Amazing steak, superb food and excellent service. This rivals any of the high end steakhouses Ive had in the Houston area, and frankly it even exceeds most of them. This place is a gem in Tyler. Wish they offered complementary bread and butter like most high end restaurants, but thats not deal breaker.

We didnt know it was brunch at 2 pm, but the kitchen said they would make us whatever we wanted from the dinner menu. So we started with the crab cakes...AMAZING. Next, we had steak and Macadamian Mahi mahi. Both were also AMAZING. we got cheesecake to go and it was so good. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back to try more amazing food.

Visited yesterday for my birthday after a few recommendations and I was throughly pleased! It s a beautiful restaurant with sweet and attentive staff; our waitress Taylor was awesome. Three of my party ordered the 8oz filet which was cooked perfectly. I had the baked potato as my side and it was nice as well. I tried the brussel sprouts (which I don t normally go for) and they were actually pretty tasty! And last but not least, the CAKE! It was perfect. The special wedding cake ice cream that comes on the side was a huge hit with all of us. It s the best ice cream we ve ever had. Overall, I would highly recommend III Palms and I plan to be back soon!

Had a wonderful brunch date dining here. Tried the charcuterie pancakes, the seared salmon, and grilled chicken. Fantastic presentation and well seasoned. Additionally, we had the Barbie martini and an espresso martini. Both were delicious, and the presentation for the Barbie drink was a fun treat. The ambience is wonderful, as well. The lighting is warm, but not too dim, and the interior compliments itself well. Will come back here again for dinner.

This place is trying to be one of the best restaurants in Tyler, but is not succeeding. Things started badly when they gave one of us a brunch menu, and went downhill from there. One martini glass had a chip on the rim, which could have caused a cut. The lobster/mac had hardly any lobster. The fish that was supposed to have crab and shrimp had hardly any. A steak was over cooked, and the assistant manager said another one would be right out. It took a long time to bring a properly cooked one. It was definitely not worth their high prices. The waitress was good however.

Booked reservations at this restaurant for 7:30. They were not ready to seat us until 8:00. Because our table was 3ft from the bar, we decided to stay at the bar. The bartenders were excellent, however I sat for awhile with an empty drink 2x. We had a confidential, margarita, and a Barbie martini. All drinks were well made and unique. I ordered a filet cooked medium. When I received my steak, the outside was thickly charred and well done all the way through. I never, NEVER send food back but this was so bad I had to, especially for the price I was paying for the meal. The second steak I received was also thickly charred and rare on the inside. For this to be a speciality steak restaurant, I expected to be blown away instead I felt a whisper. The asparagus, potato puree, and lobster mac were flavorful and really good though. Very small, lackluster dessert menu (multi layer white cake, bananas foster, cheesecake with blueberries.) We spent $200 here for 2 people and I will choose to spend $200 elsewhere next time.

For the price of this place it is not good, our waitress was borderline rude, wouldn t refill drinks for a while, and didn t clear any plates between courses. The food was alright, however, the steak was cut with the grain going all kinds of ways making it impossible to cut with very very burnt edges on a medium cooked steak. You can just tell this place was put up quickly to try to make as much money as possible for as cheap as possible. If you want a nice dinner go to culture if you re in tyler! :)

We truly enjoyed our visit to III Palms and will be back. All the food and drinks were good and the server was attentive. Expect to drop a decent amount of money on the bill here. We had the dip duo, which was cold cheese dip and chips, for an appetizer and we enjoyed it. The waitress described it as a cold queso , but I would say it s like pimento cheese. I would order it again. My steak was cooked perfect and the sides are family style. My husband had the creamy peppercorn sauce on the side for his steak and it was a delightful gravy. I would definitely recommend the creamed corn as a side, but the lobster mac wasn t as creamy as we expected. Maybe it was just an off night for the macaroni. If you get the celebration cake for dessert you should know a few things. It comes out with two full size sparklers on top, it s whipped icing (disappointing to me), one order is enough for a table of 6 or so, and the ice cream on the side is delicious. The Barbie will be my go to drink at this restaurant but both of the drinks I tried were good. Definitely a great spot for a date night or dinner and cocktails with adult friends. Happy this restaurant in South Tyler. Complimentary valet parking is offered.

We went about 10 days ago and had Salmon and a Caesar salad - it was stellar. Went with another couple tonight and had Steak Fritte and Salmon. The steak was awful- 3 of the medallions were gristle and the rest were actual meat. The cooks in the back should have caught that - not sure what cut the meat was - it was cheap for sure - why spend the money to build a beautiful restaurant and serve crappy cuts of meat and why would the cook send the gristle out when they sliced it - I say cook because a chef would not do this to clients - I am back to Bernard s full time now - this is disappointing because the place is beautiful! May try it again but have had other Tyler people mention the mediocrity. Step it up or you will have wasted your investment money. REVISION TO PREVIOUS REVIEW One month later - we went back and sat at the bar. We thought they can t continue to be bad and stay in business. The food and drinks were great. The som was helpful and the bar staff were very attentive. The food quality is back to what we had on our first trip. We are fans again!

We checked this new spot out, and we did like it. I would recommend the Palms chicken, lobster mac n cheese, and creamed corn so far. The only reason Im giving this spot 4 stars for the food right now is because the pork chop had so much salt that my eyes almost went cross-eyed! I had to scrap it off. It was a lot. If you do decide to try it, then maybe just ask for light salt. The cocktails were really good. I actually recommend the blue & gold martini, berries & bourbon, and the smoked old fashioned so far. The blue & gold martini has a couple of blue cheese stuffed olives, so if you like a little blue cheese, then try it. My wife does not care for blue cheese, and she even thought it was pretty good. The fried green tomatoes are decent, and I really like how that put crab on top of them. However, they should actually be called fried red tomatoes. That creamed corn is ridiculously . Overall, I would recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back. Our server did a great job, and the food came out in a timely manner. I am interested to see how the outside patio area will turn out.

My wife and I had anniversary reservations. We were created with a smile and happy anniversary from the staff. Had a menu dedicated to our special night and a bouquet of flowers on the table. It was absolutely fantastic. Then it all went south. We ordered a cocktail and it was to say the least less than satisfying. No big deal but then we ordered dinner. My wife had a chicken pasta dish and steak and potatoes for me. Mine came out 1st. 10 minutes later my wifes pasta dish showed up. My steak was cold her chicken was so dry she had to wash it down with water. Thats because we havent seen our waitress since our drink order was taken. So to say the least we were less than impressed.

Went here for my birthday and it was nice. They had my name on my menu! I only gave 4 stars because its not a kid friendly place, which I was not aware of beforehand. There is no kids menu. My 12 yr old is extremely picky so we had to improvise. Also, we were not a fan of the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Not cheesy enough and was actually kinda bland. Got the dip duo and it was not that great either. The guacamole was basically just mashed avocado. No onions in it and also bland. The cold cheese dip was just okay. Everything else was good, no complaints. FYI, if you order an extra side, it will be A LOT. Not an average side, but enough to share with the table. Wish I wouldve known that before, probably couldve saved some money. Will definitely be back for an adult date night with the hubby. Parking: Free valet available, but we parked ourselves. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. No kids menu

Finally able to try III Palms and it was a great experience. Its decorated beautifully and loved the piano playing. Our server was a little shy but very attentive and even wrote a sweet thank you/Happy Anniversary note at the end of our meal. The salads are massive so maybe share one if its a pre-dinner salad, but both salads we got were so good. Entrees we ordered (sea bass and short ribs) were delicious and would definitely order again. Overall a 10/10 experience and we will be back.

We made reservations for the fancy place and they tried to sit us at the bar when we got there. Our food took over an hour to come out and we only got one tea the whole time we were there. We split their biggest steak between four of us and they never brought us dinner sized plates so we had to eat the 100 dollar steak off the small appetizer plates. The steak was rare or medium rare after we ordered medium and all the sides were noticeably cold. We watched several people get their steak bones in nice bags that were fitting for the fancy establishment but when we asked for our bone they gave it to us wrapped in tinfoil as seen in the picture attached. The steak was good the sides sucked and the service was absolutely terrible.

Tonight was my wifes birthday. She wanted to try III Palms. She made reservations for tonight for 7:00. When we arrived, we were placed in the seating area that was located in the bar. This started off with me not being too impressed since we had reservations. After a few minutes of sitting there, Sarah came by and asked how we were doing. I explained that we had reservations and I was not expecting to be seated at the bar. Within 5 to 10 minutes, Sarah had a solution. She was watching tables as they were leaving, and as one was available, Sarah moved us to a nice table. This made me feel much better! We then begin to order our food, from our waitress Elizabeth. Elizabeth was an exceptional waitress. She answered all of our questions and was very courteous and attentive to what we were wanting to eat. My wife had the Steak Frites and I had the 14 oz Ribeye. We both got a wedge salad, and with my ribeye, I had a baked potato. My wife kept commenting during the meal that this was the best steak that she had ever had! I can agree that the ribeye was cooked to perfection and was excellent! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service, Elizabeth, was excellent. I cant express enough gratitude to Sarah for careing enough for our dining experience to seat us in a very nice place. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are wanting fine dining at its best!

Idk if you offer free valet parking, if you do you should advertise it. I m tired of going to the gym next door to be met with no parking spots while your whole parking lot is coned off for your valet. Food was like a 4 stars but how you conduct your business 0 stars. Won t be going back just from the sheer fact of how you treat you neighboring small businesses. To solve this parking problem advertise free valet, park in your own spots. What I m going to do until you fix this problem, is all of my gym friends and I are going to park in the back of your lot until your tired of it and fill your parking lot before taking parking from other businesses.

The atmosphere and the environment was nice and the server was good. The food was not worth it. We started off with the $12 pork belly appetizer. We got 4 tiny strips of pork belly (2-3 inches long each), and 2 of them were burnt. We didnt think it was worth it. For entrees, my wife ordered the seared salmon w/beurre blanc and I ordered the Palms Chicken. They put the beurre blanc on my chicken and nothing on her salmon. The chicken and the salmon were both dry and overcooked. The risotto wasnt creamy and had very little taste. Even the asparagus was subpar. The three berry cheesecake was pretty good, though. I can go to other places and spend similar amount of money for a much better food experience.

It s one of those places that does not have salt and pepper on a table, but you wish they did. The lll palms Chicken was in extremely small portion size. However, the chicken linguine was a very good portion size. Again, the place is beautiful. The service is on point but the food that we ordered was below par.

I love the whole vibe of the place, its a beautiful restaurant. The ribeye was absolutely delicious as were the crab cakes. The draggo oysters are bacony goodness. Im huge fan of French 75s and Martinis; the espresso tini and French 75 are done so well but man that Blue&Gold martini is something special. I normally tweek my martinis vodka, dirtiness, amount of olives etc., but the Blue&Gold is served up perfectly on every level.

The salad was good, but the steak was awful. The service was also good. But I would not go back a $50 stack should taste extremely good. This tasted like plastic.

My first time to dine in at this facility. The food was exceptional in taste, our waitress, TTaylor, gave 5 star service for our group, the atmosphere was very pleasant and last but not least the Mgr, Sarah, would be one I would work under if that was what I did. We will be visiting again.

Tyler desperately needs more upscale dining options and so the excitement for III Palms has been justified. Our Party of 4 at III Palms went in with high expectations & left with mixed feelings. The decor and ambiance are outstanding. Service & food still under review. Heres why: our waiter brought the wrong drink for one, a dozen Oysters instead of 6. To his credit, he kindly comped the drink & charged for 6 oysters. Once dinner came, he never stopped by once to ask how our food was, nor did we see a manager checki g on tables. III Palms charges appropriately high prices for their entrees, but the 2 steaks at our table were a huge disappointment: a $55 Prime strip steak, medium rare, was maybe 1/2 thick and medium. The $39 Porterhouse , medium rare, was also 1/2 thick and medium. This shouldnt happen at a high-end steak house with Wagyu & Prime meat. The 2 sea bass entrees were perfectly delicious, moist served with risotto & vegetable. Caesar salads were delicious and bountiful. Bananas Foster dessert was also delicious. So mixed reviews for this new & promising restaurant. Our total bill, drinks wine, salads & entrees for 4 was $360 before tip. We will give III Palms time to sort out a few things and then try again.

My family and I visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration! The food, service and atmosphere were beyond exceptional! The birthday girl was gifted with a bouquet of flowers from the owner and given her own personal menu with her name and happy birthday written on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Wasnt super impressed with this place. Service was okay.. Cooking was very inconsistent. Ordered a medium steak. Got one well done and one rare. Some sides were hot. Some were cold. Salmon was dry, seabass was good but the sides came out cold. Highly recommend the owners get with the chef to get the kitchen in order.

Let me just say, I have never given a bad review or left a restaurant before dining. Not until this past Monday on my 60th birthday. My wife and I were excited about a new fine dining restaurant in Tyler. When we arrived, with a reservation, I may add, there were a few walk-ins waiting. We were escorted to the lively bar area where we waited for eternity for the hostess to tell some guests standing at a table that it was actually a reserved table. Someone wiped the table and refolded the napkins that were already on the table where the people hanging out had been. We sat and were told it was a special table, just for us The area was so noisy, we couldnt hear each other talk. This, for a stated milestone birthday when the reservation was made. When we returned to the hostess stand to ask for a main dining room table, we were told they were fully booked. Yet, they were seating walk-ins in the main dining area. When we asked why that was, we were told to just stop already, Im looking for something. Excuse me. Nope. We left for a nice experience at Dakotas and have no intention to return.

We tried III Palms last week on an evening weekday. A few things we observed. My wife and I would love to go to a local restaurant that has some sort of dress code. It s hard to visit a place where the menu has a $100 + Tomahawk steak and watch people come in to dine in truck driver caps and jogging shorts. A place that touts itself as fine dining should rethink those policies rural East Texas or not. We had a drinking glass that had lipstick stains on it, so the manager gave us a free appetizer and apologized profusely. New dishwasher? I had the pork chop and it was amazingly moist and juicy wonderful flavor. My wife had the salmon and it was a bit over cooked. The asparagus for us both was inconsistent in its cook and texture. Overall we liked III Palms and will most likely return. We did think it odd for a nicer restaurant to bring a paper bill torn right off the cash register no nice leatherette folder or other clever holder for the tab a little lazy. (Perhaps they re waiting for a monogrammed batch from their supplier.)

Only 4 stars for service because they are still learning. Food was amazing. Seafood tower was fresh and yummy. Sea bass was delicious. Loved having mocktails to choose from. Ambiance was perfext for our little reunion. Next time we will try a dessert as well. Vegetarian options: Several side dishes were hood vegetarian options. Parking: Their own lot is limited. Availability of neighboring lots in the evenings only. Kid-friendliness: A bit fancy for small children. A good place for well behaved older children to learn about dining out. Wheelchair accessibility: Although there are no stairs to maneuver, the dining room is pretty tight.

Fantastic experience and food!!! We went on one of the soft opening nights and it could not have been better. I had the Wagyu ribeye and my wife had Mahi Mahi. We also had two appetizers and salad which were all great. Needless to say, with that much food, we could not eat it all and enjoyed it again the next day. I highly recommend this brand new restaurant which is a gem for Tyler.
