Perfectly nice little park with a small fishing pond and great access to the Spring Creek path. Plenty of parking and it seems very safe as the constable has parking here as well. We enjoyed the greenway and this is a good jumping off point.

Safe, patrolled asphalt paths that joggers, cyclist and families go for a walk from I-45 to I-59. Also parks along the way you can use restrooms and get water. Most of path is covered with foliage which keeps things cooler in the hot summer.

My favorite biking place, winding, well maintained, patrolled by constables located front of park. Interconnects 3 parks and expanding. Though families, walkers, dogs, once you get past park areas deep on trail, at most times of day not busy. Beautiful scenery along Spring Cypress Creek, not many hills. Many animals, saw bald eagle at creek. Playground: Several playgrounds lots apparatus and restrooms. Toilets: Clean Dog-friendliness: Have nice dog park Picnic area: Multiple picnic areas

Wow. How have I not discovered this park before now? The park provides access to a miles long, wonderful, paved greenbelt between I 45 in Spring and US 59 at Humble. The mostly shaded path is excellent for biking, walking, or jogging and has parks every few miles along the path. A hidden gem for anyone wanting to get out in nature.

I try and bike daily, 20-30mi, Dennis Johnston is by far the best one in Houston. Very clean, well maintained, when you get deep into the trail during the week run into very few people. Lots of deer crossing path, especially after rains or later in day, be cautious, safe, constables patrol trail on 4wheelers. Cypress Creek runs along one side as trail winds through very shaded winding paved trail. Only small inclines, can approach 20mph or more in some areas. Worth the drive, since all sections opened, can get over 29mi in distance. Worth the drive.
