Prices were good, easy communication in the estimate process. The receptionist was great helping make some last minute changes to our work order. Grant Knight was professional and friendly from the beginning to the end of our projects. He hung a storm door, fixed caulking in our shower., and replaced the faucet in our sink. We had a couple of unforeseen issues that inevitably come up but he offered suggestions that made it work perfectly! Thanks Grant! Thanks HoneyDo!

I requested for the trees and lawn mowing for approx 2-3 acres? The lawn looked nice and clean and the clean-up was good. The trees were ok, except the only thing I didnt notice until a day after, was the stray, extra limbs on the side of the trees were not removed and the dead limbs were not removed either (on the tress they trimmed) l do appreciate the willingness to satisfy the customer and the professionalism. I will use the company again for other MISC jobs. I give 3.5-4 . The star rating sytem provided wont allow for in between Thank you

Fantastic experience. The person who came and gave me an estimate was clean cut and knowledgeable. Explained how the business works and setup a date for the job to get done. I recommend Honey Do Services in Abilene for neatly finishing those chores on my When I have help/time list! John neatly prepared & painted the peeling eves, front door & all weathered wood in the front of my brick veneer home. He also replaced a corroded tub drain in the bath. Michael worked in the attic to add additional electric plugs where needed & checking out the safety of my electrical system. Zach came to finish the job of prep & painting my dog scratched back door. He then replaced all 4 feet on my washer. No more traveling, banging washer! Thank you, Gentlemen, for completing my To Do list for Spring.

I hired Honey Do to finish metal work on the outside of my metal home. The job involved significant design, cutting, folding, and installation of metal on the roof line. The company assigned John and Kevin to this job. I cant recall nicer, more efficient, knowledgable workers on any work that I have hired out. They both performed their jobs exceptionally well and I am very happy with the results. Both employees were friendly and professional and watching them work was an inspiration. John, in particular, was charged with designing and building the various parts, including working around various inconsistencies in the house construction, and Kevin worked tirelessly to install the parts. I happily now have a completed home of which I am proud. Thanks, guys.

My mailbox fell over. I called Honey Do Service. I spoke with Shelly, she was very polite and helpful. They came out right away and gave me an estimate to set the mailbox in concrete. They were able to temporarily stand the mailbox up so I could receive my mail until they were able to permanently set it in concrete. Chris called to inform me that they were coming out to do the work sooner than the scheduled appointment. Chris went out of his way to meet me at my office twice, to get paperwork signed, as it was an inconvenience for me to meet him at my house. Kevin did a great job setting the mailbox. It is standing strong now and their work is under warranty! I couldnt be happier with the job they did, everyone was so nice and helpful! The tradesmen (Michael, Tim, and Josh) and tradeswoman (Izzy) worked to make sure I was pleased with my renovation. They arrived on time each morning and worked all day. Michael and Devin were an awesome duo!! They worked really hard to make everything just right. The work was well done and they did not leave until it was working properly. They even stayed after hours to make certain I was not left without water! As I had a lot of maintenance issues that were being addressed, they were at my house for several days and were comfortable to have in my home and as a single mom that is important! They were both very respectful and well groomed. The prices were reasonable, not cheap but considering they accomplished what was needed, that was alright. I will use them again in the future.

Had them install a cellular booster antenna that involved running coax from a high point on our house through the attic and out an interior wall. Daniel with HoneyDo did a great job! Estimate and work were done quickly and everything was as promised. Daniel was professional and we felt comfortable having him in our home and doing work that involved heights and a very hot attic. Could we have done it ourselves? Sure, but us doing it DIY would have taken at least twice as long and only after buying a new extension ladder and tools to fish cable out of the wall and running the risk of falling off said ladder or dying in our attic when it was 107 degrees. Money well spent and we would use HoneyDo again.

We needed our back fence reinforced with metal fence posts and Daniel drilled down and set 5 poles in concrete, replaced 2 fence pickets and installed the gate latch. From the prompt, free inspection and quote and general kindness and helpfulness of the inspector, I should have known working with Honey Do would be a pleasant experience. I wasnt wrong. When the workman, Steven, arrived to complete the set work he was just as pleasant and helpful as the inspector. He was quiet, even when on the roof, and let me know when he was near the end of his work so that I could prepare to complete the paperwork. He was even able to point out some spots that may cause us trouble in the future. Overall, this was a great experience, and I will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you, Honey Do!

We hired Honey Do to sheetrock and texture a bedroom, bathroom and closet area. The original quote said the job would take 2 weeks, but it took them 4 weeks just to do the sheetrock. The texture job they did was terrible, but they told us once we painted it it would look good. Not true. They finally came out and tried to make it right. The next texture guy did a much better job, but the guy they hired to repaint it got paint everywhere. I don t think he put a drop cloth on anything. He even left footprints where he stepped in the paint all over our new carpet! They did send a girl out that somehow was able to get the carpet all cleaned up thank goodness. They were suppose to send someone to touch up and finish fixing all the other problems, but they never showed and they would never return our calls. I would never use them again or recommend them.

DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ACTIVE DUTY MEMBERS. Shortly after moving to Abilene and into our new home our refrigerator stopped working. We called this company to come and fix it. At first I was thrilled because they could come out next day and have a look. But what was originally thrilled soon turned into exhaustion. The person who came to fix our appliance was consistently late and had very poor communication. He put a part in our fridge that still did not work. Charged us $280 for the part and the fee to come fix it and only gave half of it back when nothing worked. So now I still have a broken fridge and I m out $140. I do not recommend to anyone but especially active duty members who just moved here and are having a hard time financially because of PCSing.

I called this business several months ago and a nice guy came out and we talked about what needed to be done. I didnt hear from anybody so I called and the person who answered told me she was at the hospital with a family member and she would get back to me (?) No one ever called. I followed up again last week because the guy seemed to know what he was talking about. The same woman told me she was making a bank run and would call me back and never did. Strange way to do business .

I called them and asked them to come give me a quote for some electric work . They came and gave me a quote and the following Monday I called and asked the girl if they were going to provide a generator for my refrigerator while they do the work. She said she would have to ask and get back to me. Monday afternoon I called and told her I needed to make a decision and when was she going to find out. Again she said she didnt know that the guy she was supposed to ask was busy. Ok here I sit Tuesday morning and again no phone call. Well I went with another company .They had also told me that it would take 2 weeks to be put on the schedule, well Im not giving you half the money and your not gonna show up for 2 weeks. You lost my business. I guess your so busy you dont need new customers. Wow!! All I can say!!

We had some installations done at our home by Honey Do service and they did an great job installing the bathroom vanity, tile in the garage, and outlet! The man was professional and worked efficiently. Jason adjusted our contract when needed. I would highly recommend them for your installation needs!

Ive had Justin our several times for odds and ends, and hes always prompt and dependable! He recently installed two wall-mounted TVs in my home; he came in at HALF the price Geek Squad was going to charge me! Even better, on several occasions Justin and his crew have DONATED their talents on various Dyess We Care Team project when weve gotten in over our heads. LOVE Honey Do!!

I ve read the positive reviews on here, so maybe our experience was just an aberration. We paid over 600 for some minor grout patching in the bathroom, and one of our lighting fixtures to be lifted. The lifting of the fixture went well. But the grout work was only just over halfway done, and that s on top of me having to point out obvious areas the repairman had missed before he left. I don t know; perhaps it was an off day. But at this price, I expected quality work. UPDATE: so, the company called me and asked me about my initial review. I told him what happened, and he said they always want customers to be pleased with their services, so if I wasn t happy, their job wasn t complete. He sent a worker out to my house to complete the job, and afterwards, it looked great! I was really impressed with the fact that the company cares if they receive criticism, and are obliged to make it right. Not many companies feel that way nowadays, so this was very refreshing. In fact, I have more work for them to do, as I now know they care about their job and company reputation. To that end, I d have to give them 5 stars:)

They turned my sunroom into my favorite place in the house. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and their quality of work was impeccable. From what I understand, they do all types of home repair and improvement, so I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to my friends and family.
