Upon reading the reviews, what stood out to me was the lack of customer service by the employees. I see this all too much these days. They want to hire all These young people but the only problem with that is they do not like to work, they do not like to listen to anyone older than them or to their superiors. They lack people skills and have bad bad attitudes. It is time to start hiring older people who know how to work and hire the young people who know how to get along with others. Young people might look beautiful but they have ugly personalities, where it counts.

I got a cappuccino and a sandwich which were both perfectly adequate and relatively reasonably priced. I watched the employees while I was there and saw one young lady doing 90% of the work and the rest just goofing off with each other. I hope the manager sees who the worker is and awards/promotes her accordingly.

Cold Smoke is a alright coffee shop for a person who wants to stop by while in town to grab something and go. I find that for the amount of money you spend, you just dont get enough of what you paid for. The staff seemed a little distant I guess, not really willing to talk to me or my friend. overall wasnt bad, id come here again.

Love the atmosphere and service but the coffee was terrible. Ordered the pecan black coffee. Not sure how the coffee was made, if brewed or drip. It was not fresh. Tasted like an ash tray. Coffee grounds were at the bottom of my cup. Noticed the beans are stored in huge tubs. Cant keep it fresh stored in a container that is not air tight. Might give it one more try but not anytime soon. I have to get the taste out of my mouth

This is my absolute favorite lunch spot, the coffee is always amazing and the workers are always kind and show excellent customer service, the manager is hands on with the staff and very professional, if something is ever wrong with the order they are quick to fix it and doesn t hesitate to help in any way. The shop is always so clean and just cozy. 11/10 recommend. Definitely the best coffee shop in Angelo and they all deserve a raise or a good holiday bonus!

Walked in and was not greeted by either two of the workers, then we were ignored for a few minutes while standing to order. They did not make one of our drinks initially, then made the wrong drink when we finally got it. One of the workers had headphones in and did not call our name when our order was ready. The blended drink we ordered had too much cold brew added and covered the taste of the other ingredients. Would not recommend!!

The food and drinks are always amazing if you actually get what you ordered. We used to go multiple times a week because we loved the drink and food options but the staff, one specific girl is one of the most disrespectful, rude baristas I ve ever encountered in my life. I ve never made a google review before, but I will never go back here because this is the 5th time we ve tried to go back after this girl being rude and we re done trying. My husband just wanted one of the coffees to start his birthday today and she proceeded to yell at him that it s his fault the order was completely wrong because he used the app and blatantly ignored him. She does not belong in customer service and ruins the entire experience of what would be an awesome coffee spot.

I went in for the first time with my teenage daughter just to see what the place was... Once I went we were both amazed. Coffee variety is good. Atmosphere is very relaxed and layed back. Great to just go in and sit back either by yourself or with someone its a go to place you will not regret. Very clean and friendly staff. Experience is super unpredictable. One time it will be okay (never great), and the next will be really bad. Extremely long wait up to 20 minutes for a single coffee and the bottom will be filled with grounds. Perfect example of an amazing looking place but super inexperienced staff, im totally okay with young workers if they act professional, but they are far from it.

Poor service. Went in with 6 min before closing knowing exactly what I wanted and the worker said and I quote we close in 5 min and just looked at me awkwardly. Cool, but you are still open. Granted I know they were closing but the staff could have been nicer. On top of that, you stop serving and lock the doors at that your closing time. Ordered 2 late arrivals, one with a cinnamon bagel, and one with a blueberry bagel. Received the correct bagels but with the wrong meats and no egg. We brought our food back and showed our receipt to show what we ordered. They remade them but the sausage and egg was cold on both sandwiches, and they made both on cinnamon bagels. Great coffee place! The atmosphere is amazing, makes you feel like youre in Ruidoso! Lots of coffee options to choose from, I got the drip coffee as all of their specialty drinks are on the sweet side. Food was great! Employees were friendly! Cant go wrong with this place! We waited 20 minute for a drip brew coffee. 25 minutes for my white mocha and 30 minutes for our breakfast sandwiches.After the wait, I received the breakfast sandwich and was really disappointed. It was dry and had 2 of the thinnest pieces of dry cheap Land O Lake turkey, and crusty hard cheese from being microwaved way too long. Update: Got about halfway done with my sandwich and it just had an odd flavor. I peeled away a small piece of turkey and tasted it. It was not fresh and definitely turning bad. I informed one of the workers and was told What do you want me to do about it, we are busy . to which I told her she needs to check the meat and make sure they re not serving spoiled food to customers, she just kept repeating what am I supposed to do and never checked. After reading some of the other reviews about employees it is clear there is a real management issue at this restaurant. $20 wasted hopefully I don t get sick!

I stopped by for the first time today and it was not a good experience. I had planned on ordering coffee, then browsing the store area for Christmas gifts while I waited. Instead, I waited and waited to order my coffee, while being completely ignored by those working behind the counter. Eventually, I just gave up and walked out. Save your time and money and avoid this place. Also, if you have a sensitivity to lights (especially those with seizures and other brain disorders), be aware that the the hanging lights directly above the menu may cause issues.

Not really a place for coffee drinkers. More like a place for people who like dessert drinks where one of the ingredients happens to be coffee. The food looks great but man the coffee is lack luster. The first big red flag was all of the bags of coffee for sale are pre ground. Also not all of the bags have a bean origin on them nor do they all include the type of roast they are. The staff is very polite but very untrained and they clearly know nothing about coffee, they didnt even know what they had on drip or what roasts they had or the bean origins. This place would be good for you if you like Starbucks but not really for coffee drinkers. The coffee seems equivalent to what you could get at the grocery store and thats really sad because the decor and vibe of this place makes it seem like it would have great coffee. My first time here was to meet with a book club. I couldnt find many pics online to get an idea of seating options before I arrived but it was an ideal spot! Everyone in the group enjoyed their drinks and the huge, fresh cookies are what will be calling me back. It does open up to the store next door which actually added to the likeability. I would love if it stayed open later in the evenings. Parking: Parking lot with plenty of available spaces Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly but know that there are shelves of breakables as well as free access to the boutique/gift shop next door. It may be a bit much to keep littles from. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entry. Seating may be limited due to booth style seating. The more open sitting spaces would probably require one to move a chair out of the way to make room.

Ordered at 10am didn t get our drinks until 1045 and our drinks were both wrong, they made me the wrong sandwich twice and when I handed it back the second time the boy said fuck and by 11 I still didn t have my sandwich so we left. Perfect example of an establishment that has a great selection of drinks and eats, but simultaneously lacks courtesy and customer consideration. Ordered a coffee and sandwich at 11:00 on a Sunday with no one else in line. At 11:20 I ask for an update on my sandwich, to which I receive an oh, Ill get that started for you now. There is no sign to let anybody know the prices are incorrect and when I brought it up they stated our signs are incorrect and hopefully will be fixed soon. Nice Atmosphere, a potential to be a great little place to stop for a bite or cup of great coffee. But there seems to still be some kinks being a new place. There was plastic bags all over the floor, with a slew of young people running around trying to keep up with the morning rush. Pastries seem to be dry in the display case and from the looks of it, store bought. Before I ordered, I was told by the young girl behind the counter, that they would be pausing the line to catch up on orders. I waited 10 or so minutes, and decided to come back when they seem to have things more organized. Also notice a few things in the decor askew. Almost like they were quick to open and didnt wait to get the wall paneling quite right and the screen for the menu was broken and I couldnt see all the pricing for the drinks. There didnt seem to be anyone in charge behind the counter either. It just seemed frazzled and chaotic.

Like this place! The venue itself is really neat. Open and spacious. Lots of seating in chairs and booths for groups or solo visits. Great place to mingle, relax, or come to study I would say. Western-tavern like feel but relaxed and chill as well. Services is fast and kind, large menu of food and drink options of classics and crafted signature items as well. Cookies IMO are tiny as are the acai bowls. Parfaits are good size, just wish they did Greek yogurt for those vs regular only. Churro hot drink, Vanilla hot latte both really good, TX Pecan hot coffee very good. Want to go back for scones and bagels next time as those looked good!

I really like this place as it is very updated compared to a lot of places in San Angelo. The vibe is nice and the prices are fair, but there are definitely things that can be improved on here. I think competent management and additional staff training is very much needed and a lot of the issues, like putting holds on orders, will work themselves out.

This place is a must!! For starters, the customer service is amazing. I was helped by an extremely nice and thoughtful barista. She immediately greeted me with a smile and was super informative on the selection. I ended up going with a BearClaw and it was so delicious! The only complaint I have is I wish I was able to tip on card so I remember to always carry cash when I pop in. Other than that, service was great and food was AMAZING! Definitely coming back!!

Came back to say I did in fact have one good experience there after learning that they just chose not to blend the coffee I ordered blended the first time. So my second experience was decent! HOWEVER, I went back today and the staff was a bunch of under trained kids. I spent 15 minutes waiting for a muffin and a croissant, which weren t even warmed. The atmosphere is great but the staff seems to have some difficulty with rush hour and customer service. During the week we ve had two good experiences but the weekend crew needs a lead/manager. At around 12:30 there was a small rush when we ordered two drinks. The cashier repeated the order back to us correctly but when the second drink came out it was a cold brew on the tag. We sent it back and asked for a Black Ice (blended cookies and cream coffee) which was what we originally ordered. 5 minutes later another employee came back and handed us the exact same drink with no changes made. It took one of us getting back in line to return the drink to get a new drink made by an employee who seemed to want to cover their mistake up before we got to the register. The second drink was also wrong and we knew this because we ordered it just the day before but we were told it was a Black Ice. Overall this place has a lot of potential but there s a few improvements to be made!

This place needs some management and it could be great. Atmosphere is great, drinks and food were pretty good. However, the service was pitiful. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 breakfast sandwiches. Got the first drink about 5 mins after ordering. Food came in about 15 minutes. I mentioned to the guy who handed me our food that I was missing a drink. He said Okay and went back to making other sandwiches. I went to the counter and asked one of the girls if our second drink was being made. She yelled to all the staff is anyone making a Drunken Moose? Everyone looked at her blankly. I give my name and they start going through all the tickets and finally found mine. Then another girl finds the empty cup in front of the espresso machine with the tag on it for my coffee but no coffee made. 8 minutes later, we get our second drink. As we were prepping to leave, the guy making sandwiches says to all the staff while looking frazzled we need to stop taking orders. He said this loud enough for the whole coffee shop to hear. The staff did stop taking orders and the line was to the door by the time we walked out. There were 5 staff members working while we were there. There was only one other couple in line when we got there. This was a Sunday at 0930. The place has potential but the staff could do with some help from a manager, in my opinion.

This place is so cute! It s definitely my new favorite coffee shop in town. I love the variety of the menu and the interior! It s such a cute place. Only downside I would say is the other afternoon when I was there, the manager or someone in charge yelled at the employees a few times it was very awkward. Openings of businesses are definitely stressful I just wish that was done in a private matter and not in front of guests.

Very nice atmosphere. Multiple privacy booths if you want cozy quiet and if youre feeling social theres a nice seating area. Ive only tried two coffee options so far and both tasted very different which I appreciate. Unique flavors in each choice.

What a lovely place! Really recommend coming here with a group or by yourself. There is a ton of comfy seating. The coffee is good, try the drunken moose! And there is even a great little shop attached. Vegetarian options: All types of non dairy milk Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Lots of room Wheelchair accessibility: Very very open for wheelchairs

We had a great visit here today! The food and drinks were fresh and the staff was attentive and welcoming. My boys highly recommend the blueberry waffles :) Kid-friendliness: Large selection of kid friendly foods.
