Very impressed. I recently decided to try a new Doctor and chose Dr. Payne. From scheduling the appointment to checkout it was a great experience. Employees are so nice and friendly. I already love Tonya I felt very comfortable talking to her. Like Ive known her forever. Im so glad I gave Texas Health a try.

Took here my wife about a month ago cause she was having severe headaches. The doctor didn t do any analysis or anything, he just told her she probably was just under a huge amount of stress. The headaches persist and we went to another clinic and turns out she had a severe anemia. I don t get how can a doctor diagnose something without even asking for lab studies or looking for symptoms. The out of pocket money we payed was worth for nothing. We are not coming back

I called today to try to make an appointment because I am sick and needed an appointment as soon as possible. The lady that answered the was more worried about what kind of insurance I had and what RACE I was before even confirming if she had an appointment available! I felt discriminated and unworthy of their care! Once I said I had Blue Cross Blue Shield was my insurance then is when she had an appointment available! What a shame !

I have been seeing Dr. Meyers for, at least, 30 years and am absolutely in love with him and his nurses. Their bedside manner is impeccable, and their care and concern for my health has been amazing. Everyone has been kind and respectful during my visits the folks at the front desk, the nurses, the lab technicians, everyone. This place is so good that, even when I moved to East Texas 7 years ago, I still drove the 1.5 hours to see Dr. Meyers. And I plan to continue that drive until he retires, which will be a sad day for his patients but well-deserved for him.

Dr. Meyer has been my doctor for over 15 years. I ve now moved further away from Rowlett, but I still make the 30 minute drive to see him because of his care for his patients.

I had my first appointment here and I had to race to google to write a review. I m kind of baffled by the low stars because this was the best doctors office experience I have ever had. I have a history of medical trauma relating to really bad doctor experiences and I cannot say a single bad thing about this office. The front staff was incredible. All of them were the friendliest people I ve ever met in my life. Dr. Meyers is phenomenal. I have never in my entire life felt more at ease with a doctor which says so much about this place after years and years of horrible experiences. I loved every second of this experience. Please don t ever close or go anywhere!! I finally feel like I can see a physician without fear and anxiety. I d give 10 stars if I could.

First of all I have never dealt with with such rude people when maken an apt the attitude and the abrupt hostility definitely can be heard and to seem be a professional office something has def changed in the office management hands unfortunately the doctors nurses and Pa ast do not know how certain girls are in the office so I would say bring it to the doctors attention unfortunately it makes the entire office look not only bad but made me not be returing and as well as the other half of my family members as well I would suggest filing a compliant and not with anyone in that office directly because sometime the person causing the problems is the person who handles all of this kind of stuff Texas health resources which is part of the Presbyterian family would be your be resort or resources. Hopefully I will return when they can get preofessional people or people that are not so hostile and hateful but he when your under fed and under paid and carry a little bitty purse they are mad at the worl

Called to get an appointment set up as a new patient and the woman who answered the phone was very abrupt. When I said I wanted to set up an initial visit she said they didnt set an appointment up unless there was something I needed to see the doctor about. I said OK and I was about to explain that there were a few things I wanted to get checked out like my blood pressure and but she hung up on me before I could get it out. I felt like I was bothering her. Not planning on going there after all.

on tuesday i made an appointment with a girl that had no idea how to use the phone or know what month it was. a week later i get ready for my appointment and they call saying they don t take my insurance after all and now i have to find another place after a week. I AM IN SO MUCH PAIN. I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR. so upset now i have to start all over with someone else and stay in pain.

I made an appointment online for a check up because it had been a while since I ve visited a doctor. I scheduled it intentionally during spring break because I am an educator and work throughout the week and their office is closed on the weekend. When I arrived to my appointment, I was told it had been canceled because they didn t know why I was visiting.. even though I included that information when initially scheduling. They said they didn t have a way to contact me even though my work number was listed and I check my voicemail regularly. It was extremely unprofessional to cancel my appointment in the moment. If you prefer to have new patients sign up for appointments via phone to gather information, the online option shouldn t be available. It was a waste of my time to have me not only drive the 40 minutes to the office but also fill out initial patient paperwork only to tell me my appointment was canceled.

If you want a doctor who even partially listens to you or even pretends to care, dont see Dr Payne. He couldnt be bothered with either my my husbands problems he scheduled his appointment for. This is why ERs are inundated right now, because PCPs dont want to do their job.

After attempting to contact Dr. Ashley Goodall multiple ways and multiple times, I suppose this the last resort along with looking for new care. My husband has been under her care for several months now to control his diabetes. On September 19th, he received a 30-day supply of his medication and was told he didnt have any more refills. He was told at his last appointment (June) he wasnt needed to come back for another 6 months (so, December). It is now October 24th and he is without medication. Last week, he attempted to request a refill through the pharmacy who let us know the request was denied due to being too soon. My husband tried sending a message through the patient portal where the message was read with zero response. He then called on Saturday and was told that even though he would run out of medicine on Sunday, the 23rd, nothing could be done and hed have to wait until today (Monday). He has now attempted calling and no one is even answering the phones. The staff at this practice doesnt seem to care if patients are cared for appropriately or if they have vital medication.

Came here as a new patient and I am so glad i did. I normally hate going to the Dr but everyone i spoke to were so incredibly nice. Ashley and her assistant are both so sweet. I felt very safe and welcomed. Lady in the lab was great as well. Such a good experience overall I m so relieved.

I used to see Angie Mason and Maddie at this location and they are both AWESOME to work with. Today, I got to see Maddie and Jala Redmon, PA. Maddie was kind and patient as usual. Jala was also very kind, patient and made me feel like she was actually invested in my health. That makes ALL the difference! Id recommend her and Angie - and Maddie - to anyone. My experience with the front desk was better than past interactions. The other reviews are not wrong, sometimes they can be rude and sound uncaring and bothered. When people are calling the doctors office, its usually because theyre experiencing some kind of issue and they need help. The front desk/phone team should ALWAYS be kind. But many people just deal with it because they like their provider.

Best staff. Reliable care, genuinely care about my health or it seems that way lol. Easy to get appointments, very clean. Easy parking. They always answer all my questions. I can email my doc anytime through their system and check all my tests and visit info online. I feel like they are not judging your lifestyle/orientation/color, they are treating you the human. Very good folks here. Highly recommended.

Super slow receptionist and terrible service. The doctors are good if you ever get to see them. It was never a problem getting in when it was Benchmark. I was actually turned down for someone seeing me because the lady up front tried to tell me I had a work related injury. Even though I told her I was not at work. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Very disapointed with Texas Health!

I love the doctor I see here. But everything around the doctor is so absolutely horrible. All the people there are INCREDIBLY rude. I have had a lady yell at me once while trying to make an appointment. Transfers to voicemail, never returning calls when you leave messages, extremely rude staff. The only thing keeping me here is Dr Myer and I wish he would go elsewhere.They also have very bad practices, like if you talk to the doctor for more than one problem youre having, the bill you for a lot more money. I would not recommend new patients go to this horrible, terrible place!

The staff at Benchmark Medical has always been super friendly and always makes sure I know what is going on. Dr. Mrnustik is an amazing physician. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he also goes above and beyond in every visit to make sure I understand everything. And if you need an enlightening conversation about classic movies, he s definitely your guy!

My husband called the clinic. The lady that answer the phone is mean. My husband was asking her if they take tricare prime. My husband said he is retired military. She was asking him how far he was from a base. As far as Im concern she is discriminating against veterans. She wouldnt even tell him if they took it or not.

I had my first visit with NP Angela Mason today and it was one of the easiest wellness visits Ive had. NP Mason was so understanding and accommodating. She really listened to my questions and concerns while giving me very compassionate and educational solutions/explanations. I walked out of Benchmark feeling so relieved, cared for, and with a better understanding of my issues. Id definitely recommend NP Angela Mason to anyone whos wanting a genuine, caring, and educated PCP. Everyone I encountered at Benchmark Family Medicine from the nurses to the front desk staff were so very pleasant and informative as well. Im so happy to have found my new PCP office!

We love Dr.Meyer when we can see him, hes so busy we can never get an appointment with our own primary. We usually have to see Dr.Parker which hes great. The problem is not the doctors but its the wait time trying to get an appointment. Ive been on hold since 8 this morning and remain on hold as Im typing this at 10:10. This is ridiculous. I even had it ring to someone only to be disconnected and had to call back again.Maybe you guys need more help answering phones??? I know that when I do finally reach someone I will be greeted by attitude. The ladies who answer are never nice. I agree with the other comments that if youre unhappy find another job. Really need to find a new doctor because holding over 2 hours to just make an appointment is not right.

Let me tell you about this place. They dont look to help their patients. They look to make money. These people wouldnt even help me to get Tylenol 3 pain medication after an accident that I had on Sunday and went to a chiropractor for and he conducted x-rays a diagnosed me with severe spinal issues and this place wouldnt even help me to get any pain medication unless I went in there to see them so they could get paid money to give me a prescription. I have major spinal issues I can hardly move or get out of my bed but these people want me to go win so they can get paid for giving me a prescription. Yeah not a place that takes care of their patients well-being at all!!!!!!!!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Parker around twenty years now. I just love the way he will talk to you and make sure that you understand everything you need to know. I would follow him anywhere that he goes and have from when he was at Garland. The only problem know is that the clinic has become a little to corporate for me, everyone is still great and I would and have recommended them to others. Devoted to Dr. Parker, but if I can not get in to see him, Ashley the PA is great and sweet. If you call early enough you will get in to see a doctor that day.

The guy that answers the phone, and some of the receptionist can be rude but other than that its a good doctors office. Better than some of the other doctors offices I have been too. RN, FNPBC Angela Mason and Mattie is great! She listens to you and care about what you have too saying!!

Ive been coming to Benchmark for my whole life! The doctor who delivered me was with them at their old office and this one briefly, but retired a few years back. I liked the staff overall, and their awesome facilities (on-site bloodwork, x-rays, allergy tests, etc.) so I decided to stay on and now have Ms. Goodall (PAC) as my primary physician and Dr. Parker when needed. Its a 30 minute drive but worth it.

Strongly recommend looking for a different location. Ive been there a few times and have constantly been displeased. 1st time - When trying to book an appointment they wasted my time with generic form information and refused to allow me to book an appointment until demographic and other non essential information was given. Even after I expressed I was short on time and would come early to provide any information they needed. 2nd time Waited almost an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor. if you are expecting to go in and out of the office with an appointment that will not happen. Terrible service.

My family has been going here for quite sometime but today was our last day. I showed up 13 minutes late for an appointment, admittedly that is my fault. After filling out my check-in form the front office guy goes back to see the doctor and comes out saying that I will have to reschedule since I am now 16 minutes late. Wow. I have sat in this waiting room for more than 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before due to the office being behind. My family and I will find another doctors office to goto, hopefully with better customer service.

Love PA Ashley Goodall. The whole office is well run and I love having a lab on the premises. The front office staff could be a little warmer and more welcoming, but thats my only concern. I like the online medical portal. So easy to communicate with my caregiver. The medical staff is great!
