UPDATE to 4* AS OF OCT. 2024. The management has improved. My wife is dairy and soy free, so we have to do a bunch of fancy custom options in our online order every time. Even before this allergy issue, probably 30 to 40% of the time they would mess up or forget something in our order. I would call and let them know and they give us a refund but its just annoying when you dont get the food that you actually want to eat. Not anymore!! Recently, they actually called me proactively and made sure to confirm my order over the phone because they noticed it was pretty complex. They actually caught an issue that we were able to fix before we got our food, so all is well. I will say that the food portions seem to have gone down a bit, maybe its inflation or supply chain stuff but its definitely noticeable in the past couple years. Anyway, cant fault this individual Restaurant per se, overall four stars for a fast casual chain restaurant.

We love BJ s. Tonight, Alayna was our server, and she took such great care of us even though she was also serving a bus load of kids. She made a personal connection that really made us feel like we were family. The food came out quickly and hot. She checked in at appropriate times and made conversation with us but still gave us space to be alone. Also, the pizookie pass is a great deal! Update: Went again tonight with the family. Randomly got Alayna again. We were also in a section with Scott, who we have had as a server before. They worked together so well in this section and both gave us great service. They have kids starters of fruit and goldfish that you can have for the kids! Again, we got great service and hot food. Great place to eat dinner with the family. 9/27 Update: Took the family for only pizookies tonight. Had 1 free with the pass and got two more. Used $10 of rewards points. Sometimes a server would treat you less professionally knowing the bill would be so little, but that is not how Tally treated us. She treated us like any other table making sure our needs were met. This is my favorite restaurant! I come down to Texas for vacations every year and always have to go once or twice while I am here. The food is delicious, the drinks are perfect and the service is extraordinary. Elena is the best server! Not only is she always smiling and inviting but she is also on top of all your needs and makes sure you leave satisfied. Every time we go we request her section and have yet to have anything but spectacular service. Thank you BJs & Elena for making my trips great. I always look forward to getting to eat there.

Ordered 80.00 worth of food and I had missing items. The asparagus looked like it had seen better days. The ribs and tri-tip smelled/tasted almost gamey and like it was boiled before grilling. Not sure what was up with that. Wasnt able to speak with anyone because it was almost closing time when o got my food. I did the order through door dash but my food came in a sealed bag and the drivers have nothing to do with missed items from a sealed bag or quality of meat.

My mom and I frequent BJ s almost weekly after attending dr appointments in Waco. If we eat anywhere else it s just not the same so we find our way back to BJ s. Elena F. is always so friendly and efficient.She sets the atmosphere and we are always requesting her area. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, we came to BJ s and Elena didn t realized that the courtesy and conversation held that day was very uplifting. It has now become a tradition on Wednesdays and Mondays and today we have my granddaughter with us who I know will totally enjoy the pizookies.

I ate here today for dinner and ordered a ribeye with side of house salad the ribeye was good,but the house salad was absolutely amazing whoever made my house salad on the date of September 19th 2024 at 7:30ish pm is amazing. The house salad was perfect the carrots,cucumber,tomatoes all perfectly portioned with the perfect drizzle of ranch and cheese and finally topped of with croutons. I ve never had such and amazing salad in my entire life and I don t think I ever will. This is the kind of food they must ve enjoyed during the last supper with food blessed by Jesus. This is becoming our go to place again. I ve always loved the variety of food and drinks, but service was hit and miss with a lot of misses. Now when we go we ask for Alayna and she s always a hit! Now I can say the food AND service are 5 stars. Kid-friendliness: It s a louder restaurant with music so anytime my son is loud I m not even worried about him interfering with any other diners experience. I can actual relax and enjoy my food! Not to mention kids get a pre course treat of fruit and goldfish!

Jason Scott Adkins was our waiter, originally it was supposed to be some other waiter that just made us wait without greeting us or even drinks. He goes by Scott, anyways. Scott was awesome! Took good care of us, amazing personality, great attitude, he was actually a waiter that enjoyed his job/serving others/and HELPING. Instead of a someone with no personality/horrible attitude/and ones that just want to go home and not be here serving customers. Ive come to this location many many times in the last 3 years, table sitting 5-12 people randomly. OVERALL TODAY WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! THANK YOU SCOTT!! We will be back requesting you!! All other servers need to take a lesson from him, make your customers happy and be sure everything is fresh like today. Youre the man Scott!

Our family loves BJs but really enjoyed every moment tonight. The avocado rolls and calamari are great to start and there are some filling, flavorful meals like the hickory bacon and Brisket burger or some savory lite meals like Mediterranean bowl. These plates were delicious and our server Alayna B went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all evening! Apart from making sure our food was served and prepared accordingly, Alayna also checked to make sure that our preferred sport/game was on the TV closest to us. We had a great experience thanks to Alayna!

The food was, unfortunately, quite underwhelming compared to the reviews. Hopefully, it was a one off experience... Lemon Pepper wings were salty. Bacon cheese burger was very greasy, yet dry. Philly cheese steak was lacking a lot of flavor. Unfortunately it took until the end of the meal to get a refill on our drinks. Thank you for the kind staff, but unfortunately this might be the last time I eat here. Fries are amazing though! Nice and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. 10/10 fries. Edit: the wait was also very long, didnt expect it to be there for almost 2 hours and only ate for approximately 30mins of those 2 hours

My husband and I were in town for funeral and afterwards we seen my father., anyway we both were hungry and decided on BJs atmosphere was nice. Service was outstanding from Elena. I enjoyed it so much myself and 2 of my cousins came back the next afternoon and had wonderful service once again. Mind you the first time I had went to BJs on Friday June 19th then back to visit with family due to my dad being Ill. Scrumptious Spinach Artichoke dip, we also sat in the booth my husband and I sat the first visit. We had the great pleasure of Elena as our waitress.

Great place to go and enjoy the atmosphere is great the food is 5 stars and the service was outstanding. Had a great visit at BJs Restaurant & Brewhouse. The food was good and the drinks were good. Very attentive wait staff and great atmosphere with plenty of TVs for the sports crowd but not overly loud to where you can still have good conversation during the meal. I would recommend it. This is not a fast food place. Expect to take your time. We were in a large group and so ordered drinks and some appetizers. She came by almost 20 minutes after we got the appetizers to take our order for entrees. Again it took 20-30 minutes to get our food. It was worth the wait. Food was really good and served hot.

Me and my lady showed up immediately greeted with a nasty attitude, sat down, took forever for our waitress to come to us and take our order, ordered the sirloin scampi combo, ordered it medium well, was medium rare at best, very undercooked cold, mash potatoes were trash, broccoli and the brussel sprouts were decent, scampi was good. The waitresses were rude the whole time, had to flag down another waitress twice because ours wouldn t come check on us. Traveling through Waco, TX and ate at BJs Restaurant & Brewhouse. It was so good! Had the Thursday night special rack of baby back ribs with 2 sides and a dessert. The ribs litteraly melted in your mouth. The sauce was amazing. The roasted veggies were pretty spicy so watch out for those! The oreo pazookie and vanilla ice cream was so delicious! We like to come here and eat when we visit Waco, because the food is good. This particular visit was good, except the service. The moment we walked in the hostess ,a larger older woman with long hair, was rude right from the start. And our server was slow and rushed us out the door. Then didnt even come back to cash our ticket out. The other servers were rude to my husband when he asked where could we cash out ticket out , and rolled their eyes and were snippy with him. Very rude service. Im not sure what has gone on in an establishment to make all these workers be rude on the same day, but YIKES!....

Our waitress was not engaged at all, I ordered coffee and she never offered any sugar or sweetener I had to ask. Everything thing we ordered or ask her for she just brought it and sit it on the table and walked away. I m not sure if she was just having a bad day or what. The vibe there was so off after our appetizer I wanted to just leave and not order anything else but my husband convinced me that we should stay. I will say that the gentleman that brought our entrees out was friendly and nice. However I didn t eat it, we decided to just leave so we took it to go. When we got back to the hotel and later I went to eat my chicken fettuccine to my surprise they didn t put any chicken in it. We have eaten at BJs before in DFW where we live but it s been a while, so I guess things have change and I probably won t anymore. This has done it for me and BJs. Disappointed Former Customer.

They were mildly busy, but after sitting at our table for 10-15 minutes with a 3 and 2 year and no one showed up to even take our drink orders, I had to go to the front desk to say I dont think our waitress knows they are on our table. It took long enough for us to start think to think about leaving or asking again before anybody showed up. Of course when she finally showed up, we had our complete order ready to go including 2 steaks at medium rare. When the steaks showed up, they were somewhere between blue and rare. I flagged down who I presume was the manager and told him our steaks were supposed to be med rare to which he apologized, and took them to the back. When they returned, initially they looked better. But the more we cut into them, the more it looked like they barely did anything at all. I would rate it lower but the rest of the food was pretty good along with my kids food.

Mama made a reservation for Black Friday. We walked in and the older woman with very short blonde/grey hair said, in a biting tone, before she could even finish the word reservation, doesnt matter, no wait! Daddy ordered artichoke spinach dip. It was cold & we let the waiter know & they microwaved it (gross). Then our meals came out. My husband and I ordered the filets. As soon as it was cut open all the blood spilled out, exposing that the steak hadnt been rested before being brought to the table. The server asked how it was and I explained what happened. He got the manager after profusely apologizing. The manager asked if I wanted a re-fire on the steak and I said no, so he asked what he could do. I said, offer my Mama a free dessert. His whole face changed and he accusing-ly said, there is absolutely NO way that woman is your mother! Exasperated, I explained that I grew up in foster homes and was adopted by her as an adult. He was speechless for a moment and said hed comp the appetizer, my meal and Mamas dessert. He left. My husband took a bite of his mashed potatoes and they were ice cold. We told the waiter. He took them and they microwaved them and they burnt my husbands tongue. They did comp what they said they would. Daddys fish & chips were really good as well as Mamas Asian salad & root beer float.

We love going to dine at BJs, and especially, if Elena Feliciano is our waitress. There is just no other experience like having her. As regulars, even the host staff knows we prefer Elena. We will wait when her tables are full. We always know our food will be on point and if there is ever a change to quality, it is fixed immediately by manager or staff.
