First time here. Audree was very pleasant and made us feel right at home. When one member if our party decided they had made the wrong choice for their meal (after they had alreafy ordered) , Audree was quick to get a new ordered prepared and delivered at noadditional charge to our ticket. We had the chicken fried steak, brisket sandwich, and fried catfish and everyone was pleased with their meals. We shall certainly return soon.

So this experience is an update to my last experience in potosi live quite frankly the service was abysmal our first order arrived and it was almost a half hour before our second part of our order arrived some of it didnt arrive at all leadership didnt get involved until late into the stay there and to be very honest the response was not satisfactory its a nice place and it has a hell of a lot of potential but not run the way it was today

Hey folks... if you didnt know, Potosi Live has completed some renovations/updating and is back open Thursday evenings again at 5PM. We just left (they actually opened the doors a little early for us). The fried shrimp with grilled vegetables and the grilled chicken sandwich and fries were good as usual! If you havent seen then stop by and try them out. They are always so welcoming!

Went there for the first time for dinner. Our server was super duper nice which made our experience went amazing. The food were delicious. Besides these dishes in pics we also ordered mac and cheese balls and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Just one thing that we didnt aware of is shrimp cocktail is mexican style not classic shrimp cocktail that come with cocktail sauce.

The blackened plate (salmon, catfish, and shrimp) was scraped clean at the end of the meal. Delicious. The Cobb salad was more than a single meal. The banana pudding was rich, more like a loose cheesecake than most puddings.

I paid 50 bucks per ticket on day 2 of ticket sales for Brett Micheals. To get within about 100 yards of the stage, I would have had to pay another 50 bucks per person to be in the vip section, which was 75 percent, or more, of the venue! A VIP section should be special seating for a few people not over half of the venue. If that is how it is going to always be then I wont be back. Thats ridiculous. There was 2 sections. VIP or NOSE BLEED equivalent

The staff and food at Potosi Live are exceptionnel! Jessica, waitress, already knows what we want and treats us like best friends. This is one of the only restaurants still flame grilling their meat and never runs out of Blue Moon! Parking: This venue has enough parking to accommodate a packed house. Kid-friendliness: Kids have coloring menues and often wander into the dance floor area to get the wiggles out and play with each other. There is so much space the kids are not in the way of wait staff or disturbing other guests. Wheelchair accessibility: With the restaurant being so open, the seating is very flexible with any seat able or accommodate extra space.

Comedians were not funny at all. No amount of alcohol could make these guys even remotely funny. The first one bombed so bad that a few people left while he was still on stage! I should have followed their lead. One comedian just told one racist joke after another. One comedian said he thought he was in the movie the children of the corn because of all the corn fields surrounding Abilene! The best part of the night was that it was I didnt have to pay for tickets to this disgraceful event. Way too much cussing! If you have to curse to tell a joke at least be funny.

The seafood boil with the change your life sauce was absolutely the worst seafood boil sauce I have ever tasted. It was extremely salty. It was like a thick gravy for mashed potatoes but extremely salty. I m young and eat seafood boils all the time so salts never a problem but this was like they accidentally poured a jar of salt inside of it. I had them take it back and also the shrimp tasted like tap water and wasn t deveined. You might be okay with just butter but don t get none of their sauces and the shrimp meat tastes like it was sitting or frozen in tap water and then warmed. Bad experience. But waiter was a decent person.

The food was fantastic. Our waitress was one of the best. She not only had her regular area, she had a table with 3 adults and 16 kids. She never neglected anyone. Great place to eat and drink with friends, listen to good music and even watch some games on the big screen. Great food, entertainment, and service. Friendly staff, food prepared perfectly. Oysters were clean and catfish fresh. Nachos and brisket on point. Live Rita is a treat.

Multitude of events are cool, but food prices are too high . Parking: Lots of parking, eager to try the camper h/ups, to cut down on the food prices.

Attended the Day Nursery of Abilene fundraiser The staff handled the crowd well and the chicken fry was really good. Great event and a great venue.

This place seems to get better and better each time we go here. I truly don t see why it s not just jam packed every day it s open we went in on Saturday evening, enjoyed a few frosted beverages, had another great meal and got to listen to some live acoustic music there might have been 6 other groups there if you haven t been, you are truly missing out on some great food, a great staff and great music.
