Ox Tails with rice - the dish comes with no additional sides. The ox tails were tender but had no flavor and were very fatty (not much meat). Plate came with 4 large ox tails and plate of rice. There was no gravy on dish but instead the natural sauce from cooking them. We ordered the stuffed chicken, barely any stuffing and was more like a cheese sauce. The chicken was extremely tender and juicy! I mean the texture was perfect but it had absolutely no flavor. The meatloaf was decent but lacked flavor. Dry on the edges. I was in my new big ole F150 and was easily able to back into an open spot. I noticed the bigger lot that used to be in the back is now closed off. I m actually glad about that because when I last went it just didn t feel safe and the lit was kinda tore up. Hopefully their fixing it then will reopen as additional parking with better lighting for when people are walking out in the dark.

My husband & I came to celebrate his birthday. Service was not that great. They was supposed to have a live band as stated on their website, but didn t have it. Then we wanted another drink after our dinner. The waitress brings us our ticket without asking if wanted anything else. They was not that busy at all seems we was rushed. I brought my husband here a year ago because of his promotion, we had a great time. Today was not good at all. I will never return false advertising and poor service. My food was not worth the price. I had lamb chops and mashed potatoes. I know the potatoes are boxed also cold, Lamb chops very small. My husband s plate was steak and Mac& cheese. This food was not worth the money.

1st things 1st....The food...amazing ! The taste, the temperature, the presentation was all A+ in my book. Also my alcoholic beverage was very delicious. However, I saw so many food choices online that were not available once we arrived. There is a limited menu on Sundays. A brunch menu and an after brunch menu with no substitutions. My husband wanted the stuffed turkey wings, they had no turkey wings that day. I wanted the cajun cabbage, they had no cabbage that day. That was a bummer, then we asked the waiter are the lamb chops only for breakfast ? he stated, they still had some left over and could accommodate that as an order. So we kinda built my husband a plate right quick. I think the need to offer the cornbread basket as a complimentary food item when you get seated at your table. We need some kind of pregame snack while waiting on our food order. Overall the ambience was beautiful, the music was on point, the service was good, and the food was amazing ! We were greeted and seated when we arrived for our reservation and made to feel very welcomed to have come to this establishment. We will be returning on a Thursday night to catch the live show !

Went here for my birthday on a Saturday06/03/202. It was NOT GOOD AT ALL. Where do I start? First of all the drinks did not come in the right glass. 2 The waitress was ok. After we got our food the waitress disappeared. 3. Two of my friends ordered ribeye steaks medium well. They came out well. I ordered stuff pork chops they were not seasoned and the asparagus was limp. I ordered garlic mashed potatoes and there was no garlic and they were boxed and stiff. We got the tab and EVERYTHING was higher than wat was on the menu. Bottom line the food and customer service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. THANKS FOR NOTHING

All the food was good. I would only say that the oxtails need to be cooked longer. Ive had them about 3 times now and each time the same. My parents and husband had fish & shrimp. Alot of food for sure.

Short staffed and mediocre service. I ordered the Ribeye Steak. It was horrible. No flavor at all. They charge you for using your credit card, and they put a gratuity on you. Ive never seen a restaurant pass the credit card fee onto their customers. Im a bar manager and Ive never heard of it. Only my people.... Dont do it, reconsider!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Grown and sexy energy. You can get fancy and dine with friends or make it intimate and bring your love interest. I celebrated my birthday here and they DID NOT disappoint! It was beautiful, great hosts, great decor, strong drinks, delicious food and knowledgeable staff. The only reason why I didn t give five stars is because they have 20% gratuity and our server was good but not 20% good. I have no problem with tipping but great service deserves great tips.

This review is a little late because my visit was on February 10, 2023. Its unfortunate everyone seems to have a different experience because the experience I had with a group of 12 people was great. Our server was Deverick and he was very professional and attended to our large party very effectively considering it was a busy evening. Everything we ordered was available and came to us well seasoned. I plan to return to this restaurant, I hope the experience will again be positive.

A friend and I decided to go before our birthdays (April 24 & 25) this past Saturday since were not spending our birthdays together this year. Her first experience was cool & I was hoping this time would be the same. Boy was I wrong. The service, food and drinks were not good. We ordered the Kickin shrimp as an appetizer. I ordered the two fried pork chops stuffed with parmesan cheese, garlic mash and a side of Mac and cheese. The only thing good was the kickin shrimp. The pork chops seemed large but of course it was the batter on the outside They were fried too hard. Not much flavor. The parmesan cheese stuffed inside didnt help. Garlic mash tasted like the instant kind and could have used more butter or milk. Mac & cheese was ok but not the best. It took forever to get the mac & cheese and the waiter thought I had a different side and then was like Oh, you are waiting on your mac & cheese. What sucks is I was really hungry and hadnt eaten all day. My friend only ate one of her crab cakes and said it was fried too hard too. We ordered a lemon drop for our first drink. It was tart and watered down and took forever to come out. We asked the waiter to take it back & if we could order something else. The second drink I attempted to order, I was informed they dont serve it anymore. The third drink (cant remember the name) was ok and took awhile to come out too. It was not the experience I was hoping for. Overpriced and not worth it. Sometimes there are places you would give a second chance, not this place. And I was really excited about supporting another BOB.

I would give DJ s zero stars if I could. The waitress was pretty good; however, they were out of almost everything we ordered. Our bill came out to roughly $250; however, we noticed that they charged us about $10 for paying via credit card. We asked the manager and his response was, I just work here. We explained that we ve never been to a restaurant where the credit card charge was passed on to the customers. The manager started to argue and cut me off and explain that all restaurants charge customers for using a credit card. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. I could even understand the charge if you at least had all of the food on the menu, but you had the audacity to charge for using a credit card AND you didn t have all the food on the menu. There was only one waitress; however, there were only 2 tables. My table was a 5 top and the other table was a 9 top (whom she had to tell that their food request couldn t be fulfilled either). After we received our food, we asked for a few different condiments; however, because the other table was so large and it took her so long to take their order, we finished our food by the time she remembered the condiments. While the food is good, the service isn t worth it. I will never be back! It s also pretty obvious that the restaurant isn t fairing well. Do better!! Your manager also shouldn t be busy watching the game. Maybe a better use of his time is doing inventory to ensure the restaurant doesn t run out of food. Lastly, Google stated the restaurant was closed and we had to call prior to arriving to make sure they were open. It s an easy fix to fix your operating hours on Google. Again, do better!!
