He also is very helpful outside of his circle, getting things done that his patient needs! His staff is super friendly and very understanding so Thank you Ranelle!! God Bless You All

You can see the Round Rock from the road, so its not totally necessary to leave your car. There is plenty of parking at the trail entrance if youd like to get out. Beware that the road is fairly busy, so watch out with kids. There also seems to be construction. Overall the Rock is definitely a must to see if visiting Round Rock.

If youre in the area, be sure to stop by and see the round rock. You can see the ruts cut into the surrounding limestone from the wagons of yesteryear. People knew when they were near the town of Brushy when they saw the round rock. Eventually they decided to rename the town Round Rock after the rock.

Everyone interested in the history of Texas must visit this place. The reason - Round Rock is got its name still exists here in middle of the shallow Brushy Creek river. Good place to spend time with family on a weekend afternoon. Do carry some swim suits in summer for a nice hangout. As of Mar2023, the trail is being closed for repair and can be walked until 0.9 miles only. #HappyTrails

The park is awaiting construction and theres no safety rails or sidewalks on the low bridge. The Historical relevence to this place is equal to scenic serenity and feeling of serndipity i get when i rode my bicycle by there. Wildlife on this street, Chisholm Trail Drive comes out mostly at night and might tend to be territorial due to construction of buildings in their habitat.

The rock itself was pretty cool to see. We learned through trial and error that we should not have parked to the north of the Rock at the old Town square businesses. This way was dangerous due to no sidewalks and blind traffic coming around the curve. Then we felt like wed ended up in an abandoned materials site as the nice hike and bike trail project seems to have been abandoned. Be careful if you walk the trail that goes east from the rock, there are gaps in the sidewalk and we witnessed 2 people trip and fall. We even found a nice playground, with seemingly no way to access it besides this incomplete trail. Rather we should have parked to the south west at the Chisholm trail crossing park. It appears this way has more signage that explains the history of the site. Now we know. Hopefully this helps someone else.

Cute place and good walk around it. Once the construction is done, it will be fun to go there again. Pack a sandwich. Walk around and sit in any park on both sides. It is simple yet connected to urban life. The round rock though is small and cute and symbolizes why it was used as a marker long ago today it can be decorated like a lamp! Aladdin s lamp gentle rub and a genie appears! That s you!

A lovely place to come and view some nature and history. You have to be careful of the traffic on the low bridge crossing, but it is a beautiful place to sit and watch the waterfall. Tracks can be seen in the stone from where the wagons used this as the Chisholm Trail. There is a new walking path to the west (West Trail Gateway) that goes for a couple of miles, but as of Nov 2020, dead-ends once you pass over the bridge.

Its made of stone and relatively circular. Some inward fractures but thats to be expected of a natural feature. The name absolutely does it justice. This is indeed a Round Rock, the one the city of Round Rock was named for. Located just east of a small bridge, the best parking is about 100 feet south on the west side of the road.
