This was the absolute worst experience i ve ever had at a top golf. We are from Oklahoma so our Drivers License look differently. Me and my husband spent almost an hour of our play time getting harassed over if our IDs were valid or not. By the time they finally used a scanning app we were able to get our beer and our time was almost up. They embarrassed us in front of our whole group and every one watching. There needs to be a IDing code in place. One guy told us we were good then another comes to double check and swears both of ours are fake. Even after providing my ables license to bartend in oklahoma. We will never go back to this location.

Took the wife and kids today. Had never been to a TopGolf before today. We showed up early and played some cornhole while we waited for our bay to open which did open on time and conveniently thru text. The waitress had drinks on our table very quickly, and we played for 2 hours without any interruptions except for the manager who gave us a gift for visiting. Even though it was really busy we didnt feel rushed or bothered. I would give these guys more stars if i could. Thank you, TopGolf team. Kid-friendliness: They have golf clubs for our younger kids which really helped them get into the idea of golfing.

My son and I went to Top golf in Waco today. They were very busy. They had 2 large parties happening at the same time. However, Marcus, our waiter was awesome! Made sure our drinks didn t get too low (especially with how hot it is today!) He even chatted with my son about his shots! We had a wonderful afternoon. I do not know what the problem was with the night crew, but the bar staff was out of control. We tried to order our second drink an hour after we got here, but as my husband counted, starting with middle finger machines, go figure. Beside the point when he was counting using his hand was not directed at him. We were not mad we were friendly with him and were not causing any problems. We had just walked away from our party playing Jenga. the bartender took offense and physically touched my husband hand to put his finger down. Told him he was telling him he was being rude. I told him not to do that. My husband asked him what was the problem? He told us it was like a big f-u. So confusing 0 to100. Thank goodness for their general manager. Saved the day. They ruined our experience after buying 2 bays and spending hundreds on drinks and food. I will never go to a Waco Top golf again. Our nephew 21 wanted to order food, and the bar tender assumed he was younger and told him he needed water even though he didnt order a drink he wanted food. Pl7s when we looked at the reciets this morning they charged use for our snacks 3x to 3 diferent people. We only ordered 1x!! Wow. Never again.

It appears there were several concerning incidents during our visit that merit addressing. Firstly, despite having reserved three slots and notifying the establishment in advance of our partys size, we encountered issues upon arrival. Specifically, we were initially denied seating together under circumstances where approval had been previously granted. This discrepancy is compounded by observations that a Caucasian family, comprising significantly more individuals, faced no such seating restrictions or additional scrutiny. Furthermore, a series of financial discrepancies arose during our meal. Repeated charges totaling $84 for an order that should have amounted to significantly less specifically, three orders of fries and some pickles highlight a concerning pattern of overbilling. This issue persisted across different transactions, resulting in an inflated bill that escalated from an initial estimate of $250 to an exorbitant $500. Additionally, throughout our visit, the presence of six staff members closely monitoring our party suggests a level of surveillance disproportionate to normal customer service standards. This heightened scrutiny, coupled with the aforementioned incidents of overcharging and seating denial, leads to an uncomfortable inference regarding potential discriminatory treatment based on racial identity. In conclusion, the combination of these factors disparate treatment in seating arrangements, unjustified financial charges, and unwarranted surveillance presents a troubling narrative of possible racial bias. These incidents not only marred our dining experience but also raise significant concerns about the establishments commitment to fair and equitable treatment of all patrons. Addressing these issues promptly and transparently is essential to restoring trust and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers in the future.

First time to Topgolf for my son s birthday. We patiently waited for 2 1/2hrs to get to play. Found out we can only play a max of 2hrs (totally understandable as others are also waiting to play) problem lies in the fact that we ordered food and drinks that never showed until we had about 10 minutes left to play. We did enjoy the games to play enough to try and get back on waiting list to play again. 4hrs later went to check on how long we may have left to wait just to be told we had been removed from the wait list hours ago but I can be re added and should be able to get back on in about an hour longer. 4hrs we had already waited. 4hrs I could have been taking my son somewhere else to enjoy his birthday. Will not return to Topgolf Waco

Had to update. To provide some context, Ive been a member of TopGolf since 2023 and have played 230 games there. You can do the math to estimate how many times either my family or just I have visited. One of the highlights for me when visiting recreational venues is the ability to order beverages, particularly beer. Throughout every single visit, I have never encountered this issue before. Whether its a new policy or simply one that employees didnt enforce previously, Im not sure. Now, theres suddenly a strict rule of only two drinks per hour? Its frustrating to say the least. Im not someone who overindulges, but limiting me to just two drinks per hour feels excessive. It begs the question, why even bother going? Typically, during my 90 to 120-minute visits, I only have around four beers. This sudden change completely disrupted my experience and left a sour taste in my mouth. Sometimes, I go there alone after work to unwind with a few beers and hit some golf balls, not to get intoxicated. I am pretty disappointed TOPGOLF, I dont think I feel like rushing back anytime soon.

Bad service yesterday. Took my 14yo daughter there to hit some balls and had terrible service at bay 112 around noon. Took forever to get service initially and then anything after that was not happening. The guy took our order and just never came back. As we were walking out to leave (30 min later) he was walking to the table...hard pass! Coming from Temple...Ill just head south to Austin from now on.

I think our attendants name was Brianna (That s the name on our receipt). We were at 111 and 112 on September 2nd. She was super nice and helped out so much! The food was 10/10 so amazing. Lets talk about Top Golf. First time visiting Top Golf. A place that stands out when passing through the highway. I decided to give it a try, although Im not a fan of golf, or played it before. We made a reservation, so I can not evaluate the waiting time to be able to have a line. When we were assigned a line, in a matter of seconds, someone was already explaining everything to us how the equipment worked, how the place worked, how to order, etc. The guy who attended us was attentive to us at all times. The customer service was truly exceptional and super friendly; surprisingly good! Shout-out to the guy that serviced line 125 yesterday, truly a legend. The food was ok, not out of the ordinary, but it was good. I ordered Draft Beer and a bucket. I wish that the Draft Beer were more cold but wasnt bad eather, thats my personal choice. It is really worth going and enjoying Top Golf, although the bill at the end may build up quickly, and it can be a bit expensive. But if you can, give it a chance.

Definitely not happy with my experience here with Jared the manager and his team. Me and my friends were over charged on our bill yesterday. My bill was 78 was charged 235 dollars and when brought to their attention only gave me a sorry for the inconvenience and that it will take 5-7 days for a refund. I still had to pay the actual 78 dollar bill before leaving. My friend was charged twice and would have only known about it because she checked her bank account once I was overcharged. They also charged her 80 dollars over her actual bill. This is unacceptable and highly irresponsible of the staff. I will not be visiting this place again and encourage anybody that goes to make sure you check your accounts before you leave and get a receipt!

First time here. I took my son to celebrate his 18th birthday!! Hes been to Top golf in Florida. I was clueless but Jordan, as well as numerous others, were super helpful. There was a point in which I wasnt scoring anything so I blamed it on the machine... not my inability . Jordan came by to check on us and I told her the machine was broken. She was about to see if she could help but my niece totally stopped her. We all laughed it off although I was still sucky. She was amazing but like I said...they all were. You should give it a swing. Hahaha...get it? Yes I am that corny. Stop over in Waco for a fun evening. By the way...I ended up winning in all three games. I dont have to be great... just better than someone else

I ve been here before so didn t expect it to be as horrible of an experience as I had today. I I. Pro: its fun, and just loud enough to where other people mostly dont over hear your group but not so loud as that you cant hear your own group. The server was very attentive. Great selection of spirits. Its the first time Ive ever played golf other than put put and I had a blast! We were there for a friends birthday and the cute little thing where they come out and announce the birthday and their name in signs is something I definitely havent seen elsewhere. Con: why tf is it so expensive?! Seriously for $50 an hour they should not be charging an additional $5 for new comers. The food was reasonably priced, if it were good fresh food but most of it is premade. Jarred salsa.... its not hard to make salsa. And the nacho chips were stale af. Also, for the love of texas, it is hot, we are in shorter shorts. Those chairs at the lanes are the most annoying thing ever. If you know u know.

First off this is a single tier facility and to me its more realistic than being up high. Service at bar and at the golfing area was Top Notch. Was with a large group outing where we had a buffet and several very attentive waitstaff that were super. Very bad service, had us wait 2 hours and kept avoiding sitting us since my younger siblings were supposedly underage (all minus my daughter and niece were 18 and older). Their excuse was after 9 they supposedly have a strict policy but we checked in at 7pm and didn t get sat till 9. They then continue to rush us to leave after because the other party was waiting when they couldn t do that for us. Then the so called manager and workers were pointing and commenting about us. Very unprofessional and very disappointing. We had our 2yo baby and 4 yo niece with us and my 18yo brother and his friends. we were celebrating his high school graduation. Definitely won t recommend this place again after today. And thank you for the $10 of game play that didn t even cover any of the 2 hour wait time. Never again. Dallas and Austin locations are way better. Waco location is a joke!

I am not by any means a golfer but this was a blast. Let s just put it this way I am amazed if I can hit the ball at all. We played the angry birds game and I wasn t bad at all. There are games for everyone no mater what level player you are. It s definitely a good time and you can have fun together. I hope they have a top golf near my hometown. You may have to wait till you re actual lane is ready. However, try out the mini golf it s worth the $5 and it s a blast. You won t be disappointed. The nachos tasted great, filling and worth the money. The alcoholic lemonade I had was over priced and definitely not worth the money. I was happier with a tap beer. If you have a loved one that enjoys golf but you re not a fan I highly recommend this place. It will definitely help you enjoy a sport they love! I now look forward to going here.

First time at this location. I didnt really like the single level and we ended up way on the very end so hitting toward the holes felt awkward. The holes arent holes either, they are just painted targets. I guess this is all just personal preference though. All staff members were very helpful and friendly which made our visit a good one. First off, I would like to say Top Golf as a general business is fantastic, and for years I have thoroughly enjoyed going, in fact I had my 16th at the Centennial Top golf in 2017. This visit was for my roommate and I to have a belayed celebration of my 22nd birthday. My roommate, having a California ID, got a drink with no problem. The bartender, a taller gentleman with long curly hair and a gotee, however, first looked at my ID, which is the new 2022 Colorado ID, and gave it back, taking my order and returning to the bar. He later returns and ask for my ID once more, and then proceeds to have it for 5 minutes, having multiple other employees inspect, after returning my ID he states with confidence and conviction I will not be giving you your drink because that is a fake ID . I then proceed to offer him two alternate forms of Identification, my Colorado Douglas County Concealed Carry License, and my University BearID profile, both of which state my DOB, of course matching my State Issued ID, neither of which he gives the time of day. He immediately states, without looking at my alternate IDs, that he will send the manger to talk with me. No server or bartender came to our table to check on or bring our order, my roommate had to go to the bar to ask for a new server. The manager, after waiting 20 minutes, never makes an appearance at our table, therefore, I go up to the bar and ask to speak with the manager. The manager was very short and rude with me, stating you don t need one beer to have fun with your friends, if you looked 30 it would be different. I tried to understand why my ID was not taken, as this is the first instance, Colorado IDs are renowned for being very precise with measures that prevent counterfeit. She states that the emblem at bottom right hand corner of the ID does not fit their handout, which I then suggested was not properly updated, she assured me that it was. I again try and show my two alternate forms of identification, she, as the bartender, did not choose to look. She states that she cannot make the bar tender serve me because it would be him that would get in trouble, which I understand, if I was indeed was underage. I hope this review finds the right people, to make sure that nobody else s event and night is ruined at such an expensive establishment.

This was my first time at top golf, and it was a fun experience. However, it is only one level. All of the bays are on the ground level, which takes away from the experience, if you are used to multitiered levels. We got chips and queso, along with the injectable donuts, both of which were delicious. however, as far as the golfing goes, most of the balls were not calibrated so they did not count a lot of points and it took away from the excitement of the game. We did inform a staff member of this who stated she would look into it.

Visited my family in Waco for the holidays. There was 12 of us, so we booked 2 bays. We called ahead multiple times to try and get booths next to one another. We were told we had to wait till we arrived to request it. When we got there and asked about getting two together, the manager was extremely rude and said no. When we went to our area, we noticed the group next to us had 5 min remaining. Our waiter went to ask if we could switch to theirs when their time was up. The manager got mad and yelled at the waiter for even asking. We had to split up our group even when the empty stall was available. Both waiters that we had were great but the management is terrible and treat their customers very poorly. I really love going to Topgolf but I will not go back to this one.

Went to Top Golf Waco for my birthday. This was the first time going to a single level Top Golf and it was great. We frequently visited a three level Top Golf in Roseville and we loved it there. Thebstaff at Top Golf Waco were amazing. Heather was our server and she was the best. We never had to ask for refills and she was super attentive to anything we needed. Angela, a manager, was also super helpful and made sure we knew that if we needed anything to let her know. The ball tracking worked great as did the programs on all the games. I was getting ready to hit off the tee and I heard all of this shouting and whooping and hollering. I thought maybe everyone was yelling that Baylor scored a touchdown, so I turn around, and I see a bunch of the Top Golf staff standing there with a big Happy Birthday sign, and each with a letter of my name and they sang me Happy Birthday. It was a great surprise that they did on their own for us. They even handed me a birthday card that they all signed. That is an amazing example of excellent customer service, and going above and beyond.

The experience of going there is really something. I recommend trying it at lest once! The staff are very kind and helpful, just keep in mind it will be busy so it might take a little to get what you ordered. Major props to management on check up with everyone and making sure everything going well. Really clean and decent pricing!

As my first time at a top golf, it was definitely something to try again. We were fit into a booth quickly, and the staff were kind. The experience itself is really neat - the ball tracking technology must rely on some sort of black magic. As a software developer, I can only imagine the investment into the technology used to make the interactive games work.

I got a burger with bacon and bbq sauce and went took a bit of this burger it was very pink in the inside of the burger was very thrown off about hand so the red shirt guy came and took care of it and had them order me another one after that I really didn t want another burger but I said ok and I have to admit that I already know what was gonna happen the second burger still was pink but not as pink as the last one I still didn t eat the burger thou so the red shirt guy took it off my tab and that was ok so far me and my wife got 2 drinks and the were kinda strong but hey they hitting so far the wait for a spot to golf out side was about a hour and a half so there was plenty to experience while we wait the waiter and waitress were very nice and conversational which is a plus . Even thou the wait to golf was long I think I would still come again . BUT NOT ORDER A BURGER LOL

If I could give no stars I would. I had the worst experience of my entire life from this staff. They gave me juice when I ordered a shot of alcohol. A waitress that served the alcohol, even agreed they re was no alcohol, told us to drink our juice and continued to charge us for the alcohol price. Our bay waitress, who even tasted it, told us there was indeed no type of any alcohol in our shot. We told the manager on site, who proceeded to give us the worst customer service, and escalated the situation. He got aggressive with a female in our party! She was respectfully telling him about his waitress that treated us with the upmost disrespect, and he told her You don t need to be coming at me sideways. When she was clearly telling him the entire situation, he even called security on our party when he never even got notified or even know what was going on in the situation. He also informed us a lot of the workers were 18 years old, that being said these hostesses were tasting alcoholic drinks. Would never recommend this place.

We hosted an event here with around 25 people. It was a great time. The staff was well equipped to handle the large party, and kept us served at all times. The setting is great, with an outdoor patio to hang out at, large projector to watch games, and lots of games like Cornhole etc to play as well. Mini golf course is fun too!

We had our company outing here at Top Golf 5/12/22. It was a great time. The facility was extremely well kept and clean. The staff was very friendly and super accommodating. Our server/helper was Ethan. He took the time to chat with me for a bit and get to know some of us. He was a delight to be around and took care of our group amazingly! I would recommend coming here to anyone looking to release, have fun and oh, I almost forgot..... The Food Was AWESOME!!! So, anyone looking for food and fun, this is your place! We held our Team Bonding event at Top Golf for the Waco Amazons IT dept and it could not have been more of a success! What an incredible and seamless process this was. Top Golf offered an excellent event package for our team that was able to accommodate 2 hours of fun and plenty of food and drinks within our Party Budget. The staff was super nice and helpful! A couple of BIG SHOUTOUTS to: 1. Brook Hill who helped us with our reservations, pricing, and getting everything squared away for us to provide the best deal. Thank you for your patience and thorough information! 2. Jordan our server (i think that was her name). What a ball of energy and the kindest soul! She took care of us the entire time. She was so sweet and attentive to anything we needed. She stayed on top of our drink orders, food, and kept us in the loop with our food and drink budget. She made the experience 10x better by providing amazing customer service. As we pride ourselves on this at Amazon! 3. Mason and one more lady who I cannot remember her name (red vest the day we came in). I went to top golf for the first time with coworkers. I was hoping for a nice evening. The waiter never asked if I wanted a drink (after 30+ mins) so I went to the bar, and ordered a draft beer. After about 20 mins I asked a coworker if they wanted a shot. We had our shot and returned to our bay. The manager approached me, and informed me that I needed to order my drinks from my waiter. I said I apologize, but he wasn t very attentive so I found another option. I told him I would tab out, and leave because I didn t want any issues. So I did. At the bar Marisa approached me, and said they thought I had been over served. I was one beer and a shot in at this point. She looked at my tab, and recognized that I had not been over served. Tried to make right the wrong, but at this point I have been embarrassed in front of my coworkers and new friends. I will not be returning to any top golf. I understand that you have issues with other customers, but I m not that person or persons. I wanted to have a nice night after a hard day at work, and I was treated like a drunk. Marisa is the only saving grace of this experience. If not for her it would have been a 0 star review. Thank you Marisa for make a horrible day somewhat better.

Big fan of Topgolf. Great location. Been to three other locations nationwide previous. The Waco location is cool. A different style than the others I went to. One ground floor only and no upstairs levels but this one has a outdoor 9 hole putting course. Family style recreation area also. Food and drinks were excellent. Waitress was very good. Thanks we had a blast.

It is a really nice location and I do recommend you try it, just not on a Friday or Saturday. We had to wait in the reception line for maybe 15 minutes (which isn t that long for reception), but the overall wait would be 2 hours which is unfortunate. Though we did not get to experience the top golf, I absolutely loved the location and cleanliness. It is like all Top Golfs, but this was as I said, nice and clean. The staff where also kind, so thank you.

This location is mediocre at best, the targets are in odd positions, the trackers for the balls do not track correctly. Its one level unlike the Austin location. Wait staff is slow, and the vibe there is nothing like the Austin location. Overall, just a mediocre experience for us.

A friend and I took my son and his friends there yesterday for his birthday. Despite there being many open bays as it was 3:00 on a Tuesday, they refused to put us side by side, which makes it an event with a $175 minimum food order. Rather than just being open about the fact that theyre not going to allow it because they need to make money, they tried to tell me it was about the system requirements and that the machine just assigns you to a bay and they cant override it etc., and that they actually were quite busy and had lots of people coming in, which I observed not to be the case over the subsequent two hours. It just gave me a bad taste and a poor customer service vibe. Would it really kill you to put a mom and her kids next to each other on a chilly weekday afternoon? We ended up ordering a bunch of food and drinks.. not $175 worth but still quite a bit. Anyway, had they just said it costs $175 to have side by side bays period, no matter how many bays are open, I would have respected that a lot more...

This is definatly not the place to have a party with a tall and possibly loud man. It seems the General manager Marrisa likes to throw out men stating he is making staff unconfortable. Let me tell you family paid for golf , food and drinks with a reservation and $500. We show up and are immediatly harrassed and badgered. The experience of booking and accommodating dietary restrictions was terrible, but the actual play was pretty good. We had to wait a while for our host to come get refills and had to track her down several times. The trackers were not accurate at all and led to some frustrations among our group.
