This location is severely lacking. Doesnt have many options for projects, missing common items, doesnt sell basic painting tools such as a drip cloth, only the older lady has any knowledge at all, barely has any candles in the store and the sections are not well organized. They need to hire a better merchandiser. I have been going to Michaels my whole life and this one I just find to be embarrassing to the rest of the franchise/company.

So when a sign says all items of soecific brand 30% off and does not exclude sale or clearance, but the sales person tries to excuse its only where the sign is then you prove some of the items are actually ringing up right just not the ones you bought, you get a little frustrated

I shop with Michael s frequently since I have an art business. We went yesterday and they had signs for buy 1 get 1 free on brushes and we got a frame for $5 bucks. I got home and double checked the receipt because it seemed kind of high. They didn t do the discount for buy one get one free for the brushes and charged full price for the frame. My husband went back to the store to get them to honor the signs that were still currently up. The guy at the register said people miss read the sales signs all the time and need to read the fine print better. So they have signs attached to the brushes that aren t on sale. I ve worked and managed corporate retail locations. You always honor the price of signs if they are over an item due to advertising. For the employee to say it happens all the time and people don t read the signs (which we did) is insane. They didn t honor it so I returned the items and will purchase them someone else. This is such a misleading tactic. If you shop at this location check your receipt before leaving the store.

Really great store to shop, but most important is management. One of the managers that works there name Valentina is truly the BEST, she is such a caring and sweet person. Some of my items got left behind and I needed them for my son s project the next day. I called right before they were going to close and I live in Kyle so it was going to take me a while to get there. But she told me that she was going to stay behind waiting in the parking lot with my items, and she did. For someone to care about me when she doesn t even know me to stay behind and do that for me is truly an amazing person, she honestly deserves a raise. This honestly gives me hope that they re still kind and caring people in this world. Thank you.

Used to spend a lot of money and enjoy preparing for the holidays shopping at Michaels. this store (and the others we ha e been in recently) have really gone down hill, and like everywhere else customer service is rude or non existent. Amazon is winning and Lilliana is an example of why.

I used to love Michaels, but this store has been very disappointing the last few times Ive been there. The store doesnt have a lot. Its well laid out, but its a pretty small store. I always love shopping at Michaels. They were low on inventory but I overhead an employee saying that there was some problem with items coming in from China. Which is why I think we should rely less on China and go back to making things in ! That is my little personal editorial. It would have been nice if anyone asked me if I needed any help. It was clear that I was walking around looking for things. In fact I was looking and reading about clay for 10 min. Two different employees walked past me and not once asked me if I needed anything.

I did not find the things I needed in the fine arts section which was barely more than what you find at Walmart. They were having a paint sale, so I decided to try some professional quality Daniel Smith watercolor paint. I understand that it has to be locked up, the tubes are small and its expensive, but I had to spend 5 minutes finding an employee. Then they could not find the right keys. I waited another 10 minutes before it was unlocked by a supervisor. The odd thing is the employee that first helped me and the supervisor both let me walk away with the paint to keep shopping. The reason its locked up is that the employee that unlocks the case is supposed to carry it to the register to prevent theft.

Came here today, no one was working the check out and no one was around to offer assistance; none of beads had any of the prices for apparent sales that were in process; one of attendees said well, just bring your items and we ll check the prices during checkout; I find that unacceptable; If you need some one to show how to run your store, I will be more than happy to show you!!!
