This is the most expensive restaurant Ive ever been to. The atmosphere was excellent! Fantastic live singer doing Sinatra era tunes. Strange that he had a hat for tips in such a classy place. Id have thought hed be well paid. Service was exceptional. Very attentive without being bothersome. The food was very good. For the prices though, it should have been off the charts. My medium rare steak was a little too charred on the edges, too well done on the ends, but perfect in the center. Grilled sourdough bread and brussel sprouts were also a little too charred. Seasonings and flavors were all wonderful though.

Always a wonderful experience! The wedge salad was great, the pork chop was so tender and the Brussel sprouts were amazing! Chef/Manager Salih came to meet us and Trinity took such good care of us. It was one of my best Birthday meals ever!! Oh, and the three-layered chocolate cake with Happy Birthday topped off a great night! Definitely our go to place for excellent food and service.

Went here for dinner on Saturday on our way back from Dallas. I loved the ambience. It feels like you re in a 1930s Bank when you enter music was perfect. We sat upstairs. I noticed they had a neat area to sit facing the open kitchen design. I read up on the building a little bit and the history super interesting. I got grilled chicken and a side of the truffle, mac & cheese, and the green beans, and my husband got the burger. We started with calamari and the grilled bread and a bottle of wine service was fantastic and super friendly. Our server was Trevor and we had several other people come to the table to refill drinks and check on us all very nice. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend and would return if we re back in town.

My husband made reservations for dinner here for our anniversary and was told we would be seated upstairs by a window & she was very kind (i think her name was Haley). Then when we showed up there was a different hostess, Amaya (i think with real winged eyeliner) , seated us near the restroom, there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant at the time. My husband then asked about the table he had reserved and this new hostess acted very put out by it and was talking crap about the other hostess that had offered us a nicer table for our anniversary saying she was going to tell the manager on her for allowing us to reserve that table and that we shouldn t be allowed up there on weekdays meanwhile another couple was also seated upstairs. She then complained about the hostess that originally made our reservation the entire way to the table. Then when we got to the table, a waitress came and said she wasn t sure if she is allowed to serve us up there yet she was serving another table up there. Finally a guy came back and served us and was very kind. The hostess and first girl that came to our table set a rude tone for the nice night we were trying to have to celebrate our anniversary. I feel like the divorce lawyers next door would have had better customer service than this winged eyeliner hostess. Probably wouldn t go back because of how rude she was. I also hope the original friendly girl that made our reservation does not get in trouble for trying to make a nice night for us.

I have a family living in Italy married to an Italian. So when it comes to Italian/European cuisine, I can be quite picky with high standards. This steakhouse, however, pleasantly surprised my tastebuds with every dish we had ordered. It was obvious they used the top grade fresh ingredients as everything had perfect flavor and texture. My family had Shrimp & Grits, Avocado toast with smoked salmon, Burrata salad and Pork chop. Unless you re vegetarian, halal, or kosher, you all should try their pork chop at least once in your life. It is truly out of this world kind of crunchy and juicy piece of meat you ll enjoy. I m so glad I found this gem and my family cannot wait to go back for more delicacy.

During my recent visit to Prime 115 in Waxahachie, TX, I had an exceptional dining experience that perfectly combined outstanding cuisine, excellent service, and a nostalgic ambiance. I dined on the second floor, which offered a cozy and comfortable setting with plush chairs, making it ideal for a relaxed family meal or an intimate gathering. The setup allowed for a fun and peaceful dining experience, away from the hustle and bustle. The meal itself was fantastic. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked Ribeye, rich seafood pasta, succulent shrimp, and a standout hot chicken karaage, each dish enhanced by unique and flavorful sauces. The desserts were equally delightful, with both the lemon cake and chocolate cake being just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the natural flavors to really shine. The decor of Prime 115 is truly special, transporting you back to the 1940s with its elegant crystal chandeliers, mahogany paneling, and vintage Hollywood photographs. The warm lighting throughout the restaurant adds a cozy and intimate feel, making it an especially great choice for couples looking for a romantic evening. The first floor features a bar, offering a sophisticated atmosphere perfect for enjoying a drink with a loved one. The restaurant is also located in a safe and relaxing area, great for a leisurely walk before or after your meal. Plus, there are plenty of free parking spots around the restaurant, adding to the convenience. With its delicious food, warm ambiance, and excellent service, Ill definitely be returning to Prime 115 from time to time. Whether youre there for a family dinner upstairs or a romantic night out at the bar downstairs, this restaurant is a must-visit. Parking: In front of the restaurant

I tried to love this place but was totally underwhelmed. There was no finesse to anything. Chicken Karaage was just a crunchy mess. I was starving so I ate it. Pork Chop had a weird maple glaze that didnt work at all. Au Gratin had WAY too much cheese. Sauteed mushrooms were cold and all the wine had not been cooked off (maybe), something was off. Servers and bartenders were awesome. Manager was friendly. I will give it another whirl but have lowered my expectations.

The food and service was absolutely amazing we were seated upstairs but the only thing that was a little uncomfortable were the bar flies. It started with just one but the longer we were there and when our food was served we were fighting off maybe 5-6 at a time. We will definitely be back and it was an amazing night for the both of us we were so full by the end of it. We started with the cheese assortment all arranged with companions that complimented each flavor palette of cheese. He had the ny strip which was cooked perfectly, I had the chiopini and we shared some grilled bread with truffle Mac. We ended our meal with cheese cake that just melts in your mouth. Everything was to die for.

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, my ribeye was so tough I could barely cut it and struggled even more to chew it. I ordered it medium rare and it did have a red center, but tasted like a BAD roast. My daughter notified the server and the cook, I presume, came out. He said maybe it was the cut of meat and offered to make another one or offered the filet as theyre known to melt in your mouth. The filet came also medium rare, but tasted like a TV dinner steak. It also tasted like a bad roast but it was thinner so I was able to cut and eat it. I hate wasting and dont like to complain or send food back but these were the worst steaks I ever had. I cant even imagine where they came from or what they had been through between the cow and my plate. I dont like to call out the restaurant but would never get a steak here again. Was just passing through the town and it seemed like a nice steak house.

I met the general manager at another restaurant. I witnessed him and his family address staff members with kindness and respect despite several failed attempts to deliver them the correct order. After a brief conversation with his family, Dennis advised he was a manager at Prime 115. Well yesterday I visited with my daughter. Great atmosphere and customer service begins the moment you walk into the restaurant. The staff were very attentive. The wedge salad was fresh and very tasty. We ordered the grilled bread and it actually had grill marks. The ribeye was delicious and slightly charged. So delicious that no steak sauce was needed. The chicken Alfredo was beautifully prepared. The cheesecake was light and fluffy. Dennis made my daughter a delicious mocktail. Just an all around great dining experience. Definitely recommend.

For Locals that dont know, this restaurant has had a new owner over the past 3-6 months and for lack of a better term, it was pretty underwhelming. As a disclaimer, we were a party of 6 and for any restaurant, serving large parties is difficult. There were just some things I know they couldve done better. I would give the food a 6/10. And Im comparing it to the several steakhouses Ive had in the DFW area with pretty impressive chefs and menus, some known worldwide. I had the Filet Mignon Medium-rare and I was initially thrown off because they served me one that was medium-well that another guest at the table had ordered by mistake. My actual steak had the correct texture but it wasnt exactly teeming with flavor or anything to write home about. Ive had the ribeye as well and Id say the same thing. Again this is a comparison to well established steakhouses in the DFW area; I wouldnt say it was bad steak just doesnt rank very high in my book. The sides were alright, Mac & Cheese, brussel sprouts, and calamari were all decent. My Wedge Salad was tasty, but wasnt served with a lot of dressing so I didnt finish it. Service Our server Hope was very nice. Weve had Monica on occasions as well and we always ask for her when shes available. Our food did take a long time to be prepared w/ the few guests that were dining at the same time as once. We waited close to an hour and 20 minutes. Again we were a party of 6 but it still seemed to take a while. We had a glass break near our table and several pieces were still lying around under the table when we left. Great Atmosphere with live music. If I were to give a message to management, it would be to strive for perfection and make sure the quality of the food matches the price. Im so thankful to have a steakhouse restaurant serving our community, but EVERY detail counts especially knowing in the next 1-5 years you likely will have several other competitors in the area. There will definitely be a day I give Prime 115 another chance and I will certainly update my review if I notice improvements.

I have been here several times. Everything I have eaten here has been about the best or the best I have had. Even the sauces for their cheesecake that they bring in from New Jersey are hand made by the chef. They also have great and fun cocktails. Atmosphere is old time black and white like a Chicago or New York, which is fitting for a former bank in an old town. Only downside is sometimes you can be there a couple hours if it is busy and you have a large party.

We decided to try dessert cocktails and ordered the Pretty Boy Floyd and Dad s Brandy Ice. As we enjoyed the drinks at the end of our decadent meal, the owner asked us to move to the bar seating to accommodate a large party. Oh and they do sushi too? At a supposedly upscale steakhouse, really? Server had to call manager to make changes though I suspect it is policy. Manager if that is what he was needs to reasses his career as he was rude and unapologetic about the restaurants lack of edible food. Add to all that a touch of racism as my wife is Asian, Waxahachie is better than that though management doesn t seem to be. Save your money and go to a real steakhouse. We will never go back.

Pathetic. I would put 0 stars if I could. Gave this place 2 chances after hearing not great things. It is Dallas steakhouse price for extremely sub par service and food. Family of 6 was 400+$ and wouldve ate better at braums. Service is laughable, management is poor, and the building may have a cool vibe, but not for a restaurant, and not for 60+$ a person.

Ambiance and service were good. My wife and I had been there before and enjoyed a nice steak and she had a chicken plate that is no longer on the menu. Since her elderly parents were visiting for Thanksgiving, we wanted to treat them a nice restaurant/dinner. Unfortunately, the food was adequate at best. We had 3 dishes with chicken and pasta in them. All 3 had dry and tough chicken. One pasta was under cooked and had clumps. One dish had shrimp that had no flavor and was tough. The sea bass was a very good dish and flavorful.

My husband and I went to Prime 115 to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we walked into the building, we knew this place wasnt going to disappoint. The music playing in the background was a selection inspired by Sinatra and perfectly paired with the ambiance. We had a reservation at 7:15 but arrived at 6:30 and decided to see if a table was available sooner. The hostess was able to switch tables and get us seated right away. As we walked through the first floor dining area, we were surprised to see that what we thought was a DJ or radio playing the music was actually a live singer. We were seated at our table, and our server greeted us immediately. The wine selection was impressive. Since I knew I wanted steak, I opted for a Malbec, and my husband went with the Osborne cocktail. The server returned to inform me that they were out of the Malbec but had a Cabernet that was similar in profile that would pair nicely with any steak option. I took her recommendation and was very happy with the Cabernet. To start, we ordered the brushetta and crab cakes. The crab cakes were so delicious, and the crab was perfectly seasoned. Brushetta has always been a favorite of mine and also did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Domonico Steak (20 oz.), and I ordered the Filet Mignon. We also ordered the shrimp risotto, truffle Mac and cheese, jumbo asparagus, and button mushrooms as sides since we didnt know the sides came family style. Im happy we ordered what we did because we got to try so many of their offerings. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and so tender they cut like butter. The risotto was also cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Even the vegetable options were fantastically flavored and well cooked. We ended the night with their NY cheesecake. Our server informed us that they order this cheesecake from NY. It was so flavorful and somehow both dense and light at the same time (youll have to try it to know what Im talking about). Overall, there wasnt anything we didnt like about this place. It definitely is a place we will celebrate at again next year. I also look forward to bringing my friends and family here in the future!

We booked a reservation for our 15th anniversary. It took 10 minutes before our waiter greeted us. He took our cocktail order and returned with drinks 15 min later. At the time we were to order, our waiter informed us there were no filets. We specifically decided to come for steaks since this is a STEAK restaurant. We decided to get our check and go to Bob s. Never did a manager come and apologize or comp our drinks to make it right. It was a terrible experience and we will never be back. Disappointing!!

This is the nicest high end restaurant in Waxahachie. The atmosphere, setting, and ambiance in the historic Citizens Bank building from the early 1900s is upscale and elegant. There was a man singing classic songs from the era of Frank Sinatra. He was so good we thought it was a recording. We asked and he sings there every Friday night. The food was outstanding. We had the Delmonico Ribeye and the Chicken Picatta. Oh, and you have to get the triple layer Ganache chocolate cake with amaretto cherries. Our server was excellent and the owner Dennis, checked in to welcome us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Overall great experience and highly recommended.

Stood there for at least 10 minutes - almost about to leave when a waiter finally spoke to us and seated us. He was great! Unfortunately, certain items were sold out so the menu was kind of limited (that sucks). The beef stroganoff was delicious The crab cakes were good! VERY EXPENSIVE. We both had ribeye steak & it was awesome. Big enough to split & also to have take away. I was surprised that when ordering a $60 / $80 steak, nothing comes with it. You must order & pay for any sides separately. We ordered some type of potatoes cut in squares & baked topped with cheese / chives. We were there Sunday 1:30 & they called that Brunch & had a separate menu. Maybe its different another time or day? Im just not sure. It seemed like a good place to be served alcoholic drinks $$ but this was by observing others, I didnt partake. I did have $6 tiny expresso...

Weve been here many times and this time was VERY disappointing. Its obvious there has been a change in the kitchen. Crab cakes were very underwhelmin (and kept picking pieces of crabshell out of our mouths), crab risotto very bland, and our steak was very overcooked and pretty much tasteless. To top it off the womens room had no toliet paper and mens room had no paper towels! I expect WAY more when I pay $400 for a meal for two. Very sad and disappointed. Im a chef myself, so maybe Im a little more critical, but come on....someone needs to check the TP in the bathrooms on a Friday night. And dont cook my steak medium well when I order med rare.

We took my mom here for mothers day. The wine we ordered was out of stock. The steaks we attempted to order (strips) were out of stock. The salmon ordered medium was cooked well done. The filet ordered medium was rare and instead of firing a new steak they took it off the plate and cooked it to well done. Honestly the only thing worth it was the Brussel sprouts and the kids grilled cheese. If you look at the prices on this menu vs a Nick and Sams or Bobs, Perrys etc. The prices are similar but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I would just drive the 35 minutes to a much higher quality restaurant. My last beef with this place is the name...Prime 115 serving CHOICE steak...not worth the money.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The first visit, service was slow and the food was ok, but the charm of being in a historic location gave the restaurant a destination restaurant attraction. The second visit was horrible. We made a reservation for five, requesting a table upstairs, on Tock a week before. This reservation was for Sunday, April 23, at 12pm. When we got there, we were told that they couldn t seat 5 people upstairs and only had a table next to the front door. Well ok. The restaurant was half empty, we ordered our food. The restaurant never got busy. Only 2 tables came in the entire time we were there. It took us one hour and a half to receive only two plates of our order. We waited so long, I had to go out to smoke, and it seems the kitchen manager had to go out also, but he went back in quickly after his phone call. After another 30 minutes, our other 3 plates came out. Half of our party have already finished eating. There was no expo on the line. There was no floor manager and the kitchen manager was clueless, non-observant or perhaps just not a manager. The waitress said a manager wanted to apologize to us because they had received a large party that delayed our food. However, he never came. I m not sure why the restaurant never staffed for their reservations, but ok. The food was frozen, prepared food. There is no chef at this restaurant. Hollandais sauce was tasteless. Crab cakes were frozen and made by US Food (maybe). Most likely Sysco. IHOP does a better job than that.. I m sorry but I have never had a restaurant experience as bad as this. However, the hostess was very nice and wore a beautiful period white laced dress. She bussed tables and was very accommodating. But there is no one that knows restaurants at location. Very disappointing

Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend Prime 115. I want them to be successful for the long term and am providing this feedback with the intention of helping them be at their best for future diners. The food: I ordered the Prime ribeye for $60 and my wife had the filet for $48. Upon being served, it was apparent that steaks did not appear to be prime cuts and looked nothing like the pictures on their website. And, they just didnt taste good. They were similar quality to what one could find at an interstate chain restaurant for around $20 each. The service: We arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation and there were few patrons at this point. The hostess tried to seat us at a table near the entrance close to a guy singing karaoke. Immediately, I knew this would be too loud to have a conversation. So, I politely asked for another table, in which I received an eye roll. The good news is the hostess quickly realized that I witnessed her response and quickly course corrected. I apologized for being a bother, she said no problem and found a much more desirable table, so we were all good. The waiter was great, drinks were just fine, and the table service was well done. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere: Fantastic building with great ambience. It is an old bank building from early 20th century. Its a great room for a restaurant and provides great areas to take pictures or look around. However, I would consider eliminating the karaoke singer or at least turn the volume down. Strictly my opinion, it is a bit awkward watching a guy walk around the tables with a microphone in a restaurant that charges premium prices. Finally, I love local restaurants and believe Prime 115 has the potential to be an outstanding dining experience. However, this was our third visit and now believe we have dined here enough to arrive at a fair conclusion. I dont expect Pappas Steakhouse by any means, but the reality is that if you are going on a date night and plan to spend over $100 per person, you may be better served heading into Fort Worth or Dallas. Best of luck Prime 115 and I wish you nothing but success. You have great opportunities before you and I wish you the best in seizing the day!

We heard good things about this place, unfortunately it was a disappointment for us. We arrived 20 minutes early and were seated within 5 minutes. We had sea scallops and grilled bread, both good. Pork chop was tender and had good flavor, the Prime filet was good, brussel sprouts were over-seasoned, mushrooms were bland. The lack of our attentive waiter was more of the disappointment. When my steak arrived, he didnt bother to ask if it was cooked to my liking. I think he came to the table once after we received the food and didnt ask if we needed anything, I had to ask for a second drink. He was more interested in the table of 6 next to us, telling jokes and going over menu items in detail, which we didnt get. Our waiter made us feel like more of a bother than a customer. The sad part is we couldve had the same service at chilis. Overall, experience wasnt impressive enough for us to come back.

This was the best I ve ever had, Darrell even tried it! SHOCK!! He had the 8oz Filet it was perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing (I tasted it) it was over cooked for my taste I like it rare but it melted in your mouth. I had the ciapinno pasta with scallops mussels chopped clams shrimp and crab claws in a fennel broth with fettuccine! OMG I thought I had died and went to heaven! They don t scrimp on the seafood. Darrell had the truffle Mac and cheese it was a lot it was however not what he is used to he has a country boy palette lol. I can t try it I m allergic to mushrooms snd it had black truffle oil.
