Place was almost empty but they were running behind with to-go orders. Even worse, the bartender was picking customers to offer a drink while they waited for their to-go orders. Just terrible and sad to see. Now it makes sense . I was treated differently because the bartender assumed I was a DoorDash/Uber driver . Thanks

Picture below is the Stiffed Meatball Trio. This appetizer wasnt what I thought it would be, thought it was three meatballs stuffed with cheese, not three sliced in half, stuck on sticks with cheese in the middle. They were overcooked and flavorless. Thankfully the manager comped it for me. Otherwise, the pizza was pretty good.

If you have a party of 5 or more you may have to wait awhile, perhaps even a long while, before youre seated as they only have 2 tables that can accommodate large groups. The staff was pleasant while we waited and once seated the service was good. The spinach and artichoke dip we had as an appetizer was just okay but we werent there for the appetizer. The 3 different types of pizza we had were all superb. While I wont go back again with a large party because its a crapshoot getting seated in a timely manner, Id definitely take my wife again on a date.

Wow! MM SA deserves 6 stars. The Pizza is amazing, toppings are generously perfect, crust is delicious, sauce and cheese on point. One of the best pizzas I have had ever, but what makes this a 6 star location are the people. Led by GM who is there and willing to do anything, but also taking time to ask how you are enjoying the food. The effect of this leadership is seen in a staff who are provided happy amazing service.

We came here for a birthday on a Tuesday at lunch thinking it would be easy, no problem. It took 90 MINUTES to get served food. The kids fell asleep by the time the food arrived. When we asked when the food was coming, the server never apologized. He just defended himself which was never what we wanted. We just wanted to understand how an EMPTY restaurant could not make pizzas in 90 minutes. Three of us ordered salads and only one got their salad the entire time. The only 2 other tables here were served and checked out before we ever got food. Service is terrible, kitchen is slow and no sense of apology whatsoever.

Long wait time but the pizza was good and the toppings were generous. The pizza was tepid when it arrived at the table. It was a Sunday afternoon and not terribly busy. Perhaps the staff is a little too mellow? I will give it another go. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is free of gluten.

It was our first time at Mellow Mushroom We Loved their shiitake pizza and Honey Sriracha wings ! Service was amazing, but I have to add that we haven t seen anyone work as hard as our waitress Jordan did ! Jordan was polite , fast ,and extremely efficient We could see that she is a very responsible employee with a lot of self-initiative, ambition, and drive Jordan made our first visit a VERY pleasant one ! A good restaurant is made of 40% of food , 10% the atmosphere/place and 50% the service Today was a 100% perfect experience!

My daughter absolutely loves the great white pizza! I absolutely loved the famous mushroom soup. Please bring back the mushroom soup!! I have asked servers and staff why the mushroom soup is no longer available and no one seems to know. Staff says it sold well. Why oh why did you take away my mushroom soup? I really want it back! This was my second visit at mellow mushroom, first visit was amazing which is why i chose to return. My second visit was absolutely horrible; my server Nikki was extremely rude and unattentive. I ve been a server for 6+ years i know the difference between good service and laziness. Not to mention my calzone was all breading, and no toppings. Server did not show any empathy for our order being made poorly. I asked for extra toppings which not only took 25 mins, but all we waited for was we chopped up sausage patties and ricotta cheese absolutely ridiculous!

Stopped in on 7/05/2024 to pick up an order. While I normally really enjoy Mellow Mushroom tonight was an off night for them. Overall, the pizza I order is always good. My favorites are the Holy Shiitake and the Kosmic Karma. I also enjoy their Greek salad, until tonight. I picked up the order around 9:35PM. I couldnt put my finger on it while at the restaurant, however, I told myself that something just looked off about the salad. When I arrived home, I promptly pulled up the menu to review the toppings that comprise their version of the Greek salad. Out of the Eleven (11) toppings that were named on the menu, my salad was missing Seven (7)! I did a customization of my Greek salad to only remove the sheeps milk feta cheese, and somewhere along the line the ball was dropped and I only received three toppings! What is usually a succulent filling salad, looked like a rushed, totally underwhelming hodge-podge of lettuce with a sprinkle of banana peppers, cucumbers, slices of Roma tomatoes, and some thrown in black olives (which are Not listed as part of the toppings). I also found a few bits of the sheeps milk feta in the salad which I picked out. For a full size $10.99 salad, this was not right. I also had a half and half pizza and whomever finished dressing it with the garlic sauce on the Holy Shiitake side was very heavy handed for some reason. I would have called back the same night, however, they closed at 10PM. I did not receive my printed receipt either. Please double check what you producing and serving to ensure it is what was ordered, details matter.

We had Captain Chris and Cynthia as our servers. Each was fantastic and we couldnt have been happier with the experience. The menu is decently large and diverse for a pizza place. Everything we tried was incredible. Their pizzas came out perfect regardless of the size and the toppings were portioned well. Ordered online for pickup. Ordered 5:15 pm and email stated order ready 6:05 pm. Got to the restaurant at 5:45 to enjoy a beer while a wait, no problem yet. So, 6:10pm and still waiting. 6:15 and still nothing, so I asked about it and watched the server pointing to the kitchen staff that my ticket was still hanging. Then he came and told me that the food is going to be ready in 10 mins. Asked to talk to the manager and he came saying that they had an issue with the oven. At this point I am pissed off because he was not telling me the truth. I was sitting right near the pizza ovens, the bar and where they kitchen staff make the food, so don t lie to me. So, instead of tell me that they forgot to make my order in time he came to me with that excuse. Finally, they gave me my order at 6:35 pm. Got home and you can see when a pizza is made in a hurry. Went in one afternoon with a friend hoping to have a great lunch but the waiter Jacob was a complete nunce. He was rude, overly cocky, terrible at recommending food. He was up in our personal space almost hitting my friend while leaning on her booth making her comfortable. We had to come to SA for a medical appt. Going out to eat is always challenging because we need gluten free. This place nailed it! By far, one of the best g/f eaterys weve ever been to! The wings are sooo good and although the one size only (10 inch) g/ f pizza only came in a thin crust, it was absolutely delicious! And we usually dont care for thin crust but the fresh toppings and overall perfect sauce and cheese ratio made us forget all about the crust. We had a couple mixed drinks and although pretty pricey ($12 for a small glass), I have no problem paying for something if its good quality... And these were very nice quality cocktails! The service was friendly and the time from ordering to food arrival was perfect. We have to go back to SA next week and were already looking forward to another Mellow Mushroom night! The food was great, our server was great too. The only bad part was the 1.5 hour wait to get our pizzas. The wings we ordered as apps came out in a timely manner. But the 1st of 2 pizzas we got didnt get to us till about a 1 hour after the wings. Then when we finished the first pizza it was another 20 minutes till the next one came out. I get that you guys have to work twice as hard to do mobile orders, and dine-in but there HAS to be a better system in place. No one should wait for hours to get some pizza. Especially if Im taking the time out of my day to go to the restaurant and sit down and eat. Id also like to add that we were not the only guests waiting, many other guests were visibly upset as well. I guess mobile orders take priority.

Great place that I would go to again for sure. I love pizza and Im also pretty picky with pizza - the pizza here was good but not like knocking my socks off. Cool to just hang at the bar. Kid-friendliness: Eh, not really for kids but you could bring them if you wanted. Wouldnt take kids late because they seem to function more like an actual bar when it gets late.

Visited Mellow Mushroom on 1604. We savored their sweet peach tea which I highly recommend. It was so good! Their spinach artichoke dip was just ok. We ordered half of their great white and half of their house pizzas which were truly delicious. Although their pretzel bites weren t to my taste everything else was great. Our waitress Michelle stood out for her friendly upbeat demeanor and all around helpfulness.

Great pizza and an impressive beer selection. We had a House Special and Pepperoni, Cheese Bread, and a Greek Salad. The food was fantastic, fresh, and delicious. The service was extremely good. Very informative as to wait times for orders, quick to refill drinks, and very friendly. Highly recommended! Rafferty was absolutely amazing. He took great care of our family!

Friday night around 6:30 p.m. Five minute wait. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Pizza was excellent. We had the Great White (Margarita) and The Pacific Rim (Hawaiian). A margarita pizza usually doesn t have enough umph for me, but this is an exception, four different cheeses. Our granddaughter had a burger (double patties) with tater tots (no fries, btw) and was extremely happy. The beer menu was decent. Would definitely go back, and if we lived closer would do delivery or take out! This would be a 5 star review, but Shelby (blue hair person) needs to learn proper restaurant greeting and customer service. Used to go here while my girlfriend gets her nails done, but not anymore. Dont get mad if you walk away neglecting to greet your customer, and then get mad that I grabbed my own menu, because I was excited like I always am to come here. Its not that serious. I look young and maybe that is why she talked to me the way she did, but I am too old (35), have way too much restaurant experience, and tip too well to ever put up with you (Shelby) speaking to me like that.
