Wow!! as a gen-z i m very skeptical of places that aren t chain but had a family member encourage me to check this place out. food was PHENOMENAL- got two large burgers with everything on it, sides of okra and onion rings, drinks, AND a shake for under $20. while the hours aren t ideal and no credit cards aren t ideal- this is the kind of place you ll want to carry cash for. very well priced and when you go, you ll get a good feel for abilene! definitely will be recommending to people as an abilene must!

Just not the same anymore...no flavor,,thin patties...all my life my grampa took me to Larrys for a good juicy burger. Ive been disappointed the last 3x so no longer will pick them over Bills burgers...they are fat juicy and flavor in every bite! Parking: Its hard to get in and out of traffic on Treadway and always see near accidents.

Tried it out. Sorry the fry s was withered and greasy. Cheap iceberg shredded lettuce they called a salad. You can easy tell the chicken fingers was cooked in the same old grease as the fry s. The hours of operation window is small.BUT .. I did enjoy the burger . It did looked thrown together but was still delicious . They should just stick to burgers.

Good old-fashioned burger joints are difficult to find these days but I was able to find one in Larrys Better Burger Drive-In. The staff was lovely, the food was hot, the order was correct, and my grumbly tummy was filled with tastiness. I particularly enjoyed their fries. Key things to keep in mind: They are a walk-up window burger joint and they only accept cash. I hope you enjoy this eatery as much as I did. Kid-friendliness: People seem more interested in their food than the road. Watch your children when they are standing with you while waiting for your food to avoid potential accidents. Wheelchair accessibility: Its fairly ADA-friendly. Im sure if you called them (if you couldnt get up to the building for some reason), they would come take your order to your car. The staff is very nice and accommodating.

Best burger in Abilene and the price you cant beat it. Meat had nice flavor, cheese wad melted, veggies were crisp with a great crunch. The only thing I would recommend is adding a second patty for more optimal bun to meat ratio. The onion rings are practically an experience! The batter is crispy with great flavor the onion inside nice and tender. Try the chili cheese dog, yes the chili has beans in it but man oh man is it a great flavor. We received 2 burgers with cheese, a side of fries, a side of onion rings and a chili cheese hot dog. It was only just over 15 bucks! Cant beat that! The hours are slim only open M-F and closing at 4pm but if you can make the stop it is worth jt!
