If the owner is not at the restaurant the service is slow. Took 35 minutes to get seated and took another 15 just to get our drinks we ordered. They are slow and forgetful when it comes to your order. All they do is stand behind the counter and talk to each other instead of serving tables

One of the best breakfast places I ve been to in Waco. Highly recommend! My husband and I enjoyed a lovely omelette combo that came with a pancake or toast. I specifically had the taco omelette and my husband had the fajita omelette. We also got a side of corned beef hash. The coffee is also scrumptious. Highly recommend this lovely cafe. The cafe has a discount for paying in cash.

Came on a Sunday morning, wasn t busy at all. There was no wait at the door. Two waitresses walked past us numerous times without speaking a word. After 5 minutes of waiting we left. If they were too busy to seat us I would understand, but it would ve looked better if they could have at least acknowledged us and told us they would be with us in a few minutes.

Went here a week ago. And well Ill stick to the one in downtown. The food was great. But the service was no bueno. I asked for a booth, but they ignored me and sat me at a table I dont know why I actually gave my waitress (the Caucasian w/the pixie cut) a tip... She didnt bring my food out, someone else did. She didnt bring my drink, someone else did. I went EARLY in the morning where there were no people. And she kept forgetting things I requested. She didnt deserve my tip sadly.

The modern decoration atmosphere and the floor and tables are clean. Employees are not so passionated about leading the table and taking the orders. Food came very fast with not fresh bacon, old hash browns. Service fee is charged on the bill which is indicated their services quality is suspicious .

My daughter and I met for breakfast after I had just gotten off of work (midnight shift). Not the first time we ve been and I have always liked the food. We placed our order and conversed while we waited. I see a friend of mine walk in with her family and they had a seat 2 tables down from us. Not shortly after they ordered, their food came out (while we were still waiting). I noticed that they had an issue with what they ordered and were talking to the runner (who brings out the food from the kitchen). Before he heads back to correct whatever was wrong with their order, I briefly stopped him to ask about ours. About 5 minutes later, our server comes and apologizes and informs us that she accidentally forgot to push print when entering our order and therefore the kitchen never received. She then says that they will promptly get it ready for us. My friend and her family ate, received their tickets, disputed somethings on there, paid and left while we were finally getting our food from the runner who asked if we needed anything else. I asked for hot sauce , and extra napkins. I did not receive the extra napkins and I had to stop my server to ask her for the hot sauce. Then, after eating my eggs and hash browns (which were delicious ) i digged into my waffle and and while eating it, I noticed that my waffle did not have pecans like I ordered. By this point I m feeling like we are getting the short end of the stick so I asked our server if she would ask her manager if I could get a discount. The manager said , No and said they would gladly make me a pecan waffle and I could take home. I declined due to I was already full and about to go to sleep since I work midnight s. Plus I doubt a waffle would taste perfect after being refrigerated for several hours since I like my waffle crispy. Alright by this time, I m done, full and ready for bed so I pay and go. I gave at least 20% tip because I was a server before and I ve made mistakes before too. But the way the manager handled the situation, I feel, was not correct. 10% discount would have made me happy. Even getting my coffee free (which was just plain black coffee and was not offered a refill ) would have satisfied me. Surely the manager did not get the whole story and chose the decision they chose based on the customer asked for a pecan waffle and only received a plain one and is asking for a discount , right? . Ps. I called my friend and sure enough, they messed up on her sisters order. They gave her over-hard eggs with sausage patties instead of over easy with sausage links. (Over-hard and sausage patties was my daughters order). I want to be clear. I love the food. But the service this time and the time before that was horrible.

This is the best breakfast place in Waco. I am not a Waco native and this spot has the best quality food. Tip: get the sweet potato pancakes. The service is unmatched! Food was okay, not great. It was basic and bland. The kids got the mint chocolate. I got the vanilla coconut latte but didn t taste any coconut or vanilla in it. My fiancé and I eat there every Sunday morning after church. The food is always well prepared and the white stuff is always welcoming. This morning I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese omelette and the omelette was completely full of bacon. You will not be disappointed with the bacon, egg and cheese or sausage, egg and cheese omelettes. We recommend this place highly, and we enjoy eating there every weekend.

Made a CL in order coming from Hillsboro. Clearly with the understanding that it may not be fresh. No problem we had to drop ve 35 min back home anyway...it wasnt going to be fresh. Issue was I received 3 calls within 30 min from restaurant about order. Very much a bother while driving and borderline harassment. The lady who answered was very smart mouthed. Make it to the store lady was nice at counter. BUT after all those calls.. the order was incorrect. Today, I went to Cafe Cappuccino looking for a good breakfast in a place that I had not visited before. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the decoration, a decoration that makes you feel good. But I dont think you are reading this review to know about how they decorated the place... When I arrived, they attended me quickly, and offered me a table. The wait to order was not that long either. I can say that the service was excellent. Although when I left there were a lot more people in the restaurant and I dont think there were many people to serve, compared with the number of people that were in the restaurant. I did knowledge that the servers were in a rush. But lets focus on my experience; it was an excellent service. Now lets talk about the food. The food was good, and it came pretty fast. Everything was well cooked, but of everything I ordered, what stood out was the breakfast burrito with bacon... The bacon was crispy and flavorful, and everything in that burrito was perfect. The rest was normal, something you can find in any good breakfast place in town. This was my first time dining at Cafe Cappucino. I had looked it up online and decided to give it a try. I would have given 1 star based on the food alone, but again, I decided to give it a chance to rectify my concern(s). When I walked in, my first impression was that it was a quaint and cozy restaurant. I waited a few minutes to see if I would be greeted and nothing. No hello or welcome...nothing. A nice gentleman who was standing beside me brought to my attention that there is a QR scan code that you must use to register on their waitlist. Ohhh okay. Well, for us older generations, we are still trying to get use to all the apps and scan codes in our faces. Anyways, I went through the routine of getting my name on the waitlist. A few minutes later I was called and taken to my booth. My waitress was named Daphne, and she had a warm and pleasant personality. I ordered the scrambled eggs, a hot link sausage with crispy hashbrowns, a pancake, a cup of grits and a coffee. Id say I waited about 7-8 minutes before my food arrived. When I began to try the eggs, I found that they were barely warm as well as my pancake and my grits were lukewarm and soupy. This is the south, and its unheard of for grits to be soupy...ever. I mean, visually, it looked appealing enough to eat, but I dont eat cold food, and Im certainly not okay with spending my money on cold food. Daphne came over and asked if everything was alright and I told her no. She then sent over the Manager of the Day, Dale. He listened to my concern and offered me a redo. I accepted, and he had the waiter bring me hot scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and a freshly made pancake, which is the actual size of the plate it sits on. The food was good, but not as amazing as I would have hoped for. I can appreciate the effort from Daphne and Dale to address my concern and leave me satisfied. I believe I will return in the future to try other dishes this place has to offer, and hopefully, I can give more stars for A+ service. But for now, they will get a C +.

We had a party of 6 and signed into the digital waitlist when we arrived, as directed. Wasn t too busy, lots of open tables. We waited around and didn t get any acknowledgment from the staff and could see plenty of open tables large enough for our party. After 10 mins, asked a staff member if she had any idea on wait time for our party and received snarky comments. Was told well actually, we only have two tables large enough for your party (both open, with no one else waiting). Since they weren t going to seat us or give us a time frame for waiting, we decided to leave and received a sarcastic bye. We have eaten at cafe cappuccino in the past and has good experiences. Nice interior but food wasnt good. Not worth the wait for the food. Pancakes were undercooked and flour-y. The other dishes at the table were bland. We waited outside for an hour and inside for one and a half before getting food with mutliple mistakes in the order. Rarely saw any staff and had to go up to front counter with our long-empty mugs to get more drinks. We did get mistakes taken off the check. Still not worth the near 3 hours spent there. We were a table of 6. It was a weekend morning. We had heard such good things about this place and we really wanted to like it. 2 stars for the benefit of the doubt.

There are 2 locations. This is for Richland Drive location. We will never grace their door again! If you ask for a second plate to split a meal, they will only give you a small saucer, saying they charge almost $2. Never encountered that in my life. While some things on the menu are good , they are not as great as some competitors. Overpriced also for quality and service. Oh yes, the service!!! It stinks! On a Sunday, the girl entered the phone number wrong. We waited too long in the car and only learned that when we went in to see if there was a problem. No apology or admittance to her error. Finally seated, we were subjected to the same slow service, mix up on order, we usually are. They cannot understand plain English to get an order straight. Part of problem may be you are not tended to by only one server so that leaves much room for miscommunication. At any rate, by now we were getting pretty irritated and when I said so, waitress complained I was being rude. I think this whole ordeal would have taxed a Saint. And it was final compilation of too many similar experiences th. Also problems start at the top! Manager was unpleasant telling us they charged for plate larger than a saucer. The only thing going for place is pretty decor but that doesnt fill your belly. I WOULD NOT recommend this location under any circumstances.

If you have nothing better to do then come to Cafe Cappuccino. You will be waiting outside for a good 40 minutes and not get your food an hour later, and even then it is not worth it the food was under cooked, one of my family members had to go and ask them for a another cup of coffee after we already asked a while ago as well as they got our order wrong.

We were very disappointed with the service and managements lack of acknowledgement. After waiting 50 mins and still no food, the manager came to set up a separate table, asked how we were doing and when we responded that we hadnt gotten our food, said he would check on it and never came back. When our food did arrive 10 mins later, my daughters pancakes were raw and they could taste the uncooked mix, and only half of it came, the second half came about 5 mins later and the order was wrong. Now granted we were a party of six so we expected a wait time, but the amount of time that passed, the manager not acknowledging the issue for the delay and the incorrect order, will not have my family back.

I ve been trying to call downtown cafe Cappucinno for Brittany and my call is going unanswered. Had issues at this store and wanted to speak with management but was told that it was Cathy s first day so she could not help me. Getting good customer service has went down over the years for them and the store needs better attention. First review I ve wrote disappointed!

Did not have a pleasant experience this time(previous has been very good). Ordered sweet tea/ very little ice, got little cup, changed out to larger cup with very little tea. Ordered croissant egg sandwich/ over easy egg, got scrambled. I understand being understaffed but when they write down you order & it comes out wrong, it seems to be waisting everyones precious time not to mention $$ to correct.

My family checked in on QRC code as requested at 9:05 am with a party of 5, with 3 parties in front of me, so I did expect to wait, BUT besides the parties already in line they also let a new party of 5 in front of me, stating they were a party of 4 with a child (who still took a seat, 5) They then told me I would be the next big party, but instead let another large party who missed their reservation before us. We cancelled our reservation at 9:54 because of their inconsiderate, unfair, non-hospitality service. its just food, but customer service matters!

Cafe Cappuccino was delicious with huge portions! I got the pancakes (huge variety of options) with bacon and eggs. The banana chocolate chip pancakes were excellent! My mouth is watering just thinking about the great food. I will definitely be back to have some brunch. Thanks Cafe Cappuccino!

Decided to check this place out because it was near by, and we were quite pleased all around. Great menu, good food, and affordable price. Got a huge delicious spread for $30- took home enough food for 2 more meals :-D Staff was courteous and prompt. Modern, recently renovated building, with good quiet ambiance. The only thing I they could improve was juice menu, apple or orange juice only. Most breakfast places offer some juice blends or smoothies..

9:57 am Sunday morning this place is very busy with 7 people waiting to be seated. I never fault an establishment for being busy or not answering the phone but failing to greet a customer walking in the door is not good. The hostess was doing her best answering questions from the others waiting but there were 4 employees behind the counter in view of the entrance that could have said, someone will be with you shortly. I stood there for two minutes and left. This place seems to be doing well other than my simple complaint. Two stars because the place smelled amazing and looked clean.

Today was our first time at this incredible place. The ambiance was perfect. Relaxing. Great music. The food was awesome! The menu selections were vast and the flavors were SO yummy! I had the Gingerbread Waffle and Rhett had the Banana Nut French toast. We shared a spinach and mozzarella omelet. ALL of it was delicious!! GREAT service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Make sure to stop in and try...everything!

Not a fan of the scan to get on our waiting list unless there is a time associated with it to let us know of it is an hour or 10 minutes. Took 40 minutes to be seated, another 10 to take our order. Food came out rather quickly. Good portions. Unfortunately we had a hair in our hashbrowns. Let our server know and they apologized and took of 50% of that ONE entree. Aside from the hair in the food, it was just ok.

Went in for breakfast, not busy at all with only about 6 tables of customers. Waited 15 minutes for a waitress to no avail. Finally got up and left telling the Waitress gathered up around the register gossiping and laughing, basically having a good time. I won t be back.

Each time I come to Cafe Cappuccino Im more disappointed than the last. The food is only okay and the coffee is more hot water than coffee. But the biggest problem is that the price doesnt even come close to matching the quality. $25 for two people just isnt reasonable for reheated food made with not-so-fresh ingredients.

It used to be great. Gingerbread latte was horrible. The food was just OK. I ordered a 3 egg omelet, and my wife ordered 2 eggs scrambled. She definitely had more than 2 eggs, and I definitely had less than 3. Ill stick with Cracker Barrell.

Our first visit and we loved it! Went around 11 for brunch, fairly busy but seated our party of 2 within 10 mins. Ordered a coconut vanilla latte and a white chocolate mocha and hazelnut latte. Both were amazing. Pecan waffle, sausage gravy over biscuits, eggs, and migas were all delicious. Large portions of great food and great service. Will definitely be back when we are in town. Highly recommend!

I just dont understand were these review are coming for this was the worst breakfast my wife and i ever had first the pancake was not done in the middle there not very good with eggs the sausage was turkey which ther offered on the menu I know the difference. My wifes eggs were cooked like a omelet instead of soft scrambled and when we told the waiterss about the eggs she didnt even offer to take them back and redo them at this point we where done. We told her our problem with the food and didnt ask if we wanted a manager or offered to take any thing off the ticket. we just paid and left, then went to Waffle House. This place has so much potential. The food is great, except they do not use real butter or even offer it. On Sunday mornings, there is a very long line, but they have no seating for those who are waiting, indoors or outdoors. There was a woman with a cane leaning against the window for the 45 minutes I was waiting, and no one even offered her a chair. I took one from an empty table for her. Seating should be offered outdoors, and a couple of chairs inside for the long waits. The staff cannot do a great job because there are not enough of them, so the customers are not walking out happy. The manager was not there at all. All that said, the food really is good, except for the fake butter (which is what they cook with, too, according to the server). The workers are not cheerful, but theyre getting by.
