This simply is just a horrible place to dine. Loud, way too overly bright dining room. Service is sub par to non existing - only saw the server one time while placing the order. Never followed up or brought out requested check. Finally had to go to the front counter to chec out. Was never asked how anything was, just said $$ and that was it. Did not tip and suddenly they become vocal and pissy. The food is the worst part. Bland, cheap, low quality, greasy. That sums up the dining experience. Avoid this place.

I am not giving any business that charges extra for credit cards anything above 1 star. This establishment charges 3.5%, which you dont find out about until you go to check out. I view this as a deceptive business practice. Either take cash only, or charge every customer the same regardless of how they pay.

Small place but big flavor. Im from Odessa and was in town due to family at the hospital. Well one morning we wanted some breakfast burritos and happened to come across this spot. The food was fantastic and the service was awesome. Thanks for such great service and food.

They were busy but nice. I ask to have some onions and a little sauce extra on my enchilada because the last time i was there it was dry and no onions. The beans were to runny. The enchilada came out dry so i ask for a little extra sauce. I was not informed of extra charges for onions or sauce. I could have changed my order. Disappointed to say the least. I dont plan on going back.

I have tried a few times since they reopened after the fire. And its just never been the same, the service is down right rude and horrible, no one is forcing you to be there dont wanna work there dont be there. The food is tolerable at best so disappointed they just cant get back or even close for that matter. Wont be giving anymore chances.

If Im being completely honest.. this was second time I went and it was same as first . Meat was chewy and hard shrimp was hard and not very flavorful and the chicken was also not very good.. BTW we had shrimp chicken and steak fajitas it was a mix.. the waiter offered more water but never came back except when the meal was over.. I mean $75 for 5 people is a good price .. they just need to learn to not overcook meats.. I did give it a second chance just should have known better.. first time I went they claimed chip shortage so they would not give 2nds on chips.. Ill stick with EL CHICO..

Had a birthday for father-in-law turning 86. 6pm on a Saturday night. Attendance was very low. Owner refused to allow us to join 2 tables for 10 people! I pleaded with owner, she refused, stating that since covid (in 2020) that she was STILL relying on those rules! I told her WE WOULD REPLACE THE TABLES and she STILL REFUSED!! This was a plane that had good food. However the hot sauce was also good but too hot for American Tx mex eaters to savour. The double fajita may burrito was succulent. But!!! There was no soup and I went in there on a cold day wanting soup... no such luck. Again the food was excellent with well flavoured meat. The rice was a bit dry and the beans were not the best Id had... altogether it was a good experience!

I always give the benefit of the doubt to local businesses. This time I was very disappointed. I ordered a Carne asada. It took a long time for my food to arrive. The look of the plate was pleasing to the eye but deceiving to the mouth; it was tough when I attempted to cut the meat. I told the waiter, and he offered to give me another piece of meat. It took 30 minutes for that second carne asada to arrive. It was the same except that this second meat had less fat. I did not eat it. I paid almost 30 dollars, including the tip. I will give this place a second chance and try its enchiladas or chilaquiles. But, for the moment, I would not recommend this place.

Food was great only thing we didnt like they wouldnt let our group of 8 sit together!! Said covid protocol I could see that if we were strangers but why would strangers want to sit together?? And they had a group of eight right in the same room where they were going to sit us they were all sitting together at the same table but yet they wouldnt let us sit together what the heck?? And took forever for them to seat us !! The guy came out for the kitchen with mop and mop bucket told me Ill be with you in a minute and went and started mopping!! Priorities right?? not customer service for sure!! Finally got seated and the food was good . The only thing I dont like is stacking the hot sauce cups together and some didnt look clean . Im sorry I watch things too much I guess but I cant change too late in the game but seriously things could of been better.

Ive always liked Los Arcos and have been eating there for many many years. I have considered it the best Mexican food in Abilene. But, that seems to have changed. I suspect that the owners have sold out to someone else and now there is a huge decrease in quality. My favorite dish has been the chili rellenos, which I also ordered on this last visit. As in my previous visit 3 weeks ago, the taste was almost nonexistent. My two guests, without prompting, commented that their dishes were tasteless. UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2021: No improvement. Hard to get along with. Refused to allow us to put tables together because. It spreads too many germs. Amazing!

The food was good but the service was lacking. When we walked in the door the staff looked at us as if they wanted to tell us how dare you bother us and make us have to work. I want to say to the staff, thank you for coming in to work and helping us but please leave the attitude at home. Our server, pretty blond young lady with glasses was the only staff member that was friendly and helpful.

This was my first time to be here, although my daughter had been here once before. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and the Beautiful interior. Our waitress Danielle with absolutely amazing in the service, hospitality and graciousness. I did enjoy the food although I found the queso to be a little runny and not a whole lot of flavor. I am one of those crazy people that judge a Mexican restaurant on the chips salsa and queso. I would recommend this place highly.
