Very beautiful! The playground looks nice and lots of disk golfing available. However I have been advised by APD to not be here after dark.

Great park needs more shaded areas and also a canopy over the playground for the children. But it is very clean spacious and peaceful. Toilets: Many restroom stops within the entire park about 5 different restrooms.

The playground was dirty, trash lying around, dog poop in the middle of the big playground, and it smelled like sewage. The smaller slide in the big kid section was extremely uncomfortable and hurt my sons booty. It does seem popular for disc golf.

Pretty good experience. I wish it were more handicapped accessible for those of us who want to accompany our friends and family who are playing or want to play ourselves, but for the most part, I was able to manage.

Wonderful place to bird watch. I get to see woodpeckers, blue jays, robin red breasts, cardinals. I truly appreciate the atmosphere. Could use more shady spots but it s an absolute treat for me when I come here.

Great park for disc golf. Shares with playground and tennis/basketball courts at one point. Course starts on inner park street. Winds up and down and across Catclaw Creek a couple of times. You do have to cross over creek by using sometimes busy bridge (walking towards traffic on sidewalk). Both short and long baskets. Bring your disc finder-just in case you don t clear the creek shot! Some have trees that may just show you love. Only downside: beware the red ants-They are everywhere!

No recent experiences, but something got me started thinking about Will Hair Park recently. Really dont know what it was, but among other things, I began thinking there must have been someone named Will Hair in Abilenes history, and sure enough, Will Hair was Abilenes mayor from 1937 - 1947. Sounds like he was very popular. So all thats good to know. Another memory I have of Will Hair Park is having little league practice there when I was a kid... would have been in the 60s! But by far, my favorite memory of Will Hair Park - and no disrespect to the honorable namesake of this park intended here - but someone (not me!) modified one of the signs that is prominently visible from Ambler Avenue to read WILD HAIRY park. By modifying the last L and adding a Y. Im not into vandalism, but I thought at the time it was pretty clever. Still do. Haha... enough to think about it 55 years later! Now if Will Hair happened to have a middle initial of N, it could be taken to a new level. (Things - even in Abilene of all places - were kind of wild n hairy in the 60s!)

Great park nice roads to walk your dog friends. 19 hole disc golf treacherous creek hazard winds its way around several holes. The trees prove an obstacle as well. Playground for it kids. Several covered picnic areas. All in all nice place to unwind and relax. But please slow on the roads cars, the slow pace is what makes parks so nice.

The park and ball fields are in very good shape. The public restrooms were in good shape and seemed safe. The disc golf course was in very good condition and well marked. The creek and trees made it a fun course to play and it was a challenge as the water and some hills came into play on several holes.

This park is well taken care of but does not have much as far as entertainment. You can play baseball frisbee gold or you can play on their generic playground. It does haveca stream going through the middle though.

Great park. Lots of space and two bathrooms with covered seating next to them on different sides of the park. There is a playground for the kiddos, and disc golf for the older set. We play the will hair course all the time and it is great for beginners as well as pros. A creek throughout adds to the parks atmosphere and a road runs through it for walking, jogging, or biking if you would like.

This park is really nice! Off the main Ambler road, there are lots of picnic tables, awesome swing sets for kids and Littles. A nice playground for elementary age as well as one for the Littles! Ive been told the creek has fish, and I theres a disc golf course too.
