Dont waste your time and money here. I dont know how its rated so high. Its like if Walmart opened an upscale restaurant. Steak and chicken overcooked. Tasted like a microwaved meal. I was waiting for more water for more time than I had water available to drink with my meal.

My husband and I went for lunch this past Friday. We were greeted by a pleasant hostess who had us seated in about 10 minutes, which is how long she said it would take. Not too bad considering how busy they were. We were looking forward to trying the food here for the very first time. But after 20-ish+ minutes, no one had come to our table to take our order--not even a drink order. Again, the restaurant was busy. We understood this and wouldve waited 30 minutes if thats what was needed for someone to get to us. But then I noticed that a couple who had been seated after us was being brought their appetizer. I dont want to speculate as to why we were overlooked. Whatever the reason, it was unacceptable. We wont be back.

This is one of the most casual, but fancy places I have been to in Tyler. Everything we got was superb. The waiter that we had. He was very nice accommodated everything that we needed. I would recommend this place to any family that someone on a budget, but is also looking for a little bit of business casual. I got a carnitas sandwich, with fries and Gouda mac & cheese. That is one of the best mac & cheese I ve ever had! I also got a smoked old-fashioned that s one of the best experiences I ve had with the making of an old-fashioned.

Update: dont know whats happening with this restaurant but the last few times Ive come here the service been horrible. Youre waiting a long time for service. And to make it worse they cutting corners when theyre serving you a shot of liquor. Every establishment Ive been standard 1.5 is a shot this place is giving you 1.0 but keep the price of 1.5. To me that is rip off. Waiting for service to be ripped off on the liquor!! no way. Also, Ive been informed 3palm, and FDs are all affiliated and theyre all cutting corners when serving your shot of liquor. food is still edible.. just dined at 12, sat at the bar and was served by spanish girl bartender Stacy or lacy.... Excellent service!! Food was good, medallion cooked to specification. garlic chicken, great flavor but bit rubbery. Common when chicken is forced to defrost too fast. broccoli-phenomenal!!!

Where do I even start this was the first time coming here decided to try them based on the ratings we were seated in the Rosa Parks section, the food was a negative zero my steak was beyond over cooked and stepped on! My husband s rice under the grilled Mahi was chewy and overcooked like it had been sitting in the bottom of a rice cooker the seafood on top of the fish seemed to be old as well. My daughter enjoyed her sushi bowl and my 4 year old seemed to enjoy his fried chicken tenders and fries but then again how do you go wrong with that? The waitress wasn t attentive at all when I told her that my steak was overcooked like eating leather she simply said that she had told them that I wanted it medium and told me that the kitchen was now closed. With that said tonight we clearly chose to a bad establishment because the type of restaurants that we frequent if there is an issue regarding the food s quality being in question it s remade hands down but that s very rare that that comes up. Tried it and DO NOT recommend I sent my food back she STILL brought the check with the food being billed. I ve been a waitress many moons ago because of this anywhere that we go the tip is always equal to our bill. If my husband leaves a tip for less than that it s a problem for sure.

While in Tyler visiting Higher Dimension Church, we decided to have dinner at Twelve. GREAT CHOICE. Everything we had was delicious, the spinach dip, salmon, chicken, garlic seared chicken. We can not speak highly enough about Manny! Manny was very kind, attentive, hospitable and accommodating. Manny ROCKS! Can t wait to visit again.

I have been several times and ate at the bar. Bartenders not very friendly and service is slow. However that s not the worst thing I realize. Sat one day over 45 minutes and never got my order and left. Bartender could care less. Went back the other day got the same bartender and she comes back and says they are out of what I wanted. Same girl same dam attitude. I understand it s not her fault what goes on in the kitchen but her attitude is why I won t make a third mistake management needs to shake up the bar

Weve passed by this spot so many times when were in town but never had lunch here. Today we finally did and were super glad we did. The staff and manager take pride in thier cleanliness, service, food and drinks. Our waiter Manny, was Excellent and the bartender made a really good and impressive espresso martini. Food was delicious. This is our new favorite place and will stop here everytime were in town.

Our server, Allen was very professional and very attended. He lives patiently to my bad jokes and is very capable and good at what he does. He also listened very carefully when we discussed the cold calamari served on a shell shell. That was my estimation several days old and somewhat papery and not crispy. The french fries taste like they had been prepared this morning and served to us at 6 PM in the afternoon. It was not an inspiring meal. Alan did a very good job but the meals not very good.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and reasonably priced. We got 3 entrées, 2 sushi rolls and 2 appetizers for less than $100. Converted our friend that sushi isnt all raw fish and gross. We had a ton of leftovers. Everything was delicious. The tea, my husband loves it so much he had to find out what kind it was, went home and ordered some. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you.

Great ambiance. Wonderful little place in Tyler. Plenty of parking. Parking: Parking all in front and around the building. There were plenty of spots. I had the best experience at Twelve. I ate the salmon and decided to go for the mac and cheese instead of the broccoli, which was the best choice Ive ever made. It was so yummy! It was me and my fiancés first date night after moving to the area. We weren t sure where to go and she randomly chose for us to go here. WHAT AN AMAZING CHOICE!!! We shared the spinach artichoke dip. She had the carnitas sandwich and I had the aged sirloin. Everything that we had was so F@!&ing delicious! And at the end of the meal when we were so stuffed we could barely move and I look at the check I was blown away with how affordable the total was. My brother and I decided to have lunch here on Tuesday we decided to sit at the bar top. The service we received was impeccable Megan was the bartender and everything she did was stunning. she recommended the Uptown Chicken and it was like my taste buds were dedicated to waltzing around in my mouth it was delicious. She then proceeded to serve me a smoked old fashioned and the amount of perfection she put into making that drink would make me order any drink she makes. Truly a fantastic experience I must say! The atmosphere and vibe of the place was awesome. The wait staff were incredibly knowledgeable. And the food was delightfully delicious. A must come destination if your in the Tyler area. I Highly recommend! Also, Cam was my server tonight and he was incredible. His menu knowledge was superb even though at the time of my visit he had only been there for one week. First time here and could not be more impressed by the interactions by both the staff and Mgmt that continually checked on us as the brunch progressed. Their new garden fresh omelet lived up to its name and did include just the right balance of vegetables and ham. Breakfast tacos were awesome as usual. Rebecca waited on us, she was amazing waitress not to attentive but didnt leave us out to dry. Their whiskey rye flight was very nice and the classic old fashion was the best part of the night. Uptown chicken plate with mashed potatoes hit the spot. Highly recommended!

I have been too Twelve several times and always enjoy the food and experience. Tonight was exceptional. Our server Rebekah was attentive and chatty with us in the best way possible she didnt rush us and was so sweet, food and drinks were amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to have date night. The coconut roll is a new favorite and highly recommended a classic old fashioned!

A very nice Restaurant. Food was great for the most part. The Frozen Drink was very heavy on the Rum. The Mahi Mahi Alexander was excellent. The Steak was perfect. The Hamburger was supposed to be well done, no cheese, no tomato. It came medium, with tomato and cheese. The other food was great. I recommend the Carrot Cake

Food was great! We started with spinach artichoke dip. They serve this with a side of chunky salsa and tortilla chips. Never would I have mixed the 2 on a tortilla chip ...but we tried it ..and we liked it!!!There are also a few slices of pita bread, for those not brave enough to mix the two diverse dips. But that may just depend on what you like. For the meal, my husband had a carnitas sandwich. Best one I have tasted...outside of his cooking! The only negative was the sauce. They were going for smokey flavor, and tasted like they used too much liquid smoke flavoring. I had the Thai steak and noodle salad. The steak was med rare..cooked perfect. It was served cold on the salad, I would have preferred hot. The salad had the right amount of spiciness with peanut wasabi dressing. And yes, I ate the whole thing. This will be my staple meal when we go again .

We went for a Saturday brunch. They were pretty busy so we sat at the bar. I always like the food at twelve & loved it today as well. Today was made extra special by our bartender, Daisy. She was so personable & just a joy to be around. She seemed to really enjoy her job and WANT to be there, which I find rare these days.. I ve always liked twelve but for some reason we don t go often. We will definitely be visiting more & hope Daisy is there to take care of us!

The most communist restaurant experience ever. (And I have been to China) I ate here on March 13th 2024 and the food was actually good. The older lady serving me did OK so far and gave me the check. I was ready to tip her well. But I told her I would like a drink at the bar and asked her if she wanted me to pay now and the drink separately. (It is called kitchen + cocktails for a reason, right? NOT...) The server changed her attitude and said I already drank 2 glasses of wine. They had cameras to check on everybodies drinking behavior and she started warning me that I could not just go ahead to the bar and think that my 2 wines would be forgotten. They kept real time drink monitoring on everybody and waitresses would get fired if I drank too much. I asked here where that rant suddenly came from? I just wanted a drink at their cocktail bar. I explained her she didnt need to worry about me drinking too much, because I would never be coming to Twelve again. Ive felt more freedom in any of the restaurants I visited in China.

Mediocre all around, especially when I was expecting a much more refined and established restaurant as Twelve likes to present itself as on the outside and inside. I ate with my family so we ordered the coconut shrimp sushi roll as an appetizer, this was the actual only dish I was somewhat a fan. I personally ordered the Mahi Mahi Alexander dish expecting a much more tasteful and seafood oriented plate, and while it comes as a ok sized mahi filet mixed with shrimp, crawfish, and crab fingers (tiny though) it also comes with broccoli for some apparent reason and a cheese like sauce so in the end it really just tasted like I was eating a Broccoli & Cheese Sauce Green Giant packet which I wouldve preferred due to the cost difference, but anyways, it was extremely underwhelming, personally I recommend making your own mahi mahi dish if you desire it and actually want to be able to taste the fish (trust me). My father ordered the Gulf Shrimp dish and it tasted barely better than anything you could get from Long John Silvers and the shrimp were exceptionally small. Past the food now, the service was also mediocre at best, took almost 15 mins to be asked about a drink after being sat and also side note, weird tasting water, so if youre a primary water drinker, maybe think about something else. And finally the setting, Twelve tries to present itself as a 5 star-restaurant when its really a 3 at best, and thats being generous, please pick somewhere else if you want to spend over 50 bucks, this is not worth it.

My first and probably the last time I ll ever come here. Food wasn t really all that good. I ordered a burger. Meat was semi burnt even though I had asked for a medium well. The fried pickles in it were hard and nasty. I had a side of mac n cheese - I found 3 bacon bits in it. ( I don t eat pork!!!!) Our waitress forgot to give us more napkins and silverware. Overall the experience was not great. Oh! Also $8 and something change for a side of queso?! The fries it self were $5!!!! Ridiculous!

Twelve continues to impress. We really like the carnitas sandwich, meatballs appetizer, thai noodle salad, and items from the brunch menu. They also have a great smoked old fashion as well. There is plenty of parking and seating, but it does get crowded, so we try not to go during the busy hours. Overall, this is a great restaurant.

Twelve is the place to go in Tyler for a nice but affordable meal. The spinach artichoke dip is good, I love their Mahi Alexander, and the the cocktail menu is unbeat in Tyler. It gets busy most nights and even more so on the weekend, but I love it for lunch.

LOVED this place. I sat at the bar, there was only 1 bar tender but she did a great job multitasking and serving everyone at the bar. I ordered 2 dishes, the Spicy Chicken Bites and the Asiago Chicken Pasta. Both dishes were excellent. The guy next to me ordered a smoked old fashioned and it was fun to watch her make it. If you ve never been and are in town, this is definitely a great choice to eat

Had the garlic chicken, substituted for asparagus over broccoli. Food was exquisite and delivered promptly with a wonderful presentation. Daisy behind the bar hand crafted the days drink special called the Starburst. When my delicious red drink arrived I quickly took notice why everyone else in the bar had one. First impression is everything, so being a first time diner at TWELVE, I was very impressed with the atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming. We arrived around 1:25-1:30pm, we were seated and then came the wait. We sat for about 10-15 mins before the waitress showed up, may I add, we had a party of 5. She (Ava) came, took our drink orders and disappeared for another 15 minutes. Now let me just add, we arrived in plenty of time to order brunch, but once the waitress finally showed up with the drinks, it was 2:08. She asked were we ready to order, YES?! Not knowing there was a time frame for the brunch (ending at 2:00pm), I proceed to order the chicken and waffles and she stated, brunch is over. And she failed to honor the fact that we were here in plenty of time, she was the issue. And I ll add, there weren t many people in the restaurant and we were the only table in here section! Bummed, I had to change my order at the last minute, so I decided to go with the Salmon and steamed broccoli. The salmon was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the rest of my party stayed that their food was just as amazing. Here comes the biggest issue, she charged the WRONG TICKET on my card, which had to be voided and won t return to my account for 3-5 business days At this point, I m over this whole experience! But, I won t let this one bad experience stop me from dining here again. I was pleased with everything except the waitress, so, I will be back. (Saturday, March 23, 2024) Parking: Free parking, large parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, plus a kids menu.

Sat in here being the only black couple in a non crowded restaurant, when I say non crowded I mean barely 2-3 couples/tables taken in the restaurant. I came in thinking I would just grab a quick drink and a bite and go home and I ended up staying the whole afternoon. The chimichurri roll I ate was cooked and rolled to perfection, from the tender but crunchy shrimp center to the melt in your mouth tenderloin on top; though, it was the bartender Daisy, that really made the experience for me she didn t just take my drink order and mix it up but asked me specifically what I like and offered ideas of personally crafted, off menu drinks that fit my liking, and absolutely blew me away with her execution and customer service. Daisy didn t just make me feel as though I was just a customer to the business but an individual she seamed pleased to share her art and time with . All in all, the time in this restaurant from sustenance to libation is nothing if not among the best in the area. You would be hurting only yourself to not come in and make your own opinion.
