Got takeout from there a couple times, I m currently traveling and each time the food was very good! The fried pickle chips are THE BEST I ve ever tried, the funnel cake fries are perfect and hit the spot, the mac&cheese tastes like it s made in house and is very creamy and amazing, the grilled chicken sandwich was a good chicken sandwich with nice portions, the burger was a decent bar burger and the wrap was good. I very much recommend this place, and service is always very friendly and quick.

This place has a wonderful location tucked away in Vitruvian Park. The drinks are good and it has a good food selection too. The service is always very friendly too. It s always wonderful to visit in December when the Vitruvian lights are on.

Web site and menu say happy hour starts at 3. Not so friendly bartender absolutely refused to honor the hh claiming it starts at 4. Then we found out their hh is only $1 off well drinks, specific beers and wine, it wasnt a deal anyways.

Went on a night we expected it to be busy and it was surprisingly pretty lowkey and my friends and I all enjoyed ourselves having a couple drinks and playing pool. The food was really good and service was good. The pool table is really small though it s almost comical.

The thing that leaves a one star is that they just added a 20% gratuity with no Ford warning whatsoever if you opened a tab which you should at least make that known in someway shape or form on the menu or sign no clear indication that was gonna happen . The drinks are pretty weak. The bartenders are very nice, but they were very busy which isn t really the best reason for weak drinks. I ordered a club sandwich and got maybe 13 fries with it. It was the most underwhelming meal I ve had in a long time at a bar. The vibe was cool for watching sports.

The food was terrible. We sat outside and a fly fell into our food and when we asked for another drink the bartender told us we can t control outside , and argued with us to get a replacement drink. We also let the staff know that the bar smelled like sewer once we walked in and they said it s normal. Cant trust this place and it s a shame that it s so close to so many apt complexes

I LOVE this place! Bartenders are friendly, love Heather! Ive only been there a few times and she always remembers my drink order! The food is so good! Try Alexs fried pickles! Great food, the chef nails the classic American fare. Service is good and quick and efficient and the atmosphere is the classic sports bar, with the added beautiful view of the river. The trees are lit up in December. $20 a meal but thats what youd expect for the added view

This used to be *the place* after playing Volleyball run by LoneStar SSC. However, on the last two visits we were never waited on and ended up leaving and going to the competition across the street. This is the first time Ive ever had bad service here. Short-staffed? Who knows but we sat at a table and no one came over to take a drink or food order. In fact, the kitchen closes at 10 pm. We went across the street and bam, the kitchen was still open, so why not have your kitchen close at the same time as your competition? We were greeted and waited promptly. I like the atmosphere here more as The Tavern is more like an upscale bar. We were burned twice, dont think we will be back a third time. I will say before these last two visits, it was amazing. Server would come out, take drinks, etc. The last couple times the man couldnt even be bothered to look our way.

I have visited Addison Ice House more than several times. The food and beer selection are very consistent and always satisfying. The atmosphere is also quite enjoyable - a good spot to catch a game or grab a drink with friends. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. They are knowledgeable about the menu and offered recommendations when asked. The prices are also reasonable. There was one instance that left me slightly disappointed. I was craving The Chicken Sandwich, a popular item on the menu. Unfortunately, they were out of it, despite the menu promising that they are Never Out. The waitstaff just shrugged when I pointed out the elephant in the room. Mind you this was not during any of the recent nationwide chicken shortages. Overall, I recommend Addison Ice House for anyone looking for a good meal and drink selection in a casual atmosphere. Just be aware that Never Out is a little bit of a falsehood.

We sat down, and we re immediately greeted with menus and our drinks were out fast. Then everything went down hill. Keep in mind there were only 4 other people here. It took the waitress 10 minutes to see what we wanted to eat. She only over heard my partner complain. We ordered our appetizer and our meals since we had more than enough time to decide. I kid you not we have NEVER experienced such poor service. it took 40 minutes to get our food. THEY served our starter with our meal. Absolutely baffling. The food was average, and cold at this point since it was sitting on the bar to be served for about 20 minutes. Also our order was incorrect. Please save your money and time.

We hosted a happy hour at Addison Ice House with about 30 attendees. It was so much fun! The service was top notch, appetizers were great (and super well priced on the Wednesday special), and drink prices were great! Its a fun, laidback atmosphere and the bartenders were all so kind and attentive. Bonus that you can see the Vitruvian Christmas lights form the patio! Will definitely be be back again.

I visited this spot for Trivia Tuesdays and enjoyed the low-key and chill environment they had to offer. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was delicious! This place is located next to beautiful Vitruvian park, so it is located in a very nice area. This place is a great choice for drinks with friends and if you are into trivia, this is a good spot to do this at! I also thought their vending machine was super neat! Definitely worth checking out and returning to.

The waitress cut off my boyfriend in the fourth quarter of a Mavs playoff game. He was still pretty sober, so that was a bummer. He said the wings were average and the salad wasn t good. I had the loaded brisket queso tots and now it s the next day and I ve never been sicker in my life. Once we left there, we went to the place across the street, and when we told one of the bartenders we had just come from Addison Icehouse, he wrinkled his nose and said he s heard weird things about their brisket. This, from someone who has been living in DFW for 1 month. Long story short, this place gave me food poisoning and it wasn t even fun.

BBQ is outstanding, but beware they only make a certain amount and can run out. Call ahead if it is late. The brisket is outstanding. I have had the brisket sandwich, tacos, and quesadillas. Not a fan of pulled pork but, not their fault, my buddy loves it. My buddy and I go eat every Friday after work and have an Old Fashioned to kick off the weekend. Staff are friendly, and the view is beautiful over looking the park. I highly recommend checking it out especially if you live in the area

Give the chef a raise! Burgers from here are out of this world!! Cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth fantastic. The standard of the burgers shows that the chefs really care about the quality of the food they produce. The onion rings and fries were crunchy and tasted like fresh oil had been used. ETA (6/8/21): Gave this place another shot and reminded once again why I dont come here. I ordered brisket nachos and it had 4 pieces of meat on it and I respectfully asked for more and the waiter accused of eating the meat. If I had not been who I am I guarantee I would have not been accused of lying like that. Thankfully, the bartender had some sense of service. Never stepping foot in this place again. None of the employees were wearing masks at all or even pretending. It makes you wonder what other best practices they do not follow. Whether the owner agrees with the state mandate on masks or not, its currently required regardless of your personal opinion, and staff not wearing them puts customers in a really awkward position. This is mostly a bar to watch football esp New York teams. Its the official bar of the New York Giants. They hv a banner that says so on the wall. I would definitely go back just for the brisket! I had the opportunity to meet the owner & I was blown away at how hands on & humble he was about his establishment. I live on site & try to stop by at least 3 times a week to experience that homey feel. Great spot to unwind, meetup w/friends and family to kick it & enjoy the vibe. Also, great food selections!
