I ve been going to this practice for several years and very impressed with everyone I ve met. I try to pre-check in to make the process quicker. Dr. Finley listens first, then asks questions. He is also not afraid to speak direct when necessary. Dr. Finley isnt harsh, he just tell the truth in the manner required to get the message across. Furthermore, he listens for your response to make sure you understand what he is communicating. He is kind, but speaks the facts that need to be told, not necessarily the ones you want to hear. They always have problems with answering the phone. Once I get get close in line I am hung up on. I m currently on hold for the 10th time and I m sure the phone will disconnect before I get to speak to a person. I have experienced this off and on for a year. Please take care of this issue!

The staff was professional & courteous, very efficient. Visit was on time and excellent explanation of each step, from check-in to (ugh!) weigh-in. I know how hard it is to stay on schedule but somehow, he was right on time, knew my problem list and had a plan to address each issue. The doctor is absolutely amazing my wife used to go here, but recently moved back into town and she needed somewhere to go, after 5 calls they finally answered (seemed like they were answering and just hanging up without saying anything with the way the music, then stopping like they answered) but just didn t say anything and hung up. An update regarding our visit with Dr. Jamie Willits. Its impressive that, working in a situation of massive Covid/flu/pneumonia/RSV, AFMA is doing everything possible to keep patients safe, even to the extent of going out into the cold weather themselves to treat the sick. I really appreciate Dr. Willitss and Candice Chapmans compassionate expertise and readiness to listen, to explain, to answer questions, then to follow up thoroughly, treating their patients with dignity and concern. Another good session with Allison Ball. I will mention here that several weeks prior to this visit, she called me on a Sunday to deliver test results that had been delayed; such conscientious caring is rare! I came for blood work a week ago--only a short wait, minimal exposure--a wise set of procedures these days. Current concerns were handled expeditiously, with tests the same day to deal with a new issue, and another test to be scheduled at some future time. Results back the next day on one of the tests, and already delivered to me. I do appreciate the AFMA staff! Updating older post, below...I just had a wonderful first appointment with Allison Ball--a personable, caring, thorough professional with whom I feel very fortunate to be placed. She was careful to take the time to go over my profile, listened to my concerns, gave me credit for a little sense, and made considered recommendations. She reported my test results the very next morning (though, since the patient portal website is down, I wont be able to see them till Athenahealth fixes its server problem... but thats not AFMAs issue; its just good to know results are in so fast.) Always thankful that AFMA is there for me! I am so grateful to AFMA for scheduling me quickly! Christy Bain is knowledgeable, thorough, caring, and always willing to give each patient quality time. With one body and one life assigned to each of us, its a blessing that AFMA can be trusted with both! Another fine visit with Dr. Willits; she is always so patient and knowledgeable, and ready to address any questions or concerns; its helpful to know that any visit with her will provide the best possible medical care. My lab test results were again available the next day, which I appreciate, as theres usually some concern as to the findings; its wonderful to be able to depend on the efficient work of the lab staff.

Absolutely love the staff and the Doctors at this office. I would walk all the way back if needed. The team is great. From the front office all the way back. Very professional, passionate and personable. You just can t get a better line up of Doctors and team members.

I appreciate that these folks are on time. I love going into my appointment when its schedule and getting my butt back to work before I used up all my personal time. 05/30/24 - Still running on time. I dont think that I have ever had a more personable M.D. I really appreciate all the follow up Dr. Duke and staff do for the betterment of my health.

Friendly staff, everything is clean, Dr WILLITS is friendly, answers my questions I m very satisfied with her as my doctor. My only complaint is the wait time is ridiculous 30 minutes in the waiting room and another 30 minutes in the exam room. And I m asked to arrive 15 minutes early and that adds to the wait time.
