My neice got married there this past weekend. The Homestead is in the country so theres amazing views from inside looking out. The Staff are friendly, helpful and work till the last minute to assure that any wedding is perfect from the Bars, to the severs and the ushers. The furnishing are Amazing!

As a photographer who works at venues all over Texas The homestead easily is one of my favorites. Alexis is so sweet and down to earth (which i know we all appreciate in the wedding world). The Bride and groom suits are epic!!!! Well decorated, lots of light, and well thought out. (Easily some of my favorite spaces here.) I have had the pleasure of photographing here numerous times and every time I am inspired in so many ways, from the decor, to the light, to the outdoor options. Seriously incredible go check them out! YOU MUST TOUR THIS VENUE!

I appreciated our conversations and the warm atmosphere he helped create at the bar. Taylors professionalism and charm certainly enhanced my overall experience. I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible efforts of Alexis, the owner of The Homestead. Her dedication and hard work were truly remarkable, especially in light of the challenges we faced when our hired wedding planner fell short. Alexis stepped in and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our daughters wedding was flawless. Just met my couple for a tasting here. Oh my goodness yall it is gorgeous! I am ashamed for not taking photos! I m going back to do so as soon as I can to update this review. If you re getting married in this area. Just know it s beautiful and the views are between country land and modern motif! Unlike most venues that just host country chic in the area. Loved this venue.

The Homestead is the most beautiful and well-thought out venue I have ever been to. I cried when we toured it because I could see my now husband and I getting married there. Alexis, the owner, understands the best flow and structure and has executed so well. The venue is fun and eclectic with plenty of beautiful large spaces, indoor and outdoor, for guests to hang out. The grooms suite and bridal suite are stunning and have everything you need. I am so happy we got married at The Homestead and would recommend it to anyone. We had the best day and Alexis and her team kept everything flowing perfectly. Our guests loved the place, too!

The Homestead was a dream location. We wanted something unique, modern, elevated and customizable. This venue was all of those things and more. A year after our wedding, and our guests still talk about the food, the bar, the service, and the design of our wedding and venue. Alexis and her team are top notch. If I could give a zero I would but I cant so Ill leave 1. My daughters worked a gala event that we attended and stayed afterward to wait on them as one of the owners Lauretta was extremely rude. She was aggressive to the staff and extremely rude and unprofessional to myself. Beautiful venue but such a shame the owner is so foul and mean-spirited. DO NOT BOOK since youll have to deal with these people. Unprofessional, unkind, and unhappy people. Update- I have never been a employee of My Event Angels and we there as a guest. LAURETTA, who is the mother of the co-owner, stated herself that she was the owner the venue. Please correct your employees and take corrective action as needed. Please dont attempt to belittle the situation bc it is the truth.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at The Homestead. Our day was magical and every aspect of the venue and catering was perfect. Alexis and her team went above and beyond to make our big day special. The catering from The Posh Affair was phenomenal. Our guests still talk about it to this day as the best wedding food they have ever had. The bar staff were incredible and the bride and groom suites were a magical place to get ready in. We had a large bridal party and there was plenty of room for all of us. Our hair and makeup team loved the natural light in the bridal suite and our photographers enjoyed photographing all of the styles areas within the venue. This place is truly one of a kind. It s everything I could have asked for and more. Don t miss the opportunity to have your big day here. You won t regret it.

Updated-***I was an out of state bride in 2023 who got married here in April. The venue is beautiful, it s well equipped for serving your guests, my guests thought it was beautiful and it is a really lovely aesthetic. I cannot remember her name but the blonde lady who assisted the entire day is a peach, incredibly sweet lady who was incredibly helpful. Loved her!! It was the vision and I will cherish my pictures and memories with my husband. I want to be transparent for brides and honest in my thoughts in working with the venue for ease of planning as a bride. Alexis is if I m remembering correctly is a long time wedding industry professional and it shows in the venue, she s put incredible detail into what you can do there on your wedding day. Her recommendations for vendors were wonderful, and we found ultimately most or all on lists when provided and that did simplify the process a bit for my planner once she took over (partial planning) as all vendors were booked by the time we hired one. I think for most brides, planners are a must in some capacity as there were things that I felt I was equipped to handle, but resulted in day of marginal errors at no fault to the venue. Closing thoughts/key take away: The bar (booked through venue) our drinks were delicious and everyone loved our bar. Open bar Entirely worth it in my opinion. Posh Affair catering was delicious, we did waiter served apps and they were an hit. Dinner service was a little chaotic from my guests feedback, but also so delicious. The Mac and cheese was amazing, we still talk about it. **my review originally reflected concern about cost transparency, the owner reached out directly to talk more about my feedback and was receptive to my concern and talked about solutions that may help future couples!

This place is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! If you are looking for the PERFECT Texas wedding venue, look no further. No, really, this place is it! The property is beautiful with expansive views. Seems like they spent a million dollars on interior design... from the moment you enter through the gigantic sliding glass doors you feel like youve walked into someplace truly magical. The bridesmaids suite is simply beyond amazing and the groomsmen man cave sports a poker table and table tennis... I could spend all day in there! Everything is over the top charming and so tastefully done. And, probably best of all... the family who own and operate it have true servants hearts. They have whats known a the gift of hospitality. All I can say is, just make sure you tour this place before making a decision. Youll be blessed you did.

I love how this venue is so different from other venues in the Houston area. The lobby has a mid-century modern California vibe, which is refreshing. The details in the bridal and groom suite are so intentional. And there is ample space for guests in the reception and flex space. I love capturing weddings at this venue!

This location was phenomenal for a wedding. The staff was helpful with answering all questions and worked hard to ensure all members of the wedding had what they needed to make what could be stressful day easy and smooth. Great location. The groomsmen room is unbelievable and even has code access to make sure belongings are kept secure.
