I really enjoyed this place. Plenty of basic add-in options and broth options. The family all found something they enjoyed and we were able to share food and make it our own way. Waitress was awesome and checked on us regularly and brought us drinks and extra plates. We brought a child and she seemed to love all the food options and staff was patient with her and chatted with her while we were there. Just cant seat children next to food belt or allow them to grab their own items, which was totally fine with us. Dietary restrictions: You know what youre getting because you make it yourself. Parking: Shopping strip with lots of parking spaces Kid-friendliness: Allows kids and waitress was really nice when we had a kid in our party. They just cant be seated by the belt line and an adult must grab items. Ice cream is available and the kid seemed to love all the food options available. Every seat does have a warmer so just be cautious if those are in use. Seen plenty of other families with children there.

I feel like some of you on here are being WAY too nit-picky. This place just opened, and you guys are bashing the employees for not being familiar with the place. Try to have an open mind when going to places like this. Also, theres a point for the causes in the back. More flavor. Mushroom broths are not super flavorful and the sauces can help with that. Anyways, this place is amazing. Everything tasted good, the quality was great, and the employees were really nice. I love the interactive part of this restaurant. Thats what hotpot is about. This place is something I didnt expect to come to Abilene, and Im so glad it did. Everything about this place was fantastic.

Tonkatsu base wit a little teriyaki and Korean bbq sauce mixed in is excellent. Wait staff is super friendly. Vegetarian options: Pick the food you want from the buffet to cook at your table. Dietary restrictions: Pick your own food from the buffet to cook at your table Kid-friendliness: Booster chairs and friendly staff Wheelchair accessibility: All tables have chairs, none are booths. Easy to fit a wheelchair at the table

Super underwhelming. Been waiting a year for frozen meats. They don t even have dumplings. I feel like I paid $35 for expensive ramen noodles. Something i could ve did at home. Felt very rushed to leave, im a single mom so i had to run to get things off the buffet and also cook everything in one pot for my kids, its cool to try for the experience but i dont think ill return again.

I drove 1,5hrs from San Angelo to here with my co-worker and family and so satisfied with this. As Asian. We used to eat hotpot. And this restaurant made my day. I dont have wait too long for my soup base(taste good), everything fresh. I can cook by myself whatever i want. Enjoy my food slowly when my food still hot or warm. No rushed. It s different you order something and eat fast. Will come back ASAP.

first time experiencing hot pot restaurant in small city, i really like it, i tried mala and it was not spicy as expected, but the rest of the meat is very fresh and diverse, not many options for vegetables but for me it is enough

Let me start by saying the only hot pot I have done was in Asia. The broth was not very good. My wife got tonkatsu and I got the shiitake. Neither had any flavor. The meat was all frozen in a deep freezer so it takes a little longer to cook than fresh. The vegetable options were limited. There were only a few. I was seated on the north side of the restaurant and it is a long ways to walk to the buffet. It was way overpriced for what it is. The waitress never came to refill our drinks so finally we just left. I was looking forward to this restaurant to be open but I ll probably not go back. It was like $80 for 2 people. For that price I ll go eat somewhere else better. I can t imagine this place will stay in business in Abilene. It was neat inside though.

-*Originally posted on 9/22/2024 on Yelp and forgot to submit Google version as well as visual examples*- For a soft opening and overall presentation of a new business arriving to Abilene, this was incredibly disappointing and somewhat concerning. The quality of the food was incredibly cheap, lacks consideration for the customer, and proper preparation. The still very frozen meat was placed in plastic buckets for self-service. Meats were thinly sliced and hard to get the meat out of the buckets because they were frozen together. I talked to my friend, who has worked in food service and the restaurant industry for a decade, and they stated in that state, the meat was likely defrosted, cut, and frozen again if they stuck together as much as they did. I hope theyre wrong because the fact that theyre charging fresh food prices for this cheap quality is a rip-off if not. The meat also had a very odd aftertaste when cooked, which I just hope isnt a sign of something off about the meat beyond maybe freezerburn. The broths tasted like they were prepared ahead of time and not the day of, and some werent very different in taste like the tonkatsu and bone broth. We tried tomato, tonkatsu, and bone broth in total. All were very underwhelming. Staff is just as confused as we are and didnt seem to know why the setup was arranged as it was. They were definitely not ill-mannered and very clearly wanted to help, but they were underprepared. Almost as if they were hired or just trained yesterday. We were all looking forward to enjoying this place and taking other close family if it was a positive experience, but as of today, I dont think well be back until they work out the issues we saw today.

I was there for the soft opening & my experience was amazing. I m a huge hot pot fan & I absolutely loved it. I ve only had their hot pot so far, so I cannot speak to their KBBQ yet. It s a much smaller menu than your typical hot pot spot, but it makes sense because they are just starting out. The food was incredible & the staff were so kind! For the hot pot, they have a selection of soup bases (e.g., miso, tonkotsu, mala, bone broth, tomato, & shiitake); conveyor-belt delivered vegetables (e.g., kale, zucchini, melon, napa cabbage, corn, mushrooms, kimchi, etc); meats (e.g., beef, lamb, pork, chicken, crab, shrimp, eggs, meatballs, sausage, crayfish, fish, etc); tofu (e.g., fried & plain); noddles & rice (e.g., white rice, ramen, & vermicelli), & sauces (e.g., bulgogi, gochujang, hoisin, garlic, hot chili oil, teriyaki, etc). They also had ice cream & a small drink menu. It s all-you-can-eat for 90 minutes at typical hot pot prices (M-F Lunch: $19, M-S Dinner: $29). Please have patience & understand that this is a brand new type of restaurant for a city like Abilene. They are limited on what they provide at the moment. This isn t Dallas. The space is also incredibly small (about 20-ish tables), so be prepared for a wait if you go during peak hours. I will be going here often & I can t wait to see this place grow! Vegetarian options: Vegetable hot pot & tofu available. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of non-pork options.

Im very disappointed with this place. You cook your own meal although the ingredients have been prepped. While there are several protien choices, there were very few vegetables choices. If you sit in the first section, you have to walk quite a way to pick out your meats, the only vegetables were kale, Chinese cabbage, some kind of orange squash with the rind so on it, corn on the cob, and mushrooms. I would have liked some zucchini, peas, carrots, onions. There were some noodles including a half pack of dry ramen on the carrousel. For $100 for three people, I would rather someone else cook for me. Been there, done that, but not a fan.

Place isn t even open yet and there s a fake review probably from the owner. They already have their hours of operation on google, which says they re open. Wasted my time driving there. Will not be stopping by when you do finally open.
