Contacted company about an Injury I received at work that happened 5 years ago. The company I worked for was Harris Acoustics. They gave me false information. When I told them they said they couldnt help and I would have to go somewhere else. They didnt call me I had contact them. They said they would look into it and let me know what I needed to do. None of this happened. I would say they dont communicate with their clients very well. Just more lawyers from Abilene Texas that only wants to make a buck and isnt concerned about the law.

After waiting a YEAR, with a previous attorney who did nothing with my case AND missed my pretrial diversion date so I couldn t go that route, I hired Jacob and Taryn. Not only did they make me feel confident in my case again - a case in which I did not commit any type of crime - they got the judge to count the year I had waited as my parole served, and the case was dismissed once I completed 20 service hours. We even discussed what it would cost to get my record expunged in the future. As a 25 year old with a college degree and their whole life ahead of them, this is quite literally a life saving effort they made happen for me. Fantastic and honest crew. 12/10 stars if I could rate that high.

Jacob Blizzard and Karisa Hagle were amazing at helping my fiance and I get him released. They were in contact with us and were consistent with replying and answering my questions in a timely manner. Even after the charges got dropped, they didnt stop helping until parole reinstated him and he was officially released. It was decently fast as well. Abilene is not known for speedy process within law enforcement here. Jacob Blizzard got the charges dropped and full reinstatement with parole in 6 months. They are amazing at what they do and I am so grateful for them.

I went to this place originally based on the google reviews in my area and they were about as good as I hoped for. Karisa communicated when things needed to be done and Jacob was informative of options and let me decide the approach while giving the expertise in the outcomes of all approach angles. With my knowledge of the legal system I was worried about snake oil lawyers and I think we all are. These guys aren t that. They actually pick up the phone and actually say they re going to do what they say. It s really about the best you need. You can tell by the office and stuff they know what they re doing but the many awards and reviews don t come from nothing guys. No one wants to have to deal with doctors and lawyers, they re a necessary evil but like a good doctor these guys make you comfortable. Make the call. That s step1 then they handle the rest of the steps.

Nobody wants to hire an attorney; however, at times we need one and there is NO BETTER in West Texas than Blizzard and Zimmerman Law Firm. They dig through every piece of evidence and research laws, pertaining to your case. When facing a lengthy jail or prison sentence for a crime that I didnt commit, Jacob Blizzard found the evidence that proved I was nit guilty and got all of the charges dismissed. Sarah Durham is also an amazing attorney and handled the expungment hearing. Yes, even when charges are dismissed, the arrests still show on your criminal history. So remember that if youre arrested, for any offense, the arrest show forever, unless theyre expunged or sealed. I cant express how proud I am to have had Blizzard and Zimmerman on my side. Jacob and his team are the best at what they do. They are all very kind and work hard to get the job done. I had 3 misdemeanors and 3 felonies for child abandonment with intent to return after i was assaulted in domestic violence. I had a very serious criminal case that was not looking good at all. I thought there was no way out. Thought it was over in real life. I REALLY did my research because Im not from Texas, I caught the case while I was working on the road, and I knew absolutely no one in a 2000 mile radius. I called around to a few attorneys and they gave me cheaper prices than Jacob but they did NOT give me a good feeling. I felt they were taking my ignorance of the legal system and trying to benefit off of it because one attorney gave me a 6 digit number to get the results Jacob gave me. I could not have asked for a better attorney and MAN as a whole. He never lied to me or left me out of the loop. Morgan and her assistant Yazmin did what 7 other lawyers told me wasn t possible. I was seeking a non discloser before the 5 year waiting period. Every lawyer said they couldn t do it. One lawyer told me my best bet was Blizzard and Zimmerman. I called that day, had an appointment set up 4 days later and not even a month after sending the petition to the Judge it is already granted. I had the pleasure of having Dax represent me on a probation violation case. Probation gave me a fingerprint drug test and it came up positive for THC, but I know for a fact that I wasnt using. They were ready to send me off to that rehabilitation program. So I was stressing about having to be sent away for 9 months jeopardizing losing my truck my place of residence and everything else I had worked hard for. So I let a few months pass by and decided to find a lawyer to help me fight that violation. So I got online and was searching for lawyers and came across Blizzard & Zimmerman law office. So I reached out to them and told them what I was dealing with and they gave me the idea candidate to represent me which was Dax. A God fearing man that was passionate about helping people thats willing to help themselves. When I was reading the reviews I noticed that he used to be a former probation officer here in Taylor county, So I knew he was the perfect person to take up my case. When I went inand talked to him he told me he was going to do everything in his power to keep me from having to go to that rehabilitation place and he kept it straight forward with me, he told me he was going to do his part as long as I did my part. He sent me text messages and he made phone calls to me updating me on what he had heard from the head people in the probation office. I can only comment on my experience with Mr. Blizzard . I would have been better off with a 3rd grader representing me. He told me that any charges that werent resolved when th PSI came out would not count against me as points on my fed case so I subsequently pled guilty to a check charge I was innocent of because they offered me a time served plea and I wanted to go to court without any other charges pending and he lied and said he never told me that then on top of that he was supposed to show up so we could go over the PSI so we could dispute some things on it and he never showed. The next time I saw him was in court and he rolled over like a puppy in court. Very unprofessional and should be ashamed of the defense he renders me.

We went there and tried to get custody or even ask where to begin and Zimmerman didn t even sit down with us for 5 minutes and let us give any information or backstory or even a part of what was going on. We were trying to get his kids out of a unhealthy environment and Zimmerman didn t even sit down to listen to us. And guess what things have gotten worst. first of all i was f****ed and looking at some serious time on an Alleged felony charge of engaging in criminal activity charge i was told by my court appointed attourney theres was nothing he could do, i was going to do prison time, i called jacob blizzard who was reffered to me, and man did he deliver, not only was i granted felony probation, but after 1/3 of my probation time Sarah Duram from his office filed a motion for early release as well as dissmissal and discharge. i was released from 9 years probation 5 years early, and my plea was withdrawn and my case dissmissed. Matt helped my parents create wills, health care directives, and powers of attorney. He and his staff worked directly with us and even spoke on the phone on multiple occasions to make sure my parents wishes were fully understood before drawing up the documents. Then he personalized an LLC that will help generations of our family enjoy our shared land. Matt met with us and explained everything in detail. I came to Mr. Blizzard with what I thought was an impossible battle. I saw no way to prove my innocence and was faced with one difficult choice after another. Mr. Blizzard and his team brought hope to me and my family. They offered a hand to help pick me up from the despair I had fallen into. They looked all the evidence, or the lack there of, and took my own personal life story into account and found a way out. Im still in shock of the quality of work the team did. They were able to get my case dismissed and gave me back my future in the process. If I ever find myself in a legal situation again, I will be coming here with no hesitation. Both Mr. Blizzard and Shelley were very professional and personal.
