My partner grew up in Pakistan, so I m picky with my South Asian food. Believe me when I say that this was the BEST Indian food I have had in this area. The service was great, and the food was unforgettable. I tried their naan, various curries, and biryani. All of it was incredible.

Amazing indian restaurant in Spring TX. I am from Austin, and I can certainly say this restaurant is at par if not an inch better than the restaurants in Austin. To beging things off. Francis, the owner, first thing welcomed me and ensured that I was comfortable. Next, he suggested that I try the Soya Chaap Biryani, which is not a common delicacy you find in any indian restaurants, and asked for my honest feedback. Well, here it is - 5 stars. Excellent service, excellent food, felt like a home cooked meal, and a perfect blend of spice, taste, and quality Love it, you must try this place. No Brainer!!

This place was so tasty! I ve never actually had Indian food before so I was ready for something different & I let them know when they got to my table. The waiter (I forgot his name which I m so sorry about) then talked with me and asked about the kinds of things I liked! He asked if he could surprise me and I was all for it! After some minutes the food came out hot and fresh and I savored every bite. For a first experience, I give it a solid 5 stars. Looks like I ended up with the Kalimirch with some rice and the bullet naan, all of which paired amazingly together. The restaurant doesn t have chandeliers or anything fancy inside but trust me when I say the food and atmosphere make it a worthwhile visit.

This was the best Indo Chinese food I have had in ages it transported me back to 20 years ago in my memory lane to the flavors of Indo Chinese cuisine from Bombay. I met with Francis and Clord. They were wonderful staff who took my order and cooked it to perfection the way I wanted. Least did I expect to be wowed as I had given up trying for the authentic Indo Chinese food. This is definitely a true hidden gem. I also ordered the tandoori chicken leg quarters and they cooked it to perfection and they did not use any red food coloring unlike other restaurants. They definitely take pride in serving the best food to their customers. I love how Clord asked what my interests were and what type of food I wanted to try and it was as if he read my mind and created wonderful dishes for us. We are definitely ordering from them for all future catering orders.

But as Ive grown older (66 and countimg) Ive noticed i have digestivw issues with some cuisines, especially Indian food. I dont think Ive eaten any Indian food in two or three years. FYI. Ive never had an issue with Namaste. But i have at the last two or three other Indian restaurants Ive tried Although I love goat I think maybe it and a lot of.fried foods are bad choices for me in tje future. Anyway I had some friends cancel on me for lunch at the last minute and I drove back to my office near Namaste and decided to be careful what I ordered and test my luck. Im glad I did. I ordered butter chicken and garlic Naan. I must have forgot how good it was. It was amazing!!! And my aging gut tolerated it well. My wife will be happy we can go again. The service was very good. Prompt. Friendly. Helpful. The atmosphere is good. Clean. Nice decorations. But it isnt Perrys. If you want some amazing.Indian food, check out Namaste. You wont be disappointed.

We traveled over 20 miles for Medu Wada and Tiffine service menu, but upon our arrival, we were informed that the menu had been changed. The curries are rich, with decadent layers of flavor. We ordered butter chicken, chicken masala, Gobi (cauliflower) Vindaloo, Kadai Bhindi (a delicious vegetarian okra dish), as well as both garlic Naan and butter Naan. The Naan was incredible, with just a touch of comforting browning from the side of the tandoori, and a slight crunch. The curries all impressed, and a 3 out of 5 on spice level was pleasant without interfering with the subtly spiced sauce. My Mom is sensitive to spiciness, and even she was enjoyed the spice level in my veggie Vindaloo. The portions are generous. We definitely could have split any of the $15 curries; we ended up with enough leftovers for four of us to enjoy for dinner later at night. Vegetarian options: The Gobi (cauliflower) Vindaloo is fabulous!

I posted a 5 star review for this restaurant about 3 years ago, and just took it down. We went to eat here for the first time in a while, and just cant recommend. The menu is limited, not a traditional Indian menu. I got the Samosa Chat, which was not at all what I imagined from the description, and too spicy, although I had told the server I didnt like spicy. It was so hot from being microwaved that it took quite a while to cool down. My husband ordered an entree, expecting rice to come with it, as in other Indian restaurants we frequent, and how formerly we were served at this one. But, no rice. Apparently you have to order separately. Additionally, there are water bottles on the table. We asked for hot water to drink, which is a very customary Indian practice, and were told that they would just microwave the water in the bottle. And, you pay for the water. No complimentary water. Very strange, in my opinion. How is it less expensive to buy water in bottles than to install a filter in your restaurant. Not to mention the effect on the environment. In addition to all this, we both visited the restrooms. The sink in the womens looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a long time. My husband said that the urinal wouldnt flush and there was a strong urine scent. So, sorry, Namaste, I cant recommend, and we wont be back.

First - their menu said Vijayawada biryani but that is no where near just biryani. The chef and the owners need to understand that just by boiling basmati rice and adding color and putting on top of onion gravy with some spices and cream added to it does not become biryani. The serving staff was arrogant with the answers they gave. Instead of saying this is how we cook Vijayawada biryani in our restaurant they were like that is the recipe and every restaurant has their own recipe. It s like Bhai khana hai tho khalo .. Mind you I am from Mumbai and used to eating Spicer food.. but this was just dried red chilly mixed with noodles . I would rate the chicken lollipop as average. If you visit here try to be away from the schezuan noodles. Definitely not going back ..

Let me start by saying that the staff was very friendly and the manager made great recommendations. I was in the mood for some good Indian food and ended up ordering Paani Puri and Mysore Masala Dosa after a brief conversation with the Manager. The Paani Puri arrived promptly as an appetizer and it was delicious. For the main course I ordered Mysore Masala Dosa which was served with 3 chutneys and sambar. Everything was delecious but the masala (the potato stuffing) in the dosa was the highlight of the whole meal, it was flavorful and aromatic a perfect balance of taste and spice. Was not hungry enough to order a dessert after the meal but thats definitely on the list for the next visit to this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Paani Puri and Mysore Masala Dosa

Food was fresh, tasted good and light. The host greeted us and made sure we were taken care of. The food arrived fast and was hot. This restaurant is pretty expensive for what it s worth. Few things that need attention 1. The malai kofta curry had either too much food color or turmeric. It stained our hands. It would be good if the quantity can be reduced. 2. The koftas were hollow and the outer layer was crispy rather than soft. The filling didn t look like paneer or potato. 3. The ladies restroom needed attention. The sink was clogged and soap dispenser was empty. 4. Mango lassi was more sour than usual. 5. Few naan slices were crispy but otherwise they tasted very fresh. 6. The ras malai definitely tasted like the Nanak brand.

Namaste has good food options and serves flavourful Indian food. Although the food has flavor, the quantity is very less and pricing is extremely high. The non-veg items have barely any meat. The to-go boxes are always half full. The entrées do not even come with rice which is not the norm. I hope the management works on their customer satisfaction levels.

Ginger garlic chicken is delicious! Kind of similar to chili chicken or chicken 65, but with a ginger twist. The papadum is good, but you only get two pieces for $3. Food arrives quickly! The onion pakora is fantastic. Very light and crispy. I got both roti and garlic naan. I much preferred the naan. The roti was cooked crispier than I expected it to be. My wife loved her chicken tikka masala. It is made with white meat chicken. Drinks do not have ice, and the air conditioning is not used in the dining area. The temperature was not too bad, but I can imagine it being uncomfortable in the summer time.

My husband and I tried Namaste for the first time this week and really enjoyed the whole experience. Francis, one of the owners, asked us what meats we liked and how spicy we liked our food, then he asked us to trust him to bring out two entrees that he knew we would love. He brought me the Rogan Josh with lamb and my husband a Pepper Chicken in a creamy cashew sauce with sides of Roti and basil fried rice. Everything was amazing! The restaurant is in an aged strip center, but the inside is nicely outfitted for comfortable casual dining with tables and booths available. They have a lunch special for $16.99 or you can get larger entrees and share. We had a full meal each remaining from our two entrees and they were just as good reheated. We will definitely be eating here more! Thanks Francis for the wonderful experience!

Great clean place for delicious Indian food. They cater to both vegetarian and vegan requirements. Very few Indian restaurants understand what a vegan item is supposed to be; free of all animal products including eggs and dairy and honey. The folks at Namaste actually label their menu items that are vegan. They avoid using ghee in vegan dishes as the owner once told me. Vegetarian options: They do label some items as vegan but they may be willing to modify other items to make it vegetarian or even vegan. Dietary restrictions: They would modify almost any item to the extent possible to make it vegan. Dairy cream can be substituted with coconut cream and ghee can be replaced with vegetable and/or coconut oil.

All-around positive experience, just not 5-star. First, if you understand that there are different styles of Indian food then you wont be disappointed with the food - everything I had (Dragon Chicken app, Tandoori leg quarters, and Vindaloo shrimp) was very flavorful and spice (heat) was spot on for what I requested. The Tandoori leg quarters were cooked perfectly - and the spice was very very nice. However, the presentation didnt do the dish justice. The dining area was clean and spacious, but to say the atmosphere is 5-star isnt fair to the restaurants that go the extra mile. Service was very enthusiastic. All in all, I doubt you will be disappointed.

The food wasn t that good. The samosas are good and the sauce they come with but the main platter I had did not taste right, I had shrimp and they did not come grilled. ***Edit*** I went back today 8/29/23, and they recommended a different dish. They gave me a side of naan bread with it and some basil rice. This new dish was a cashew base ( I believe it was called Korma) and again, I took it to go because I was short on time. it was honestly phenomenal! As far as heat, it was at the other end of the spectrum from what I had last night. My dad says its a little spicy but for me its not spicy at all. It is still VERY GOOD though. They were also very kind to me and apologetic for the problem I encountered. Very nice, professional people. ***Edit 8/28/23*** I feel bad for leaving a negative review prematurely. I was frustrated and I didnt think to give them an opportunity to fix the problem before leaving a review. I called the restaurant and told them what happened and they were very nice to tell me they will replace the meal tomorrow when Im back in town. ***Original review*** I went in and told the lady what I liked from other restaurants Id been to and asked her to recommend something. She asked how spicy I like my food and I said medium. She recommended something that she thought Id like (Kalimirch) and I took it to go. Ive always liked everything Ive eaten at Indian restaurants so I didnt feel like it was a bad idea to get it to go. I got it home, and it is so hot that I cant eat it. I like spicy. I use a ton of wasabi on my sushi. I am a hot sauce snob.... But this is literally so hot I cant taste the flavor of the food, and my lips are on fire after 2 bites. There is also hardly any chicken in it, Im thinking that was not purposeful. The texture of the chicken is nice and I would probably enjoy the meal if it was not so insanely spicy. Makes me extra sad since I was really craving Indian food, I rarely have the chance to get it because of where I live, but I was in the woodlands to visit someone in the hospital and wanted to get some while I could. This single plate with an order of naan cost me $20 so I was expecting it to be great and was disappointed when it was too spicy to eat.

My boyfriend and I were craving Indian, so we decided to give this place a try. We arrived in the late afternoon and the place was mostly empty, which is crazy because we had the best experience! First of all, the service was great! We were greeted by a gentleman who was eager to answer all our questions since we werent familiar with the items on the menu. We ended up telling him roughly what we liked and our high tolerance for spicy food, and he sort of put together a tasting for us and even included a custom paneer dish! We had naan, paneer, cauliflower in a red sauce (called Dragon), goat biryani, and an assortment of pakora. Everything was DELICIOUS!! We over ordered on purpose because we enjoy leftovers, and we had enough for another full dinner the next day. The prices were also super reasonable. My favorite items were the Dragon Cauliflower, and the assortment of Pakora, especially the chili and the potato pakora. We are adding this place to our regular rotations and cannot wait to come back! Vegetarian options: The menu is designed so that you choose your sauce or dish, and then choose your protein. So basically most things can be made veggie from what I understood!

Just got back to my hotel and am writing this right away because this place deserves it - best Indian Restaurant i have been to based of great food and excellent customer service! The guy who served us asked for our spice level was on 1-5 and what we usually get at Indian places. My coworker said usually Vindaloo and where did that fall on his spice scale - said about 3. Co worker said ok then, lamb vindaloo. The guy discussed typical flavor profile of vindaloo and asked how he felt about a few suggested options - co worker said yeah. On to me - i usually get Rogan Josh and said 4 would be my spice level based on him considering vindaloo a 3 He asked suggested a few things and i too said yeah (I chose goat). He also suggested a basil rice and some chile garlic naan. We said yes. Wow! He delivered big time! Everything was fantastic! This topped any Indian i have had in the US or UK! If you live here, you have a treasure! Go! Im here for training with my company. I have one more day - I was going to get Whataburger tomorrow for dinner since i miss that from when i lived in Texas, but that was before this meal. Whataburger can wait for another day. Im going back to Namaste tomorrow for dinner. Back to the end of the meal though- co worker loved his. I loved mine too, whole spice, tender meat, just excellent! Both of us were super impressed. It was honestly fantastic. I highly recommend it!
