Enjoyed walk by the lake, ducks in the water. Area appears calm and quiet. A few people fishing. Playground appears small and could easily be crowded. Possibly in need of a larger play area. Grounds were clean.

Beautiful park with lots of shade. Has a nice shaded fishing area, kayak launch and a playground for the kids. Also has a large pavilion with grills to cook out on. A nice place to spend the day.

This park is a hidden gem. It offers ample space and is well-maintained. The playground equipment is in decent condition, and theres a shaded picnic area with several tables. A large open space provides room for various activities. While the river appears green, it looks a good spot for fishing. The two Porta Potties on-site were unexpectedly clean. Theres plenty of parking, with some shaded spots depending on the time of day. Whether youre making a quick stop or spending the day, this park would be a good choice.

This park is beautiful. Right on the water, you can feed the ducks, play catch, play basket ball... Full size court. Tennis court. Gazebo, water fountain. There are no bathrooms, but there are 2 Porta potty inside the wood fenced area by the entrance to the parking lot. Its not marked and looks like its where a dumpster is supposed to be. If there is soccer practice... Good luck finding a parking spot. The equipment is adequate, but not somewhere you can spend the day. Playground: Fun for all ages. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room to walk along the water path Picnic area: A few benches scattered about the park, and some under the gazebo. There is also grilling areas

Saw no signs about dogs, went out mid morning, no one around so we walked to the furthest field and turned her off leash to run. Always pick up after your pets, no matter where you are. A huge number, a congress of black vultures tearing up the plastic trash can liners (they were empty) and they kicked all the briquettes out of the bbq grills all over the pavilion. My dog, no so thrilled. Bug flying birds scary, lol. Loved it.

Park is good for our football team to practice at but the sprinkler system is random I guess now. Our normal practice time is 7pm to 9pm and the sprinklers came on around 730ish which is not the normal time. The port-a-porty is sketchy at best. Idk if that is city cleaned or third party. I know addicts and vagrants probably do not help with that situation either. Otherwise the grounds are pretty well kept.

I dont know if its just this summer or what, but it was absolutely infested with flies. I literally had hundreds flying around myself and my children and nothing deterred them from being all over us. My daughter had previously gone with her school in May and said it was fine, but the end of June was just disgusting. Hopefully it gets better because it is definitely a beautiful park.

Hidden gem in southeastern San Angelo. Convenient to Goodfellow AFB and a three minute drive from downtown. This park offers everything- playground for children with mulch ground cover and wheelchair friendly ramps, covered pavilion for shaded picnics, ample parking (does get crowded when sports teams are practicing or playing), large, mature pecan trees which provide excellent shade for outdoor picnic area with charcoal grills, river access for fishing, kayak launch, tennis court, basketball courts, baseball fields, large open green space for soccer and football, 2 porta potty bathrooms by parking area, and an under bridge area to explore. Check out Lone Wolf pedestrian bridge across the street before you leave. There are always family reunions and birthday parties going on at Glenmore park on the weekends. It s a beautiful space the city should be very proud of.
