Of course Buccees is always an adventure. Today a little more so when a customer near me began having a medical issue I want to compliment the team that assisted. That blocked off the area and for each and every team member there who were attentive and helpful and supportive during this time and ensured the utmost respect and privacy was able to be provided to this customer. Thank you for communicating and also calling for the ambulance when it was evident the customer could not manage without further medical support I m a nurse just traveling through / happened to be in the right place at the right time, but all of your help was greatly appreciated and should not go unacknowledged.

Wow, talk about all the things in one place! Im sure youve heard it all, but theres something about seeing it for yourself. I may have sampled the fudge, bought a new bag, and even a beaver slap bracelet! They do charge for a cup of ice unlike the Wawa. Other than that, it was a fun stop!

Delicious snacks and always open. The bakery is absolutely superb and on point. The blueberry scones are delightfully flavorful but as far as I ve seen almost all the food here is that way. The peach muffins are fluffy and bursting with gentle flavors. They also have whimsical items for sale that may make you chuckle and think of gifts for loved ones as well.

This place has a it all. We spend about an hour here every time we stop. So many amazing souvenirs. Great food. Clean bathrooms. It s a great place to take a break & stretch your legs. You will always find something to buy! We stop every chance we get.

So, stopped here for beef jerkey supply but because we were in a bobtail the manager Jackie refused us service. Keep in mind there was a day cab with a loaded trailer delivering and several loaded box trucks on the lot getting fuel or just hanging out. I explained I just needed to get beef jerky and she said, if you go inside, you will not be able to buy anything. This is so over the top with hatred to truckers. If we were in an rv pulling a tow dolly or big ole bus we would have been welcomed. Truckers supply their stores, bring their fuel, we are the reason they are able to run a business. Never in the past has Buc-ees treated us so poorly and we usually drop a few hundred $ each time we stop. This is no longer a Texas brand and Im saddened by that. -10 stars for the new Buc-ees brand and its staff.

Wow!wow! What a place. These guys have it figured out. A well oiled machine where the employees go about doing there jobs to the best of their abilities. Never seen any of them idling. Gas is cheap and so is everything else in here. Always packed and is a must visit if you or driving from Dallas to Austin or in the opposite direction. Try out the different flavors of beef jerky, freshly made bbq sandwiches and burritos. The roasted nuts are delicious.

We try to stop at Buc-ees whenever we can in our travels because we know we can depend on consistent quality. My dog appreciates the large areas to walk with many pet waste stations. The bathrooms for people are clean. The food selection is outstanding.

I love buc-ees, a very complete station with all the services, bathroom, clothing store, souvenirs, souvenirs from the store with its characteristic beaver mascot of the brand, drinks, food and in this one I have to highlight the bbk meat pies They are the best, it is a hamburger bun with Texan-style meat filling, the best of the best and gasoline service with ample parking and multiple pumps for dispatch, it includes Tesla stations, a very complete service, I will arrive a thousand times

Car wash beware. Love bucees but tried car wash and it broke two valve stems on drivers side leaving me with two flat tires. Filled out a damage form but stranded and no help from car wash management. Wouldn t even offer a free water or anything. Just fix it yourself and call us later. Car wash Completely ruined our day and broke my car.

Great place for restrooms, gas and BBQ Sandwiches. DO NOT waste your money on the breakfast Tacos. They are runny pre-digested sewer chum wrapped in a tortilla disguised at a Breakfast Taco. if you have teeth and actually do chew your food, these are not for you. Now if you have no teeth and prefer to drink you tacos through a straw, then I might suggest the Hippo Taco or perhaps even the simple Brisket and Egg. Happy Travels.

Like all the Bucee s , plenty of restrooms and always clean. Plenty of fuel pumps and electric chargers. Got to watch out for people that are not paying attention to the traffic. Hate it when people just park at the pump and not fill up their vehicle then move to the parking area. Granted there s a lot of pump. If you park in front of the pump, that s one less being used. Like all Bucee s, the restroom are nice and clean. There are times the line to the restroom can get very long. If you re going south, use the west exit and then make a u turn. Only have to worry about traffic from one direction. If you have no choice to use the north exit, got to watch out for traffic on the left and right.

I just tried the new car wash. It did really well compared to the others around town. Let me tell you about the vacuum though! Its by far the strongest Ive ever experienced. It made short work of both the front and back floor boards. Ill definitely be back.

I have an emotional support animal that I have always taken into buc-ee s and today I was told I couldn t take her in with me. I have really bad anxiety and get very nervous around crowds of people. A place like this is where I really need her. I love coming to buc-ee s and always spend money here but I m seriously thinking I won t be back. A service animal is a service animal emotional or otherwise. She does not go near the food. I ve even taken her into a buffet before just couldn t take her up to the food. I m very disappointed how you treat people that come into your store.

I only have one thing against this buc-ees. An employee by the name of Trionne Ae just made my whole experience memorable for all the wrong reasons. From lack of basic sanitary health to an attitude so crass and rude its seldom seen in the service industry. Buc-ees I am very disgusted by how people in your store treat someone walking in with a service animal. Do you not teach them that under no circumstances can they per ADA ask what the person s disability is? And when a person refuses to state their disability be told you are going to contact police! There are only 2 questions that can be asked according to ADA guidelines when a disability is not obvious 1) is the dog a service animal 2) what service or task are they trained to perform (and they can not require it to be demonstrated) and they can not request documentation of it!!! Just an FYI that s what gets you reported to the Justice department and consultations with attorneys for violating a persons rights. I will never be back to your store!!!

The absolute best place to take a poop if you re on the road and can t make it home. The rest rooms are always clean. While there if you are a beef jerky lover well then you can t leave with out trying theirs because they are delicious. Stop by the candy section while you are at it, you won t regrets it. Came all the way from Europe just to see Buc-ees in its full glory. Defintively an experience. Huge gas station with lots of gas islands and a large convenient store. Hot food, cold drink and the wide selection of the snacks are available. I liked the pulled pork BBQ sandwiches and the ICEE having various flavors. The lid of the ICEE was out of stock though, when I visited. The restrooms are big and clean. There were usually 2-3 team members working hard to keep the restroom. It s Sunday afternoon; there was a long line to the women restroom.

Big fance store with just about everything, except very limited milk choices like nobody likes chocolate milk, not a spot on shelf special for large single chocolate milk, i am sorry we still in Texas, but always has large regular single, most texas fuel station stores always have hardly never run out, have just the opposite single large choclate milk, and always out of single large regular milk. If buccee was awesome they would copy HEB milk flavors with large chocolate or strawberry, and nesque large flavor with cereal flavors plus strawberry and chocolate.

Need better system at their gas pump and parking lot. Pretty much a lawless place. I suggest painting some lines on ground and installing stop signs. Stopped for gas early Sunday morning on my way back to Detroit, used my Debit card at the pump for $26 of gas, that went through, but then an additional $125 was submitted for a hold, basically my gas money for the trip home. Customer service number is a recording to go to the website, no person to talk to, website has you fill a form, no response from that either. Went into the store, cashier tried to say it was my bank, which I work for a bank so I know its not, wouldnt get a manager. So over 24 hours later they still have a hold on my funds. Just horrible all the way around

I am sad to leave this review because I KNOW this is not the Buccees way! Hoping the feedback will help bring back to the high standards Buccees has set! Buccees Temple, Texas was a huge disapointment. Please know I LOVE BUCCEES! I am a frequent shopper! I went to three restrooms before I found one that was half way decent. The first two were clogged and filthy. The third one was not clogged but toilet paper all over the floor. Tried two paper towel holders before one dispensed paper. Not the Buccees we love! Yes there were two attendants in the bathroom cleaning, not sure why it was such a mess.

LOVE ME SOME BUCCEES! Ive been to Buccees many times, but this visit was the best!! I visited Friday, June 7th. Just about all the decor and regular items I would get at the grocery store are the same price here! The beach bum poo pourri smells wondeful! It has a lovely coconut scent! Not too strong! The wax melts my mom got smell nice, but are strong! The scent my mom got in particular smells like Kirklands! And many years, I finally tried the BEAVER NUGGETS! They have a Carmel popcorn flavor along with a strong taste of toasted marshmallow! If thats your thing, then youll love the beaver nuggets. They were just way too sugary for me! And for $5, its just not worth it. I also tried the sugared pecans and they were amazing! And I dont like pecans that much either! The pecans tasted like a nice autumn treat! They also made the store smell like fall and vanilla! I just wish the pecans were a bigger size, with them being $5. I also want to mention, when I was a teen, I would always get the sour rope candy bags from here! They were so good! I didnt see them this visit, but I hopefully they are still being sold! I also purchased a freshie on my trip here as well! The freshie is super cute, but the smell only lasted for about 2 days, and it wasnt very strong either. My guess is that the freshie mightve been in the store too long or there wasnt enough fragrance used. I use freshies a lot, so I know the dos and donts. The freshie just didnt last, unfortunately. And just to mention, there were only about 4-5 different scents. Most of the scents werent the best smelling. Overall, Ive always loced visiting! We also got a Buccee toy for my little boy, Fionn! He loves his Buccee! I cant wait to bring him so he can take pictures with Buccee! - I also want to thank a young lady who works at Buccees! She was so sweet to my mom and I! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I cant remember her name, but she told me that 2 or 3 of her siblings also worked with her at Buccees. Anyways, shes super sweet and awesome! There was another employee who was also very kind. Dont remember her name either, but I belive she said that she used to do nursing. Both ladies were amazing to speak to! I always tend to stop at this bucees location when passing through Temple. Gas is always a bit cheaper here and it always gives a good feeling when seeing all the travelers here. I was happy that there was a designated area for dogs to take care of their business, but I really feel this should be behind the building and not by the access road to the interstate!!

Just had the worst experience, after a long day and finally getting to go home and drive by this Buckys I had an altercation With what seemed to be the general manager sadly. I m assuming this since he had a white button up and the associate cleared the return policy with him before going through with the return I almost never return any type of merchandise. I stay so busy and worry so little about the price equivalent of returning something that you bought. However, this item had drawstrings that could not be adjusted because they were sewn in at the back going either direction to come out of the front. This made it impossible to make a note on my swim trunks. It may not seem like that big of a deal, but it was enough to annoy me on something that I was genuinely excited about purchasing. I feel like a lot of what I just said as a relevant. The main issue is that Buckys clearly does not have the standard of customer appreciation and maybe this manager was tired after a long day but I think it speaks volumes when it was over a $20 item , that very much could ve been replaced. That is all. Ran over hope this helps some of you in the future.

Got to say we absolutely love Buccee s It is an ingrained part of our travels.. Been to every Buccees in the US. Not impressed with the no kolaches after 11 am..Horrible idea!!I am hoping it s temporary.. We drive 40 min north twice a week just to buy them and can t make it before 11am.. My in laws drove 3 hrs for Kolaches in Colorado the day they opened..and where so so disappointed. I think whoever thought this was a good idea isn t a Texan.. I have visited BUC-EE S in Temple often. I visited the store on 5-23-24 at around 8:00 pm. I wanted some peanut butter fudge. The young lady serving the fudge was really rude not just to me but the gentleman in front and behind me. She became impatient as people requested samples of the fudge before making a purchase. I spoke to the manager and I was served what I requested at that time. This has been my first bad experience at this store. Everyone should just try to be nice especially when they are working at an establishment.

May 2024 The first thing I saw walking in was the July 4th Buc-ee plush doll. It was a must get item along with food and drinks. Buc-ees Temple has become a staple rest stop when we travel from Austin. The Buc-ee statue in front is different from others where had color to it. The restrooms are always very clean and attentive by staff. This location has all you need for a Buc-ees and expanding to include a car wash. It always busy but still able to gas up my vehicle and shop pretty quickly. Right now have Summer items out so lots to look at.

Purchased gas and came into the store with my service dog who has his vest on; was in a hurry to use the restroom. Manager named Alyssa (?) stopped me at the door and said they don t allow pets in the store. I informed her he is a service dog and she repeated her ignorant pets statement, I didn t want a confrontation. She was very rude, so I turned and left. Do better, Buccees.

A lot of greatness happening here, but cell service is so bad you cant text or call. Its like being in a 3rd world country or Mississippi. Id rather go somewhere convenient that maybe has WiFi to fallback on. I wish they would use their huge revenue and political clout to get mobile carrier tower/s nearby or get a femtocell on their property.

Had a long wait for a gas pump to open up. Too many cars were left unattended because people went inside to shop. No attendants were outside to keep cars moving. Its a gas pump not a parking spot!

Pumps for days and everything you could possibly need and more from a gas station inside. Even on a busy day you can get what you need quickly or look around without running into people. Prices are reasonable. Bathrooms are very clean. They also have a ton of Tesla charging stations. You can t go wrong with this location.

I dont like leaving bad reviews but Im going to for some reason the credit card machine went down needless to say I had to go to the ATM and withdraw cash so that I can pay for my $50 worth of merchandise it cost me $3 so that I can buy merchandise you would have thought that they would give me some kind of discount for waiting for two lines and then having to go wait in another line just so I can pay for my items and I can tell that this happens all the time because not just my cashiers but the other ones standing there were irritable about it too its ridiculous. I even made the comment that it cost me $3 just so I can pay for their problem you could have offered me a $3 discount

Stopped quick for gas and snacks before a 7 hour drive. Topped off my hydro with, literally, an inch of water and was charged $1.19 for that. Bought $60 in gas and $40 in food and snacks and was charged to top off my water bottle!? We bought two bottles of water for .99 each. Seriously!? Thanks Buc-ee! Stopped at MANY stations on our 2400 mile road trip. This was the ONLY one to charge to fill a water bottle.

I buy all my fine art from a gas station If youre willing to tangle with the zoo its become, okay. I stopped for gas RR on way to Greens in zabcikville. Slept for night on this piece from George Jones, had to have. Bucees is an experience, but there are other places.

Not impressed - lol g wait to even get into parking lot and then even longer wait to get into gas pump space. Very rude customers due to very heavy volume. Another wait (about 50 people) to get into restroom although line went fast. Urine on the toilet - not clean and no seat liners like the airports (I thought due to the large numbers of people they might have them). Then cold water to wash hands. I will never stop at another. Couldnt wait to get out of there. Just as busy as a crowded airport that you cant wait to leave.

A huge huge gas station with I think over a hundred gas pumps, charging stations and a huge store. We stopped here on the way to Austin on a weekday and it was Crowded! More crowded then a Costco on a weekend, but they have clean restrooms, many types of sandwiches and every snack you can think of.

This place is amazing! Ten million gas pumps and Tesla superchargers. Inside is like its own mall. Los of food, sweets, jerkies, souvenirs, and drinks. Bathrooms are immaculate and each stall has its own soap for the seats and sanitizer. I felt like I was in another country using the bathroom, I ve been looking for that here in here US Seriously, I will keep coming to this place ever chance I get when I m around the area.

I live very close to this bucees and visit frequently because I love how clean it is and organized. I went in yesterday and the bathroom was gross all the trash cans were over flowing. Trash on the floor around the toilets and sinks. The cashiers who usually are attentive were standing around twirling their hair having a conversation and didn t bother to stop when I was trying to pay for gas. I used to work for a gas station so I know things can get busy but 6 cashiers standing there doing nothing while guest are trying to check out is insane! I go here because cefco and 7/11 have gone down hill just sucks to see a nice gas station go down hill.

My wife and I who are both Veterans traveling on Motorcycle stopped by there with our 5 lb Yorkie which is registered as an Emotional Support animal and was wearing his vest and gear were asked to leave because the dog which was contained. In a carrier was not allowed to be in there by a floor greeter, I showed him is equipment and said Buc eye s does not recognize emotional support as a service animal My wife is going through a tough time and is trying to get him as service dog. He s always been welcomed at all other bucees. It was shameful and emotional for my wife when they told us to leave as two veterans.

I dont even understand how this place could get fewer than five stars. It is so mind blowing and fantastic. The prepared food, excellent. Beef jerky bar, excellent. Bakery, excellent. Packaged food selection, excellent. Number of gas pumps, excellent. This place is ridiculous in the best way possible. I got a chopped brisket sandwich and it was delicious. The perfect amount of sauce and fattiness. Mmm! The dark chocolate caramel sea salt fudge was amazing and I dont even like fudge!

Esko at the Temple Buc-ees provided outstanding customer service at checkout. Greeted my family and I upon entrance into the store. Pleasant conversion (with eye contact) as he quickly rang up our food and beverage items. He also took additional steps to twist and secure the top of the bag to our tater tots to prevent spillage into our grocery bag. As a person in the hospitality industry, this is the exact behavior that elevates the customer experience. If he is not currently a trainer, he should be. Stopped in for 2 cinnamon rolls and other travel goodies. We ordered and we were charged for 2 cinnamon rolls..however after we started on the road and began passing out the food. In addition to the Tesla chargers, there are 6 Mercedes fast chargers that worked great for my Ford Mach E (point being: other brands can get full access here). They are located in the Northeast corner of the parking lot. If you have a tap credit card you don t need to download an app to use these chargers. By the time I let the dogs out, and got a snack we were ready to get back on the road.

Its your typical Buc-ees. Large convenience store with a huge selection of things to eat and drink as well as souvenir, clothes, and home furnishings to buy. This one was particularly busy even for Buc-ees standards when I visited, but the staff there were making sure everything ran quickly and smoothly. My only complaint is to wonder why there is so much space between the rows of parking? Buc-ee parking lots fill up fast, and I just feel they could have used the space better to give the parking lot a higher capacity.
