Would not recommend by the time had gone 5 minutes away and opened food this is what24.00 got us. took right back they were very rude , said not their fault if it tilts, sorry but if your beans are so runny moving a plastic to go box makes them do this, they aint right. Spoke to manager with no resolution, would not remake the tacos even though they were wrong and everything was covered in refried bean juice. I am not gonna lie , I did attempt to eat it but flavors were not there..No spices were tasted.. So mediocre food and rude staff..No thanks Joes meat market wins over you guys.

We have been going to this market for years and today my husband had a horrible experience, after him having a long Day Out building our home and keep in mind It rained all this weekend, Its obvious that he will show up to any store with muddy boots, Shoes, or what have you. He was approached by a male employee telling him that he was getting their floor dirty. Well, if this is a business you figured theyre going to have their own people, maintenance or cleaning people clean their floors at the end of each day. And not only that, the cashiers, oh my gosh, they have the most horrible attitude very unprofessional, and they just treated him flat out wrong just because he got their floor dirty. Im pretty sure hes not the only one that walks in there with thirty boots. This is the last time going there.. I hope their owner reads this to see how he was treat just because he dirty up their floors.. pathetic..

FYI. When buying lots of meat, please check your receipt to see if the price matches the tag they print out at the meat counter. They will mark up the price by $100 or more without you even noticing. This happened to us recently and from friends and family. For example, we bought $257 worth of fajitas for a party and upon checking the receipt they charged $357. Check your receipts people.

This Hole-in-a-Wall, has some great Mexican products and food. Ive had the Chicken Soup(served only on Mondays) and Beef Soup(served only on Wednesday). The portions of food are very Texas(large to extra large)....served with Tortillas, onions, Cilantro and limes. Can not get anything like this east of Lake Ray Hubbard. They also make their own chip and salsa.

The kitchen/butcher shop staff was very rude. Especially the person who delivers and the person who collects. Very bad attitude and terrible customer service. What a shame, the food is not the best but with a little better attitude we would return but I think it will be the first and last time. :(

Lookout for what you buy at this store. Many things they have to sell are expired. Look at what you buy in this store. Many things are already overdue. I just bought some Grujitos and they removed the expiration date and they taste super bad. How bad.

Very expensive, today I went to buy a roll of aluminum foil and its at $6.69 and at Walmart its at $4.68, $2 dollars more expensive, insanely inflated prices, imagine the other prices, just think about all the people who dont check the prices and just buy How much money are they wasting, Walmart is cheaper, not because it is in the middle of nowhere, they should be abusing it... everything I bought was $5 dollars more than what I could have saved at Walmart, shame on everyone who is going to buy there Then they say they dont help the Hispanic markets... This rating is for the restaurant/hot food section. The menudo was hot but not fresh. It smelled so bad. Either the meat was not fresh or it wasn t cleaned throughly. Was really disappointed to get home and open the container that was almost $30 to smell such a putrid thing. The barbacoa was tough, stringy, and dry. The store section I would rate a 3 out 5. The store is small and has a very limited selection. The chicharrón we got from the meat section was smelled old. Honestly the whole experience was very disappointing. If you want some better food or more of a variety of things just head to Mesquite, Greenville or even Terrell.

Very very disappointed with this store Aces food many days is delicious and tastes horrible and the worst thing, which I hate to see, is that they are pure Hispanics along with the disrespectful manager named Gil, and so he yells at them in front of people. Poor ladies, cooks and cagers, I ask you to call human resources and OSHA to see how this man treats and abuses employees. People, remember its just work, report them to the safest type of batos who dont even have documents, thats why you feel like you can abuse another Hispanic.

So disappointing with LA Victoria, I got beef fajitas $13 lbs. It had so much fat. I talked to the manager over the phone, he told me next time I came in he would give me a credit...well it took me about a month or so to go back(I dont bbq every weekend). He told me that because I didnt go back right away he couldnt do anything. I had lots of pictures to show him the quality of meet they are selling.

If you are tired of Tex-Mex and looking for those authentic street taco s go to La Victoria grocery store off Hwy 30 just past Carl s junior and Love gas station on the Left hand side of the freeway. It is worth the trip ! 1$ street taco s with any meat you can think of plus beans rice and other dishes. It is in the way back of the store and the 3 ladies who run and cook it are the best. It s clean and quick , you can eat there or to go. The hot sauce is in a little refrigerator so pick the type you like.. Local workers up there eat at this place and I know it s one of the best kept secrets if your into eating real taco s. Food great, clean place , busy times 12 noontime, easy to get to, masks can be worn if you want, quick service.

I just moved to Fate and discovered this little gem. Everyone here was extremely welcoming and friendly. The carne asada (fajita meat as it is called here in TX) was fresh and good quality. The chorizo was great as well. They had a good selection of crema from various regions as well. They will have a repeat customer, that is for sure.

Favorite Spanish meat market marred by lacking COVID response. Most spanish speaking individuals Im aware of will go to here or any Michoacana nearby. Subjectively speaking I prefer the taste of the meat here which in my opinion relies more so on seasonings than a marinade to tenderize the meat. COVID: the store has markers at 6 foot intervals but only the cashier and one other employee were wearing masks; none of the butchers or any other employees were wearing gloves or masks. The cashier does have plexiglass like areas to minimize risks of transmission/contamination. None of the customers are distancing appropriately at the food court area but that cant necessarily be faulted to the company. I dont know if this place was stricter from March to end of May but then became more lax but its disappointing to see nonetheless.
