Hired this lawyer for my parents green cards, at first it was great until the very end, when my parents got their immigration appointment, we set up a meeting with the lawyer to review all the information, during this last meeting this lawyer seem very annoyed that we were asking her a lot of questions, to me she seemed rude. Needless to say one of my parents got approved and not the other. Going with a different lawyer for waiver.

It was my pleasure to work with Karen. Me and my family applied for EB2 NIW petition I-140 in June 2022. The USCIS approved me in December. So we were able to apply for Green Cards in February 2023 and have got it in 7 months (in September, 2023). Karens assistants helped us with everything, to evaluate our diplomas. They sent the list of documents that we need to provide and then we emailed all our scans and they applied to USCIS in few days. We have got the notice from USCIS in couple weeks, then fingerprint appointment (in 1-2 months) and YEAH!!!!! WE are the happiest holders of Green Cards!!! Eight years ago thinking it was simple, filling the forms by myself, I started the process of bringing my fiancée to US. I couldnt succeed, the case was rejected at the Embassy, then after looking for immigration lawyer online and looking her rating I turned to Mrs. Karen Lee Pollak. At the most desperate time of your life, when you need the most help you could ever get, who would you choose to be your attorney? I had a pending I-539 petition that was submitted over a year ago. USCIS just refused to process it and was going to run the clock on the time limit for this petition. This was the situation when super lawyer Karen stepped in to fight for me. Where do you start!!!! First I do want to say this, is it possible to do immigration on your own? Yes. Should you, in my humble opinion NO!!!! So here is way I personally will always recommend Karen. For one, I have never in my life had a lawyer that was this quick with responding to me. Between Karen and Isela, I had my question covered. Now, Pollak Immigration made this super easy. I filled out all the forms, we signed it, and Isela got the rest taken care off. From the date we filled to me receiving my Employment Authorization Document, Advance Parole and SSN took all of three months, then the long wait. I received my Green Card today, and thanks to the hard work of this phenomenal team I got a 10 no conditions card. Everything is made easy, In or precon meeting with the team leading to our interview, Karen explained everything and recommended certain documents and lay-out, that our Agent really appreciated. My husband and I considered Karen Lee Pollak the worst nightmare for any immigrant who is trying to fix their legal status even do I did get the I-30 waiver and the green card, we still didnt appreciate that she was incredible arrogant, cold, rude, and unprofessional. Our experience with Karen was very bad but because we had paid her a very high fee thinking she was one of the best in Dallas my husband decided to give her a second chance. Her lack of knowledge of some procedures at the American embassy in my country almost caused my interview to be canceled the same day I had it. issue that I had to fix myself because Karen didnt know anything about it. ***Updated... the response is proof in the pudding for me. Everything she said, was never discuss, never any talk of legal options. All the legal jargon, needing and employer to sponsor, please call my wife and talk to her, never happened. She either completely fabricated everything there or she had me mixed up with another consult. But either way, this is the experience I had with this firm.*** All I had was less than 5minute phone consultation.... I understand, with lawyers time is very important and expensive, but that gives no one the rite for someone to be so short with another person. I could even get through telling her why I even inquired before she basically cut me off with ever word or statement I made. All I really wanted was someone to tell me, I understand, sure we can help... no what I get is exactly what I expect from a lawyer, as little effort as possible, while trying to belittle and make me feel like an idiot. Sorry, I m not the one, I ve done plenty of research and I m informed more than a lot of clients, but immigration/naturalization is a very confusing and stressful journey and we wanted to put that trust in someone else, who could help carry our burden. Being we had a very short convo, I feel like she has no compassion or understanding for others, especially those who havent signed a contract yet. Not to mention, when I realized our business wasn t gonna work with her, I told her exact that, I don t think this is gonna work. She had hung up the phone before I finished the sentence, no salutations... this woman was verbally short and rude and would not recommend her to anyone.
