Main Event in Webster, Texas, is a great spot for weekend fun, especially when they stay open until 2 AM. Whether you re there for bowling, arcade games, or laser tag, the lively atmosphere makes it a perfect place for a night out with friends or family. The wide range of activities means there s always something exciting to do, and the late hours are a huge plus for those looking for some late-night entertainment. However, one area that could use improvement is the bowling shoes. The shoes have grips on the soles that prevent you from sliding smoothly, which can throw off your game and even cause you to trip. For avid bowlers, this can be frustrating and detract from the overall experience. If Main Event upgraded their bowling shoes, it would make the bowling experience much more enjoyable and comfortable for guests. Despite this issue, Main Event is still a fun spot for an active night out, and the variety of entertainment options makes it a popular weekend destination.

Id give -4 stars if I could because whew! Let me first say that the singular saving grace of this situation is Grace, who booked our party initially. Otherwise, Ive never experienced worse customer service in my life. We booked a birthday party for our sons 6th birthday in early August for September 21st. When we booked, we were guaranteed a specific party room, which was stated in our contract. When I called to confirm the final guest count, we also confirmed the party room. The day of the party, they tried to put us in another room. I explain to the attendant were supposed to be in another room. They get a manager who proceeds to tell me party rooms are first come first serve. I try to explain we were guaranteed this room and the manager says theres no way. Like there couldnt have been a mistake... Im heated because the room is set up for a banquet with cloth linens and all, not a childs party. After getting the contract and showing them, they finally agree to flip the room. I was told it would take 5 minutes, it took 30. So party starts 30min late. The layout, tables, everything is wrong. They kept trying to bring out food but there were no tables set up yet and no place to eat. I dont even have time to decorate like I want. Its a cluster. Then they try to push us out of the room 30min later, saying theres another event. Like we didnt just have a delay, that was their fault, knock the whole party back. I had to advocate for my son again and ask if there can be a compromise and we do a planned activity, return to the room and eat cake before vacating the space. Attendants agreed to this. We do the activity, return to the room, sing happy birthday, and they tell me were not allowed to cut or serve the cake because were out of time, and wed already been given 10 extra minutes for the delay. Again, saying theres another event in the room. Girl what?! First of all, youre not honoring the agreement we just made like 15 minutes ago. Also what the entire h#@$?! Were late (almost 40 min) because yall put us in the wrong room! At that point my husband had to again advocate for my son to management because you want us to pack the whole party up??? They finally obliged but at this point I was seeing red. To top it off, there was confusion about the game cards so didnt get those for a while too. I had to sit down with a manager at the end and go through the grievances one by one, also explaining that no one ever apologized for the inconvenience, the errors, nothing. Im not even putting everything that went wrong here but you can get the gist. The planner Grace came towards the end and explained shed allowed extra amounts on the kids game cards and apologized for the entire day and the terrible experience. She was the first and only person to offer us if we needed anything extra or help to the car with our things, which again wed done ourselves. Ive never experienced such horrendous service anywhere. Thankfully the kids didnt know the difference and had fun but the cluster of a day was truly, truly incredible. They couldnt have effd up more if they tried. All to say, never again. Id also like to note that as I sit here, 2 hrs after we vacated the room there has not been another party there. So they lied about needing the space vacated for another party. I just...

Joelle and Savannah were AMAZING! I was so relaxed at my 5 year olds party, I couldn t recommend these girls more they are sooo good at what they do! I had a great time, my kids and the other kids + their parents did too. In fact, many said they would have their kids parties at main event because of the wonderful experience I had and they witnessed. They deserve a raise! And Yesenia the manager, she checked on us and made sure we had a great experience. Very sweet and comforting and I could tell how important my experience was to her. I will recommend main event to everyone and will have another one of my kids parties here! :)

We bought summer premium passes $127.71 for two. We are two adults, who intended to use them for some date nights, spoiler alert, not a good idea! I should have read the Facebook review score which is realistic, and the telling one star reviews here ... The last day to use the summer passes was Labor day. Why set the final day of a pass on a holiday? We attended previously, on a weekday (not Thurs/Fri) for mini golf and a parent had their child stuck on a hole, continuously trying to get the ball in. Normally parents have the courtesy to let people play through, not in this case. We let staff know and went round them, nothing was done. The catering for vegan people at this location is non-existent. They have a ridiculous website booking system that will not permit online pass usage. Living 15 minutes away, we drove there, got our wristbands, and put ourselves on the bowling wait-list, then we drove 15 min home, 1 hour later they text us. We arrived 20 minutes later (it takes 5 minutes to get out of the house & parking) for our slot. Brionna, rudely tells us we have taken you off the wait-list, as if we were knew there was a 20 min hold window. We were not told that, at any point, or that subsequently they delete your held position. That detail is not on any of the texts, and there is no way to respond that you are on the way. So having now been told this, we get our back on the wait-list, at the end of the queue again. 1 hour later we are sent an SMS. We go back, the same thing has happened even though we were sent the SMS at 13:04 and arrived at 13:18 (because we were already ready & parked the car directly outside). At this juncture we ask to speak to a manager. Stephanie the manager, arrives, and is utterly unhelpful, though not rude like Brionna. She does not apologize for having had us travel back and forth 3 times, wasting over 1.5 hours on our day off or for keeping us in limbo all day. Stephanie seems to think that explaining that most people are usually onsite doing other things in their wait period, and that is why it is only a 15 min hold for bowling slots, is a reasonable approach. Firstly, we were told it is 20 min by Brionna, then 15 min by the manager Stephanie. To say the staff are inconsistent would be an understatement. I explained, that system is impractical. Why would you delete someone from a wait-list? Why not move them down one slot in the list and give the next people their slot, in that way, if people are not onsite, (or busy mid some other game) when they arrive the next slot will be theirs; if they never attend then at the end of the day slots would be cleared. It is simple, logical and fair. If you get in a phone queue (another example of somewhere you might be on the wait-list but not in person), if you miss your call back, they try you again after the next customer, it is standard practice and good customer service. All members of staff at the Main Event were unapologetic and self-righteous, no empathy or compassion was exhibited, it was pretty abysmal customer service. To add insult to injury, no remedy was offered, we were not told they would give us the next slot, we were told we could be put back on the wait-list (which was another 1.5 hrs)! Bearing in mind the misinformation, we unsurprisingly left, and we will not be back, to here or any other main event, establishment. For an adult date night, this venue is entirely unsuitable. Additionally, $127.71 could have been a dinner out instead, in my view the summer premium passes were poor value for money and sadly a very unpleasant experience. I found it interesting that the adversarial position was taken by the staff, as if we were fighting for who was right. We were their customers, they were supposed to be trying to provide the service we paid for, in a spirit that would warrant our return. I have always been of the school of thought, that when faced with doing what is right, or what is kind, you should choose what is kind. I hope this helps some people not waste their time or money. Dietary restrictions: Not vegan friendly Parking: Front parking spaces taken by staff, other people parking in order to go elsewhere often use this lot as well, consequently it is often full with only a few spaces.

So my daughter booked a birthday party yesterday at Main Event Webster and it was extremely chaotic. When you book attractions are timed, you get an hour for bowling and food and 30 min for the rest. Our rotation was bowling, pizza and cake, laser tag, mini golf, then free play (games). During bowing the lanes kept having issues so we would have to stop and try and find our host to fix it, then didn t even get to bowl a full game because the time slot ended. We would have been done with the last person bowling in about 5 min, but the host wouldn t allow it. Sit down time for pizza and cake is an hour, which is way too long for small children so they were restless waiting to do the next activity but our host kept leaving and we were waiting on her to provide to-go boxes and show us too the next activity, which was laser tag. By the time we got there it took awhile to get situated and they only got about 15 min to play out of the 30 min they were supposed to get and were kicked out. They would have rather played laser tag, than sat at a table for over an hour. Mini golf went fine, because they just let us go thru the course without kicking us out at a specific time, mainly because our host disappeared and we didn t see her the rest of the night. When you pay over $500 for a party, I would expect it to be better organized so you are not rushed. It takes the fun out of the party when they are rushing you around. I won t ever book there again. It would be better to go and just enjoy the activities in your own time, so you get the full amount of time at each attraction. Also, our host seemed to have a disability and I m a very understanding person and believe in equal opportunity but do not believe that she is suited for being a host. She wasn t able to communicate times, or wrap ups, if it takes 15 to prepare for laser tag, then they should have you there 15 min early, so you can enjoy the full time.

Danny, the manager went above and beyond for me and my friends. It was my going away for work and my boss had given me a gift card that was nowhere to be found. He went out of his way to find it for me after I told him how much it meant to me and my boss. A++++ for this service because I m a manager as well and I understand the things you have to do. Thank you for everything Danny, you were amazing!! Will def be back again just because of his service!

Maybe watching the bowling area a bit to enforce a smidgen of bowling etiquette. I was bowling with my grandkids when a large group got the lane next to me. They had 5-6 people in the lane at a time. An employee was there most of the time because I guess is was a party. Maybe he could have told them not to congregate on the lane next to them where they were actually sitting and standing in our lane. I literally had to tell them a couple times to please at least scoot over a bit so my grandkids could throw the ball

Came to a party and the party hostess savanna was great did a great job and not to mention the supervisor Yesenia was just amazing she was very sweet and attentive to what we needed, always looking to see if we needed anything. Although the party was over she was still helping and giving us suggestions on the menu. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family members .

Love bringing my nephews here for an afternoon. Great place for gaming, bowling, laser tag, billiards, etc. My only complaint is that the price to play (more than a few games) in the arcade was a bit steep. However, Main Event has great package deals for the summer.

I feel like my family and I were being discriminated and we spent over a hundred dollars in that place. So we took our kids to main event in Webster. While the adults were at the bar the bartender comes to take our drink orders she asked for I.D my husband left his in the car but I showed mine. So then I asked if I can show her a picture of the I.D and she said she needed the physical I.D so my husband was like dont worry about it because he didnt want to go back to the car. So another customer that was Hispanic walks up ask for beer the same server never asked them for I.D so I didnt say anything then a Caucasian Lady walks up and the server takes her order and the lady asked for a beer for her husband who I might add was parking the car she never asked her for I.D either so then I asked the server why were we the only ones being carded and she said because Im busy but I can go back and ask for her I.D I said it wouldnt even matter now u gave her the alcohol let me speak to your manager and the manager comes and I tell him whats going on and all he says is thats a conversation that I have to have with her because she is not doing her job but yet he walked away and she is still employed there. Then she never wanted to come back by us so my cousin called her over because at this point she was avoiding us and we didnt even want to eat or drink there anymore so my cousin asked for her to close her tab but she still never once came back so I could pay for my drink so my cousin called her back over where we were and asked her to bring me my ticket and she says no her drink is free. I WILL NEVER SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY AT MAIN EVENT EVER AGAIN. The audacity of this establishment to discriminate against my family and I after we spent our money there like we rushed our kids to finish whatever credits they had on their cards so we could leave they ruined our family outing.
