Slowwwww drive thru experience. I have learned to only do mobile orders and even then you may still have to wait in store when you get there. Parking: Small parking lot, very busy strip mall area. Traffic is crazy all around that restaurant. Be careful.

Amazing place i go almost every day the wraps are amazing,try all the smoothies! i highly recommend the Bahama mama and their seasonal watermelon mojito. food wise i recommend the chipotle chicken club and the carribean jerk chicken without the pineapple salsa but overall everything is amazing however, employees can be a bit careless either being monotone or trying to rush you or even forgetting your main order/sides/add ons when placing an online order. I highly dont recommend curbside they will not come to you, go through drive thru instead and say you have a pick up order for First name, Last initial but overall one of my favorite places to go for a good healthy meal Vegetarian options: Majority of the menu is fruit/vegetable based and any meats can be swapped out Dietary restrictions: information on Calorie intake along with sugars and ingredients are labeled online or can be provided at the location, modifications can be made to any menu option. Parking: There is a decent amount of parking its mainly a drive through restaurant but there is other parking nearby Wheelchair accessibility: There is a slope by the yellow striped area right up front

Food is fine but the service is horrendous. I placed a curbside order and arrived at the cafe when it was quoted to be ready. I waited in my car for over 30 minutes in the pick up space and after waiting this amount of time I finally went inside so ask when my food would be ready. One lady looked over at a row of bags and handed me my food. I have no idea how long it had been ready for but both my smoothies were melted and my food was cold. Editing to add: half our food was either missing or wrong. I m extremely disappointed

I really love the food, but this is already two days in a row they do not notice the curbside pickup. I sat for 30 minutes each yesterday and today. Yesterday I had to call them to tell them I was here, even though I checked in on the app. Today I gave up and went inside. Not a good place to order from if you are a busy person or in a hurry. 30 minute lunches from work are out of the question with this place. Dont risk it if youre just taking a quick lunch break from work. Make sure you have plenty of time to wait or are just willing to go inside. Not curbside friendly. Super upsetting.

Service is pretty bad. I think there were nearly half a dozen employees too. Slow and careless with an attitude. There is no curbside. Im pretty sure the staff parks in the curbside designated spots and if you try using it in the app, complete all the steps, youll still have to go in and get your order. Many of the smoothie ingredients are from concentrate juices... i.e. kiwi. Flavorings like chocolate are artificial. Im sure the food isnt much different. Probably modified ingredients or even msg. Odd for a supposed healthy restaurant.

Great little Cafe, love to go to this place then to Starbucks. Its more fruit smoothies and little sandwiches and stuff but they make it to order well I think maybe 65% of the menu. The smoothies are a must always. Get the app because you can get points and on your birthday a free smoothie which is awesome. This place in particular is very clean clean bathrooms so its a good 4 out of 5.

First off... Get the app! They offer specials and/or freebies on there regularly. I was surprised by the menu here. Theres a lot more than I expected. And everything Ive tried has been really good. I love the fact that you can decide the sweetness level of your smoothie, or add different things you like or want. The reason I gave 4*s for service is because they always seem short-handed. Theyre almost always busy so just expect a wait if you dont order ahead. Overall, highly recommend. Parking: Every spot they have thats specifically for the restaurant is labeled for pick up only. There is other parking very close by but its just strange to me that theres not one spot.

I tasted everything, and before I realized it was almost gone and I forgot to get pictures. SO YUMMY! The Avocolada Smoothie tasted great and was slightly sweet; I would never have guessed spinach and kale were in it! It was very smooth! No bits of ice. I also got the Chicken Pesto Flatbread and Sweet Potatoes. It all was so good and I will definitely return!

I ordered the chicken bacon ranch flatbread with a bag of jalapeño chips as an online curbside order and it came out perfect with the modifications I did to it and fast. Ordered a smoothie, and it came with peanut butter even though I didnt ask for it. Other smoothie was watered down. I Ordered a vegetarian burrito and it came with CHICKEN!! WTH. Called to inform management and was hung up on, so i called corporate. This place isnt just bad its dangerous!!!! Reply to owners comments: I dont need it made right, corp already made it right, as i told your staff all i wanted was my money back and no attitude. I have shopped at this location quite a lot and was satisfied with my orders. I would still be a customer if your GM (auburn or something with an A sry, our conversation was tense but I was not rude only direct as i felt like I was getting a song and dance) had she acted like she cared about me as a customer or her job for that matter I would still be. Have you considered customer service training for your GMs? (rhetorical). Anyway this was a very regrettable situation and I will never patronize any tropical smoothie again. I would worry about a lawsuit if I were you, not from me but the next person this location almost kills.

Two years ago I left a five star review and started coming consistently. Im not sure what happened since then but its gotten worse and worse. What finally prompted me to update my review was being handed a smoothie in my car that was over flowing and dripping down every side to the point that it felt like an April Fools joke. WARNING: PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECIEPT BEFORE LEAVING THE DRIVE THRU. My family and I visited Tropical Smoothie last night on 2/09/2023. I thought it was really strange for the drive thru clerk to not let us complete the transaction after the pin was entered like we tend to do when visiting and placing our order. This time the clerk completed the transaction after they gave us back our card. They decided to slip in a tip onto our receipt thinking we wouldnt review those details later on. We never approved for that to be added when we paid for our order. I did bring this to the attention to the manager on duty over the phone before returning there to get a refund. I appreciate them willing to work with us, but their silence over the phone once I told them about it was incredibly concerning. I really love going here, and this has never happened before. We normally dont grab smoothies later in the night either. I didnt think time played a role in a place I thought to always be legit and cool with customers. Im rating this at half because the smoothies they make there are still awesome, and any other workers there continue to do a great job. Just please, dont try stealing money from other people I beg of you. Thats 100% not okay. :(

I tried to like this place but due to the customer service I would give no stars. Once I ordered water with my smoothie and they charged me without advising me they were. Another time I got a buy one get one free coupon because of previous poor care went to use it buying a kids smoothie and ask for 2 with the coupon , she said what size would you like ? I told the lady (blonde girl) that I was in the drive thru and that maybe their headsets were off. She completely ignored me and said what can I get for you. I said,Did you hear me? And she said,Yes, what can I get for you?. She could have apologized but she decided to be rude about it. Me and my husband ordered two smoothies and a quesadilla to share. We re there for 30 mins just to get our food. They hardly had any customers in the building and drive through. A DoorDasher came picked up food, left, and then came back because their order was wrong. I don t know what was going on. But it was very irritating to wait that long. Smoothies are great. But had an issue with the food. I cant eat lettuce I have gastroparises, and I ordered a wrap with no romaine and of course it comes so full of romaine I cant even pick it out. So wasted money cant even eat it. That was seriously the only change to my order no romaine. I dont do it for fun I miss eating salads. I did call the store talked to a manager and she was wonderful. When I spend 7 minutes driving to the place as well as waited 5-10 minutes and y all have had the order longer than I have, you should have the customers delivery orders ready to go out the door. You basically end of paying $$ for stuff your most likely not getting. Basic law of mass and volumes. I had gotten the Blimey Limey and Sunrise Sunset drink, both taste really good although I wish the Sunrise Sunset drink wasnt so sour. Other than that, very nice place and excellent/fast service :)

The smoothies here are great, they should really just stick to that. The amount of money they charge for their bowls and side is ludicrous when you consider you only get half a handful of corn kernels and a bowl that is 90 percent lettuce. Terrible value.

The food and smoothie was fresh and delicious!! I clicked on place an order o kine and somehow ended up placing a pick-up order via postmates. The store manager himself brought my order to me to ask how I had ordered. We were both confused but he was super friendly day and told me about their app and that they would be happy to directly fill any order request for me. I am in Abilene for work this week and will be going back everyday for lunch!!

I had the Pomegranate and mixed Fruit smoothie OMGOSH!!!!!! it was so good! It was big too!! I was not expecting a drink that big! With the cost of $5 and some change I was pleased that it was big and this place really thinks about their customers! They made it fast and I will be back!!!!! Thank you I have never been to Tropical Smoothie Cafe!!! When I got up to the order Kiosk/board thing to order I saw that the Smoothies only come in one size and it was $4.99 or $5. Looking at all the Smoothies they were all close to that price. That is the reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. They really are top quality and have the best Smoothies there are!!!! 1 It would be great if the drinks were offered in two sizes. I understand just one size keeps things simple for the Employees! Plus prices simple. I just would NOT purchase my 5, 7, and 8 year old grandchildren a Smoothie that cost $5 and then only drink half or less!! We all know kids!!! Not a single one of them would want the same thing and be able to split it! Lol

Nice service, tasty food, delicious smoothies. They have a disclaimer sign that says they cant guarantee allergen-free items, but they always offer to sanitize their equipment when they make my moms smoothie, because shes allergic to strawberries. Above and beyond. Only thing Id change is how they wear their masks. Only one of the girls was wearing her mask properly.

My favorite place to eat at in Abilene for every meal if I could. Great delicious options for adults and kids! Great customer service, polite, respectful and they try their best to be as fast as they can. The owner is one of the best owners I have met here in Abilene, my order was not right and he himself made it right! Highly recommend it !

I swear, theyll blend your smoothie faster than you can drive up to the window. For hot foods, you may have to wait longer than 10secs. Maybe about 120 seconds. I recommend the Chicken Pesto. Also, the Three Cheese Chicken Quesadilla is the best fast food quesadilla ever.

Good Lord this place is expensive. Its good, and the smoothie sizes are good for the price, but the food is EXPENSIVE and SMALL for what you pay. I have had a flat bread from here and a sandwhich, but only because I was invited out so I didnt have to pay for the food. We just shared one thing because between that and two drinks we were paying like $18 . So I wont go here alone and havent really craved anything Ive tried.
