This restaurant gets a 1 because thats the lowest rating I can give. Beyond disappointed Theyre online presence says they close at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday. We walked in at 10:45 a.m. and the waitress tells us that they close at 11:00 a.m. and refused setvice. Apparently this place has a piss poor way of managing a restaurant! I will not be back!

Traveling through town and Fleming s was suggested by a family friend to meet there for breakfast. She picked a gem. It s located inside the local bowling alley and is well appointed as a diner. The ladies serving were friendly and attentive, coffee cups were kept flowing. I had the meat and cheese omelette with bacon. It came with hashbrowns and I chose a biscuit. I also asked for tomatoes to be added. Delicious and filling, loved the hashbrowns. Husband had the biscuits and gravy, he chose bacon as his side. He said it was well seasoned, gravy was a good texture, he said it was a 10. They even had chocolate milk, which made him happy. Highly recommend for breakfast.

The restaurant and food are great! I recommend the patty melt. The business hours are entirely unsatisfactory. Its got to be a restriction put on them by the bowling alley owner. Thats all I can think of -to prevent competition with the bar. I mean, who in the world would close this restaurant at 2PM?? If they were open, theyd have solid business all evening.

Hey guys! Chris here and I found a little treasure of a place for your hole in the wall breakfast restaurant. And just to make it more interesting, its right by a bowling alley.. literally! This place is closed more than open. Went by Saturday at 1:30 and was told you were closed. Place is paced with bowlers. Closed all day Sunday. I seldom find a time youre open. The previous owners didnt have that problem.if you arent serious about serving, turn it over to someone that is.

The place is nice. Just very noisy. Dont know why, but been to other places that are about the size but werent so noisy. Maybe bec the other places hv carpet. When theres no carpet it echoes. We received our food 50 mins later. And it came out one plate at a time. We might return for another try. But not sure yet.

I absolutely love hole in the wall Diners! It s classic and afterwards you can bowl, if you d like?. Yesterday was the first time I ve ever had flemings and it started off great with fried pickles. ( they were sooo good and did not have a boatload of batter!! ) you know they re good when the batter crumbles into your mouth after being dipped in some good ranch ! The main course, I selected the mouth watering Patty Melt, it was like having a home cooked meal with best waitresses! They were so kind and sweet. Our food and fries were fresh of the grill and fryer, it was fairly quick getting our meals. 5 Star Service right here. Please stop by, this is definitely One of the smaller restaurant/diners you won t want to miss !

Food was great waitress was a total mess everything I tried saying about how we wanted our food she had a attitude about it. Instead of saying we are short handed an having to close early she was rude. We came here for late lunch after moving my son in the web page said nothing about closing early smh. Needless to say she received no tip only time she topped of our drinks was when we paid and with tht she didnt bring the ticket but wanted my card like lady whats my total lmbo she snapped and said its on the ticket where the hell is the ticket I thought but she snapped again and said up front I can get it if u want to see it umm yeah but I just followed her up there just bad service all around I get the lack of help I deal with it but do not take it out on people ho come in for a service you provide.

For for a diner thats attached to the bowling alley, it was fairly good. I had the catfish sandwich and tater tots , both which were great. I went on off hours, and the food came very quickly. Im going to go back and try the breakfast which ends at 10:30 a.m.

Ate there yesterday, the service was good but that was where the good ended. The cook was loud and obnoxious, you could hear him throughout the diner. After we ordered he finally decided that he couldnt make salads since he didnt have any lettuce, he only had enough pot roast for one more serving and he was not happy. I should add this all happened at the beginning of lunch time not after they had been serving for a while. When they did bring our food mine was ok but the vegetable soup my wife ordered was a dry club of vegetables that looked like they were left over from the day before and the glob of mayo they put on her BLT minus the lettuce looked old and stale. I dont often write negative reviews but this guy took the cake. The waitress was very nice and even offered to pay for our meal herself. We declined since she was not the problem. We have eaten here before and it was good but that ended today and we wont be back.

I would say Flemings Family Dinner is one of San Angelos best kept dining secrets, but when you see how busy they are on a regular basis youll decide thats not true. We regulars just like to think thats the case. You dont have to be a regular to enjoy everything on the menu because itll fantastic!
