The best Peruvian food in TEXAS!! Rice with seafood, chaufa rice, green noodles, excellent! We had such a delicious lunch on Saturday that we returned to try the Sunday breakfast, 100% recommended!! From the empanadas, the tamales... the warm bread!! Freshly baked! Bread with chicharrón, with loin, and chicken, between my husband, my son and I we were able to try each one, (I didnt think I would buy takeout!!). Three Peruvian families who taste different dishes! Thanks to the cooks!! From San Antonio we wish many successes to this incredible restaurant, where we know, as Peruvians, that their food has its demands... and we Peruvians know them!! Thank you Victor for your welcome, and for the excellent service, God bless you!! See you soon!

Food was great. Service was not the best. The waiter looked like she was not happy the be there, but at least fake it, cause you are providing a service and receive tips for it. If you are buying food products to go ask for separate check for them, because they will put everything together ( food products and dine in food) and ask you to tip for everything up front.

Great service when we come here. They have a large selection of foods and desserts and they are consistently great. Their empanadas are the best. You really can t go wrong when eating here. Come with an appetite as the servings are large. We use them all the time to help cater or parties at our home. They can be busy so order ahead of time. Especially if wanting large quantities. They can accommodate large parties at the restaurant. They have a nice selection of Peruvian foods to take home.

I cannot stress enough how lovely Tineo is. Whether youre new to Peruvian food, or youre a native Peruvian, this place is for you! P.S. be sure not to leave without an empanada, theyre soooo good!

Food was not horrible, but it wasn t even okay. We couldn t finish the empanadas, they were nasty. Ordered a pollo & lomo saltado. Both severely disappointed as no seasoning. It tasted like meat taken out of the pack & cooked with oil & salt. Nothing else. The service was bad. We were only checked up twice. To take the order & to again to take the order.

Drive in to DFW just to eat here. After spending 10 days in Peru this summer 2 weeks without lomo saltado was too long. I m a good cook and will make it in the future, but didn t have some of the needed ingredients so we found a recommended Peruvian restaurant and set out. There was no let down I had tallarin de huancaina con lomo saltado. (That s a beef stir-fry on a bed of spaghetti noodles in a cheesy pepper sauce.) and a sugar free Inca cola. Took me right back to Lima. My wife got lomo saltado also excellent, and then we spent too much on stuff to take home. All in all we will be back and it was fantastic

Attention to people who came after me. Thanks for wasting my time to go.

I recently visited Tineo Peruvian Cafe on a busy Mothers Day and left feeling disappointed due to the service. Despite understanding the challenges of a busy holiday, the management of our orders was inefficient. Our large group of 11 endured a nearly two-hour wait before our meals were served, which was explained by a broken system where orders were not distributed in a first come, first serve manner. This haphazard service model led to significant delays and confusion. The only redeeming aspect of the experience was the food itself; the Tofu Saltado was particularly impressive, with great flavors. However, the overall experience was marred by the poor service, making it difficult to fully enjoy our visit.

We had the trio Marino and the causa acevichada, and it was delicious, it really made me feel I was in Peru, especially how the fish was so fresh like it is in the North of Peru. This place is legitimately amazing. Discovered it the other weekend. We got a lot of food and everything was incredible. 100% order the chicha morada to drink - it s a purple corn drink from the Andean region of Peru. Their tropical fruit juices are also worth ordering. I have never been to Peru, but I m going to take a guess that the flavorings and preparation are purely authentic. Whether or not that s actually true, the food is so good that it doesn t really matter.

Their seco de carne is perfectly executed, with tender beef and good portion sizes. Their Peruvian style pesto with steak (tallarines verdes con bistec) is equally good. Terrible experience. The worst service I have ever seen in my life. My pregnant wife and I arrived for lunch at 12:45pm. We ordered a pitcher of passion fruit juice, an appetizer and two main courses. The jug of juice arrived a few minutes later. We began to notice that many other people who had arrived after us had already brought their orders and they did not even come to give us an estimate. Seeing that almost an hour had passed, I stopped to ask if something was wrong and they told me they were going to check. I went back to my table and they never told me that they had been able to review. After another fifteen minutes we decided to go to the counter to let them know that we were leaving and ask for the bill. They were not able to apologize. They only charged me $12 for a jug of juice and told me my order had been placed at 1:34pm. Saying that I wasnt right. Super frustrating situation and what a disastrous service from the waiters and their supervisors. 1 star service for 4 star prices.

Cant speak for the food as mine never came. Wifes came in 5 minutes. I ordered a few minutes after her and it never came until we asked several times they finally brought it but we turned it down as we were fed up with waiting The lady never checked on us and when we asked what was up with my food she never gave us an update. She just let us sit there until we said just give us the check for the one plate. Never going back again.

We walked in as we were in the area and had some time to kill and wanted a snack. We were greeted and asked to sit down for service or if we wanted place an order to go. We opted to sit down. The empanadas here delicious! They also offered fresh squeezed orange juice (a bit of a rarity these days). The rest of the menu looks delicious and we can t wait to return and try it out on our next visit.

Im new to Dallas, but I already feel like Tineo is my home away from home. The vibe of the restaurant is friendly and feels like family. The food is sooo delicious! Im a fan of their Chicken Saltado and their Tallarin Saltado, chicharron, their chicha morada and maracuya juice, yumm! I often order from UberEATS, but their menu there is limited, if you happen to stop by the restaurant you will be tempted with soo much more. I tried their alcoholic drink Pisco Sour, delicious and their desserts mazamorra morada, arroz con leche, picarones... The best! And they are a bakery and a small market for Peruvian stuff too. Im so happy I found this place! Vegetarian options: They are vegan friendly with replacing the meat of Lomo Saltado with Tofu

Came here with friends and we had some of the best Peruvian food we could ask for. Highly recommend the empanadas, lomo saltado, ceviche, and aji de gallina. My wife is gluten free and they accomodate very well with yuca fries and tofu saltado. If you have extra room for dessert we recommend the leche asada and arroz con leche. The lunch portions are very generous. Will come back again soon!
