I went with my family to try this Peruvian restaurant with great expectations since the previous Peruvian restaurant we went to, which was Machu Pichu, I had a bad experience with the food. In this Cuzco restaurant I asked for a grill for 2 because I was eating with my youngest son and on the plate I found a hair and it really made me sick and I changed it for another plate but it was no longer the same, I no longer wanted to eat. I will continue looking for a good Peruvian restaurant Parking: Broad Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah

Be careful, they try to take advantage by adding extra charges for products you dont ask nor consume. We went for lunch and had 2 water with lemons to drink with our meals. The waiter tried to charged 2 JUICES (10 DOLLARS) for the 2 WATER with LEMON. He initially was reluctant to share the itemized bill and always mentioned we had water only but when confronted, he indicated that is how the restaurant charges, and he was willing to drop the charges as a favor, which is total BS..BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE NOT HISPANIC .. they think you dot understand english and/or wont read the bill.

I have been to Cuzco several times, but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had here. The food before was really great, and usually the service is great as well, but this place has often been going down recently. We came here and sat, ordered our drinks which took about 10-15 minutes to get them and that s not even the worst part. The service was awful, there were only 2 servers and there was definitely a lack of communication. One of the servers was working hard, but the other server just giving drinks, giving bills and not helping her teammate when he really needed it. I was very disappointed because he took our order and put in the kitchen, about 20-25 mins later the food was out, but since he was helping out some other customers he couldn t get the food, the other server was just in her own world not helping him at all. The kitchen kept ringing there bell to signal our waiter that the food was ready. Our food was there for about 5-10 mins and it got cold. We didn t want to say anything because they would have tooken more time to make the food again or reheat it. Now the other waiter was just walking around not really doing anything and when the kitchen kept ringing the bell she said, I will get it in a minute, when the food has been out for over 5 mins. The food doesn t have that taste as it did before. What really pissed me off after was when the bill came, there was 5 of us and on our bill it said there were 7 guests, they charged us 20% gratuity and when i requested them to change it, i got the same bill back, I was already done with the situation at hand, I usually always tip but this time i didn t even want to tip at all because of this experience. You expect a restaurant to be prepared for this kind of stuff especially for the price of the food, which is kind of pricey now. 4/10 wouldn t recommend coming here

Fantastic spot with delicious food. They could probably benefit from another one or two staff members as their team certainly seemed stretched a little thin but the food was as it always is, delicious. I brought a group of friends who have never had Peruvian food before and they loved everything they tried (and we tried a lot). I highly recommend you try them out!

They are abusive, they themselves set the amount of tips, they ask you for more than 20% more than everything they demand from you and when you want to make a claim they tell you that it is the same system that charges you and they come out saying that it is because of people who charge the tips. tips you were 3 adults and 3 children and they charge you for the tips even if they are children

We showed up as the restaurant opened. We were the first table in. Appetizers were good. Ordered the actual meals, after an hour of waiting on the food, the waiter told us that they couldnt make two of the meals as they were out of that kind of rice (Again we were the first table of the day). They had to reorder, once the meals arrived, the rice was cold and undercooked. The food lacked flavor and just wasnt that good.

The food is delicious, the menu is very diverse, and the prices are very reasonable. To improve customer service: the waiters should be more cordial, smile, clean the tables before the diners sit down, and not look like they are working reluctantly. I am not saying they were rude or provided poor service, but they could improve in these aspects.

Cuzco is super underrated this the most amazing Peruvian restaurant I ve found in the DFW area! It s not a super fancy place, but trust me the food is to die for. My favorite plates are ceviche de pescado , leche de tigre , and jalea mixta . The servings are pretty big so I would recommend to order fewer and different dishes and share. Everything is fresh, high quality, and it makes me feel like I m literally in Perú!

I had a feeling the food was going to be good from the moment I stepped out of my car and smelled the food from the parking lot. We ordered the Arroz con Pollo and everything was seasoned all through. The chicken was juicy and rice cooked to perfection. I loved how well rounded the spices were. The garlic comes through nicely. Also, the portions are amazing. The food isn t spicy but they give you spicy sauce if you want it. The lomo saltado and other dishes looked very good and we will definitely try next time.

DO NOT GO HERE! I can understand why people come because the food is good, but the service is HORRIBLE! When you walk in, you literally have to find a table yourself. The waiters see you but they ignore you. Since it was our first time, we obviously didn t know and we were standing for a long time. Other people after us also were standing for a long time and they left. The waiters don t come to you until you call them whether it s for menus, plates, silverware, etc. we waited about 25 minutes to get our order taken. Because we were so hungry, we didn t leave. There was even a family next to us that came in later than us and went through the same thing we did but their food never came out, after 40 minutes!!!!!!! I wish I were exaggerating but it s the truth. And to make matters worse, when we got our check, they had already included a 20% gratuity to our check!!!! I was so upset by then. I went to the cash register and asked for this to be changed. The lady was very angry and snatched the recipes out of my hand like if I were a kid and I told her that she doesn t need to be like that with me because I didn t disrespect or insult anyone. In the end we left no tip. Please please save your time, money, and peace of mind. Go to Lima Taverna, which is only 9 minutes away from Cuzco.

Both owners and staff have very bad customer service. When entering the restaurant staff is sitting down eating and folding silverware and leaves you waiting to be sat. I drive from Plano to Richardson on a Thursday night to be told that the kitchen was only available for take out. The door and website says restaurant hours are until 9pm, doesn t mention separate hours for take out and dining and it wasn t even 8:30pm. I was with a client and very embarrassed about how we were treated. The bathrooms are always dirty with paper towels all over the floor. The restaurant has a smell of backup sewer. Try Lima Taverna in Plano. I ll never go back here.

Absolutely flavorful food. Peruvian food has been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember. I am a creature of habit and chose to roll with the regular. I mean how can you go wrong! The calamari came out crisp, snappy and delicious. The Yucca was fried crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The Lomo Saltado is the love child of Soy Sauce and steak fajitas with potatoes. The rice was light and fluffy. We also had the Tacu Tacu A Lo Pobre and the bean and rice mixture was caught me off guard. I thought it was bread. The plantains were lightly sweet. The green sauce is king! The steak perfectly cooked. We went there an hour before they closed. Great food nice ambiance. We will be back.

Went on a company Christmas lunch. First time ever having Peruvian food. It did not disappoint!!! The table started out with an appetizer of Choros a la Chalaca which is mussels served cold with what I would reference as a type of pico de gallo atop. Fresh and DELICIOUS! Then the main course I ordered the pescado à lo Macho (I believe that s the one) the sauce was divine!!!! The mussels cooked perfectly- while the shrimp were soft meaty (not overcooked at all!!)- the calamari was delicious- the fillet that comes with it was thick and flaky. The plate of food was served promptly and hot! The table then ordered a dessert called picarones these remind me of a donut but my goodness!!! These are addicting! Despite me being stuffed and already couldn t finish my plate I didn t want to offend and not try. I broke one in half and loved them so much I had to look up a recipe to try and make at home I don t live around any Peruvian restaurant s or I would definitely just get an order of these as a sweet treat!

We always come here to eat but today everything was horrible, to start the chili was 100% watery and tasteless as well as the rocoto, the raw chicken, the burnt rice, the seafood chaufa had no taste and it felt like the rice was burnt The chicha morada without flavor or color looked like dirty water. I dont know what happened, but even the cook, I think, was aware of her disaster in the kitchen, and she came out to look out of the corner of her eye at the kitchen door at all times. I also saw her try the chili seeing some customers complaints and he did nothing to fix it (everything was horrible) Im sorry but its the truth and while talking to the lady next to my table she told me the same thing that her rice with duck was UGLY and SALTY

The place was busy for fathers day. But they managed to handle it with only two servers/busboys. The food was very good. Arroz con mariscos, excellent! Tallarín saltado de carne, outstanding! The Jalea Norteña was beautifully cooked, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Just beware that it is a dish for two. Well be coming back to try more! Take it from a Peruvian... UPDATE: still good, still humongous portions. Vegetarian options: There are three vegetarian options: saltado de vegetales, chaufa de vegetales and tallarines verdes. Ask if they have more.

We ordered the tacu tacu with steak yesterday and it was flavorless. Even after pouring salt it still lacked flavor. My friend ordered the chicken Tamale and she said it tasted stale. We will not come back to this place again

Comimos un Ceviche muy rico. Recomendable volveremos pronto. Very good peruvian place in Dallas. I had Ceviche and it was great very much as tou can get in Lima at any cevicheria. So superb is what I think. Parking: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: You can take kids no problem

Went in with family members. There was a huge TV showing music videos of reggaeton artist, and of Shakira, which was kind of cool. I had the green spaghetti with grilled chicken, and fried plantains, and a tropical drink. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The price was real good for the amount of food you get. So, overall it was a very nice experience.

The food was great, ordered the Ceviche, arroz chuafa de mariscos and caldo de gallina BUT the service wasnt. We recieved our ceviche almost when we were done with our food and we only got it because we asked for it (they forgot it). Not one time did they ask if we wanted more water or anything. They either need to hire more people or find a better way to give service (be more attentive). Youre better off ordering online since youll be waiting to get service. This isnt the first time either :/

i have eaten on several occasions in this place! The food is excellent but the service is terrible only when the boy with long hair is attended, today I spent my family 50 minutes together waiting 15 to order 15 waiting for drinks and the last one was that to another table that came 20 minutes after mine came first! Definitely that boy shouldnt keep working there! Its the worst thing I could ever meet as a mesoner
