Nice park but some kind of construction going on by the creek. Playground: Playground includes a water play area. Disc golf available. Picnic area: Covered picnic area near the playground and water play area. Picnic tables spaced apart for smaller parties.

Pavillion, volleyball court, restrooms, and playground all close by along with good shade. The only thing lacking is the splashpad is lacking some key features that 2 others in town have...SLIDES! If your kiddo has gone to one of the others they will find this one lack luster and if you are one of those cool adults that actually likes playing with your kids on occasion.. this is a small let down as well! It is a nice park though! Just needs a little more investment in the actual splashpad to equalize it to a couple other ones in town.

Be sure you have your kids wear swimming shoes at the splash pad. Parents allowed their kids to pee in the water features even though the restroom is 10 paces away.

Fun place for warm weather play. The kids really enjoyed it. Would be very beneficial to have more shaded seating rihjt near the playground. Hard for moms with littles to keep them in the shade while bigger kids play. Playground: Playground was in good repair and had sufficient mulch. Equipment was available for all ages. We had a larger group of kids and found it challenging for everyone to get a turn on swings...would be great to have more. Also no shaded seating for moms with babies. Toilets: Not much to write about....OK repair but not exactly robust sanitation option at kid heights.

The City of Abilene needs to get this one up to working order and on par with the other splash pads! Just because its not in an affluent part of town there are 4 apartment complexes and its surrounded by homes that have Kids that would like to enjoy a fully functional splash pad. When I went by about 1mo. ago the buckets werent working and if you wanted to cool off you literally would have had to sit down to get a stream of water on you! Its not right to neglect it due to its location! #CityofAbilene

It was nice as far as not being crowded...but the splash pad drains and causes a big mud puddle that everychild in our group stepped in and its surrounded by stickers that when you goto retrieve the children from being in the mud you get stickers in your feet.

This park was awesome! It was very clean. The restrooms were a lot cleaner and better than most park restrooms. The splash pad my kids loved. We had it to ourselves for about 1.5hrs. There was so many places to sit. Even better all the shade this park offers. Can t wait til we can come back and visit.

Its always clean and quiet and were the only ones there most of the time I love it never had a bad experience there and my kids play the park guys are always doing their job theres never any weirdos bad kids nothing I love this place I do wish they had some slides or something but other than that its great

This park was very clean. The bathroom was the cleanest park restroom Ive seen in my whole life. And the splash pad was pretty cool too. My grandkids had fun there for one of my granddaughters birthday party.

Would have been perfect if the rules clearly posted on signs about pets was enforced. Called police and animal control twice each. Nobody did anything. The dog was extremely agressive. Somebody will get bitten... Then whose is responsible???

Nothing like an early morning walk through the four-way and slowly meandering down a side road to thee park. Had a very peaceful solo freestyle session to some old SPM Beats. I would definitely recommend South Park Mexican and Scarborough Park to any stranger on the street

The park is in a good part of town and its maintained well. The splash pad in the summer is one of my favorite things about it. Also if you play Pokemon Go they have 2 gyms there and a Pokestop.
