First and foremost we went here to see a home they were building in a completely different community that is just starting. The assistant was the person who helped and we explained to and she still went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with what we were looking for knowing we werent going to buy there. They even stayed late to make sure we were taken care of even after apologizing over and over to her that she doesnt have to stay. Absolutely beautiful community and beautiful homes. Wish we were looking for the San Marcos area just based on the customer service alone.

Do not walk away from this company .RUN! We spent a lot of money on our house and our yard looks awful. After talking with my neighbors, Highland let our grass sit on pallets for over a week before trying to install it. Our yard was not leveled and we were asked to water it twice a day for weeks after closing, taking on that high water bill cost. It s been two months and my yard is embarrassing. I can t pull weeds without pulling up the sod.

Their houses seem to be constructed well and have decent features. I have concerns and feelings about certain things that happened when looking for a home that are unrelated to the quality of their homes.
