Dined in at 8pm, staff sweeping around us as if trying to close. Even though close times at 10 pm. Only three families there. Register not nice, also looked at me like why am I there so late. Told waitress no soap in restroom, never put soap. Uncomfortable. I noticed also owner responds to good reviews and not negative reviews. All reviews should be acknowledged.

Great customer service! Excellent food! The menudo is soo good! I need to go back and taste their pozole! Appearantly it is very good, since it runs out quickly!! The salsas are soo good! Everything taste fresh and homemade!

They bring you the food pretty quickly. The waiter didnt take care of us badly but suddenly it disappeared. We had already finished eating and it took him a while to return so we could ask for the bill. I liked the environment a lot. But the tortillas didnt taste much to me. I ordered the grill and I also think it lacked a little flavor. I would give the food a 3 out of 5 but the tortillas really lacked a lot of flavor. The sauces are good. The green one was the best. Im sorry but I wouldnt return.

What happened to you today? It was my favorite place for years! I ordered the usual.....small and.... Now they disappointed me! It was edible, but it had no flavor! The broth tasted like just water with meat.....they didnt add any seasonings or natural chili. It was missing that flavor that only a well-roasted, well-seasoned and fried chile sauce gives. The meat lacked a little cooking...they lost their homemade touch! I think they used chili powder! And its not the same at all!!!

Best authentic Mexican food you can find in Pasadena, TX. Not Tex-Mex food, I m talking the real deal. This place has one of the best menudos in all the Houston area and their barbacoa tacos are the bomb along with their hand made tortillas!! The tables and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are somewhere in a Pueblo in Mexico (for real)I would definitely comeback here again!!

I love that they make fresh homemade flour tortillas daily. Food is great! It used to be a very small taqueria but they rebuilt a bigger building and it is big, inviting, nice and has a traditional & genuine Mexican feel to it. Food

I came to eat with my family, the waiter was very friendly, we ordered a seafood mix dish for my son and we had a chicken and beef barbecue, the mix dish came out with the raw fish and we told a waiter what was happening and he told us that Lets see what they could do. When we went to pay, the manager just gave us his apologies and a half-off discount. Finally, I asked for the receipt and saw that they only deducted 2 dollars from us. I didnt want anything for free, but the minimum they could. holding back was the bad attitude. Customer service is the only thing that counts, our first and last time visiting this restaurant.

Everything was so bomb!! They gave us free samples of the tacos de trompo and let me tell you they were soo good . The horchata was also pretty amazing, and the milanesa was perfectly cooked! I would definitely recommend coming here to eat!

Overall this place is pretty good for breakfast. It has great spicy menudo along with a pretty good variety of selection. The thing that takes this over the top is the homemade corn and flour tortillas. But i have been there for slower times, and you dont always get the freshly made tortillas. So if you want a good food experience go weekends in the morning. Sometimes it can get quite busy and you may have to wait. Kid-friendliness: A kids menu is offered

The place wasn t busy, I m surprised since Sunday mornings are always busy with taco orders. With that being said, it s a SEAT YOUR SELF restaurant so no you won t be greeted and seated which I like. Our waitress was a little slow after we ordered. She forgot my mother s straw also a spoon. Didn t really check on us or get me another drink till we were almost finished. She was more focus on cleaning everything than us which sucked but at the same time showed good work ethic. I also hate how you have to pay the check in the corner. I think that is stupid especially if it s extremely busy. It would be crowded by the bar where you pay. Overall the food from the chicken fajita was amazing. The refried beans actually had whole beans which I liked. The rice was normal and the chicken was well seasoned. I also got flautas de pollo and it was very good. I recommend this restaurant. I think it s one the good ones in the area.

The food is good. Some times the staff is not too happy to serve. Prices are with a tip included. They moved down the street to have a bigger restaurant and if it was new that would be great but the decor is odd and not clean. The tables are horrible. The booths have horrible seat bottoms for a place only a year or so old. Went back after a couple of years and to say they got worse is an understatement. They dont speak English it seems Also they change there decor but its still all sticky For some reason you can order what you want only from the menu. If you want fajita chicken it doesnt exist in this so called Hispanic restaurant Negative 5 stars

Ordered Bacon and egg taco. Bacon was not crisp mostly fat. Told waiter I could not eat it. He had to report to management, she came over, after explaining she replied I see meat. A disgusting experience at the Spencer Hwy branch, after almost finishing my chilaquiles dish a COCKROACH appears from among the chilaquiles. I asked to speak to the owner, apparently he wasnt there and the waitress said that they had just finished fumigating (they always say that). Disgusted and upset, I left there. According to my husband, the owner said that if I got sick he would cover the expenses, but in This case is more my sense of anger and nausea at thinking that I may have eaten cockroaches without realizing it. Very bad in the kitchen from being my Favorite to being The Favorite of the COCKROACHES.

Ive been coming here for a few years now just for the pozole. I never go inside due to past bad service with waiters/waitresses. I take my usual to go. Now I know when you buy pozole your gonna get the usual bits of fat here and there, thats normal. Todays soup was filled with a bout a quarter pound of fat. Clearly unacceptable for the size small soup priced at $8.65. I returned back went inside and was met by an older woman who was not to happy with me showing up with a bag of fat. I asked if my soup can be replaced but sadly the woman was furious with me and told me she would not be replacing the food. She handed me my refund and wanted me out :( . Tip to future customers. Check your food before leaving.

The place deserves well over the 3.9 stars that it has. The Menudo was fire. Couldve had a little more meat but overall it was on point. It was nice and spicy with the jalapeños added. Just how i like it. The salsa is really good. I had to get some to go. The micheladas were pretty good too. Not the best ever but definitely not a disappointment. I had tacos de lengua too that were pretty good. Id definitely go back to this place.
