We came out for Chris Knight and had a great time! The place was packed, and our server still never let our drinks go empty. Attentive staff and a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

Went to the Ice House. Spent at least two hours window shopping at the goods store. (OMG!) Sat at the actual bar; he had his spirited beverage; I my non-spirited beverage. Assessed the dynamic achitectural choices made to design the space. Feng Shui - a little off - a little sterile BUT it has the character that an old warehouse district provides, professionalism, and definitely a distinctly different, in an urban way, atmosphere. Its got to be fun when the house is full.

Excellent spot downtown for a cold drink and food. The hog wings might be one of the greatest creations on the planet. Live music almost every night too. This place is awesome

This place has a nice urban chic atmosphere and the food is very good. If you like wings, this is truly a place to eat! I prefer the southwest egg rolls or Philly cheesecake sandwich. Drinks are very good and love the live music!

Harrison helped me with my drinks at the bar. Super friendly and very respectful. Took his hat off when we shook hands. I love Texas manners! Definitely a place I will be back to when I m visiting family again. Thank you for the great service, the cool cap, and the service.

Great place! Positive atmosphere and the staff/bartenders are great. Shiner is cold and the musicians are great when they come. Only complaint I have is that the seating needs improvement. The chairs they have aren t meant to be sat in for a long time and you find yourself slipping on the tall metal chairs they have.

Just dont order the the Bloody Mary like drink...way tooo salty....couldnt drink it even after the ice melted. Pleasurable place; very open venue yet totally covered environment. Double Shot band was playing the evening I attended and was really good entertainment.

This is a cool little spot on the southeast corner of Walnut and 2nd. The place was classy and clean. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Live music provided by Colton Fox was as good as it gets. Will definitely be returning.

Ive only been here once. I had the Yuengling Lager, which just made its way into the Lone Star State. The staff was solid and the beer was excellent. I will definitely go back again! In short, if you are looking for a fun weekend spot in downtown Abilene, give this one a chance. The atmosphere is fun and the drinks are great!

I m getting more and more impressed with Abilene s downtown scene. Ice House, located next to my favorite barber shop in town definitely elevates the ABI scene. If you re looking for a great time and good strong drinks, Ice House has you covered. Great beer, mixed cocktails, and friendly staff.
