I got delivery and both our pancakes came with no toppings at all which really bummed us out. No strawberries for the strawberry cheesecake stack or cream cheese topping for the pumpkin pancakes. My mac and cheese was also ice cold, like it just came out of the fridge, actually cold while the rest of the food was warm. Sausage links where also pretty burned, I have been to quite a few Ihops that Ive enjoyed but I am just REALLY disappointed in this experience.

After we were seated at a dirty table, the waiter immediately told us he was tired and couldn t wait to go home then told us there was no juice or waffles. We ordered waters and coffee. He brought us to-go coffee cups because he said they didn t have any clean cups. The restaurant was not busy at all. He finally took our food order and when the food came out, we requested silverware. You d think he d immediately go her us silverware so we could begin eating but no, we watched him walking around doing other things. After a few minutes, I just went up there a demanded they give us silverware. I really didn t think it was to much to ask for. Someone else finally got me some. I returned to the table some choir being eating and about 5-10 minutes later, he finally showed up with some. We still had to wait on our pancakes to complete our meal. The whole experience sucked. I doubt we ll return there anytime soon.

Should have known thered be a problem when we came in and the group leaving was telling the manager how horrible the wait times for EVERYTHING had been. From refills to straws to ordering to actually getting food. Manager tried asking if they had stayed at their table like maybe the stuff was slow because they moved? What a joke. The attitude the waitress gave told us everything we needed to know about the situation when she brought their check up to the front. Floor was sticky, chairs were dirty. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress to never come back, ask for our drink order or anything. Red Robin was a much better choice, had drinks and an appetizer almost immediately, clean table, no sticky floor. This location should be replaced with Waffle House, at least their mediocrity is expected.

At first, as we were about to enter IHOP, we were pushed aside as a group of college age folks appeared to be leaving, very loud and disrespectful of anyone in their way.. Got up to seating station,only to hear an associate apologizing for the wait time for service, IHOP was short of help to day. Ok,we can wait for a few minutes. Bout 10 minutes later we were seated, bout 3 minutes more an associate came with water, utensils, menu, small talk, coffee arrived quickly, bout a few minutes later orders taken,10 min food arrived, All in all,worth the wait, staff knowledgeable, area was clean, folks were respectful, food was good. Price point, not so much. However we would eat their again...

The food is standard IHOP, but today s service was outstanding. Chris was friendly, welcoming, and careful about keeping my Diet Pepsi refilled. When a nearby table fell over with a crash, several crew members came running, and they all did the same thing: check to see that the child involved was ok, and assured the family that the mess could be cleaned up. Bravo!

just visited with my friend and we had a great time! i ve been to a few locations before outside of abilene, and i never had many good experiences. however, we decided to give it a try together! our server byron was so sweet! he took care of us very well, and also seemed really busy! i know it takes a lot to be a server but he was doing 10/10 :) he wasn t even using a notepad to take our orders but he remembered everything perfectly and we were able to enjoy our food! he was so sweet, will definitely be back and hopefully see him again! :)

Took over 30 minutes to receive food after order was placed. Only 2 servers on the floor on a Sat night. I didnt see a manager. The food eaten there was tasty. Ordered a Chx sandwich to go & it was made incorrectly. Took a long time to receive check & pay out. Not from the area so it could be a one off, but I would try a different location before this one again.

2 waitresses were amazing. They were kind and friendly. Tracy, Roshanna, and Chris were amazing and continually apologized for how rude everyone else was. Roshanna worked her tail off and waited on tables that were not hers since the other waitress only came by once. The remainder if the staff was rude and disrespectful. They skipped our group for over an hour. We had a group of 23. We said we could be broken up around the restaurant and we were told to get out of the way and we are too busy for you .

Traveling from Arkansas and stopped in at this IHOP for coffee and a rest. I have lots of food allergies, so eating out is not something I do often. The wait staff and kitchen staff were awesome and helped me find a dish that I could eat safely. I got to eat a delightful breakfast! Big shout out to Tracy and Gary for outstanding service! We sat down got drinks, then ordered food in the first 10 -15 mins then a table of 6 (we were a 3 top) sat behind us. They got drinks then ordered 10 to 15 mins after we had already ordered. They got their food and finished before we even got our food. Then we had order the cinnamon dippers as a app as our daughter was hungry and we wanted something to hold her over... they were out of the cinnamon sugar that they are tossed in... and the dipping sauce that comes with them on the side. They didnt come tell us to ask if we still wanted them.. they just put powdered sugar on them and a Cinnabon sauce over the top.. it was fine but I just wish they would have asked first cause I would have put it on the side. They were out of alot.. chocolate milk, Dr. Pepper on top of the other stuff I already mentioned. The server was nice but when my husband asked about our food I felt like she was very dismissive about oh it will be right out we are very busy.. there was only 5 to 7 tables in the whole restaurant. So we asked for a manager which we used to work in food service I get it. But it wasnt crazy busy. The manager came right out even tho she was the one cooking.. the cook had called out which I get happens alot Im sure. Why would you have only 1 cook for a Sunday afternoon is my question. Without really saying anything but hey we have been here for over 90 mins and that table got here after and they are leaving now. She said give her 4 mins and she would take care of the bill, so we stay then food was okay. And the server did what she could after that and was very sweet to our daughter who just wanted waffles for her birthday. We will probably go back but not anytime soon... and not on a Sunday but it was like 3pm when we came in. We didnt leave til after 5pm. I will agree with the server that they are letting the morning crew leave too soon after the next shift gets there. They need to keep a few on or add in some mid shifts to help with the switching of shifts.

I was craving breakfast, so we dropped into the iHOP. I had the build your own omelet that comes with 3 pancakes. My husband ate the pancakes, and I had the omelet. Everything was delicious and our waitress was very nice.

Ordered online for pick up. Was supposed to be ready at 11:20. I showed up at 11:30. Went inside and told them I was there for my ordered. The hostess came back and said it s not ready. I said can you give me a little bit of a time estimate because it s already 10 mins past pick up time. She was like no I don t know. She was going to dismiss me and I said is it even in the works. She said no. Ummmm,,, that s something that should be updated to the customer especially since it s already 10 mins past the time of pick up. So sitting out in the car and have to wait an additional 20 minutes. Pretty irritated. Not to mention I am sitting here watching cooks and waitresses outside smoking. The place is packed and online orders are clearly backed up, shouldn t be smoke break time. Edit so waited for 40 mins out in my car went back in still not ready. The hostess came back and told me that they called to tell me that their waffle machine was down. I pulled out my phone and showed her, nope no call at all. She said she could replace the waffles with pancakes. I said no I would just like a refund because that was the whole reason we even attempted to eat there was for the waffles, rudely she said fine. She went to get manager, who didn t even have the decency to come out and address the issue themselves, who told her he would set set refund. So I will have to wait 7 days for a refund on my money. Told her I would like something in writing saying the refund would be started. Because I have been down this road with this company in the past where they completely forgot to start the refund. She said she couldn t give anything but to write my name and number down. Her attitude was terrible. I want someone to reach out to me in regards to this. I am out $45 for 7 days. And lost about an hr of my time today. Dealt with extreme unprofessionalism. Just wow! That is the sealed deal of our family never returning to this business.

Don t order using curbside service after dark, they ignore you and once you go in to get your food sitting lonely on the counter with no one to give you your order you get angry and take it yourself. Then you get to your car and realize they gave you the wrong salad dressing. I walked back in to see the waitresses all huddled together in the kitchen entrance talking ( you know, they re so busy with the one table they had. Although I believe 2 walked out a few minutes before that) and I told them I waited for 10 minutes in my car and my food sat on the counter. They then told me they don t walk the food out after dark. I told them well . Your website doesn t say that! . Then the girl says yeah we get a lot of complaints about that . I then told them that I ordered balsamic dressing and there was honey mustard and ranch in the bag. Then one of them snippy like says well we don t have any . I told them that will be the last time. Horrible, horrible service!!!

My friends and I had an great time last night. Went in late at night and the server was Lia. She was quick to greet us and get us drinks. Our food was hot and fresh too. The french toast is new and really good! The restrooms were clean and it was chill.

We ate here a year ago and the service and food were both horrible! We decided since we were in town, we would give them a second chance. I m so glad we did. From the hostess, Jen to the waitress, to the bus boy, James and Stephanie - they were fantastic! I can t wait to come back to ihop in Abilene.
