I only had a house margarita (which was great), queso and chips n salsa. The salsa was really good, but the queso wasnt what I expected. They need to do better in my opinion. Reminded me of nacho sauce mixed with velveeta. Id still try it again tho.

Our favorite restaurant in Addison! We love coming here for the amazing happy hour prices and deals. Nothing beats sipping a margarita on the patio while eating chips and queso. I been to this location several times. I love the place and the Mexican manager they got there is an amazing guy. Nothing but greatness from this place. The only downside is last weekend I got serve at the bar by a lady name Jasmine. I can see she is young, but she needs to work on her attitude. Horrible customer service. We live close by in Addison. They have a dog friendly patio. Great drink specials. I love their margaritas it sounds cliche right? We had fun on Cinco de mayo. Fantastic food with great service. My wife and I were celebrating her graduation with family and the servers were both very kind and attentive. We started with the queso which was just ok for me, but my wife loved. The salsa has almost a bean flavor to it, but not in a bad way (similar to Gloria s). The chips were amazing! So a great canvas to work with I got the asada quesadillas which I thought were a little too heavy on the adobo sauce that you couldn t taste anything else. My wife got the birria tacos which was fantastic. I really enjoyed the flavors here and wish I had gotten them as well. Great spot to dine!

You know what feels amazing... finding a restaurant worth giving 5 stars to all around!!! The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, the cleanliness of the bathroom was amazing, the esthetics were beautiful. I came on Tuesday so they have taco deals and the margarita flights were delicious. Our server (Tessa) was worth returning for all alone. She was so nice, attentive, speedy and had great recommendations. The greeter was helpful and kind. I will def be returning. Just off Addison Circle the El Rincon Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar is a great place for food, beverage, and atmosphere. Normally Im with a group, but today I went alone and found the service was just as attentive. I had a burrito which was more than I could eat and was delivered without a long wait. So good! Often I take advantage of their monthly focus on a particular kind of tequila. Its always priced as a special and makes for an opportunity to try different tequilas. This day I went for the House Margarita, and it was just what I needed. I recommend checking out El Rincon.

I ate at the Downtown Carrollton location last week. I discovered that there was a closer location to me in Addison. I decided to compare the two. I ordered the Papos lunch plate again. It was right on with the flavors. The chips and salsa were perfect! The beef taco was excellent! The General Manager, Harry, was so friendly and checked on me several times during my meal. He had greeted me at the door and was completely hands-on. I was so impressed! I will be returning to get my Tex-Mex cravings satisfied in the future. I really love the El Rincon in Carrollton, but this one was closer, so we went here for lunch. Service was great, but the food wasnt so much. I ordered the brisket enchiladas and the meat was so tough that I felt like I was chewing it longer than I should. Also, the black beans were dry and flavorless. But it was the chipotle cream sauce that was the worst part. It tasted like white gravy, the kind you get with chicken fingers at other places. It was super salty and did not go with the enchiladas. I ended up scraping it off because it wasnt good, but that left me with tough meat wrapped in an orange tortilla to chew on.

I ve never been treated so poorly by a server. I went this Saturday and about two tables, including ours were present and one man was working the floor. I have hearing issues and couldn t hear him when I came in and he gave me a sassy attitude when I asked him to say it again. Reverse Happy Hour is the best invention ever! Perfect 70 degree weather on the patio and Harry recommended the Birria Tacos + Candy Watermelon Cocktail . I ve been coming to El Rincon since I moved to the Addison area. From day one, the staff welcomed me and made me feel as if I made an excellent choice. Not only is the staff friendly, but the atmosphere is inviting and a great way to end a busy work day. From the moment I walk through the door, I m greeted by welcoming staff like Mayra and Jasmine. When I sit at the bar, I receive top-notch service from Alma and Jom. I m never overlooked or ignored, and it s service like this that keeps me coming back for more. Love the minchiladas! The food is pretty good However, on my last visit, I ordered fajita tacos, and when the food arrived, she came back with fajita nachos. That showed me she wasn t being very attentive. When I told her I ordered tacos not nachos, she didn t offer to replace the meal I think she s new so I said it was fine I guess. The fajita nachos were not good. I was disappointed; the fajita meat and refried beans for some reason made the chips soggy and it was just a mess to be honest. Overall I like this place and will go back soon. I ll try again to get the fajita tacos and will emphasize that I m not ordering nachos.

This somewhat hidden gem, tucked into Addison Circle, is doing things right. The food is good, from a varied, interesting menu, and at reasonable prices. I was greeted at the door by a friendly hostess which was a great start. I had the Dos Burritos de Carne and it did not disappoint. The two larger-then-expected burritos came filled with chunks of beef, atop rice, and covered in a flavorful creamy brown sauce. The special today was a $4 house margarita and they didnt skimp at all, which is also a nice surprise. My excellent server was Tess who confessed to being new. She will do well here, no doubt. The place is ran like a Swiss watch by a manager named Harry who clearly knows this business. Consider El Rincon the next time youre craving Mexican cuisine.

Great mexican food in the addison area. This was my first time in and I can say with absolute confidence that I will be coming back. Their brisket tacos on home made tortillas are a star! The salsa that comes with it, is also very tasty. Chips and salsa where nice and hot, they seemed fresh, the salsa had a nice flavor to it. We also tried to the queso and the poblano enchiladas, both where good, as well. El Rincon offers an amazing happy hour, probably the best that I have seen in a while, esp. in this economy. If you are in the Addison area, do yourself a favor and pop on it. Its def worth a visit, and you deserve some brisket tacos and a margarita.

We had dinner here last night. The food was awesome and the service was great too! We had the elote- it was great, the brisket tacos- amazing! The salsa that came with the tacos was fantastic- the tortillas that they were served on were fresh and delicious, the rice was so good- I can t explain why it was different but it was! My husband had the carnitas Chile relleno- there was nothing left on his plate so I am going to say he enjoyed it! We didnt have room for dessert!

After reading the other reviews, maybe I just went on an off day. The service was slow. We were the only ones in the place at 1130am. The waitress walked by us several times. I actually asked my brother if he had ordered and I missed it since we had been sitting there waiting so long. The food was bland. I ve tasted better food in a tv dinner. The chips tasted store bought. The flautist were hard and contained only a small amount of meat. It was mostly burned crust inside. The nachos were good. The quesadillas were gummy. I ll give it another shot on a different day.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and sat on the patio. We enjoyed everything. We tried lots of different Margaritas all were excellent. They have a special margarita for October and it was delicious. I had the Mexi Fried Rice and it was perfect. My husband had beef enchiladas and we shared the Shrimp brochette. All of the food was excellent. They had the college football games on the TV s on the patio and were also dog friendly. Great place in Addison circle to enjoy good food and good drinks.

Worst experience. Placed order @9:26PM, arrived @9:57, all FoH+BoH staff on duty didnt know about my order. Phone# confirmed w/ caller ID. A few staff had apparently just left and I guess my order left with them 4/9/2021 They did say the kitchen staff would cook for me after 10 PM because of this which was nice, but I had lost my appetite to stay waiting around for another 15-20 minutes and had a frozen dinner back at the apartment... Perhaps a good restaurant with a terrible rogue employee. Will be a while before I try again... Would be nice to have order taken, instead of being told it was taken next time.

We have been to the other El Rincon locations and thought wed try the Addison location tonight, which was a mistake. They were so short staffed which meant for us our food taking a long time and then coming to us cold and not getting the drinks we had ordered an hour earlier (other people seemed to get their drinks while we heard excuses). The acting manager walked away from my husband and just put the bill on the table with no comments. All this when there we very few people even there, which was surprising. They did take the drinks we never got off the bill. We paid for the cold food (at least it tasted okay) and all 5 of us wished we hadnt gone there and dont plan to go back to that location. They should have closed down stations if they didnt have the staff to handle the few people who were there. Very disappointing.

I love coming to El Rincon in Addison. The staff is so friendly and it feels like a family. The food is always fresh and delicious and the drinks are on point. They have some really good happy hour specials that vary on the day of the week. It s also a really nice location in Addison circle which is nice to walk around and enjoy the park. Tables were not wiped down we we walked in. Our waiter was MIA for a majority of our night, which was strange as the restaurant was not busy. Watched wait staff take shots of alcohol right next to us. Management was already gone for the night? Months ago I came in with some friends, we ordered and waited for 30 minutes for the food. I asked for mine to be made Togo. The server was visibly frustrated by that. I questioned why. And she got upset, as if I was being unreasonable. Didn t come back for a while because of that. Today I came in and ordered the dos burritos with extra cheese.
